didn't expect it to be so good

So this is a lovely series. In some ways reminds me of Last Twilight, both are great, but this is the gentle, less ambitious one. The actor playing the deaf caregiver is not only stunning but he gives a great performance. And the secretary/assistant....can we talk....major hottie with or without glasses. Sorry, got a little excited there. But this is a great watch and worth your times. And the depiction of a deaf person ( kind of like in Moonlight Chicken) is filled with dignity and hurt and power and a reality that we don'ft often see. Please take the time to watch.

The main couple was the best thing in the show

Just finished watching it- honestly speaking, I'm surprised by how high the rating is for this series (it's prob one of the highest rated BLs in mdl) because although I liked the series, I thought there were some flaws/things I didn't like. This was the 1st ep which looked so choppy to me (I dropped the show because of it but decided to give it another chance), the 2nd lead couple because honestly I couldn't care less about them and the cousin plot(it just had no real substance-like bro did all that for what -.-). However, there were some elements that made this series enjoyable for me which was the main couple (their chem was really good, and I was really interested to see how things would play out between them and how they would grow). I also liked how their love for each other was gentle and calm.
Overall, I would recommend this show for people looking for a bl series where the mls chem are really good and a non-toxic romance but if you are looking for a show with a really good flow and interesting plots and characters other than the mls in my opinion no one was really interesting to watch.

Comedy saves it from mediocrity

Rich entitled guy x normal person trope again… but this was the best one I’ve seen so far because he actually experiences ego death. I love the representation of deaf people. I hated this drama at the beginning but gradually became obsessed, especially with the second couple. It’s also over the top and made me laugh so many times. But there’s no resolution at the end, barely any chemistry between the leads and women as villians (tired).

A Love You Don’t Need to Hear to Feel

What makes See Your Love so special isn’t a complicated or groundbreaking plot, but the emotional clarity of its storytelling. At its core, it’s about connection — the way two people learn to understand each other beyond words, beyond differences, and beyond the limitations they start from.

Jiang Shao Peng is a character who stays with you. His silence is never treated as something to “fix,” but as part of who he is. And Yang Zi Xiang’s presence in his life feels incredibly natural — not forced or idealized, but built slowly through attention, patience, and genuine curiosity. Their relationship develops in a way that feels both intimate and deeply respectful, which makes every small interaction meaningful.

One of the most impactful aspects of the drama is its use of contrast: silence and expression, distance and closeness, control and spontaneity. Even without relying heavily on dialogue, the emotional progression is always clear. You don’t need explanations — you feel it.

The second couple adds a lighter rhythm to the story, bringing humor and energy without breaking the emotional tone. They complement the main narrative rather than distracting from it, which makes the overall experience feel balanced and complete.

Visually and emotionally, the chemistry between the leads is undeniable. It’s not loud or exaggerated — it’s quiet, consistent, and deeply convincing. The kind of connection that builds until you realize you’re completely invested without even noticing when it happened.

By the time the story reaches its romantic milestones, everything feels earned. Not rushed, not artificial — just the natural result of two people choosing each other, again and again, in small ways that eventually become everything.

I also rewatched it many times, which says more than anything else I could write. It didn’t lose its impact — if anything, it became clearer how carefully constructed the emotional core really is.

At its heart, See Your Love is not about drama or spectacle. It’s about presence. About being seen, understood, and chosen.

And for me, that was more than enough to make it unforgettable.

Enjoyable but Somewhat Overrated

I would rate this 7.8 or 7.9

The 2nd half of the series was better than the first overall, but I don't get why it has such a high rating since its really.. not THAT great, although I liked the latter half a lot more. What threw me off was just a lot of weirdly placed quick scenes/random music/unnecessarily dramatic moments and random falling for half the show. I cant say I absolutely loved it. I feel like someone in the production crew really didn't know what they were doing with the music especially in certain scenes.

That said, there were definitely some great scenes acting-wise, sweet intimate scenes, and I liked the character development. The part I liked the most was the really tall soft and calm guy x shorter more chaotic guy dynamic.

Language of Love

I wasnt expecting much, but i also wasnt expecting what i watched. This drama included 4 of my favorite things, Sign language/deaf/mute, Gangster/ceo, tall vs short, bl. I knew it was about bl but imagine all your favorite things in one?? That's exactly how i felt watching this, if there was a motorcycle in here i'd blow the headlines even more this is more than a 10/10 for me. This is such a sweet, cute, innocent and loving story (besides Jonathan.. that man.. has issues./j). I felt like it was so not only realistic of how they spoke to each other, but also there wasnt a need to drag out drama or quarrels, for example in one scene Jiang feels betrayed and upset at Yang because he thinks that he is a player or that he is telling one person that he loves them while having a fiance. But in reality that wasnt his choice to be engaged, he wanted no part of it and when he found Jiang that door of possibilities opened. Not only that but in that moment even though Jiang was upset and breaking down crying he hugged Yang because he needed his support and warmth. I cannot explain for the life of me how cute this story is!!! Absolutely recommend for all!! 10/10 for everything! Can't believe i missed the time it aired!

Cuteness overload

The fact that few people gave this negative reviews are so wrong. The story is a normal Wattpad story, but the execution was so good. I didn't have high hopes as I saw a few negative reviews but the first episode itself had me hooked. Useless rich person that had many scars and a happy disabled person hiding his insecurities in a smile are such a beautiful pair. Not only the main couple the side couple are sooo aggressively cute but they needed more screen time. All the side characters are soo healthy I mean mentally healthy. The parents of shoapeng should start a school for all disabled people because they need such persons in their life. I was thinking of giving it a 9 but I am giving 10 because of ep 11. It was such a wholesome episode I cried while watching it. Zixiang and shoapeng I wish to see them more zixiang was such a brat and sooo cute that I had to pause and squeal and play it again shoapeng despite being a top he was a cutest brat tamer. Overall the couple gave me a sweet tooth. I already expected the ending wouldn't be complete in bl dramas that are not thai but I liked the ending as it was realistic. That cousin character I didn't understand him what the hell he even wanted. This drama has love, one sided love, aggressive love, and just a fiance who can't get the idea of people in love. Overall don't think twice to watch it , just keep a smile on your face and watch it .

Beautiful story!

This show was so good and surprisingly emotional. At first, I thought it was a cute funny show, but it honestly had some of the most beautiful writing. I was laughing and sobbing through every episode. Also, the way they handle the one lead characters deafness was done really well. Jin Yun, who played Jiang Shaopang, did such a good job for playing a character that didn't speak. He had to tell so much of the story with his facial expression alone, and it was amazing. Also the side characters were so interesting. It's definitely a show that I will come back too.

The Perfect Healing Antidote

As a viewer who usually gravitates toward high-stakes narratives, intense angst, and volatile character dynamics, a soft romance is rarely at the top of my watchlist. I typically prefer stories where the tension is dialed up to ten and the stakes feel impossibly high. However, after recently finishing the emotional wreckage and high-intensity rollercoaster that was Double Helix, my soul was desperately crying out for a palate cleanser. Enter See Your Love. I didn’t expect a softer, more grounded show to grip me so entirely, but it turned out to be the absolute perfect, comforting healing drama to reset my emotional barometer.
What makes See Your Love so spectacular is that it doesn’t rely on cheap misunderstandings or toxic miscommunications to drive its plot. Instead, it relies on the profound, quiet beauty of emotional safety. The narrative gives its audience room to breathe, replacing explosive external conflict with deep internal healing. It is a masterclass in how to write a romance that feels earned, tender, and deeply resonant without needing a chaotic universe collapsing around the main characters.
One of the absolute highlights of the series—and something that sets it apart from so many other titles in the BL genre—is the portrayal of the main character’s parents. In a genre where family dynamics are so often weaponized for artificial trauma or heartbreaking rejection, seeing a family offer 100% unconditional, unwavering support in every single way was incredibly moving. His parents weren't just background characters; they were a foundational sanctuary. Seeing that level of acceptance at home allowed the protagonist to navigate the world with a sense of security that is rarely depicted so beautifully on screen. It was a refreshing, deeply emotional element that elevated the entire show.
This baseline of familial love directly mirrors the core romance of the series. At its heart, See Your Love is an exploration of what it truly means to be seen. The chemistry between the leads thrives not on loud declarations, but on the quiet relief of authentic acceptance. It tracks the beautiful journey of a protagonist finding someone who could love him entirely for exactly who he was, flaws and all. There is an exquisite vulnerability in watching two people build a safe harbor together, proving that love doesn't need to be volatile to be passionate or captivating.
Ultimately, See Your Love is a stunning, beautifully executed drama that handles its characters with the utmost care. Ugh, it is just gorgeous. While it may lack the life-or-death stakes of my usual favorites, it replaces them with emotional stakes that feel just as vital. It is a gentle reminder of the power of unconditional love, both from family and from a partner. If you are recovering from a devastatingly heavy show or simply need a narrative that feels like a warm hug, this tender masterpiece is the ultimate antidote.

Deaf people can do everything but hearing.

The first episode didn't convince me to keep watching, but luckily I almost always force myself to keep going and in this case it was definitely worth it. The actors (mainly the main characters, but of course, it also applies to the others) got into their roles perfectly. They gave the characters not only life, but above all humanity and something that makes them truly themselves.

While Shao Peng is a total sweetheart, I'd prefer to smother Zi Xiang with a pillow or at least tape his mouth shut and keep his mouth shut for a while. But the characters quickly become close, and after a little drama, the annoying Zi Xiang becomes a completely new person. His character development was incredible, and all of that only for Shao Peng, for whom he was willing to do anything just to stay with him. I liked the most when he said: "I'm goot at languages, this is just one of them. It's your language."

My 2025 resolution is to learn sign language, and with it jumping out at me from every direction now, I think I'll actually get around to it. I think we could all do without the drama in the last two episodes, so I'm just going to pretend nothing happened and that it was just a dream, because otherwise I'd have to take the star off, which I think is See your love does not deserve.

This is the type of show that is adorable and fluffy. A romance that feels organic and natural with the right amount of build up and movement. The romance between the two main leads is the focal point of the entire drama and their chemistry really shines and carries throughout. Well acted especially while also including a deaf lead character and expressing his challenges through life without hearing while also making sure that to the right people he will be seen as more than just deaf. I adore these two characters.

While this is very cute there is not much else there for the story. Most of the other characters are very superficially created with one or two character traits that help push the plot and that is about it. For example the fiance is just there to create drama and try to separate the couple, the cousin is there to create tension and a sense of urgency/danger, etc. These characters motives are almost juvenile and lack any real depth which leaves the drama feeling a bit flat when it comes to the plot. Did this effect my enjoyment of this show? No. Does it make for a great story? Also no.

But if you came for the chemistry and the romance then you will find it here. It is sweet and easy to watch like one of your favorite desserts. Not necessarily nutritious but definitely delicious.
