Truly wholesome captivating BL with everything in it!

Well, I just finished this series, and indeed, it grew upon me. At first I wasn't too sure whether I would like it. New life in another world, many comedic elements and in the beginning the other MC seemed a bit stoic.

However, I was glad I stayed, and the more I watched it, the more this series grew unto me. To see Suriya slowly get out of his shell, to see Apo/Phopthorn grow to handle his part with some setback but growing to be the strong center was truly amazing to watch. What I really liked was, beside the many breathtaking sets, the truly wonderful music.

The drama with the various family members was interesting and keeping me wanting to "know what happens next" without ever getting into too dark areas where you might have really evil parents, as is in some other series.

And compared to the abysmal handling of divine powers in "My Little Ghost", this showed how to make proper use of Divine Intervention! At the end we got one of the most beautiful weddings and a truly happy end for everyone who deserved one. And a quick ride to hell for the one who didn't. *waves sarcastically goodbye*

The Apu/Phopthorn actor was surely the highlight of the series. A bit out of the usual looks, he really was the star of the series and managed to play both characters very convincing and carried the show through many moments. Not a moment of boredom, so I can easily rate it a fully recommended:

Honestly, what’s not to love about this series? It’s a lighthearted romantic comedy that’s fun, engaging, and surprisingly deep on an emotional level. The unlucky Phopthorn gets into a serious accident and wakes up in the body of the arrogant, snobbish Apo Yue, heir to a billion-dollar empire who happens to be engaged to Suriya Suriyadechakorn, an aristocrat from a luxury hotel dynasty with the unusual ability to read minds. That mind-reading twist adds something fresh and unique to the story. I’ll admit, I was worried it might be used in a manipulative or invasive way against Phopthorn, but instead it became something that brought him and Suriya closer together, strengthening their bond.

The cast as a whole is excellent, but Park Anantadej and Big Thanakorn completely steal the spotlight whenever they’re on screen. Park’s Phopthorn, with his sweet, gentle nature and kind personality, wins over everyone around him. On top of that, his comedic timing is spot-on. Big, as Suriya, nails the aristocratic posture and sharp tongue, yet surprises with a performance that’s unexpectedly tender, warm, and affectionate. The chemistry between the two really caught me off guard. It’s sweet, sexy, and genuinely believable, which makes both the characters and their romance feel authentic.

Special mention also goes to Poppy, Lookwa, and Parn, as well as the standout guest appearances from Keng and Namping.

Worth the wait to binge watch it all!

I was so tempted into starting this one when it was airing! But! I knew that once I started it, it would be absolutely strenuous to have to wait for the next episode to be out! I've got to say it was absolutely worth the wait!

Big and park delivers a little gem with this one! Fell so hard and so bad for this beauty ! Big is sooo big and awesome in his suit! He's a feast for the eyes!
His gentleness when handling Park is out of this world!

The connection & chemistry between them is astounding!

Loved it all! The acting, the plot and the pace was beautifully plan to deliver a little masterpiece right into my waiting lap!

Loved it so much that I had to do a review for it! I recommend it to all the romantics out there!

THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! KYAAAAAAA I REPEAT THAT SO FXXXING BEAUTIFUL ?????

The only thing i hate about this drama is waiting for it every week😭😭😭. It started beautifully and ending beautifully. I did find ya's dad annoying but I'm happy ya and janjak didn't follow him and told their lovers about their mind reading powers while... the father didn't do it till the end. Poor lady she never knew her husband knew how she left but chose to ignore it and she suffered alone.
I really loved park🤭🤭Especially as real apo sadly we didn’t get much of that diva. Also Tailah and Janjak ❤️❤️❤️ my shaylas🥺🥺🥺 i was like aww a cute couple tailah is definitely the bottom until we saw tailah top😳 n definitely didn't hate it🤭🤭 if u actually did notice he was top from the start. I just forgot i was wondering like he's a top in thorn's world how come he switched here. He didn't 🍻😌😌 and it made total sense. Like this is my theory. Apo who lives in Thorn's body got together with his friend Fa cz in the last episode he scolds thorn for having that food every week which means real apo still went to gave dinner with Fa.. so he might be his partner...
Or... thorn was actually hit by the hotel owner (big's back from ep 1) and he took him to the hospital and what happened here happens there they fell in love with each other but from different worlds.. well we'll never know🤣🤣 but atleast we know apo and thorn both got happy ending. Surya married someone he loved. Ashin got his brother. Janjak was finally successful in seducing tailah. Ya's mother found love in her marriage and apo's parents got a son who doesn't cause problems🤣🤣 and obviously the dog/shaman got to repay his debt to thorn for the food🤣🤣 that was soo unexpected and a reasonable explanation for the soul switch.

Feel-good vibes

This was such a nice feel-good drama. There are some hilarious moments in it which really stood out to me as well - Master Labubu/Delulu and his “rituals”, so many moments with Poppy as Butler Francois and his funny antics, to name a few. Poppy always manages to make his characters stand out and shine with his acting!

This is the kind of drama where the misunderstandings/conflicts gets resolved quickly without being dragged out for too long. Both the main couple as well as the second couple are easy to root for.

I am giving it 10 stars for the sheer feel-good aspect of this. Does that mean this drama is perfect? Certainly not. But it is definitely going on my comfort watch list. High rewatch value for me as well.

Bad start

The series has just begun, but there are already two big issues:
1/ Apo has disappeared, and the two main characters couldn’t care less. Where is he??
2/ Suriya keeps insisting on this marriage, even though he doesn’t love Apo, doesn’t need money, and his own mother is against it. Why??

Also, it’s supposed to be a comedy, but it’s never funny. The spy character is ridiculous. As for the plot, once the setup is done… well, there’s not much left! We just spent an entire episode talking about stolen belongings in a luxury hotel. Pretty thin!

A lot of scenes feel very formulaic—it’s like watching GMMTV… And to top it off, there’s zero chemistry between the two leads. I don’t buy it for a second.

Writing this, I’m realizing I’ll probably drop the show. One last chance with the next episode!

Hilarious and Absolutely amazing

Only two episodes in, and I am already invested. These two are unhinged, and I love it. The butler who was sent to spy on them by Suriya's mom is absolutely hilarious and totally us as shippers. He went from going there to investigate to being a stan for a relationship that should be fake. But this is BL, we as experienced shippers know that's not gonna last long.

I am in awe of the production and the quality of the scenes, the chemistry between the actors, and the storyline. I've been searching for a reincarnation, and this is it. I can't wait for the remaining episodes to come out. I'm rooting for Apo and Suriya

Um BL até que decente

Eu adoro essa ideia de cair em outro mundo ou reencarnar em uma história que já existia; só por isso a série já me conquistou logo de cara. Confesso que os dois primeiros episódios foram meio devagar, meio mornos, mas depois que a história começou a andar, foi melhorando a cada capítulo. Só que o final acabou me decepcionando um pouco. Não foi um desastre total, mas dava pra sentir que a escrita ali ficou meio preguiçosa, faltou aquele cuidado que poderia ter deixado o desfecho mais marcante.

A história começa quando Phopthorn sofre um acidente e acorda no corpo de Apo, que é totalmente o oposto dele. É nesse momento que ele conhece Suryia, o cara com quem ele estava prestes a se casar e que acaba sendo fundamental pra ajudá-lo a se transformar no verdadeiro Apo. Os primeiros episódios, mostrando todo o processo de adaptação do Phopthorn ao novo corpo e à nova vida, são ótimos, cheios de momentos divertidos e situações que me fizeram rir bastante. Dá pra sentir bem o esforço dele tentando se encaixar nesse outro mundo, e isso torna a introdução da série interessante.

A dinâmica da família do Suryia até que funciona, mas só até certo ponto. A mãe é aquele tipo de vilã exagerada, quase caricata, manipuladora e cheia de regras absurdas, sempre tentando controlar tudo e todos ao redor. A série parece querer que sintamos pena dela no final, mas comigo isso não funcionou, não rolou nenhuma empatia. O pai até começa sendo mais compreensivo, mas depois que toda a confusão com o Apo acontece, ele perde totalmente a simpatia que tinha pelo filho e passa a ser frio, rígido e irritante. No fim das contas, eu parei de me importar com os dramas da família, porque nem a mãe malvada nem o pai carrancudo tiveram um desenvolvimento que fizesse sentido ou que me conquistasse, e isso acabou deixando essa parte da história meio vazia.

Outra coisa que me deixou meio confusa foi que não ficou muito claro se o Apo realmente estava assumindo a identidade do Thorn no outro mundo ou se estava em algum tipo de plano espiritual. Quando ele apareceu na mente do Thorn, ele falou que estava em um lugar que realmente se encaixava e onde se sentia em casa, mas que lugar era esse, afinal? Algumas cenas pareceram enrolação, só preenchendo tempo, e eu senti que dava pra ter usado isso pra explorar mais o verdadeiro Apo, mostrar quem ele realmente é. No fim, ficou evidente que ele não era só aquele rico esnobe e mimado; dava pra perceber que ele tinha uma história, motivos por trás de tudo, e eu queria entender melhor seus pensamentos e sentimentos. Isso teria dado muito mais profundidade ao personagem, mas infelizmente a série não desenvolveu essa parte direito.

Uma das coisas que eu amei nessa série foi a forma como eles exploraram a leitura de mentes. O lance do objeto físico que bloqueia a telepatia é genial e funciona dentro da história, faz todo sentido. O que me deixou curiosa é que eles não deram muito contexto sobre esse poder da família, tipo, por que eles têm essa habilidade, se existem regras específicas pra usar ou se há outros tipos de poderes nesse universo. Ter detalhado um pouco mais isso teria deixado a trama ainda mais interessante e ajudado a dar uma sensação de mundo mais completo e consistente.

O casal secundário não me conquistou completamente. Não é que eu tenha odiado, até rolou de simpatizar com eles em algumas cenas, mas, no geral, ficaram só no “ok, tá valendo”. Agora, uma coisa que realmente me chamou atenção foi como eles brincaram com a iluminação em certos momentos. Eles praticamente escureciam todo o cenário para destacar apenas o personagem cuja mente Suryia estava lendo, e isso criava um efeito visual incrível, além de ajudar a sentir a intensidade daquela cena. Achei essa escolha genial, bem diferente do que costumamos ver. Fiquei com vontade de ver mais dessa técnica sendo usada, porque realmente acrescentava muito à atmosfera e poderia ter dado mais presença ao casal secundário também.

No fim das contas, sinto que a série não conseguiu me prender completamente, faltou aquele algo a mais que fizesse a história realmente memorável, principalmente na reta final. Mesmo assim, de forma geral, foi uma experiência legal, com momentos divertidos e várias coisas que eu curti de verdade, apesar de algumas partes terem deixado a desejar. Não me arrependo de ter assistido, mas dava pra ter aproveitado melhor certas ideias e desenvolvido melhor alguns personagens, o que teria deixado tudo muito mais marcante e envolvente.

E pra terminar, preciso fazer uma menção honrosa pro Poppy, o François. Eu realmente amo o Poppy e a forma como ele consegue transformar seus personagens em figuras super engraçadas e cheias de personalidade. O François é daquele tipo que te faz rir sozinho, mesmo sem querer, e consegue iluminar qualquer cena que aparece. Sem dúvidas, ele se tornou meu personagem favorito da série, roubando totalmente a atenção sempre que surge na tela. Um verdadeiro reizinho <3

Les pensées sont les mots qu'on s'interdit souvent de prononcer...

Les couples sont mignons, mais l'excitation de Me and Who ne m'a pas tenu autant que je l'imaginais. Plutôt que d'être un rendez-vous incontournable le vendredi soir, c'est devenu un grignotage du dimanche après-midi.

Suriya (Big Thanakorn Kuljarassombat) et Apo (Park Anantadej Sodsee) sont un couple sympathique. À l'aise avec l'un et l'autre, Big et Park dégagent un joli mélange d'insouciance, d'ordinaire, d'amour et une touche sexy. Avec des personnages plus matures que leur projet précédent, le duo se révèle plus convaincant, même si l'espièglerie aurait mérité plus de place.

Tailah (Jeng Chotipat Suthadsanasoung) et Janjak (Pan Bhumintr Saingam) sont mon couple chouchou. Un amusant mélange d'absurde, de taquinerie et de pensées crues que l'autre entend, créant des moments à la fois gênants et touchants. Drôles, mignons et attachants, ils ont été mon véritable coup de cœur.

En revanche, l'histoire n'a pas su me captiver autour que je l'espérais. Le concept était prometteur, mais il n'a jamais atteint son plein potentiel. L'intrigue m'a rappelé La Pluie, où la perte de l'audition lors des pluies était présentée comme une fatalité, mais sans conséquences réelles. Ici, le fait que Suriya puisse lire les pensées d'Apo ne génère pas de véritable enjeu, se limitant à quelques moments amusants. J'en attendais davantage, d'autant plus que nos pensées sont nos jardins secrets. Un espace intime dans lequel quelqu'un d'autre accède soudainement. Pour cette raison, l'histoire m'a légèrement déçue, malgré la sympathie des couples.

Le format est idéal, tant sur la durée que sur le nombre d'épisodes. L'histoire est rythmée et dynamique, tout en évitant de s'encombrer de longueurs indigestes. Cependant, la partie professionnelle me semble maladroite et inutile, créant un litige pas si menaçant. J'ai hésité un moment sur ma note. J'aurais plaisir à revoir les scènes de Tailah et Janjak, mais pas le reste, aussi sympathique que soient Suriya et Apo.

En bref, Me and Who est une romance mignonne qui ne connaît pas de réelles tensions, préférant une ambiance légère et amusante avec deux couples attachants.

ENGRAÇADO E COM UM ÓTIMO COMEÇO, MAS OS EPISÓDIOS FINAIS FORAM FORÇADOS E SEM LÓGICA

Eu ri tanto mais tanto nos primeiros episódios, eles foram muito bons e deram o tom para a série, mas depois os problemas vieram para mim.

PONTOS POSITIVOS (o que eu gostei):

- Essa é uma série de comédia e a primeira metade do projeto faz isso muito bem
- A química entre os protagonistas é excelente
- Um detalhe pequeno mas que faz diferença para mim foi terem deixado os sons de quando eles se beijam, isso é muito importante para manter o tom da cena, é muito melhor do que quando só colocam uma música por cima
- O mordomo foi excepcional e merecia mais tempo de tela
- Também queria ter visto mais do Torphong pois eu gostei muito dele
- Eu estava nas trincheiras pelo pai do Suriya porque ele é um homem de negócios que entende como as coisas funcionam, pulso firme é necessário e o coração mole do Suriya não permite isso. Não vejo ele como um bom líder e empresário. Não ser capaz de encontrar uma saída e apenas desistir de algo por um motivo emocional não é o caminho certo e nem o esperado de um chefe.

PONTOS NEGATIVOS (o que eu não gostei):

- Como eu disse anteriormente a comédia é muito boa, mas quando estava fora dos protagonistas parecia bem forçado e bobo em alguns momentos
- No episódio do noivado eu não senti confiança quando o falso Apo tomou a decisão de não fugir com o Tailah e ficar com o Suriya. Mesmo que ele não o amasse os motivos que ele deu para o Tailah foram ridículos
- Essa série obviamente teve um baixo orçamento, vemos isso pelo elenco de apoio escolhido. Alguns funcionavam e outros não. A maioria daqueles que aparecem só as vezes eram bem ruins e o roteiro não ajudava muito. O mestre era bem cafona e as empregadas da casa do Apo não eram lá muito agradáveis.
- A questão do Phopthorn ser órfão foi interessante, mas ele usava tanto seus bons sentimentos e bondade que era excessivo e é como eu sempre digo, nenhum excesso é bom
- Em consequência do tópico acima temos as decisões impulsivas e de coração mole do Suriya que me fez ficar ao lado do pai dele, porque pelo amor de Deus, você é um empresário, se você não comprar aquele orfanato alguém vai comprar, é só arrumar um outro lugar para as crianças, que dramalhão a troco de nada e como consequência tomou uma decisão burra. Eu também ficaria irritada se meu filho parasse de pensar coerentemente por influência de outra pessoa
- E temos os 2 episódios finais que focaram no poder do amor verdadeiro (me imagine revirando os olhos). Cada um tem uma visão da vida, amar ou não amar alguém é uma decisão de cada um, o importante é deixar as coisas claras. Eu digo, o pai do Suriya foi muito injustiçado.

Essa é uma boa série para se divertir, mas perde força no final para mim.

Os protagonistas fizeram um ótimo trabalho e me vejo reassistindo as melhores partes do relacionamento deles.
