Usually i'm not too fond of robot, alien or zombie story. But this part of VBL series & since I've already seen the other, i just thought to myself, 'Well... Let's complete the series then... ' so here i am finished watching this...Story about Chu Yi Ping (YP) & a robot, or they said AI, name Ever 9. YP is a professor in a university, he is very Introvert person. One day, he dislocated his hand in an accident at school, his uncle gives him Ever 9 as a caretaker, an experimental intelligent robot that his company is secretly testing.
Amaze by how close Ever 9 to human being, the reluctant YP welcome Ever 9 to his house & his life. With the warm & attentive Ever 9, YP finally begin open his heart for Ever 9.
When the story go on, we see not only YP that open his heart, but Ever 9 also think YP more than his master. YP & Ever 9 become more and more important for each other. One day Ever 9 suddenly broken. What will happen to YP...? Can Ever 9 be fixed?
That's overall the story.
Even though a little bit scary (imagine one day AI can be that close to human) but I'm also glad to imagine that they (AI) can have human heart & warmth.
I don’t too like how YP that's easy to open his heart for Ever 9. Don't understand what's so special about him. Or i take what YP's uncle more or less said: 'Is it because Ever 9 not human...?'
Overall this quite interesting story to watch...

Good Concept, Poor execution
I am not being fair for dropping this before watching the entire series so my review may not hold water.my POV: if there is no distinction between human and AI, what made the protagonist accept this AI when he is a recluse and introvert? The set setting is not matching the concept. AI is supposed to be aiding emotionally but so far, what I have seen was the AI being a physical help. The AI doesn't seem to be set with boundaries and has overflowing emotions - more than the human. The concept hooked me but lost me when I didn't see the execution matching the idea. I might have a preconceived notion of an AI that is clouding my judgment, so I may not be being fair.

Short but cute!
Really enjoyed this series although the episodes were a little shorter than I like. The main couple were so cute and lovely. There was a little heat but none that was NSFW. The concept of the story was one that I hadn’t actually watched before either so I was pleasantly surprised by this. Overall a sweet and cute series! Would definitely rewatch at some point in the future. Was this review helpful to you?
Boring
Very cringed. Their chemistry looked so fake. The beginning was interesting, then went down hill as they continued to live together. Most of the scenes were just them in the house, very boring. The ML just suddenly went crazy falling in love with the AI. Like...why? I see no chemistry. Seems to me like ML has never met anyone who would cook clean for him that's why he fell in love so quick with the AI. Don't waste your time with this drama. Was this review helpful to you?
Learning process for human and robot
This was a beautiful drama, i watched it in one sitting. It's all about the learning process for human and robot. And the strongest and most important feeling in the world, love. The last episode almost broke me...
The music and visuals were very beautiful.
The acting and chemistry of the leads was great.
There are little eastereggs after the episode ends, i always like that.
Definatly worth the watch!

Reviews all over the map. i like it!
So enjoyed this series the more I watched it and find my self going back to it like comfort food. Is it briliant?hell no. Is it lovely, you bet. It's a gem. Enjoy their odd chemistry and the premise. Just was told I need more characters! Oy!It could have been deeper but this wasnt Will Smith doing an Asimov rip off about robots like in I Robot (which Asimov would have hated that film). This actually is closer to his vision.

Do you feel anything?
This is such a weird concept, but this one and the sequel, were both done really well. I can’t lie. I think the sequel is better but this one’s still good and I think it’s definitely worth watching. I would give it a 7.6 or a 7.5 out of 10. Y'all, know the drill, what I like, what I didn’t like, and then an overview, and then we’re done.OK, I think I am just really obsessed with the robot trope. Because I watched the sequel first, cause I didn’t know they were the same thing, and that one was really good and I think I just really like the robot thing and I don’t know why but yeah. I think of the setup of the show made this show and the other one make more sense and it just feels very weird and dystopian. I think that’s 100% the vibe of the show and I think that the setup was phenomenal. I also like the acting I think they had this weird kind of charm to it. The robot guy was really good acting and the other guy was still good but not as good and he kinda had this awkward vibe and he played that role really well. I think they had pretty good chemistry, but it had that weird awkward charm to it, that really brought this show to life. Also, I think I definitely should’ve watched this one first. I think the whole thing with him feeling actual emotions and not just the emotion he was programmed was genuinely phenomenal and I think that was so interesting to think about and how something that doesn’t really exist can break out of what it is set to do to do. Like the more you feed it information the more it adapts which is kind of like a test to our world and the rise of AI, but I won’t get into that but yeah, definitely really interesting and seeing it in my BL for that of course makes me a lot better, but I really enjoyed it. the fact that the robot was intelligent enough to feel emotions, but not intelligent enough to understand why low-key freaked me out. I think a lot of our emotions we don’t understand why we have them, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that we have them.
What I didn’t like, I think this one was kind of boring. I just think the other one was objectively more fun and had better characters. The second thing I didn’t like was the fucking uncle like I know he set them up in the first place, but oh my God, that guy is so fucking annoying. Yeah, there wasn’t a lot of plot in this and it was just like Oh this happened and now we’re not gonna do anything to further our romance or the plot for like three episodes and I’m like bro what? So a lot of wasted potential there. I think that they could’ve made this show a couple of episodes longer and put a little more plot in here because I feel like I was missing parts of it which I did not really enjoy. This one is way more heavy on like the impact of robots and just robots in general and their actual love story and the other one is just like oh we’re in love always and oh my butler is a robot like I like the other one better and this one is way more heavy on robots and stuff and I think they could’ve done more with the love story aspect.
Good setup. ”Robots aren’t supposed to feel shame he’s like embarrassed so it’s just like very scary because I’m assuming the robots in this feed off what they see other people doing but he hasn’t even been outside the factory that long and so he doesn’t quite know what shame is, but he’s feeling very creepy.” There was a lady who programmed him to feel actual human emotions without the knowledge of the uncle was a g. “This feels like it was made in 2015, I can't really explain it. He gets more and more human. Imagine ur an AI and the one thing you are scared of is lightning and you dont even know why. That would freak me out.” The plot, started to slow down and not a lot was happening, wise or plot-wise. Pretty OK ending.
I think that this and the other one is low-key really cute too. So just give it a shot. Okay bye!

Human's are limited but our possibilities are endless
Rated ~ 7 ~ 28.5/50 ~ 5.7RPG Scene ~ Mage in the crumbling castle with a battle axe armed robot boyfriend ~
I actually kind of enjoyed it. I loved the A.I film and Bicentennial Man growing up so robot love stories don't bother me lol I would have given it a 6 generally, as it was a casual watch, a little cliche but cute. It was an ok watch, at first.
But the last episode got to me, because I got the old Momento Mori feeling. A friend of mine had an asthma attack at a halloween party and died. She was 23. I have not celebrated Halloween since. Human's are limited. You aren't guaranteed tomorrow, and if you knew you were dying, what would you do for your loved ones? Terminally ill people often prepare mementos for their family.
That's how I felt watching the final episodes. Although it gets rounded out at the end not to leave you too depressed, it's a story teller's way of facing human mortality through a fluffy, cute story of a robot falling in love.
And although the 7 year gap is cliched and kind of cruel in this plot, it also makes sense because the uncle admits to himself that he'd make the same decision. He wanted his nephew to be with a real person and ultimately was just forced to give in because Chu won't move on with his life, and Ever 9 gave the ultimatum to either let him keep his memories or destroy him so, after 7 years, with neither letting go, what was he do?
Overall I rate it a 7. I probably wont be rewatching it but still enjoyed it for what it was.

Very Fluffy, with some existential thoughts.
It was very fluffy, not much spice beyond some kisses, sharing a bed, some delusions to smexy times, and the fight for ML to keep Ever 9.There was an interesting discussion held, mainly between ML and the Uncle, about androids being considered human-ish with wants and desires or just toys to be changed out, upgrades, and discarded as needed.
I've always been iffy about robot/android based shows, like Anti Reset, but I do think they did a good job of walking that very thin line of possible, near future reality and BL-based fantasy.

You will need a huge suspension of disbelief...
...as Coleridge said. Nothing makes sense in this drama, starting from Ever 9.An AI created to treat emotional issues that has more emotional issues than the human he's supposed to help. Please tell me that I missed something or I missunderstood something because this doesn't make any sense.
It's the classical fast-paced BL, so I didn't expect many explanations or a slow-burning story, but the cold-hearted main lead fell in love without much esitation with this robot and it doesn't make any sense to me. May it happened because Ever 9 kissed him straight away without any apparent reason? No sense.

interesting concept
This series has an interesting concept. The actors were good. The story went a little slow for me. The ending was sad and happy. I thought too much time passed and he should have moved on. But I guess he was an introvert and had trouble meeting people. He just kept thinking about his robot and wouldn’t let him go. Glad he was happy in the end.Overall, the series is interesting enough to give it a watch. This concept was very interesting. If this was a possibility in real life, I’d order one today.

A Riveting Dive into the BL Genre
The series, "Anti Reset", is a must-see for BL fans and everyone who likes stories that mix romance and science fiction. It stands out for its uniqueness and emotional depth. It's a new and interesting addition to the BL genre, with a distinct blend of sci-fi and romance. The series' interesting plot, well-developed characters, and outstanding performances make it worth seeing. While there are some small shortcomings, the series successfully tells a touching and stimulating story that connects with viewers. I give it an overall score of 8 out of 10.Was this review helpful to you?
