JoongDunk Stole the Spotlight in The Heart Killers
Now that The Heart Killers has ended, I have to admit… I was really only watching for Fadel and Style. Going into this, I already loved both FirstKhao and JoongDunk. FirstKhao has always been one of my absolute favorite pairings, and I’ve enjoyed JoongDunk too, but they weren’t at the top of my list—until now.To be honest, Kant and Bison’s storyline just didn’t pull me in the way I hoped. I still love First and Khao, but their dynamic in this show didn’t hit as hard for me. Meanwhile, JoongDunk completely stole my heart. Their chemistry, their emotional depth, the way their characters just clicked—I was obsessed. They were the highlight of the entire series for me, and now I love them so much more than I did before.
So yeah, The Heart Killers had its moments, but for me? It was the joondunk show all the way.
Looking back, I think one of the reasons JoongDunk didn’t impress me as much in their previous BLs was because the stories didn’t really suit them. It’s not that they were bad, but I feel like those roles didn’t bring out the best in them. But with The Heart Killers, Fadel and Style felt made for them. Their dynamic, the way they balanced each other out—it just worked so well.
As for Dunk’s acting, I actually think he’s good and has improved a lot. Of course, there’s always room for growth, but I honestly don’t get the hate he gets. He has a naturally relaxed face, which can make some expressions harder to convey, but you can tell he’s putting in the effort. And I respect that. Seeing him in this role made me appreciate him even more.

The Most Audacious Pair of Assassins!!!
It is exceptionally rare for me to begin a review with who I think literally steals this series from everyone. There is only one reason to watch this series. And that is because this story has Style. Style gave this series distinction. He IS the series and the only reason I finished this rather mundane and pedestrian story. Dunk Natachai as the character of Style brought such uniqueness to his persona from the beginning. Layered with arrogance, shallowness, pomposity and yet underlying it all was still a sense of sincerity. I could observe that he began his pursuit of Fadel (Joong Archen) simply as a challenge in the beginning. But once he undertook to know who Fadel was, he fell for him, hard and began to peel away at his exterior gruff layers, much like you peel an onion. As he did so with Fadel, he also peeled away at his own layers of shallowness surrounding himself. As he got Fadel to open his soul to him, he too did the same. With Dunk’s characterization however, I could sense and feel it deeply. His facial features and the way he looked at Fadel were not just about acting. It felt real. And oh, his love scenes with Fadel were not just fervently romantic; they were simply hot, erotic, and alluring. It has been ages, especially for a Thail BL, for me to actually feel a sensuousness emanating from an individual. He exuded it. Not only in words but in his expressions and his actions. It has also been a long time since I have been able to use the outdated term ‘it factor’ but he has it. He is the whole package. I never once felt as if he was faking it or ‘acting’ it out. He was genuine, sincere, even when he was being perhaps impish and immature in his approach to winning Fadel over. Deep-down, he projected such passion and intensity that he is the only Thai BL actor in an inordinate length of time that felt authentic. When he kissed, it looked sensual, seductive, and steamy. Excuse my vernacular, but his actions were hedonic, and his scenes made him tantalizingly erotic. Not afraid or ashamed to show it or be it. Something that has been missing in Thai BLs. He is an exceptional actor as he made it look so nature and unguarded. What a performance and kudos for making it feel so damn genuine.Read the complete article here-

NOT dark BUT spicy
I went into this expecting a dark drama and while there are mature themes sprinkled in, the vibe leans more toward comedy but I wasn’t mad about it, just a little surprised. Like, one minute I was watching someone get shot and the next, I was hit with the most unserious dialogues that had me questioning why I was even watching (but also unable to stop)FirstKhao ↓
First Kanaphan and Khaotung Thanawat, what the fuck can I even say? Seeing them together again felt like a homecoming. The moment they appeared on my screen I couldn’t help but scream. They have this unparalleled chemistry that no one else in the industry quite achieves. I missed them so much and they absolutely delivered. Watching them reunite reminded me of why they have become icons in the BL world. My kings are back hehe. First really balances his edgy exterior with just the right amount of vulnerability and Khao as Bison is HOLY HELL, he nails it. His portrayal is soft but with a charm that makes you understand why Kant couldn’t resist him the first moment he laid eyes on him lmao. Khaotung knows how to work the smallest expressions and the subtlest body language, to make him (and us) obsessed with him.
JoongDunk ↓
Now, I gotta be real...I wasn’t expecting to be blown away by JoongDunk. Their past performances never fully sold me so I went in with very low expectations. But Joong?? This man stepped up his game. His emotional scenes in this drama were so well done, he carried those moments in a way that actually hit me. I genuinely felt for his character which was a surprise because in previous projects, I didn’t connect with his acting. But here, he delivered. Dunk, on the other hand… Listen. He had his moments. His portrayal of Style’s chaotic energy was honestly entertaining as hell. There’s something about the way he plays unhinged, reckless characters that just works...he was fun to watch and I have to give him credit for that. But when it came to emotional moments? Hmm… still needs some work imo. That being said, the kissing scenes between them were INSANELY GOOD. They did not hold back and for that, I am grateful.
The Highlight ↓
One thing that really stood out to me was how well they balanced the screen time between both main couples. In a lot of dramas, one pair usually ends up taking center stage while the other gets pushed into the background as filler. But not here. Both couples got their own moments to shine and they served in ways that felt equal and intentional. It was refreshing to watch a drama that actually treated both love stories with the same level of care.
The Downside ↓
I can't say I loved every second of it. Because, babes…some scenes? STRAIGHT-UP CRINGE. Like, I physically recoiled at certain dialogues. The secondhand embarrassment was REAL. I get that some of it was meant to be funny but whew, some moments had me covering my face. Also, the sound issues were really putting me off...the audio quality was straight-up tragic in some parts.
↓↓↓
So this was a mixed bag for me. Some episodes had me fully invested, eyes glued to the screen, living for every second. Others had me side-eyeing my laptop.
Give it a try and see how YOU feel about it.

10/10 for this romantic comedy series, all thanks to JoongDunk as FadelStyle
JoongDunk and FadelStyle made me forget about it. Many other BL fans would come to watch a BL series just for the gay kiss but I even forgot The Heart Killers a BL series. It's like... when you're watching a nonBL nonGL series, usually you want to see the couple not because they're a man and a woman but because of their characters, alongside their own story.Tbh, I didn't have any clear picture for action aspect since director and the cast have been always consistent said The Heart Killers was a romantic comedy; action was its sub-genre only and presented as this series' concept. But it's surprised me, ngl. In a positive way. I think all of us agree they could have shown Lilly's related plot better, especially the clousure. However, Fadel with his background that forcely adopted under Lilly's wings also ended up as a hitman enduring consequences of his profession, is a very well-built character that has been impressed me greatly. He is the complex character everybody's rooting for. Throw-in Style in the mix, who is another super interesting character with his shameless personality but truly witty, a philosophical thinker behind his dark jokes, there I got a perfect pairing I've been loving so much while enjoying the whole wild ride from this series.
JoongDunk together have done a fantastic job in bringing life to their each character. Acting is about making something believable and they're obviously tailor-made for portraying FadelStyle. I'm feeling proud watching their remarkable progress to reach this far. FadelStyle's story and their dynamic are things I crave and savor every week.
12 episodes of romantic comedy series The Heart Killers. I had good laughs AND, unexpectedly, good cries too, all thanks to JoongDunk as FadelStyle.

I posted this on comment section at first, after watching Episode 11, and it's still relevant until the final. The Heart Killers is a highly recommended series if you're looking for entertainment in your free time.

Well...
What more can I say? I love this series. Hands Down is JoongDunk's best bl and the more adult characters fit them perfectly. Dunk has also improved. The story itself was interesting, it's a shame PepperJJ wasn't developed more. Honestly, this series deserves a few more episodes, especially at the very beginning, madly in love was too fast which I completely understand because they had to fit everything into 12 episodes. The only thing I would change is for them not to drag out the story with the mother until the last episode, and put something else in its place.I think it's my new comfort series.

KISS Me or KILL Me
Since the pilot trailer was released I thought finally GMMTV is gonna do something different, mature and something really dark. So my expectations were really different from what they served. I do have to agree with the fact it wasn't nothing like what I had expected but it was good in their usual way.First of all I have talk about the Director Jojo, whose idea's are different from the usual GMMTV directors. This guy likes to take risks, try to show something different. His overall works are good but his ending for the show's are kinda questionable because it will divide the audience in two parts. But yeah, I do wanna appreciate his works, they are enjoyable in their own way.
The Heart Killers is a enjoyable drama. Yes, it has many plot holes. A lot of the things doesn't make sense. There wasn't enough seriousness in the characters of Hitmen. It has many flaws but I liked the drama overall. It had comedy, emotions and love. Somehow the audience will be able to connect with the characters. And I guess that what mattered to me the most. It wasn't a entire stupid story afterall. It was kind of a drama you watch for once and you feel good. No, it wasn't a masterpiece neither a trash but a feel good drama with comforting character's. Well that's what I feel.
First and Khaotung both are great actors, they did an amazing job. But Joong and Dunk stole everyone's heart especially MINE. I have to confess this, I know Joong and Dunk since 2022 through their first drama Star and Sky: Star in my Mind. But I never liked them because of their acting. I was never interested in them either. Before watching this drama I had no expectations from them. I thought they are gonna do their usual thing. But they proved me wrong, they literally made me their fan. They just killed it. Their acting has improved a lot, yes they still need to do better. Like we can't compare their acting skills with FirstKhao yet or anytime soon but they were better this time. I was waiting every week just to see them and only them. They stole the show, so hat's off to JoongDunk aka FadelStyle.
There might be many reasons not to watch this drama but I'm gonna give only one reason to watch it. You guys have to watch it for Style and his crop tops!

Fun and entertaining watch
This show is a romcom about 2 hitmen brothers with 2 guys that are trying to gain information on them with one being a police informant, by making them fall in love with them. It is based on Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew (and the movie 10 Things I Hate About You). The aesthetic is very typical of Jojo's (the director) works with a strong 1980s retro American influence in music, decor and fashion. Is the story realistic of how hitmen and police informants work? No. But it is a very fun story with the 2 main couples KantBison and FadelStyle going through a cycle of betrayal, forgiveness and the ups and downs in their relationships. Both sets of actors FirstKhao & JoongDunk are skilled in their portrayals of their distinctive characters and have strong chemistry. FadelStyle's story arc is especially beautiful about accepting oneself and letting go of the past.
In the end, this is a romcom that doesn't take itself too seriously that teaches valuable life lessons along the way and can be watched in a lighthearted manner.

Great plot and the actors delivered comedy and hot scenes!
Two assassins in town are suspects of killing other criminals around, and also a young car-thief guy is looking for the police pardon to continue on his life. What about messing a infiltrator inside the assassins organization. Well, it started all well, with action and tense moments, but it went going more predictable and just fan service towards the ends of the show. The series do is recommended, has good plot and it delivers comedy, action and cute love BL scenes. The last episodes are missing "something", but they got to deliver the lovely happy ending for the couples. Also, something very interesting, it's that the main couple should feel like the little brother and the police infiltrate, but the second main couple deliver triple more chemistry and more spicy moments on screen, so they make the series worth watching more about Joong Archen and Dunk Natachai.
In the last episode, they said "no more killing" but there was quite lot killing about other criminal guards. And also one couple gets to own a restaurant and a car retailer shop, and the other one just a international trip, seems so unfair and dispair after so many years.
A good series to watch one time, to understand all the spicy BL references inside, and all the marketing it got, but maybe just worth watching once.

It was a crazy series that I watched????????
This is a crazy movie that I watched. It was insane, Dunk Natachai, thank you for killing all people watching you with your flirting and beauty🙏The plot, the production, the cast, the acting, the lighting, love scenes, crazy scenes, ost, it was all insane!❤️🔥❤️🔥Putting those scenes on this series is like pouring oil on an already blazing fire. After watching love scenes from here you realize how perfect two males together are, the chemistry and power dictated by the universe❤️🔥😍🔥🫶🌟🌹I will rewatch this hot series for many times and will come back hereWas this review helpful to you?

At some point I didn't know if they will end u together or not
It's so rare to see a drama which makes me wonder whether the main couple will end up together. The characteristics of each of them were so profound. The story progression was great and every episode gave me anticipation of what is going to happen next because of the way the couples went on and off. I had a hard time trusting any of them. FirstKhao, as usual did a very good job with their acting. They felt so natural and the emotional scenes were perfectly made. JoongDunk killed their characters. They are the ones that kept me going. The level of acting they served in this is better than all their previous works. The scenes were not rushed, which I loved so much. I wish the story had more depth and showcased more about the sideline plot about rich people and their abuse and the social problems etc. because I expected they will focus more on that. All in all it was a great watch and the emotional scenes were done so well.

Some heart, not enough killers.
Wasn't really sure if I was going to watch this at all, but ended up sticking around because Style (Dunk) in those crop tops!! Style really was the cherry on top for me as a whole actually. I don't think I've ever really been a huge fan of his acting, but he did so good in this series.Overall, I felt like this series was a little all over the place. It kind of had the same effect on me as Dangerous Romance. I was expecting a little more on the hired killers side of things, and I wanted it to be be a little darker. But it instead it felt a little cheap at points.
Also the tattoos on Kant (First) were.... not great. I tried to overlook them but ultimately couldn't.
The finale...just didn't do it for me. I didn't like the last minute drama tbh, I ended up forwarding through it. But glad both pairings got their happy endings.

If you did not watch The Heart Killers, then you don't have the right to breathe
The Heart Killers is not gruesome as some may expected. If you are not watching The Heart Killers while it was ongoing, then what are you doing in your life? Just kidding. To be honest, I am glad that I watched this series' episodes come-out one by one, because the pressure the time each episode comes-out and the need to trend it was different. The recognition and reward of seeing one of your favorite Boys Love series is an overwhelming feeling to yourself.Story - 9/10
I gave the story a 9/10, because it was great, but definitely have some improvements to be made of just for it to become perfect.
The Heart Killers' plot revolves around a thief (Kant) being tasked by a police captain (Christ) to sneak or investigate on a notorious hitmen brothers (Bison and Fadel). When Kant saw one of the hitmen brothers, Bison, he knew that person is a one night stand he cannot forget. So, what he did was flirt Bison. But he was stopped by Bison's scary older brother, Fadel. Fadel is the older brother of Bison and they own a burger shop.
Bison told Kant that Fadel has a closed heart, meaning that he do not and cannot trust anybody that easily. So, in order to fix that problem and continue spying on the hitmen brothers, Kant asked help from his best friend, Style. Style is a mechanic in their family business' car shop, hence fixing cars are his main job. At first, Style did not agree, but when Kant said that he will exchange his car for his help to flirt Style, he agreed immediately.
Style and Fadel met unexpectedly already, because of a car accident. Fadel's precious car was hit by Style. Since he is a mechanic he offered free service to Fadel and said that he'll fix his car. Fast forward, when Style knew that Fadel was the person that Kant wants him to flirt, he tried all ways in order to be near Fadel, with the help also of Bison giving Fadel's diary to Style.
Basically, the story revolves around Kant being tasked by the police to investigate and find evidence about a hitmen brothers, with added romance since Kant and Bison had feelings for each other, and Style pursuing Fadel to have a mutual feelings also with each other.
Acting/Cast - 10/10
You know, the precious gem of a story is really the actors and the characters that they are portraying. Even if the story and script was great, if the acting and chemistry of the characters suck, the series will be a total hit and miss.
Kant (First Kanaphan) - What would you do in exchange of freedom? Are you willing to sacrifice your love's freedom in exchange of your own? His character is really a chef's kiss main character because of how the occurrence of events happened because of his actions and decisions.
Bison (Khaotung Thanawat) - Wow, just wow! Khaotung is really a good actor, I think anyone can agree with me. Bison is such a menace and a crazy character. The way he decided what to do when he knew that Kant is spying on them, investigate them. The actions he made when he knew he was being used by his lover, I FUCKING LOVE IT. This is another time that a character and an actor really got into me, in a way that I love it so much.
KantBison (FirstKhaotung) - The chemistry is really good. Watching them in this series really satisfies me, because I saw their other series and the way they acted on those. Those NC scenes, really mesmerizing and admiring to watch. I did not even skip a single second on their NC scenes because of how natural they acted on those. It feels like they are not acting, rather just enjoying the moment they are doing those scenes.
Fadel (Joong Archen) - It is my first time seeing Joong acting and to be honest, he shocked me. His character is someone who cannot trust that easily because of valid reasons and as a person who is like that also, he got me. Fadel's acting is so good that he really felt like he is embodying the role given to him. Also, he is really hot as a person hehe
Style (Dunk Natachai) - Also my first time seeing Dunk's acting and I love it! Style's mannerisms are really good. His iconic lines such as "Good Morning Kub" is really what the viewers love about him. Another, I want to applaud the stylist because of how good his outfits are. An example is the iconic crop tops he wore during the series, it was really good. Dunk is really great on portraying this not so serious but series role he got.
FadelStyle (JoongDunk) - Many viewers really love their enemy to lovers? trope that their plot has. From Fadel being cold to Style at first to the efforts that Style took in order to become near Fadel. The efforts both their characters did in order for them to become lovers. The sacrifices and moments that broke them and the viewers are really good. No one can portray Fadel and Style better than Joong and Dunk, I must say.
In totality, I gave The Heart Killers a 9.5/10 because in my own opinion, it was really good, but close only to perfection. If the casts was not great, the plot and script will not be well executed and the viewers will not love it. A must recommended series to watch, because you will not only fall in love with the plot and the characters, but also to the actors as well. If you are not watching or you did not watch it yet, you do not have the right to breathe, just kidding. Go watch it!
EDIT: I just finished watching the last episode and to tell you guys, it was truly worth it watching this series. Just a caution for the last episode because if the first episodes' NC scenes are hot, then the last episode was blazing in purgatory as it was that hot! WATCH IT ALREADY!!!
