Another one of My Favourites Slow-Burn

This drama has officially become one of my favourite slow-burn dramas. It's just perfect from start to finish. I don't know if I should compare it or not, but this drama felt like the perfect blend of Our Beloved Summer and Lovestruck in the City. Each character in the show fulfilled their role beautifully.

I was hoping for a better ending for the second couple, but even though they didn't end up together, they were still happy in their own ways. Not hating each other is also a kind of happy ending, isn't it? That's exactly what makes this drama so realistic.

Anyway, I highly recommend it! Do watch this drama—I’m sure you’ll love it!

Melo Movie: A Fresh and Emotional Journey of Love and Growth

First of all, all the actors who acted in this movie did better than I thought. In fact, there was a freshness in the first episode. I really like stories with this kind of cinematography.


The chemistry between Choi Woo Shik and Park Bo Young is perfect. Even if this is not as full romance as I thought, I would personally like to have this kind of love. That kind of romance is there.


This was more than just another story. There was something to learn from almost every character and there were many places similar to our lives.


Also, the OST is very beautiful. Even if you don't pay attention to the OST while watching the drama, you are now listening to it. It is also very beautiful..


It's a really fresh story. People who are trying to move forward with their personal problems in their lives. Meanwhile, there are people who fall in love with beauty and meet at the wrong time.


A very beautiful and fresh story. Although there was no heavy emotions in the first episode, the last three or four episodes were full of emotions.


I like the character of Mu-bee and Ko-Gyeom and their love story. It's a very healthy love story that gives both of them their personal freedom and understands each other's flaws.

Exactly what I look for in kdramas

This drama had the perfect combination of the bittersweet and heartfelt aspects that I've come to love kdramas for. The vibes were through the roof for the first half of the show and then the tears came with the healing and an ending that made sense for all the characters. The second couple was quite a toxic relationship and I'm glad they ended it like that (Si-jun is such an idiot btw for not realizing how one-sided the relationship was). The overall length was fine in my opinion although I wouldn't have minded more episodes. A good kdrama has you enjoying the time that you're spending with the cast and this was one of those.

Tells a good story. Some say it’s a healing story I’d say it’s a story to reflect on.

Quote “Everyone is basically the same” I’m learning it is quite true to an extent as I become an adult each day… And 1 person may be a hero/good for one and the villain/bad for another.
First half was similar to our beloved summer(both acting was very distinct didn’t clash at all). I enjoyed it. Then latter half made me brawl my heart out. I’ve watched many shows and this is one of the handful that made me cry so hard. Like I wailed and everything. Honestly didn’t really enjoy the second couple…I don’t usually talk abt chemistry between actors bc I honestly don’t kno wth that is. But I think I the 2nd couple here did not really have chemistry, just couldn’t watch them… not that their story line sucked, it was quite the romance but based and realistic. Can’t really blamed both sides… Our FL served as always and ML also did not disappoint. It’s a melo movie just like Our beloved Summer. But he played both characters so well and distinctly. His portrayal for both characters did not overlap at all. Impressive. Their OST My Star has been stuck with me for the whole day rn, it’s resonating in my chest😮‍💨 that song really brought more life to the drama too. Life truly is a MeloMovie

Let me preface this by stating that I am a sucker for melodramas, especially ones involving romance. Melomovie really shows us that everyones life, no matter how dull or boring it may seem, is a melo. The topics they go over in this drama, although intense for a romance, I think it really brought the plot to reality. I love the conviction of emotions you can see through the actor/actresses’s eyes, and the feelings really resonate with you. To me, this combination of great actors, a complex yet real plot, and overall great feelings, I find myself relating to the characters a lot more than I would like to admit to. If you are a fan of feeling complex emotions and want to escape a reality for a few hours, I highly recommend giving Melomovie a try.
