I crave for more..
A refreshing premise that goes beyond the usual bl recipe and dares to experiment with other genres, by blending comedy with action and drama. Each episode --while lengthy-- is so enjoyable that you don't find yourself getting bored or tired.However, it suffered on the writing department. After a point the plot expanded so much it took so many directions that the focus got disturbed with some aspects of the series getting neglected; like the romance, the development of the side characters, even the main leads I feel didn't get the attention they deserved. Either the show should have had more episodes, so that all the plotlines could have gotten properly developed or the focus should have remained in a smaller scale of things and leave room for the characters to gradually grow both emotionally and mentally, because now it left me with the sense that I didn't get my closure. The show itself had set the bar so high in the first episodes, that I expected to see some things happen that I didn't get to after all..
Acting wise it was beautiful. It was my first time watching these actors and I loved their performances. Yin and War as a tv couple have that unique chemistry that gave me butterflies even when they only exchanged looks and that's something you rarely see.
Overall, the series is good and I really loved it! Definitely a fun journey for the viewer and I recommend it to anyone who isn't looking for a standard romance.

An entertaining show from beginning to end
If you are looking for an exciting series that will make you laugh, cry and forget what boredom is this is it.I didn't skip or fast forward a single scene which nowadays says a lot! The show kept a good pace the entire time, there was always enough happening to keep you entertained. I think the comedy elements in dramas seem to throw some viewers who are not used to Thai dramas off, but to me this is what makes it a quintessentially Thai. I love scenes that build up to a dramatic moment only for the character to react in a realistically funny way, and War does this amazingly as Joke. The acting was great, we know War would steal the show with his emotional acting and comedic timing, but I found the supporting cast very good too. The villain was dramatic but not too hammy, and Grandma and Toi Ting stole everyone's hearts.
As with any show that has a limited number of episodes, there are some elements that I would have liked to have seen developed more (Joke's time in prison, Arun adapting to poverty, TT's recovery etc), but ultimately the show left me satisfied which not a lot of dramas manage.

Did I go in with too high expectations?
When I watched the first couple of episodes of this show I was absolutely sold. It's the most excited I've been about a show in a long time. I felt like it had everything: action, chemestry, production value, excellent performances.Unfortunately for me, around episode 3/4 the story/writing started falling a little flat for me. It didn't focus enough on building the relationship and tension between the leads and instead focused on what felt like kind of random plotlines. The changes in tone also mostly didn’t work for me.
That being said, I really loved most of the performances. Grandma alone might have added a star to my rating. And the actor who playes Joke is a revelation. I really hope I get to see the main actors again in something with a story and writing more to my taste.

What a solid series!
Wow, this has all the elements that I enjoy in a show. Heists, crime and gangsterism, and BL – made even better by the fact that it’s YinWar.The storyline is not overly predictable and cheesy, and as a full-length series with 12 episodes, each around an hour to 80 minutes long, there were also enough twists to keep me hooked. I couldn’t stop watching this!
The characters are sufficiently interesting and well-thought-out. I love that the series makes subtle points about how poverty cycles and debt collection are interconnected. Its characters are repeatedly forced into making lousy gambles and regretting the choices they made.
Yin and War's chemistry is top-tier, as always, and their relationship is so lovely to watch. In Jack and Joker, their story is one of collective redemption. Even if you have gone through difficult circumstances and made numerous mistakes, there is always a way back. And there will always be someone who will have your back.
It’s not about one person saving another, it’s about how two people can bring out the best in each other.

best bl show in the last 3 years
i am so sad this show has ended honestly. i dont like avidly keep up with bls but i keep up with them enough to have watched both the versions of love mechanics lol. yinwar did SO well in the second version and since then i followed them begging for a new show with those two cause they act so well together.when they released the pilot episode i was literally the happiest person on earth 😭 i counted down the days until the show was releasing and honestly i've been super disappointed with all the bls i've watched since bad buddy and not me.
ok on to the review of the show - i had high expectations and i was NOT disappointed. the acting is SO good, and while every show has their bits of cringe lines and acting, i could excuse them because the rest of the show was good.
however, there are two things i didn't like - the first being how they just killed off jennie's character. i mean i understand that they were trying to depict how serious issues like debt can get, but when she fell of the balcony they didn't even bother to take her to the hospital or try to revive her. her death scene was like 2 minutes long and it was over 😭 they didn't show her best friend mourning and they didn't say a word about it after that scene. that kinda pissed me off.
secondly, the endorsement of violence. listen, i understand it was part of jack's job to beat people up, but they made it seem like hope genuinely enjoyed it?? like there were multiple times where he said something along the lines of "i like beating people up", and i don't like that his redemption arc was not really a redemption arc cause they acted like he barely did anything wrong even though he was a huge asshole and sadist. i'm sorry i just never liked hope's character because of how violent he was and how less he cared for people he didn't love.
ANYWAYS, other than those two, the show was literally perfect. they kept dragging on the plot until the last episode but somehow they handled it well and the show was paced really nicely - nothing felt rushed. i don't think i'll ever find a bl this good for a really long time and i want 100 more projects from yinwar PLEASE IM LITERALLY BEGGING 🙏
their acting and chemistry is insanely good - i've never seen a pair where BOTH of them are so insanely good at acting and also insanely good at acting with each other too. i've actually never wanted two actors to be together until these two, that's just how endorsed they are in their characters in the show - it's soooo goooddd. i mean i dont actually want them to be together, but iykyk.

Hi, this is my first time leaving a comment on the series. I just want to say that i liked this series especially because of the main actors i watched their series Love mechanics, but i didn't liked that it took them 9 ep to be together and in the special ep ending is the worst
but i understand the meaning of this series so i liked it. even though i would love for Tattoo and Aran to date and everyone deserve happiness.

Highly recommend
I was excited for this drama from the first time I heard about it. It did not disappoint. I pretty much loved everything about it, the storyline the cast. There was lots of action and some twists to the characters. If you like a good kiss this drama has that to. I am glad that I waited for it to be complete and then just bing watched it. I would’ve went crazy having to wait a whole week for the next episode. I highly recommend this drama..Was this review helpful to you?

I absolutely adored this show. The characters are well rounded, nuanced, intriguing, and lovable. I fell in love with this little community. This is definitely plot/characters first and romance second, and usually I’m a romance first girlie, but this show just pulled me in. Blown Away!
I just finished this series and I can say that this 100% blew me away. Everything about it was fantastic. Can I give it more than 10/10?Blown Away by:
* The story! So compelling and it kept me on the edge of my seat. It was clever, emotional, funny, intense, and heartbreaking.
* The actors were phenomenal. I have to say War (Joker) deserves a best acting award for this series. He was so incredible. He’s just so versatile. Yin (Jack) was also amazing. You could tell he put everything he had into this role. So talented and so handsome.
* The rest of the cast was great. No one was overly goofy. They were all legitimately funny, serious, and perfect for their roles. But the grandmother stole the show for me. Loved her!
This series was just so good! It was a very high quality production. For me, it’s in my top four along with KinnPorsche, Manner of Death, and The Sign. Watch it!!

THIS WAS LITERALLY A GEM?
I was NOT expecting this.... I legit thought it was going to be like one of those boring new BLs and I was really hesitant especially cuz it's new ...but I liked the series cover it looked interesting then I went and saw some clips of the kiss ...and when I saw that it was in episode 9 i was like DAMNN!! i have to wait that long?? This series must not be that good.Oh boy was I wrong.
From the acting to their chemistry...to the story, plot the comedy this series was literally soooo well done. The comedic scenes were in their perfect place and was so natural and actually really freaking funny.. like legit laughing out loud!! I cried many times because of J&J relationship. Their story did not feel forced or rushed...it was told absolutely in a perfect and beautiful way befitting their characters.
Let's not even talk about how handsome they both are..and that sexy scene AHHHH!!!
All of the characters were amazing (boss sister nang, rose, grandma - her words always made me tear up-) especially their friends group!! I immediately went on and followed all of them on Instagram and watched clips because I was really invested and interest to know WHO they were and how comes I've never seen ANY of them ANYWHERE
Absolutely 100% recommend this..Thank you to everyone who loved this series and if by some crazy miracle the staff, actors or makers see this review then thank you very much for creating such a beautiful series🙏

Just Amazing!!
I just loved the whole story, acting, character development, cinematography and everything.This drama has made me cry, laugh, tense in some situations. It was a whole roller-coaster ride.
I loved that every character had their important part and were not left hanging just for the sake of building up the story.
Joke is an amazing character as he always tries his best to make everyone happy around him qnd doesn't want to let others down.
Development of Jack's character is very interesting how an innocent boy turns into a Grim Reaper but is still kind.
Jack and Joke are so much in love with each other that they always support and protect each other in difficult situations.
War and Yin has acted so well!!!
Tattoo, Hoy, Arun, Save, Hope every person had important part in the story.
Not to forget the Grandma's character... she is so good- a very cool and supportive grandma who wants happiness for his grandchild.
I just loved everything about this drama.

Just Brilliant
This was so enjoyable, you can ignore the imperfections, the actors, the acting, the story, which is about the unfairness of life, wealth and poor , but also being determined to grow no matter where you come from.All couples where great, it was nice there was already a couple who make it work. Everybody was great. You even kind of feel sorry for Boss in the end and he was horrible.
The kiss when in the middle of danger was beautiful, real and needed.
The little girl was bearable and cure.
(Well done everyone, I never rewatch anything, but i would this. Be proud you made a gem and you all where so wonderful)
