Absolutely brilliant series that will give you butterflies
I love meta series that are about the entertainment industry (also see: Lovely Writer and To My Star), and ThamePo turned out to be no exception.This series follows the ascent of idol group Mars (played by actual idol group LYKN) and the challenges that come with fame. In exchange for creating that perfect image, idols give up privacy and a love life, and all important decisions about their future are made on their behalf.
Believe me when I say that the visuals in this series are a solid 10/10. And oh man, this show had me kicking my feet and screaming.
Many elements of Thame and Po’s relationship trajectory were wildly unrealistic and illogical – even Est admitted that dating in real life doesn’t happen this way. But that’s also what made the show so good. The relationship development is a glorious slowburn and the romance was romancing HARD.
I think the success of ThamePo lies in all its characters and the relationship that each of them have with each other. It's a story that goes beyond William and Est.

Things I'm concerned about ThamePo the series.
I love ThamePo, but there are some things I don’t understand about this series. Overall, it’s great, and I appreciate how it restores the true meaning of romance in a series. However, I think everyone would agree that it’s not perfect for some reasons. LYKNEst poured their hearts into this series, and it was a success. But the sofa inside Po’s apartment bothers me so much. Why did they have to do it on the sofa? The sofa completely blocked the part where Thame was about to go down—boggie, go down! It just ruined the whole shot rawr. That damn sofa inside Po’s apartment! But then I realized… Po’s sofa is still better than doing it inside Mars' shared house. This is just a random review, and honestly, I was thinking about Wesley while writing this. That kid can’t even walk with those little feet. but he's cute and color blue with a smile. So you see, when it comes to color grading, editing, and the overall experience, ThamePo is excellent—almost perfect. But when it comes to that part… count me out.Was this review helpful to you?
love the series
Must watch everyone. i love this series a lot.. both main actor thamepo so cute and handsome .. Both ARE SO SHY LOL..both have feelings, love ,care and understanding for each other still not able to speck haha so cute..
group of music band in that group all actors are so cool and nice, and as usual friendship for all 5 are best. i wish GMMTV made more series with them and thamepo also. i feel so bad i finished that series. lol

Ten stars solely for the jundylan sneak at the end
The actual show is a pretty solid 8.5 or 9 out of 10 though. It's not groundbreaking but it's very well rounded. The show doesn't really try to do anything too risky (people keep saying Thamepo is "so brave for calling out fan behavior" as if Only Boos, which is set in the same universe btw, didn't have the same plotline lmao) but everything it did try to incorporate into the story was written tastefully. Although the music is pretty generic pop, the vocals and choreo in the show was very good. The boy band in the show, MARS was played by a actual boy band and it shows. The casting of this show was definitely the standout part.Also this show is amazing advertisement for LYKN (the band that plays Mars) cause unironically this show was the only thing that's ever managed to get me into a boy band. (Hong is now my bias. Really hoping the GMMTV Capitalism machine blesses us with more NutHong/ JunDylan content)

My Heart Really Skipped a Beat With This One
I don't know where to start from. Damn!! This was worth the 13 weeks I spent. I have dropped GMMTV dramas for a while now since 'Hidden Love's flop but this brought me back to GMMTV. Didn't even know about this sweet drama until episode 3 the phone call scene.Thame: I fell in love with Thame and William. His soft sooting voice almost killed me and how much of a green forest he is. I love his communication and the way he conveys his feelings about Po, he doesn't really need to say the conventional words but we feel and know exactly how he feels about Po and Mars.
Their break up scene was so emotional that I cried so much in such a long time.
His words are so poetic and he's the one I will miss the most.
Po: My big teddy bear. Looks like a tough guy but is so soft inside. He knew one thing and one thing alone, he liked Thame so much and Thame liked him. He was the only one that truly understood Mars and the bond the shared.
Pepper: The big brother of the group, he's so mature and my heart broke for him during the whole Gam issue. So happy they came back together.
Jun: The clown😂😂. He was so annoying at the beginning but he later grew on me. I'm so ready for JunDylan. ❤️
Dylan: Mr rapper and hot tantrums. He's so handsome and lyrically talented. Love his role and I can't wait for DylanJun. ❤️
Nano: Our baby. He's the one I want protected most in the group. He's so cute and talented. And most importantly he's the Captain of the DylanJun ship.
Pemika: She was so realistic and played her part of portraying what really goes on in the entertainment industry.
I hope we as fans pick one or two lessons from this. We love our Idols but they have a life too and deserve to be happy by loving whomever they want to love and being themselves.
I will miss ThamePo: Heart That Skips A Beat alot. ❤️

Heart-warming series
if you’re feeling down you should watch this one. It not only evolves love but also friendships. Especially, thanks to this series, I realize that when you have love, life is worth living.Acting: even though this is LYNK’s first series, they did such an excellent job! Est’s acting improved dramatically. Since I only watch his other series “Love by chance 2”, he was terrible in it, I was surprised at his transformation.
Plot: love will conquer it all. The realistic in this series is quite up to date and not too forced.
Music: ear-melting!!! If you have listened to William’s Last twilight OST, you won’t be disappointed with him singing in this series. Est also sang in this and his voice is unique.

Absolutely amazing
Thamepo is a breath of fresh air,is hard to believe that William Is a rookie actor,the actors are doing justice to every character,the chemistry ,the romance ,the friendship,Whoever wrote the story line and did the casting deserve a raise,This series is jux too good .it have been long we saw this kind of amazing storyline in a gmmtv bl,I hope they give William and est more drama ,because this duo are so good.Why this drama is worth watching :

One of GMMTVs best shows
This is easily one of GMMTVs best shows ever, with brilliant casting and so much clear care visible in the cast and crew. Casting LYKN to play as MARS was such a perfect choice, and P'Est is the perfect addition to the group. There were so many subtleties in this show that made it so memorable, like the hints of Thamedylan and eventually Jundylan as well.I really hope this gets a feature in GMMTVs next OurSkyy season in a few years, and that they finally give us jundylan (PLEEEEASE)

The scorching slow burn we all needed!
This drama comes at a time when toxic fandom is causing a lot of harm to entertainers. The very People we claim to bring us joy and comfort.This slow burn depicted how idols struggle to attain success. Often forced to sacrifice love or living authentically in order not to get their “fans” mad. It has some powerful commentary on how capitalism’s choke hold on art and the entertainment industry hurts all of us from the consumer to the idol.
Social commentary aside its a beautiful love story. Po barely existing after the end of a toxic relationship in which his partner just took everything he could from him, then dropping him when he did not fit his new successful life. So many people can relate, supporting your partner financially and emotionally, while neglecting yourself only to be left behind when they reach new heights. Thame just wanting to make music with his band, but only being considered a commodity to his record label and isolated from those he loves. Thame and Po are perfect for each other. They see each other, they cherish each other and build each other up.
Let’s not forget the member of Mars! Often serving as our OTPs Greek chorus are adorable and hilarious! The supporting characters are fleshed out even those we hated.
This drama had me kicking my feet, giggling and waiting for Fridays to come. If you were waiting for the finale to hit play, don’t wait anymore. Happy Watching!

came out a williamest lover
yes i will meat ride this series till the day i die! the storyline is amazing and the way this series handled the problems wasn’t cringeworthy at all. i wasn’t really expecting much and i was truly blown away. who says by mars was kinda giving fact check by nct127 which is a 10/10 in my books. music was great, acting was great, cinematography was great. if you haven’t watched YOU ARE MISSING OUTTTTT !! gmm chop chop and give williamest another series ASAPPPPPWas this review helpful to you?
