Impecável!

Love Between Lines é um C-Drama que me conquistou do começo ao fim. Os protagonistas têm uma química incrível, daquelas que fazem a gente acreditar em cada olhar e em cada cena. As atuações são muito boas e o elenco, no geral, entrega personagens envolventes e bem construídos. A história é bem desenvolvida, com início, meio e fim coerentes, algo que venho percebendo cada vez mais nos doramas chineses que assisto. Mesmo com muitos episódios, a trama não se perde nem soa arrastada. O figurino é lindo, os cenários são bem escolhidos e ajudam a criar uma atmosfera acolhedora e envolvente. A única coisa que senti falta foi de um maior desenvolvimento do possível casal secundário. Eles tinham tudo pra acontecer, mas infelizmente isso não foi explorado. Ainda assim, na minha cabeça, eles estão juntos e muito felizes. No geral, é um dorama bonito, bem feito e que vale muito a pena assistir.

A Compelling Story with Some Rough Edges

Love Between Lines is a drama that I genuinely enjoyed, especially because the story has more going on than just romance. From the beginning, Hu Xiu and Xiao Zhiyu are put into situations involving misunderstandings, secrets, family problems, investigations, and painful events from the past. The story gradually reveals what really happened, so it kept me curious about how everything would eventually connect.

What I like most about this drama is that the characters don't feel completely one-dimensional. Hu Xiu isn't simply a helpless female lead, and Xiao Zhiyu isn't just a cold male lead whose only purpose is to protect her. They both have their own backgrounds, problems, secrets, and reasons for making certain choices. Xiao Zhiyu, in particular, carries a lot of things on his shoulders and sometimes chooses to hide the truth because he thinks he's protecting Hu Xiu. Of course, that also creates a lot of unnecessary misunderstandings between them. 😭

And honestly, communication is once again a problem in this drama. There are quite a few situations where I found myself thinking, “You could literally solve this by just telling her the truth!” 😂 Some of the conflicts take longer than they need to because important information is kept secret or characters don't immediately explain what is actually happening. However, I did appreciate that the story eventually reveals the reasons behind those secrets instead of leaving everything unexplained.

I also liked the way Hu Xiu gradually discovers the truth about Xiao Zhiyu, his past, the Xincheng Stadium incident, and the things he has been keeping from her. Their relationship isn't just about falling in love; they also have to deal with the consequences of their past and the people around them. That gave the romance more emotional weight.

The romance itself is pretty enjoyable. Hu Xiu and Xiao Zhiyu have good chemistry, and I liked seeing their relationship develop through all the misunderstandings and difficult situations. There are also some genuinely sweet and intimate moments between them, especially toward the later episodes. By the time the truth finally comes out and they start moving forward together, it feels like they've actually gone through something rather than simply getting together because the plot says they should.

That being said, the drama isn't perfect. Some parts feel a little dragged out, and certain conflicts could have been resolved much earlier with better communication. There are also moments where the pacing feels uneven, especially when the story switches between romance, family problems, and the mystery surrounding the past.

One thing that also bothered me personally was Hu Xiu / Lu YuXiao's dialogue delivery. Some of her lines were not pronounced very clearly, and at times it felt like she was just moving her lips or mumbling instead of properly opening her mouth and articulating the words. 😭 It made some dialogue harder to catch, especially in emotional scenes. Her acting itself has some good moments, but I really wish her pronunciation and articulation were clearer because it would make her performance much easier to follow.

Despite those flaws, I still think Love Between Lines is an enjoyable watch. It has romance, mystery, family drama, secrets, emotional baggage, and enough twists to keep things interesting. I especially appreciate that the characters have their own stories instead of existing solely for the romance.

Is it perfect? No.
Did some parts frustrate me? Definitely. 😭
Did I enjoy watching Hu Xiu and Xiao Zhiyu's story unfold? Yes.

Fuja da sua realidade, mas ela vai voltar pra você eventualmente...

Eu não tenho nada além de elogios sobre esse cdrama!!!

Ele é leve, envolvente e tem uma história muito gostosa de acompanhar. Você não fica entediado em momento algum, o casal principal, o casal secundário e todos os outros personagens são super interessantes.

Comecei a assistir pela Lu Yuxiao porque muitos elogiaram a atuação dela nesse drama e não me arrependi, valeu cada mínimo minuto que me dediquei a ele. O drama tem começo, meio e fim, é completinho e até as partes mais arrastadas ainda são interessantes. Mesmo quando os protagonistas não estão em cena, o restante do elenco entrega um ótimo enredo e atuação.

Não vou dar spoiler nessa review apesar de achar que nenhum spoiler é impactante demais. Só deixo como grande recomendação. Foi meu primeiro drama moderno chinês e não me arrependi em nada dessa escolha.

Se você busca algo leve mas interessante pra acompanhar tanto lentamente como rushando, essa é uma ótima opção!

Love Between Lines itu tipe drama yang nggak ribet tapi ngena. Ceritanya pelan, tapi justru di situ letak kekuatannya. Banyak momen yang bikin kita mikir, “kok kayak relate ya?”—tentang perasaan yang dipendam, salah paham kecil yang jadi besar, dan kata-kata yang nggak pernah jadi diucapkan.
Drama ini nggak melulu penuh dialog berat, tapi lebih ke emosi yang kerasa “di antara baris”. Tatapan, sikap, dan keheningan malah sering lebih nyentuh daripada kata-kata. Chemistry antar tokohnya juga dapet, bikin ceritanya terasa hangat tapi kadang juga bikin nyesek dikit.
Cocok banget ditonton kalau lagi pengen drama romantis yang tenang, nggak lebay, tapi tetap bikin baper. Love Between Lines ngingetin kita kalau dalam hubungan, yang nggak diomongin kadang justru paling penting. ✨

Jogos, arquitetura e romance

Amei tudo!
O começo com os jogos foi muito divertido, ver a Hu Xiu fazer de tudo pra ganhar do Zhiyu e o fato do primeiro beijo deles serem dentro do jogo foi o melhor!
Queria ter visto mais do romance do secundários da amiga e amigo deles, são muito queridos!
A química e a maturidade do casal principal foi muito satisfatório de assistir!
Apesar da trama de separação da Hu Xiu e o Zhiyu perto dos últimos episódios, que foi chato eles se separarem por conta dos pais deles, mas foi bom que logo resolveram!
Fico imaginando a mãe do prota percebendo depois que passou anos junto com o homem que matou seu ex marido…
Felizmente Pei se arrependeu no final de ser um tremendo otario, gostei disso porque eu sabia que ele tinha um lado bom, o lado ruim dele era a influência do pai psicopata dele!

Un bel drama, con dei bei personaggi trattati da attori che sanno quello che fanno.
La storia non è leggera come può sembrare, è molto matura e appagante sotto quasi tutti i punti di vista anche se vengono calcate alcune situazioni tipiche delle serie romantiche, tipo la convivenza XD
Se proprio devo trovarvi un lato negativo, direi il gioco. Io credevo che questo spazio fosse il fulcro del drama, dove la maggior parte della storia si sarebbe svolta, invece scopro durante la visione che è una piccola parte del tutto. Essendo così presente e preponderante nel trailer, mi aspettavo di più su questo aspetto. Diciamo che la cosa mi ha un po' infastidita ma meno male che tutto il resto è stato cmq bello da vedere e non me ne rammarico troppo.

Drama comfort e padrão

Love Between Lines é aquele estilo de c drama que é bem parecido com outros, trazendo plots como identidade dupla, corrupção de corporação, CEO com traumas familiares mal resolvidos e afins. mas o que eu acho que faz com que esse drama se torne diferente é o plot do jogo virtual, que realmente é incrível e eu nunca tinha visto outro drama que explorasse/ usasse a época da república da China dessa forma, e, digo eu, um pouco mal utilizado. Mas, fora isso, o romance realmente é bem levinho, conforto e típico, super vale a pena pra quem gosta de doramas onde tem sim algum plot mas ele não é muito aprofundado. senti falta de um final mais fechado, mas ainda sim é bom. A protagonista é um pouco infantil com as decisões dela as vezes, também senti falta de mais momentos do casal secundário, tinham muita química para poucos momentos.
