The ending to this show is shown at the very beginning but that doesn't make it hurt any less. Like by the end of this show I was still a sobbing mess. If anything, I think showing it at the start makes the whole show hurt much more. This being because every happy scene you think about the ending that you saw at the start. The show itself is as also really good, you get to see the ML and FL fall in love all over again, you also get to the 2ML find himself. Everything was done perfectly and felt real in sense that it flowed so naturally. While there was obviously thing to dramatize it the show still showed real things. Overall, I really love this show and even knowing that I will cry watching it I will gladly watch it over and over again.

Perfectly Flawed

First time reviewing a drama in so long but this drama deserves my 2 cents.

From the cinematography, to the scoring, to the story, and to the acting, everything this drama has to offer was perfect. The only reason I left a .5 scoremark in the review was because I don't think I could rewatch this again (maybe I could, but I wouldn't survive it haha).

The characters themselves weren't perfect, and that's okay as that aspect made the drama more realistic--more heartbreakingly close to reality. And that's one thing I liked in this drama. No sugarcoating, just people trying to portray people on the daily that you sometimes ask yourself while watching if the actors are still acting because they portrayed the characters so well.

Every scene and emotion delivered was perfect up until the ending. It ended the way it was supposed to end which made the storyline of this drama deserve a 10/10. Don't let others discourage you from watching this piece as you'll definitely pick up lessons here and there. It's a life drama I think everyone should give a chance watching.

When I saw the snow start to fall at the end, I wanted to smash my computer.

But oh my god, I wish I had watched this show sooner. it was unexpectedly amazing??!! I don't even know why I thought it wouldn't be amazing, but it exceeded my wildest expectations.

Okay, so first of all the ACTING??!! Woo Do Hwan and Lee Yoo Mi, I may have to watch every single one of your shows?? Their crying scenes so realistic (her trying to smile at the end while she was crying. snot running down his nose while he was sobbing his eyes out)?? Their CHEMSITRY??!!! Every time they had a scene together I felt like I was intruding on something. The way it was SO NATURAL??!!! That one scene where Hae Jo thought that Jae Mi was going to kiss him, but she bit her nose??!! The intimacy of every single word they said??!!

Also Bongsuk was amazing, loved her. My Liberation Notes is one of my favorite kdramas, so her actress/character holds a special place in my heart.

AND THE STORY IS PHENOMENAL. I cannot stress enough how this story could have gone wrong in so many ways, but it didn't?? The way they all loved each other so much and cared for each other in so many different ways?? Also, the fact that each character was done right made me so happy.

There is probably more I could say, but I watched this whole show in a day (2-12) and I lowkey need to sleep.

But of course, this show was so beautiful and heartwarming and sad and entertaining and warm, and you should definitely give it a try.

EDIT: OMG I FORGOT TO TALK ABOTU JOHN NA. Obviously, I wanted to see like who he actually was, but then when he revealed himself, and he was NICO KIM??!! I WAS SHOCKED, and then angry, because why would they cover NICO KIMS FACE THE WHOLE TIME??!! AND NOT LET HIM SPEAK??!! That was stupid. But hey, at least he was in the drama.

Gaslighting treated as a comedy - Not for me.

I landed on this series only because I filtered for Comedy, Romance, Drama, Netflix... and ended up with only Regret.
The comedy is hard to watch. They are broken individuals that may perceive things in a warped manner, but it doesn't call for major gaslighting and that does not help the situation at all. So much manipulation and stemming from self-pity... And they should seek professional help for their issues, not take it out on each other and everyone who cares for them. Even as someone who has experienced first-hand abandonment, I cannot agree to the way the story plays out and I would be horrified if every time I shouted or asked for help, I was left stranded, TIED UP, etc by a mentally unstable ex! I found this to become mildly more to thriller/horror already and decided to drop the series. I hardly write reviews but it just did not sit well with me that this was rated so highly and the genre is miscategorized.

I have to say though - the actors played their roles well. No fault in them at all. In fact, probably because of their brilliant acting, that it got me so riled up in the first place!

Melhor k-drama em anos ✨

Eu vi minha irmã assistindo ontem e me interessei, comecei nessa madrugada e pqp cara, fazia anos que não via um k-drama que fosse tão bom e me prendesse tanto ao ponto de não conseguir para de assistir (perdi até o sono e não dormi até acabar).
Claramente o melhor k-drama em anos para mim (chorei que nem uma condenada).
Todas as atuações foram fantásticas, o que mais me impressionou (principalmente a do Woo Do-hwan)
O roteiro bem feito, personagens cativantes, tudo amarradinho. É aquela série que você nota que foi feita com cuidado e carinho por todos que estavam presentes, todos se entregaram e ofereçam um dos melhores dramas da Coreia.

Obs: Vi pessoas criticando o final, mas precisamos aceitar que histórias tristes também são belas histórias e no final o que importa é concluirmos nossas vontades em vida, pois, a morte é uma realidade para todos.

Seriamente 1000/10, é maravilhoso

Lloré tres océanos pacíficos

Este drama definitivamente se agrega a mis favoritos del año, me encanta el trasfondo de la historia y la manera en que se desarrolla cada personaje. Lloré mucho con los últimos dos capítulos, soy el tipo de persona que se adentra demasiado en la historia y le tomo cariño a los personas, ese final me destruyó pero me gustó. Debo admitir que las escenas de la familia Eo Heung me parecieron aburridas, me hubiera gustado que en lugar de eso nos mostrarán más de los protagonistas. La banda sonora es magestuosa y en general la forma en la que me atrapó este drama hace mucho no lo sentía.

Dark Romance Açucarado

Essa história é sobre um protagonista com daddy issues que usa seu passado traumático como desculpa para justificar um monte de decisões duvidosas. Apesar de ser vendida como uma comédia romântica, a trama é um desfile de tragédias, com humor previsível e o pastelão de sempre. Os personagens até são bem construídos, com dilemas e camadas interessantes, mas o dorama foca mais em consequências do que em soluções.

O protagonista? Um típico bad boy com uma história familiar mirabolante que o leva a fugir de casa. Ele cresce, enriquece, namora uma garota fofa e simples, mas termina com ela porque não consegue lidar com seus próprios sentimentos. A cereja do bolo? Descobre que está com uma doença terminal e decide sequestrar a ex no dia do casamento dela para passar seus últimos dias ao lado dela. (Romântico? Só que não.) Depois de algumas lições de moral de personagens secundários, ele percebe o erro, mas mente para a garota, dizendo que não quer mais ficar com ela, no clássico "deixar ir porque ama demais". Só que, claro, eles acabam voltando rapidinho — nesse ponto, eu quase cochilei no sofá.

E como se não bastasse, o bônus é um triângulo amoroso: o noivo perfeito, mas completamente sem sal, que só está ali para sofrer. E, honestamente, isso fez eu sofrer junto.

Cinco anos atrás, talvez eu tivesse amado esse dorama. Mas hoje? Não consigo engolir a romantização de um sequestro. E ainda por cima, detesto quando uma comédia romântica entrega pura tragédia. Parece que os roteiristas não conseguem decidir qual gênero querem explorar, e o resultado é um tom completamente perdido.

Estou escrevendo a review antes de terminar porque não quero ter a chance de criticar mais! Já sei o final e sei que fica pior.

questo k-drama mi ha lasciato una cicatrice nel cuore, ed è diventato uno dei miei preferiti molto probabilmente, perchè purtroppo mi piacciono le serie con un finale del genere ( come "more than blue: la serie" ). La consiglio nonostante il finale che stranamente mi è piaciuto anche se giustamente ne volevo uno felice, ma sinceramente penso sia meglio così, mi è piaciuta dall'inizio fino alla fine questa serie, è difficile trovare persone ""strane"" come me a cui piacciono anche finali così, ma molto spesso sono quelle che mi rimangono nel cuore. infatti questa è diventata una delle mie serie preferite. Con questo auguro una buona visione a tutti <3 ^^

eu odeio finais tristes, mas alguma coisa me disse que valeria a pena mesmo quando eu abri o primeiro episódio e a primeira cena me avisou. mas eu acho que é exatamente sobre isso, mesmo que termine (porque tudo, um dia passa e termina, não importa se for bom ou ruim) é sobre valer a pena. acho que esse Dorama me fez pensar sobre o que realmente importa quando você descobre que vai morrer e só tem mais 3 meses de vida. o que você faria? tentaria achar seu pai biológico que você nunca conheceu porque tem daddy issues, e sequestrar sua ex namorada que você terminou por que gostava muito dela e tinha medo de machucar, no dia do casamento dela? a vida se tornou boa no final porque ele estava vivo. fazendo o que seu coração pedia. talvez seja isso que faça a vida valer a pena, mesmo que ela termine, viver. vi uma menina dizendo que gostaria de viver uma aventura antes de morrer e eu também. a verdade é que existimos nessa vida, reprimindo o que sempre quisemos fazer um dia e adiando "deveres de casa", para depois morrer em um hospital olhando para um teto branco, sem graça e vazio. o que faria sua vida valer a pena? o que você gostaria de ver antes de morrer? quais relações você tem evitado por medo de se machucar? amo Mr plankton. se tornou meu Dorama favorito, amo a cinematografia que é muito bela, acho que ela mostra a beleza da vida por uma ótica passageira e efêmera já que o personagem principal está prestes a morrer, a atuação dos personagens também é muito boa. e eu amei
