So far so good!! >.<
*The Heart Killers* is an exciting new Thai BL series that’s definitely worth keeping an eye on. It brings a fresh twist to the genre by blending romance with a touch of mystery and suspense, making it feel unique and captivating from the start. Im also very happy that we finally get a new joongdunk and khaofirst series!! :DThe leads have fantastic chemistry, and their interactions are full of tension and heartfelt moments that pull you in. The storyline is intriguing, balancing light romantic scenes with darker, more intense themes. On top of that, the production quality is impressive, with beautiful cinematography and a soundtrack that complements the mood perfectly.
What really stands out is how the show keeps you guessing. It doesn’t rely on typical BL tropes but still delivers the emotional moments fans love. That mix of unpredictability and heartfelt storytelling is what makes *The Heart Killers* so promising.
So far, it’s been a great ride, and I’m hoping the series keeps up the momentum. If it can stick the landing, it has the potential to be one of the best BL dramas this year. Fingers crossed it doesn’t disappoint! :33

A masterpiece!
FirstKhaotung and JoongDunk are completely killing it. The first episode brought so much already. This show is gonna be the best of 2024, I'm sure of it. I'm so excited for the next episode that I barely got any sleep. And the MV Destroy Love is freaking amazing. I'm so proud of my boys. This first episode already got 1M views on YouTube and this is only the beginning, I really hope for The Heart Killers to be a huge success around the world, because my boys really deserve this. They're giving they heart and soul for their characters. Was this review helpful to you?

A mature step
This was definitely a more mature and bold step for GMMTV. Some of which were done more successfully than others. The positives: Khaotung and Joong!!! They were the best part of the show! They had good command of their scenes. They had great chemistry. You really felt like they were brothers. I knew this about Khaotung but Joong was a surprise. They both are cut from the same cloth in terms of nailing emotions and nonverbals. Those two were at the center of my favorite scenes in the show! I hope they get to act together again. Also this did have a more mature feel. There were conversations about more significant topics that I appreciated, such as personal preferences, trust and interpersonal relationships. My favorite story line in the whole show was seeing Fadel realize he is worthy of love and seeing how a partner stays with him and fights for their relationships. That was truly special. I applaud Joong and Dunk for their great scenes to bring that story line to life. I will also say that I was happy with the character development we got from the leads, especially from Fadel and Style. It is always rewarding to be with characters for five plus years and to actually see them grow up. Another special highlight was the police captain making a reference to Prison Break. I was thinking that before hand and it surprised me so much to see a very specific reference to my favorite show and to main character. Gold star to the writers for that one.
Areas to work on: This was not Firsts' best work, which was a little disappointing. A lot of his delivery was said not felt. Some of the supporting actors were very green. Also the writing was a little frustrating. Even though it did make me laugh often. I felt like the writers did not have the strongest ideas of what to do. I wished the actors could been given more to work with. It also bothered me that these hit men had no trade craft. I'm amazed they survived as long as they did.

it could’ve been better
To be honest, I expected more from this drama and sometimes it lived up to my expectations but some episodes and storylines were just bad. I was excited to watch it and I waited for it but I think the plot declined with every episode. In my opinion, KantBison storyline was boring and I mostly watched it on 2x speed, FadelStlyle storyline was much better but for some reason at the end it got boring. 12th episode felt really empty and even the scene with Lily didn’t have the same energy and emotions it should’ve had, it just didn’t feel right at all. I was also disappointed that no one on the team did a research on the Indigenous peoples and referred to them how they did, it was a mood breaker for me. With all it being said, I still enjoyed the show and waited for it every week. It was emotional and sexy at times, I enjoyed Style a lot and he is probably my favourite character in the show. The chemistry between all the actors is incredible and it’s interesting to see the interactions between the characters since they all have such different dynamics and personalities. Plot had it’s strengths and it was enjoyable to watch but I think at times it was just too simple or not executed as great. I also wanna add that the music was probably my favourite part of the series, not just the OST’s but the music used in the show, all the actors are good singers (in my humble opinion) and these OST’s are probably one of the best to come out in the past two years. Overall, I did like this drama and I enjoyed it a lot but the ending just didn’t live up to my expectations. Was this review helpful to you?

It was mid.
I have to say, I was so excited going into this drama. I love both JoongDunk and FirstKhao, and was looking forward to them both doing this concept, as I wanted them to do so. But although I did find myself truly enjoying this series and was invested in it, it seemed very rushed and lacked a lot of strong points. I thought that they could have added much more to the plot, as it did not seem that they thought it out, if you ask me. This just seemed like they only wanted to put something out, not worrying about the quality. JoongDunk and FirstKhao themselves have amazing chemistry, which does keep us intrigued, but I'm sorry, this series did not seem to focus on what the viewers would think.FirstKhao is on my top five favorite pairings, but their characters in this did not pull me the way I hoped. Their dynamic with the plot did not hit hard, which was disappointing. I would much rather watch all their other series together because they work better.
JoongDunk is also somewhere on my top five favorite pairings, and unlike FirstKhao's characters in this, I enjoyed the way Fadel and Style clicked in here. Joong's character, Fadel, has more depth than his brother, more storyline. Which is why I believe I enjoyed the series the way I did. And Dunk's character, Style, fit perfectly with him. Style added a bit of comedic relief. I don't understand why Dunk got so much hate for this. His facial structure is more on the relaxed side, making it hard to convey the emotional expressions you must display; however, it never felt forced.
Overall, both pairs did okay to make the show worth watching with what they could do. This series definitely seemed more about quantity than quality. However, I believe that if they had put much effort into the plot and script itself, even if that meant more episodes, then the show would have turned out better. The plot and script are the selling points; it's what keeps viewers interested. No matter who you cast or how great the chemistry between them may be, without a great plot, the show becomes boring and leaves a negative impression for people to just click off. Not to mention the ending of the final episode? I'm sorry, but it looked bad, obviously low budget, and downright rushed. I've seen many other works from this network, and I know they are much better about the plots and quality, which is why I believe they focused too much on just getting something out. In the end, I am surprisingly disappointed about the lasting impression of this series because I had high hopes for it.

Tempting
The first episode of *The Heart Killers* is an impressive start, full of excitement, mystery, and romance. Kant, played by First Kanaphan, stands out as a bold and edgy tattoo artist drawn into a dangerous mission. Khaotung Thanawat as Bison is equally captivating, balancing innocence and mystery in a way that keeps every scene engaging.Joong Archen as Fadel and Dunk Natachai as Style add interesting dynamics to the story, making their characters feel fresh and intriguing. The storytelling is smooth, the visuals are stunning, and the chemistry between the characters is amazing.
With 11 episodes left, the show promises to deliver even more twists and emotions. It’s an exciting start that leaves you ready for what’s coming next.

great show in every episode
I have been hooked on this show and is a solid 10/10. given timezone I set my alarm to wake early to watch the released episode before work then obsess for 7 days until I do it again.both couples are great. I love the diversity in their acting from their usual styles. it has a great storyline with good spice to it. rare to see a show that has good storyline, acting, spice and overall production.
I hope joingdunk do another series similar to this one that has a strong storyline and strong characters.

It is a 10/10 across the board. Both couples did so well!! Definite rewatch.
Honestly this series is genuinely so good. I will be definitely rewatching when this series has finished. As soon as i saw that FirstKhao and JoongDunk were going to be starring in this show i immediately knew that this would be ine of the best series i have seen. The cinematography is just so good and amazing. The plost and story had me on the edge of my seat waiting for the next episode. Trust me when i say each episode keeps you on the hook waiting to see the next one. The acting is honeslty so good and i know that Dunk isnt the best but he has performed so well in the heart killers, he has improved so much. The spice level is definitely alot but the chemistry and the tension in those type of scenes is what makes that scene so good. This series is definitely a 10/10 and a definite rewatch. The acting and the cast did so amazing and i cant say they could have done it any better. The music and the ost are so addictive and so nixe to listen to. They are especially well because the cast sings some of the music aswell. Joongdunk performed so well in this series it is definitely a change from hidden agenda. Firstkhao honestly never disappoints as they act together so well and their chemistry is unmatched. Trust me when i say you should definitely wacth this series because it is one of the best i have personally watched. Was this review helpful to you?
One of the best thai bl dramas I've watched in a long time!
As someone who watched several bl dramas, the heart killers was completely new, unique and exciting for me. I would absolutely recommend it!I cannot even begin to explain how thrilling it was to wait for each episode to release every week.
The plot kept me engaged right till the end and I couldn't have asked for a better ending let alone storyline. The plot, actors/acting and every aspect of this drama overall was really just a masterpiece.
If you are having any doubts about watching THK then don't because you won't regret it.
I genuinely hope that they release more bl dramas like this and props to the director and actors for doing such a spectacular job.
Whoever decided to pair JoongDunk and FirstKhao knew what they were doing because their acting and chemistry together warmed my heart.
With that being said, I won't give any spoilers just that there's no need to worry about anyone dying as the series ends perfectly.

It Has Style!
There is only one reason to watch this series. And that is because this story has Style. Style gave this series distinction. He IS the series and the only reason I finished this rather mundane and pedestrian story. Principally, the story is ridiculously silly. The whole story was so superficial and unoriginal. The ending was completely laughable. What I also detested about this series was the trickery of the plot into making it look like these guys were saints when fundamentally, they were sinners. You had murderers fall in love with two guys, who were scam artists and fast talkers and ‘sold them out’ as the expression poetically goes. They betrayed their trust. We tend to not want to see that as part of the story, but it is. Frankly it is all of that and more, which makes the story ugly and twisted. Hence, this plot and theme became so disconcerting. The story is lifeless, trite, cliché, unrealistic, and a version or a form of a storyline that has been done in the past. Only exaggerated to an unbelievability level. Dunk as Style gave this series just the push it needed to keep my interest. Otherwise, I would have dropped this series. Was this review helpful to you?
Cute
Indeed, the actors impersonating Style and Fadel made the show. While FirstKhao acted well as usually, their performance wasn't necessarily impressive. The second couple did way better, and somehow it felt as they were the main couple. So, yes, it's only fair to say that they stole the spotlight. The pace was good most of the time, but not always. The action was dragging at some point. To me, the last two episodes were the best, as I greatly enjoyed Style's and Kant's devotion to their respective lovers, their crazy proofs of love and loyalty, their solid, undeniable willingness to sacrifice. It was actually a sane craziness, if I may say so, because they were fighting their not so good situation in order to gain a normal life, a better future with their loved ones. Their actions were touching, heartwarming. I found myself smiling the whole length of these two last episodes.
Also, the actress impersonating Lily (Mum) did a very good job, as she was obnoxious from the very second she appeared to the very last. She did a great job as the antagonist.
Something I have never imagined myself saying, as I never pay attention to the music (unless it really annoys me): the music in this film was great, actually much better than the film itself.
In conclusion, it's a blend of action and fluff, worth watching if heartwarming stuff is what you're looking for.
