Worth a try...
Cant believe this year Cdramas are bang... one after another but this one feels more of a suprise coz i saw the tittle n i was yaa probably going to average n was not watching anything so thought of giving it a try,,, and it took my by suprise as i have finished it,, But i still cant get over it!!! Hands down to one of the best drama of 2025

He’s not the typical cold stereotype, but a man whose care is shown through patience, consistency, and actions rather than empty words.
Their love story unfolds naturally, like watching two souls slowly find home in each other. It’s tender, heartwarming, and feels grounded in real emotions rather than forced tropes. No unnecessary chaos, no dragged misunderstandings—just a steady, beautiful journey of two people building trust and affection.

Surprising gem
I was apprehensive at the start , but when I started watching, it turned out to be surprisingly well done! Definitely give it a chance ! The storytelling made you care about these characters( all of them, not just the leads) and helped you feel the warmth through the screen. The chemistry was palpable and both leads pulled off a great job, the fl ,especially, showing lot of improvement from her previous works. Another thing that stood out was how well it was shot, every frame perfectly situated. In some shows the pace starts dragging after leads get together but not in this one. StoryI found this story incredibly captivating. The 26 episodes felt just right; neither rushed nor dragged. The love story, along with the hidden layers of the plot, was beautifully expressed. It’s a wonderful narrative that truly deserves more recognition and appreciation.
Acting/Cast
Bi Wen Jun’s performance was outstanding. He portrayed his character with such depth and nuance, and his expressive acting really pulled us into the story. He has immense potential, and I genuinely hope he gets more opportunities to showcase his talent. Zhang Yuxi also did a fantastic job, perfectly embodying her role. The chemistry between the leads was undeniable, overflowing and heartwarming. I sincerely hope we get to see them work together again in future projects.
Music
The music selection was excellent and clearly well thought out. Each track enhanced the emotional tone of the scenes and kept the audience deeply engaged in the drama.
Rewatch Value
I’ve already started rewatching it. I just couldn’t accept that it was over. It’s one of those rare dramas that truly draws you in and makes it hard to let go.

Nothing much.
Loved this. The chemistry is overwhelming. I’ve cried many times. This drama gives you a lot of realizations‚ and lessons.Both main leads are matured. They're not likely who will leave one another just because of an argument nor a problem, they tend to look for a solution and reconcile.
His mother is a sucker though. Although, her past is understandable but I do think revenge shouldn't have existed in the first place.
Their wedding was so beautiful. They made a fairytale came out. Zhang Yuxi is indeed beautiful and Bi Wenjun is handsome as well. Their visuals are like match made in heaven.
A good drama with a good plot and a good characters deserves a good review. Here's 10 out of 10 for you.

a proposta desse drama é excelente.um drama maduro.
a protagonista super pra frente, independente, forte, ela é maravilhosa!
o protagonista ele é rodeado de mistério.
os dois tem uma química maravilhosa!!!!
mas química não salva a história.
a proposta era um casal maduro, não sei pq mas a china ela insiste em fazer ML que deixa a parceira no escuro em nome da proteção.
esse ponto da história ao meu ver é bem negativo, pq a história fica massante com esse vai e vem , brigas que podem ser resolvidas com uma conversa e a sinceridade do ML.
a mãe dele é um ponto chave na história, podemos dizer até o momento (16 episódios) que ela é a vilã da história. estou muito curiosa para o desenvolvimento dessa personagem.
estou torcendo muito para que se forme um casal secundário, para trazer uma leveza na história.

A história acompanha Ye Meng, uma mulher que, após fracassar profissionalmente, retorna à sua cidade natal em busca de recomeço.
