A Quirky, Ghost-Filled Ride Through Family, Growth, and Property Deals
Imagine a world where a spoiled, rich kid named Home—who thinks the universe revolves around him—suddenly finds out his grandpa has left him properties. He wants to sell all of them and get it done with it, but there is a problem. All of them are haunted so no one is willing to buy. That's where he needs the help of Peach who can see ghosts and is scared of them. The Characters:
Home: Oh boy, Home starts as a classic spoiled rich brat. He’s your typical "I-don’t-need-to-care-about-anyone-because-I’m-rich" kind of guy. He has a short temper, an inflated ego, and an unfiltered sense of entitlement. But... when his life goes into freefall, especially after he gets involved with the family’s dark secrets, Home has a chance to transform into someone who actually cares about the world around him. It’s like watching a bratty caterpillar slowly evolve into a butterfly (well, a less bratty butterfly). His journey is hilarious, but it’s also filled with emotional depth as he learns that maybe, just maybe, he’s not the center of the universe.
Peach and Pang (Siblings): Ah, Peach and Pang—two characters who could not be more different in their approach to life, but who totally make sense as siblings. Peach is cool, calm, and collected (most of the time), while Pang is... well, not. Pang is the comedic, chaotic sibling who keeps things lively, whether she’s trolling her brother, stealing the spotlight in random moments, or making everyone laugh with her outrageous antics. They’re the kind of siblings who might drive each other crazy, but you know they’d die for each other in a heartbeat. Peach, the slightly more grounded one, is probably the only person who keeps Home from going full diva in every scene. And Pang? Well, she’s the one who will throw a fit if you don’t let her have her moment, but her wit and charm make her a standout.
Kan: Oh, Kan, the level-headed one who always seems to have her life in control—until she’s dragged into Home’s mess. Her role as a lawyer for the family takes her down an unexpected path where she has to balance the stress of dealing with family drama and ghosts (not the literal kind, but the emotional kind). Kan is a boss with a heart of gold. Her interactions with Home are hilarious, as she’s basically the only one who can keep him in check—most of the time. But underneath that composed exterior, she’s got some unresolved pain, which only deepens as the show goes on. And hey, she’s definitely not the one you want to mess with—Kan is the queen of getting things done, whether it’s resolving ghost issues or dealing with her own demons.
Suradech: A man of few words and even fewer visible emotions, Suradech is a bodyguard who seems like he’s just there to do his job. He might not talk a lot, but when he does, it’s usually profound or hilariously deadpan. He's the kind of guy who will quietly save your life and then act like it was no big deal.
Gramps: He didn't exactly have many scenes, yet he was the MVP of the show. The amount of times he had to send Home's ass back to his body, even death couldn't free him of taking care of this kid! And if my funeral is not like this man's I don't want it. Dancing in the cemetery? seems right!
The Quirky Supernatural Stuff: So, the ghosts in Peaceful Property aren’t just there to jump out from behind doors and scream “boo” (although, I would have been very okay with that too). These spirits represent unfinished business, and each one gives the living characters a chance to reflect on their own emotional baggage. These ghosts are far more like emotional mirrors than traditional scary apparitions.
Each ghost’s storyline is tied to the personal growth of our main characters, as they each deal with their own literal and figurative ghosts. One minute, Home is arguing with his ghosts (literally) about family issues, and the next minute he’s crying over his real ghosts—those deep-seated feelings of inadequacy and guilt he’s trying to outrun.
The ghosts themselves are often quirky or bizarre. You have some who are tragic, others who are mischievous, and even a few that will leave you wondering if they’re really ghosts or just overly dramatic spirits. The mix of lighthearted supernatural antics with the more serious ghostly business makes for a fun viewing experience, where you get to laugh, cry, and occasionally question your life choices (because let’s be real, you never know when you might find yourself haunted by a dancing ghost).
The Family Drama: The central theme of the show is family—and I’m not just talking about blood relations. It’s about finding people you can trust, even if you’re stuck with a dysfunctional bunch of quirky individuals (looking at you, Home). The show explores how your relationships with others shape who you are and how you deal with your own ghosts (pun intended). Whether it's the wacky sibling bond between Peach and Pang, or the slowly developing friendship between Home and Kan, these relationships are as essential to the plot as the supernatural elements.
The family dynamics are sometimes messy, sometimes funny, and sometimes incredibly touching. But at the core of it all, Peaceful Property shows that no matter how messed up things get, you have people around you who are there for you—even if they’re also getting dragged into ghost-related shenanigans along the way.
The Comedy & Drama Combo: The show balances out the dark themes of betrayal, guilt, and redemption with enough comedy to make you laugh until your stomach hurts. The quirkiness of the characters, the offbeat humor, and the often absurd situations they get into (like cooking in a hospital to save a soul or pretending to be pregnant to trick the bad guys) keep the mood light, even when the ghostly events get a little too intense.( Nothing got intense in the show honestly!)
The comedy feels organic because the characters themselves are so over-the-top, yet their personal struggles are grounded in real emotions. Home’s spoiled brat attitude, for example, might seem off-putting at first, but as he grows and learns more about the world outside his bubble, his character becomes someone you can root for—especially when he’s making ridiculous faces during emotional moments.
The show also plays with the concept of destiny, karma, and fate in quirky ways. The characters believe that everything happens for a reason, and while they don’t always understand the reasoning behind it, they learn to accept that this weird supernatural stuff is just part of their growth. Peaceful Property does a great job of marrying fate with absurdity—turning seemingly serious ghost problems into the source of slapstick comedy.
The Power of Friendship & Group Dynamics
One of the absolute highlights of Peaceful Property is the incredible group chemistry. Every moment of their friendship felt natural, chaotic, and deeply emotional all at once. The way they bicker, support each other, and get tangled up in ghost-related nonsense makes their bond feel so authentic. Whether it's the hilarious sibling rivalry between Peach and Pang, the way Kan keeps Home grounded, or Suradech’s quiet yet powerful presence in the group, each character brings something unique.
The friendships in this drama aren’t just about fun and games—they’re about growth. Home, in particular, starts as a lone, self-absorbed rich kid, but through his interactions with this group, he learns the true meaning of trust and family. Watching them come together, whether it’s for supernatural adventures or just making sure Home doesn’t embarrass himself (again), was one of the most satisfying aspects of the show.
There’s something so heartwarming about seeing characters who start as misfits or reluctant allies turn into a found family. Their group moments—whether chaotic, emotional, or completely absurd—were easily some of my favorites. If you love dramas where friendships feel real and evolve over time, Peaceful Property delivers that in the best way possible!
Final Thoughts:
At the end of the day, Peaceful Property is a weird, wonderful ride that shows how personal growth and healing can happen in the most unlikely of ways. It’s quirky, emotional, and unapologetically silly when it needs to be. Home, who starts off as a rich brat, ends up learning the true meaning of family, love, and redemption—along with dealing with his very own ghosts.
The chemistry between all the characters makes it so easy to love them. They each bring something unique to the table, whether it's Peach and Pang’s sibling dynamics, Kan’s powerful, no-nonsense attitude, or Home’s journey from brat to someone you can rely on. The balance of humor and heart, the exploration of ghostly and emotional journeys, and the deeply flawed, endearing characters make Peaceful Property a binge-worthy treasure.
It’s a show that’ll make you laugh, cry, and maybe even dance along to some ghostly tunes. It’s your quirky trash from heaven, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Compelling Story, So-so Acting
You can trust Thailand to give you good quality spooky/humour drama. I can say that this drama is worth to watch even for someone who doesn't like ghost stories (like me). The production/properties and bgm definitely great to building up the spooky tension. However, i think the acting department needs some improvement to do to convincing the watcher even more. There were times when i already immersed in the story and the stiff acting catapults me back to reality. Was this review helpful to you?
To B(L) or not to B(L), that is the question
Peaceful Property is honestly the best BL that GMMTV has produced this year... and it isn't even a BL.I genuinely thought this was an enemies-to-lovers slow burn for 3 complete episodes. Mind you, it wasn't anything revealed onscreen that brought the reality of the show to life for me; it was the comments section that made me aware that this wasn't a BL series. Speaking of the comments section, I thought it was interesting: some try-hard spectators were being anti and uppity about viewing this show through a romantic or queer lens, seeing as it's labeled as a bromance. But there's some consistently purposeful romantic implications that were intensified by TayNew's chemistry, which has never been better. Insisting that this series should only be viewed as a friendship and nothing more is truly a disservice to both the writing and acting. TayNew are giving prime performances in this series, along with Mook and Jan.
Not only is the core four cast radiating pure chemistry onscreen but even the guest stars gave us amazing performances. Namely, Book and Force, whom both give the most emotional performances that I've seen from guests on a GMMTV series. Every person involved knew that they were working on something amazing, and it shows. This series has some of the best production value from a GMMTV series yet.
The only issues that I have, if I were to be nitpicky, is that the music isn't extremely memorable or expansive. It's nothing worth complaining about but there just isn't much variety, if I'm being honest. I also have to admit that I called the big twist of the finale from the very first episode, and I'm certain most other viewers did as well. Also, I'd be lying if I didn't say that I felt slighted by the lack of a PeachHome endgame at the end, or at the very least, a heavier romantic implication. I know it's a bromance but if this series was written the exact same way but produced with Western sensibilities, there would have surely been a heavily implied romance at the end, if not explicitly romantic. GMMTV (and Eastern media) continues to be tied down by genre and pairings... but I digress. Nothing that I hold against this series is worth passing on it. It's phenomenal and one of the first in a while that I highly recommend.

A little scary, a lot of wholesome entertainment
Veteran stars Tay and New continue to deliver spectacular chemistry. Their chemistry was so good that some scenes left me questioning whether the series was hinting at something more than a friendship. But no, it’s just a very compelling bromance. Even though Peaceful Property isn’t a BL, it doesn’t have to be.
But be warned – I couldn’t watch this series after sunset. The first few episodes took some getting used to because the ghosts were just so scary!
I only put up with the scaries because the storyline proved to be sufficiently compelling. And also, I love TayNew (more on that later). While the ghosthunting format for Peaceful Property is somewhat predictable, the series actually had several unpredictable twists. Overall, the series was also really entertaining and well-done. It strikes a good balance between humour, drama, horror and romance and explores what a ‘home’ means for the different characters.

It Feel Like Home
This is such a wonderfully refreshing series to watch. Just sit back and enjoy. No need to think. Just relax. Yet, it tells a story of such fortitude that is so subtle that it might be missed. But it is there, nonetheless. It is also not in any way a BL. Nor is it even a bromance. By contrast, it is a story of friendship and family. It is a nice change of pace to watch a series where it is just pure fun to watch. There is no hint of any romance in this series except in a playful manner and bantering about. All of the series connections were with the ‘ghosts’. So go ahead, sit down and treat yourself to being completely entertained and laugh more than once with and at these characters. It is that kind of a series! Was this review helpful to you?

For the soft hearted ones: A good Horror
Many reviews say that the drama is TayNew magic, and it is right to the 'T'. This drama is a wholesome one, offering you to get close with the characters and join them in their adventure. Some points that I liked-1. Guest appearances of many actors🤩
2. P'Tay's character- the reason why I say is, though the plot is about ghosts and they do look scary enough to haunt you in your dreams (yes, everything is scary in the dream, however stupid it seems after you wake up), everytime he screams is a direct expression of the viewer, and suddenly the ghosts are not scary, because the character is equally scared of the ghosts.
3. A plot where the ghost-seeing character is shown on a journey of accepting and working on his ability, in contrast to many others where the journey is shown only as a backstory.
4. Many obvious questions are answered, not leaving you to find them on your own. For e.g: Why are all the properties haunted?
5. The bond of the main characters- it is lovely familial bond they develop, making you feel at home.
6. All the characters are sweet and have a character growth.
For me, this would count as another go-to drama, if I really want to watch something of horror genre, but not really horror due to P'Tay and P'new.🥰

A Rollercoaster Of Emotions
Peaceful property is a horror comedy series(not exactly) about Kan, Home, Peach and Pangpang who work together in a ghost hunting company. Now onto the actual review! As usual, I will go over the four main characters and then the conclusion.(Contains spoilers)
Rating - 9/10
Kan - She is Home's personal lawyer/assistant. She is portrayed as not being affectionate with her friends at first but we soon realise she also loves her friends as much as they love her. She had a villian arc in the middle but it endeed up bringing the gang even closer and we love to see it
Home - Home is the grandson of a real estate mogul and he inherits all the wealth, he wants to sell all of the property and that is how the ghost hunting company is founded. He is shown as a carefree spoiled rich brat but deep down he is a absolute sweetie. He ends up being betrayed by people he trusted but atleast he still has his friends by his side.
Peach - Peach is a cook who can see ghosts. He was a scaredy cat at first but he gets over his fear of ghost. we love to see charater development. Peach ends up being the mastermind who gets rid of the ghosts. I loved seeing Peach and Home's love hate friendship!!
Pangpang - Pangpang is Tay's younger sister, she is a content creator. She is the PR manager of the company. She was the balance the group needed. She was a fun sport along with Home, I loved seeing them being goofy with each other.
This series was a roller coaster of emotions, there is plot twist in literally every episode there is never a dull moment and I ended up crying almost every episode so I highly recommend you watch this series

It’s clear that GMM made an effort to steer this series away from being a BL series, yet they cleverly added moments that make fans scream in excitement. I love it! Having followed Tay and New long before their iconic kissing scene, it was a joy to see them come together in this refreshing theme.
The production team truly put in significant effort to make this blend of horror and comedy stand out, and the addition of great supporting actors, especially in Episode 7, elevated the series further. Honestly, I’ve never been a huge fan of their previous series. I mean I watched them, but none truly resonated with me. Even Only Friends, which I liked, didn’t move me emotionally like their appearance in this show. However, just one single episode of this series made me fall in love with them all over again.
I’m really hoping this Tay and New series will continue and feature even more talented supporting actors from GMM. The anticipation for what’s next is almost unbearable. I simply can’t wait!

This is so underrated!
I won't add any spoiler so I can encourage people to give it a try because the series is so underrated when it's so good! I've been watching BLs since 2017 and honestly, I'm so tired of schools and engineers and the very same thing over and over again. And yes, this series is confirmed not to be BL, but just the chemistry between TayNew and how their relationship develops throughout the plot, makes it a suitable story for BL fans as well. It's a refreshing story, the plot seems easy at first, but the twists are absolutely unpredictable and half-way of it, I'm highly amazed by how interesting it is. I know the first episodes are a bit scary and for those who don't like terror, it may get a bit hard to watch, but after each story there's always a tragic story. I found myself crying when those ghosts just wanted to say goodbye to their beloved ones, so don't be afraid if that's what's retaining you from watching! Also, after it focuses more on the characters' story so it gets lighter (ever way funnier lmao). So in conclusion, I cannot understand the low ratings when it's finally such a good comedy, plot and series as whole. It's becoming one of my favs honestly because it's so easy to get on their shoes and sympathize with them.
I wish they did more series like that, a great balance of comedy-drama, not too ridiculous and hitting the painful spot right on it. I just pray they won't mess up with the ending (as it's getting frequent lately sadly (gonna edit this review when I finish it!)).

Most Humorous, heart touching series
This series, has a captivating plot with a lot of twists and turns, included with many heart touching stories of normal ordinary people who live in this world. The characters - Peach (Tay), Home (New), Pang (Janhae), etc. have done their best in this, and hope to continue it in the remaining episodes.
I highly recommend this to everyone, as it can teach us a lot of things like, true friendship, etc.

ForceBook stole the show
Episode 7 is hands down the best thing GMMTV has ever created! It's a masterpiece! Force and Book seriously impressed me with their acting chops. I wish we could get more serious roles like this for them because Force's sadness was so intensely played and Book took on a unique role we haven't ever seen. 10/10 highly highly recommend! Was this review helpful to you?
