Boring
Nothing spectacular abt this drama, i wonder if there is really a conflict except for the FL being unable to decide which guy to pick. Actors are handsome - though so skinny even for asian taste, but quite common looking faces, i was struggling in the beginning to recognize who's who. Also the identical fashion style doesnt help at all - its so obvious that they were dressed by the same stylist. I'd say, no effort was put into creating the illusion of life, it's all like a big doll's house. A lot of coincidence happen - FL sprains her ankle twice, ML is there to help each time , FL gets caught in the rain two times, of course ML is there again etc etc. If i happen to stumble across something better, i consider droppin it... till then, just fast forwarding.Was this review helpful to you?

if there’s more good option than this drama, you’ll see yourself loose the momentum to finish this dramathese past few weeks, i was into anime, bcs i was either waiting for the airing c/kdrama to get finished. But after getting tired with anime, no more good to watch, i went back to watching c/kdramas.
However… I was really careful on choosing one right now. Bcs I found myself recently loosing the momentum to finish every drama I started last month. Idk why.
But after reading some reviews in the comment about this one, I decided to take risk and watch this.
However, tbh, I ONLY find the EP1 interesting, but as the story goes on I DEFINITELY GET BORED. Probably because I can’t relate? I am not yet on that age to get what these couples trying to portray.
I ACTUALLY SKIPPED MOST PARTS. I tried to hold on watching the story of the main leads, because each couple in the drama has also other story to tell which are definitely way far from the main lead’s story.
However, idk if it’s me or is there anyone on the same page to me, I FIND IT IRRITATING how the MALE LEAD is so inconsistent with his actions. I just don’t like how the script and the his character was written it was so inconsistent.
Sometimes he’s tough, sometimes he’s nice. Sometimes he’s reckless, sometimes he’s considerate. It just confuses me. I feel like ML attitude flactuates — you thought it’s going to somewhere but eventually he’ll be back to the old one. I just find it so cringe.
Especially the stock room office where ML pulled FL inside, like wth — you don’t want to get misunderstood but on the first part of the story, you find it interesting not to explain what happened on that night.
BRUH. I don’t feel like I have so much energy left to finish this. So if you guys have, probably this drama if for you. But definitely NOT for me.

PLOT:
There's no plot. At least it never materialized to what it was setting out to be. A girl gets cheated on by a longterm boyfriend cum fiance only to fall for the "wrong guy" or "bad guy". I suppose their initial connection was strong and it was fun to wait for the leads to get together. However the editing and pace of their progress as a couple was all over the place. The ML has an unexplained obsession and was at times crossing the boundaries. The girl was indecisive and at times felt like she was emotionally cheating on her boyfriend as well. Their relationship dynamics were really lacking. The worst part in the plot are the secondary and tertiary couples which were just not even worth the effort of skipping over. In the second half the story was more focused on them than the main couple.
CAST:
Now here is literally where I cannot rate the drama super low. Liu Xue Yi did a decent job but Yuxi was quite lacking in the acting department. However I appreciate her chemistry with the ML as their interactions never felt awkward.
WHAT WORKS:
-The leads and their chemistry
-Not many misunderstandings after they get together
WHAT SUCKED:
-All supporting casts
-The unsatisfactory ending
OVERALL:
I'll give this one a hard pass unless what you're looking for is just eye candy because the leads were super easy on the eyes.

Fluffy
A fluffy romance story which has a fairly strong female lead trying to makr her own way against fathers and fiances advice. Fiance cheats so now she is trying to find her way without getting tangled up with sexy work boss who seems to be a womaniser.I like how the FL is determined but am sick of all the familiar tropes- drunken FL looked after by boss, multiple falls and saved in the rain scenes, arm grabbing and dictatorial sillyness. There is very little to the plot and its not very exciting. Oh and younger brother with crush on her friend and young woman chasing the boss. I mean how many times are chinese writers going to overuse these themes?
Im fast forwarding just to see what happens but am not engaged by this series.

One Dimensional
Oh where to begin. ML cute and that is about all the good I can say about this show. FL is so one dimensional and boring that I am sorry I wasted my time watching 14 episodes. The thought of going thru 30 makes me cringe. FL needs to seriously go to acting school and the fact that the script is lousy does not help. Every boring cliche cdrama trope is in this show. Secondary characters are pretty boring as well. Nothing can save this one. If you want to watch a boring female lead who has as much charisma as a sack of potatoes then watch this.Was this review helpful to you?
Good ML, everything else is ... meh.
I really tried to finish this one. I tried 2 times. After the 10th ep i fast forwarded it, and after they finally got together... I lost my leftover interest in this drama 🥲I hated the 2nd couple, the chick was really irritating, and FL was also stupid and indecisive, the only consistent one was the ML, but even he can't get me finish this one 🥲

If you're looking for profound/life-changing story then this ain't for you.
Typical urban romance.A straight no none-sense ML and a girl next door FL met one drunken night on bar. A sure way to lead to misunderstanding between them.
Next thing they know, they're working together so they need to set aside their differences. From adversary's, to colleague, to friends, to lovers.
The story itself is a bit draggy, skipped some here and there. Some issues were so mundane and can be easily avoided with a bit of honesty.
FL is the source of most of the issues if not all. At first she was supposedly a woman of power but for the first part of the story, she was indecisive. Almost dropped the show because of this.

Great show
I absolutely loved this show. This is my second time watching this and I am keeping it on my watch list for future watch. Before this, just watched The Princess's Gambit also with Liu Xue Yi ( one of my favorite actors) and that show being such a downer/ depressing, I needed something happy and actually romantic so I am rewatching this show. I love the ML/FL chemistry, really liked the storyline and all the actors. Maybe a little bit too much time spent on the sideline relationships but overall it's a great show! Amazing Chemistry, Kinda Rushed Ending
I started watching this drama only for ZYX but the male lead is quite good. The starting is kinda slow and I skipped ALOT, especially the second couple part.What's unique of this drama?
No overbearing, bossy ml & weak, dependent fl. They both trust each other.
Main couple have sweet chemistry with many hot kisses, no melodrama & trust in each other. The ost is sensual but don't judge a book by it's cover, there are no overboard scenes.

Now abt rushed ending, it ends with proposal. For me, it's kinda unclear if he left for 3yrs or 1 month. There's no after story/extra/special episode but there's one clip on mgtv with their son. They could hv cut some scenes of 2nd ml or 2nd couple and showed the main couple wedding/son.

Mature relationship, great chemistry
The story is simple and fun. I love mature relationship so this drama is my cup of tea. I think the story of the business is not really great tbh, because they are just focus for the love story between the fl and ml and the other's cp. I watch this because the chemistry of fl and ml. Flirty and Ditches Annoying Tropes
So much to love about this one! A strong FL who not only has a good character arc but is also vulnerable, actually uses communication for problems, and usually acts like a mature adult. There were times I would call my daughter in to rewatch a scene because it was so satisfying to see some much hated tropes tossed on their heads.It is ssssuuuuuuper flirty! 😍 And the ML is someone you'll probably be seeing in your dreams after. Even though it is pretty steamy for a C-Drama, it's still around PG content.
I love how this drama addressed some awful relationship issues in a realistic and healthy ways and how differently the leads react to the manipulation tactics.
And the music! I'm now on the hunt for the soundtrack.
