oof. okay, i'll say one thing i liked first! it's joong. i think him playing this brooding type of character worked for me... in some scenes i guess (except the part when he started dancing in that one scene. i sped that up, pls). with that said, this was so bad lol. on paper, i thought this plot was exciting and fun but the way it was executed was such a letdown. it was supposed to be action packed but the action scenes we got was pretty boring and lame. the stakes are supposed to be high but it never felt that way. the tone was dark-ish, but because of the scenarios they put the characters in and the dialogues they made them say, it just ended up being corny and cringe. and hey, i do consume my corny BLs but when a drama take itself this seriously (but fails at execution), it's not fun. the main villain, their mother, was so lame the whole time. the stunt she pulled on the last episode was so bad, it's funny! i was hoping i'd like it better once they reveal the betrayal happening but alas, i didn't! that was supposed to be an exciting and thrilling moment but it never went there.

one thing i was betting on was liking the characters at least but i also did not feel connected to any of them. they're just not written well. that's it. all four of them were boring and one-dimensional. i did not believe the romance between them. it felt like there was really no buildup or emotional connection that i find it laughable when kant and style were suddenly willing to sacrifice their lives just to save bison and fadel. and again, so much questionable dialogues that didn't even make sense in certain scenarios. and i know that sex scenes sell well, but man, they really did put a lot of their energy on scenes like that but not on the writing. most of the romantic scenes are just poorly played. acting-wise, i don't know, i guess i hated the writing so much that it affected how i see these actors? no one stood out. i think khaotung was showing some great acting in a couple emotional scenes and again, joong brooding worked for me at times but overall, i was not impressed. dunk is still really awkward at emotional scenes.

so yeah. i'm very disappointed by this. i really had such high hopes.

The potential was there, but..

The potential was there, it was an interesting plot, but the script didn't do any justice to that plot.
FirstKhao are amazing actors with great chemistry, they never disappoint, but they couldn't save this mess.
Joong was incredible too, he put his everything. Dunk is a sweet person, but he really needs to work more on his acting and facial expressions, it doesn't matter he and Joong has an amazing chemistry if his acting can't make you feel what his character is trying to show us.
They also made the episodes too long with a lot of unnecessary scenes and dragging the story.

Heart Killer the series review

I saw this series first episode on last Wednesday and i really loved this whole series. Fadel and Styles chemistry is topnotch, the way they tease each other throughout the episode is epic. Style is my favourite character of this series. The whole episode is filled with love, teasing and comedy. Whenever Kant and bison are about to kiss after their one night stand fadel appears, I laughed a lot while watching those scenes. Kant and bison are being cute in their own world making me love them more. Overall the first episode was amazing. Joong dunk and First Khaotung are perfect people for their respective roles in this series. This series is added to another one of my favourite dramas from this year. Thanks gmmtv for another one of your amazing series this year.

Incredible So Far!!

I've been seeing a lot of backlash for this series on Twitter and in reviews and stuff and that really bothers me so I'm here to leave MY review of the FIRST episode. considering only the pilot is out at this moment, it's amazing to me how many people have decided that this series sucks, I have a few things I want to mention about the backlash first.

One being all the people talking about the NC scenes; you guys complained for forever that GMMTV did not include enough NC scenes in their series, and now that they have p'Jojo directing more mature series, AS HE ALWAYS HAS, suddenly it's a problem?? So many of you are very contradicting with your words & "criticism" it's astonishing.

Secondly, how are you going to judge a series before it's finished? The show has barely landed on its feet yet because ONLY THE FIRST EPISODE HAS COME OUT!! please put your thinking caps on for a moment before you review a series that you, one, either haven't watched or two; don't want to watch. if you already know before you watch the show that you don't like the actors or the directors style, then DON'T watch the series?? why are you watching something YOU DON'T WANT TO WATCH just to come on the internet and complain about it?? I'm serious. there's SO many other things you could be doing with your free time then forcing yourself to sit through something you don't want to watch.

Anyways!! all that negativity aside, I love the vibe of the series so far and every actor is killing it, I'm LIVING for Fadelstyle!! I can't wait to see the story develop, since in the trailer it seems like most of the scenes are going to be in the first few episodes, so the plot points from there on is going to come as a surprise which is very exciting!! p'Jojo is incredible as always, Wednesdays have now become an important part of my schedule, so thank you so much!! 🩷😊
