We need a season 2
Great story, production and cinematography in general. The actors did a great job at depicting the characters well. I will also opt to buy the comic as well due to their great performance.We need a season 2 to follow with their story during and most importantly after ULS. They have great potential to show all the intricacies of establishing a gay relationship in a small town while battling with your own internal issues. To me the transition from TTOF to ULS makes perfect sense for DongHee's character because not being accepted by your family at that age messes you up in many different ways inside that some choices might not make sense to others but it will make sense to the abused queer person. That said, a second season could flesh out the story a bit better to depict the whole change of emotions the characters go through the years.

Great supplementary spin-off to ULS
You can feel the raw emotion almost immediately. Acting is not the best I've ever seen and there is some cheese but the EMOTION is dripping and the tension is palpable. The sexual chemistry between the two are top notch. There is indeed an intimate scene (more than one actually... we have been BLESSED) and they will leave you breathlessly clutching your heart.You do not need to watch Unintentional Love Story to watch this but I do recommend watching ULS afterwards to help continue the story along (with the added treat of the main couple as well). If you're like me and feel this was not enough, lets rally up and PETITION for a part 2 shall we?

PORTRAYS REALITY OF LOVING WITH A SAME GENDER
The Story was not something new for me, two guys that is confused and ended up falling in love with each other since child hood or young days, but this show presented it in a different way that it was so beautiful, it feels like a Korean Version of Your Name Engraved Herein , if you knew that show .. I got the same feelingI just really felt bad that the characters have to choose to run away from what they were feeling becuase it was not common and not accepted during those years even more than it was in some parts or ways being accepted this present years.
It feels like too short but at the same time it felt enough, I was not okay with the ending that they only have shown the two of the lead characters met again and probably continue their love, but at the same time It was okay for me that it ended up like that. The last scene was like the director have given us the choice of how or what we wanted to think what happened after they met when it was shown .. it was a good idea
I felt really sad about their story, i really hope they will be able to continue their love.
I have nothing else to say about the acting specially Won Tae Min .. I have seen him in quite some dramas, he always does great, be it a thug , a collector and about the kissing scene ! I was really glad about it, it felt real.
All in all, even the story was common for me , but I am again for another time impressed about how this drama or movie made .. it was beautiful and heart warming and above all , it presented what really happens in real life for those who falls in love with their same gender

A MASTERPIECE
A masterpiece indeed, To be honest I'm kinda wanted more interaction about their ending, I felt being left behind by those scene, though their smile is an example of assurance that they ended up being together until to the continuation of their love story in "UNINTENTIONAL LOVE STORY", and also now I understand why they keep bickering each other, and the tatto Ho tae's has leave a remarkable back story, The Screenwriter has no idea that he created that we can call a “Masterpice", a bonus spoiler about the kissing scene they ate it, I felt that kiss was genuine, butterfly in my stomach in short.Was this review helpful to you?

Amazing, emotional and romantic movie
I loved watching ULS when it came out, so I was really excited for this. It took a few months to get to international audiences but we finally got it. The movie was emotional and romantic and very well acted, the actors do an amazing job and have overflowing chemistry! The kisses were super hot.The story in itself was nothing groundbreaking, childhood friends to lovers but very well written and directed. I was expecting the ending to be sad since this is a prequel and they're not together yet in ULS and while the ending was sad, it wasn't as sad as I thought it would be, more bittersweet than sad.The ending was really well written and didn't break continuity with ULS, but I wish we would get a sequel about them after ULS. I wanna see them in their happy dating era pls.

amazing chemistry, story n cinematography (yearning)
ngl this series made me kicking my feet n feel butterflies in my stomach. its been a long time since i watch bl that made me feel this way. i love donghee’s character omg the yearning… i cried. n hotae too my fluffball, hes just so straightforward and love his hyung so much. the confusion, the doubts, the yearning, the trembling lips while kissing goddamnit it was insane. i just hope they can be in another series or just continue with season 2 or smtg. cant get enough of them honestly, PLEASE WATCH THIS GUYSS PLSWas this review helpful to you?
So Disappointed
You had a great story line but you didn't execute it well... Like seriously because we love Bl doesn't mean you can just act whatever you like. What type of ending is that? I just feel like I wasted my time, the beginning was okay but the ending seems like something went wrong because there was no message portrayed to us viewers. Não consegui associar este drama com o Unintentional Love Story em momento algum para ser bem sincera. Só lembrei que era um spinoff quando vim dar o check no MDL kkkkkkkk Lá ele ainda estava estudando e aqui também, enfim...
Sobre o drama em si, sofri com os dois, com a hesitação do Dong Hui por causa da mãe do Ho Tae, e sofri pela ansia e desejo do Ho Tae em vivenciar estes sentimentos.
O acidente do Ho Tae me deixou muito irritada, não gostei de que ele tenha se machucado e não gostei também da atitude do Dong Hui ir embora como foi, depois visitá-lo as escondidas, para então retornar anos depois..

Another best KBL you should watch
Dibandingkan drama utama mereka Unintentional Love Story, chemistry mereka disini lebih diperlihatkan.Emosi yang muncul diantara para aktor dan disandingkan dengan OST yang menyentuh membuat penonton dapat merasakan secara tidak langsung emosi yang dituangkan didalamnya.
Disini Han Dowoo benar-benar terlihat sangat manis dan cantik tanpa mengurangi ketampanannya, berbeda dengan saat di ULS dimana dia terlihat sedikit tua.
Director membawakan kisah singkat mereka ini dengan sangat baik.
Durasi yang lumayan sedikit, namun pesan dan isi cerita dapat disampaikan dengan baik.
