Beautiful Darkness

A really interesting thriller drama that explores the flaws and weaknesses of human nature through each and every of its characters in great detail. The story as a whole doesn't leave you in awe, but the mystery is handled really well with every episode offering a new piece to the puzzle, while still keeping you in the dark. The beautiful cinematography and atmospheric direction only add to an already well-executed series, amplifying its darkness and giving it a distinctive identity.

As for the acting, I can only praise the cast. All of its members are accomplished actors with experience that contributed to this beautiful result, portraying their characters in the best possible way. Especially, the girls did a magnificent job and truly got to shine.

I definitely recommend this series to fans of the genre. It's a well-paced show that doesn't drag or gets boring. It successfully keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very last moment.

Who is good and who is bad?

The series wonderfully shows how multifaceted a family can be and how differently everyone perceives it.
The dynamic between the three older sisters and the youngest makes you curious for more. You can really immerse yourself in the story, and I thought it was wonderful that each sister had her own story. The story was exciting and had some good twists to keep you gripped while watching.
The male characters were all more in the background, but they had an important impact that added more details to the story.
The acting was really good, and overall, it was a really good plot.
Unfortunately, I have to say that the ending didn't completely grab me, but maybe there will be a second season. I have the feeling it's a series with a lot of potential for more.
Nonetheless I highly recommended it.

One day people will forget, Karma will not.

A mystery thriller that dives deeply into how corrupt a family can become when everything is built on lies. While holding many dark tones and tackling more serious matters, the suspense carried through to every episode. Something that I personally really liked was seeing the points of view of all of the characters rather than just seeing everything through the lens of just one person. The storytelling was well-paced in my opinion, while leaving me on the edge of my seat with each release — I highly recommend this to those who like this time of genre and anything to do with true crime, with a heavily female-focused story. The way the storyline is laid out leaves a feeling as if you are a part of the story itself. You are just as lost and clueless as the characters on screen, and you learn alongside them.

The casting was a chef's kiss for every single character; each role was played out so beautifully. Even though some roles had to be recast, I think the final picks were perfect. Every talent that worked on this drama deserves to have their flowers. I felt as though the actors/actresses truly got a hold of who their character was at their core and showed it through their talents. Not a single person lacked in that department, which made everything so much better.

Without saying too much, the ending had left a bad taste in my mouth in the sense that I did not feel as though it had many questions left unanswered. Other than that, I highly enjoyed the series and would most definitely watch this over again... maybe even more than once.

I trust you. As part of my family, I trust you… that is, not at all.

I hesitate to say too much here, because I feel like you should really let the series surprise you.

What you need to know:The Bupphachinda sisters are at their breaking point. Their plan is to risk everything to keep the truth to themselves and hide all the dirty little secrets they have. They also need to find out what happened to their sister — and to their family as a whole — and, last but not least, they shouldn’t trust anyone... not even each other.
Of coursee, things never go as planned.
They get a glimpse of what was, and it’s anything but what they expected.
The story deals heavily with murder, sorrow, betrayal, deceit, distrust, dysfunctional family dynamics, and mental health struggles.
My experience:
From the first episode, my heart was in a vice. I was constantly guessing, theorizing, second-guessing every smile and every word — and yet, beneath the tension, there was this aching sadness I couldn’t shake. The youngest sister is gone. Another (Picha) tries to play the victim and at the same time meets an old friend — or perhaps a new love — whom she must deceive. Baibua stands at the edge of desperation, facing a chance to finally have what she thought she always wanted. Chomphu — beautiful and confident, but actually, deep down, vulnerable and deeply unhappy.
Around them swirl the sweet cousin, the domineering father, the mother who raised them to be wary of everyone, even each other, the strange maid, the unsettling uncle, and a whole web of secrets waiting to be revealed.
I screamed at the characters more times than I can count — Why would you do that?! — and yet, when the truth finally unraveled, I just sat there and thought: Yes. I understand.
Final thoughts:
Hide & Sis is a haunting tale of regret, sorrow, lies, and unconditional love — the kind that may not look like love at all, but still binds people together in ways they can’t escape.

Stellar Cast Delivers a Dark, Gripping Story

First off, hats off to the cast, especially the actresses. They literally gave their all, and their performances are truly remarkable.

This series is undeniably entertaining, and waiting each week for the conclusion, even if it was predictable, was genuinely enjoyable. Beyond just entertainment, the show delves into a poignant theme: the devastating impact of a violent, abusive, and incestuous upbringing. It suggests that such an environment makes it difficult, if not impossible, to become a functional adult free from vice and manipulation.

Let's be honest, none of the four sisters are truly "good" people, but that's precisely what makes the narrative so fascinating. It's refreshing to see complex, flawed female characters on screen, and the series invites us to root for their "wickedness." As for the male characters... let's just say they're odd.

For those considering watching, be aware that the series tackles sensitive subjects. Potential trigger warnings include sexual assault (SA), revenge porn, and abuse.

Wow!!

An amazing story about the rivalry between sisters. Every time you think you know the plot, there is another twist! It just keeps you guessing and i love it!

The visuals are stunning and the music good.

The acting is amazing, the whole cast was so good.
Until now i had only seen Mond in roles of bad guys and he is perfect for that. But this time he had a "soft" role and he also nailed this, what a great actor.

Definatly a must see!
I probably will watch this agin in the future.

Family, betrayal and lies

Never trust anyone, thats what we learn here. Not even your own family.
I support women's rights and wrong

A rich familly who do bad things and hide it. Cheating, killing, lying, they get away from everything, until someone won't let them.
A nice thriller, I did expect the killer to be her (the cousin I mean). But what a plot twist

I did like the color they use for the show, kinda dark but it make some actress look very ghosty.

A women centred show, please give GMMTV girls more show to shine.
All the actress played very well their characters.

To be honest, choosing Piploy and Jingjing as sister isn't a great choice TT

Only flaw is the unecessary lovestory.

could have been mind-blowing but

a series with all my fave girls, ofc i would watch it.
i had high expectations for this and they did deliver for the first few episodes. there was the element of the unreliable narrator and all the 3 sisters being suspicious was good. but then some things started to get repetitive. i feel like a good 40% of this series was 'don't trust your family-family is all u have-everybody else are liars-everyone is selfish'. i get that we are trying to give a message but at some point it gets too much.
i guessed the killers cause they were portrayed as very innocent ppl. the characters were kind of inconsistent. chatfah was shown to not care abt her sisters but suddenly at her deathbed she loves them so much? and picha being another affair baby, whose child is she and why did the mother hate her so much while she was the father's fave. they gave too much details abt bua and chom's characters, it didn't keep the mystery of the series. they were rich ppl but didn't have basic security or any power over the police (which rich ppl usually do). ending with the all ' we are sisters, we love and hate each other' concept was so boring.
all the male characters were useless we could have avoided almost all of them.
at least the girls had great outfits throughout the series. now it's time to wait for 10000 years until gmmtv gives us another female centric show.

A Gripping Show with a few weak spots

It had been a long time since I watched a series that pulled me in from the very first episode, but Hide and Sis did just that. The show is a mix of thriller, drama, and suspense, and what I liked most is that it didn’t overdo any of these elements. The story actually made sense, which is something I really appreciate. Many thrillers get so caught up in shocking twists that they lose track of the main plot, but here, everything tied together in a way that felt natural and easy to follow.

The suspense throughout the series kept me hooked, but I have to admit I was a little let down by the ending. The buildup was strong, but when it came to the final reveal, it felt like the answers were simply handed to us. Instead of giving the audience the feeling that we were solving the mystery along with the characters, the show made it seem like someone else had figured it all out and was just explaining it. This took away from the thrill of discovery and made the ending feel less powerful than it could have been.

The four sisters at the center of the story are definitely the heart of the show. Their relationship drives the narrative, and some of their emotional scenes were truly moving. At times, their performances hit exactly the right note, showing pain, love, and conflict in ways that felt very real.

However, I also felt that their characters could have shown more variety. The sisters had so much scope to display emotions like jealousy, selfishness, or inner strength, but the show seemed to fall back on one main expression: crying. While crying is a powerful tool in emotional storytelling, it was used far too often here. After a while, it started to feel repetitive, almost like the same reaction was being played out again and again, this weakened the impact of certain scenes.

That said, these flaws didn’t stop me from enjoying the series overall. The story was well-paced, the suspense felt natural, and it was the kind of show that made me want to keep watching without breaks. The way it balanced drama with mystery made it very binge-worthy.

GMMTV ACTRESSES!!!

WOW!!! GMMTV ACTRESSES NEVER DISAPPOINT!!! From the very first scene this series pulled me in and I couldn’t stop watching. The actresses Janhae, Aye, Piploy, Jingjing and Ployphat were INCREDIBLE, making every emotion feel completely real, bringing depth and authenticity to their characters. The story was gripping with just the right mix of drama, mystery and those jaw-dropping plot twists. The suspense never let up and by the finale I was fully invested. I love GMMTV’s female leading series and I hope to see more in the future. GMM better treat the QUEENS right!
Nevertheless Hide and Sis is a must-watch!

One of the best crime mystery thriller I have ever seen

What a roller coaster ride with a great ending. Every moment of the drama kept me on my toes. Every episode I held my breath. The suspense done well, scenes directed beautifully and with top notch acting Hide & Sis is easily one of the best dramas I have ever seen.

There was little to no plot holes. The plot went amazing, the motives of everything was rational enough. Every little details held a lot of meaning. They managed to keep the suspense till the very end. The plot is well made, maintained and very absorbing.

The cinematography and direction was splendid. Whoever color graded it did an amazing job. The stylists understood the assignment, loved the monochrome shades. All the scenes were directed so intensely I couldn't move my eyes from the screen even for a second.

The actresses, Janhae, Piploy, Jingjing, Ploypacg and Aye deserve a standing ovation for what they did with their roles. I always love watching Chimon in dark characters, he is made for this. Luke, Gawin, Mond, Guy and everyone else involved did justice to their characters.

What a well made drama. If you love crime mystery thriller this is what you need to watch.
