loved every second of it, rewatched it 2 days after finishing it!!!!
one of my favorite shows rn.when i started the show I didn't know William, LYKN o Est and i was a bit skeptical at first, you know, a boyband in a series, a lot of singing, and we know how much we suffer when a bl actor picks up a guitar ... but i must say i pleasently changed my mind. it's brilliant.
First of all, the storyline is amazing, no dull moment in the plot, no useless episodes, the story unrevoled in a slow yet pleasant way. And i say it because i am the first to skip half episode if it gets too slow or boring, bit never have i ever touched the computer since i started watching the show. It was amazing, and the acting went soooo well with the storyline, like every character was portrailed perfectly for each member of the cast, no disappoinment.
The chemestry was on fire, i love williamest now, i just cant with those two, i was kicking my feet like a 2yo. Every interaction was soooo cute and they captured my soul. I have rewatched this series soo many times i know it by heart and i recommend it to everybody. it's like fresh air in the world of bl's, i have watched so many but no one felt like this: no useless drama, or stupid break up's .... it was just right

More Than Just an Idol Story
I honestly didn’t expect to love ThamePo this much, but it completely won me over. What really stood out to me is how well-written the characters are. Each one feels real and layered, and watching their growth throughout the story was so satisfying. The character development wasn’t rushed... it felt natural, and you could really see how their experiences shaped them.
The story itself is engaging, but what made it even more meaningful is how it tackled real issues in the idol industry. The pressure of not being allowed to date, the constant need to choose between love and fans, and the hidden struggles behind fame and success… these are things that actually happen in real life. I really appreciate that the series didn’t shy away from these conversations and instead brought them to light in a thoughtful way.
Another thing I absolutely loved is the friendship dynamics. The bond between the characters felt genuine and heartwarming, adding so much depth to the overall story.
And the OST? Completely unforgettable. I’ve been having serious LSS from the love songs. They just hit differently and elevate every emotional scene.
Lastly, the ending was perfect for me. It wrapped things up in a way that felt fulfilling and true to the characters.
Overall, ThamePo is a series that surprised me in the best way possible. I didn’t expect to fall this hard, but here I am... completely in love with it.

Loved this so much!
Omg this series was gold. The acting was so good, especially for LYKN since this is their first series. WilliamEst chemistry ATE and all the side characters were interesting and had good chemistry too. The story felt very real and never felt boring. I was only sad I had to wait an entire week in between each episode 😭 I will be definitely rewatching this at least once a year as a tradition. Very well done! ❤️Was this review helpful to you?

A story that felt like home
ThamePo and Williamest has been my comfort place. A place of warmth and understanding. From the first episode, it wrapped me up in its world, not just with romance, but with healing, growth, and love that spoke through unspoken moments.William and Est brought something truly special to the screen. Their chemistry wasn’t just seen, it was felt in every glance, every hesitation, and every raw and tender moment. Their story unfolded with an emotional depth that lingered long after the credit roll.
Knowing it’s over is sad. Now I won’t be so excited every week, awaiting fridays. Thank you William and Est for everything.

I can't believe that GMM did a great show...
Honestly, for a company that always does the minimum... ThamePo is a piece of art. Something insanely different. Parbdee photography is always on top... the scenes, the construction of each frame, scenarios. They are so passionate!!P'Mui did an insane job, is so clear that she did the screenwriting and also the directing, every single piece, every single episode is made with love, passion. You can obviously see that the team believed and cherished the history that was being told.
I don't agree that it's a slow burn, tho. I think that we're so used to seeing fast-paced (and unreal) BLs that a relationship that is developed at a normal pace (especially with Thame's life falling apart) feels kinda slow to most people.
THEIR ACTINGGGG omg, WilliamEst are exactly what they think they are. The next big thing. LYKN also did a fucking great job.
Everything is amazing, ThamePo is exactly what people say: one of the best BLs of GMM ever.
PS.: OMG JUNDYLAN PLEASE KISSSSSSSS. THE CHEMISTRYYYYY.

The sweetest masterpiece
This deserves a full 10 stars! Let me start by saying that. It was super cute – I couldn’t stop smiling the whole time. There’s great chemistry between the couple and the pacing of the story is well done. It addresses some really relevant subjects, such as the struggles in showbiz, obsessive fans, and the management of expectations between idols and their followers. There are also a few unexpected plot twists that I enjoyed, along with a fantastic soundtrack.
I’m really glad to have discovered Lykn through this series; these kids truly deserve all the hype they’re receiving. They’re so talented!
If you haven’t given this a try yet, please do. It’s definitely worth it.

A breath of fresh air
I seldom write reviews and I’m taking my time to write one for this series as I genuinely enjoyed it. It’s been years ever since I watched BL series due to busy work schedules. I only managed to watch it as a year ender due to the holidays. Firstly, I’d like to emphasize watching this BL series has piqued my interest and stirred lot of realization and emotions on my end. It’s light hearted to the point that you won’t get stressed/frustrated due to the conflicts that arose as you get deeper in the story. The actors’ acting skills and how they portrayed each character is really superb and they played it really well. The introduction and plot of the story is really engaging for me. I tried to watch 1-2 episodes at first if this would be binge worthy and would really pique my interest. I’m happy that I came across this BL series title in Netflix. It was really worth watching. The plot twist of Mick being the bad guy at first, then unexpectedly he was relentless in secretly helping the group is undoubtedly easy to miss. I was thinking of him as a passive aggressive character in the beginning. But after watching episode 12, my perception of him instantaneously changed! Sorry for that Mick! I suddenly love your character :PI do have a few points in mind that I’d love to see if it was incorporated in the series.
1. I wish they could’ve focused more on the growth and progression of Thame and Po’s love story before the conflict. They have little to no time to get really blissful in the relationship before being separated. :(
2. Jun’s flirting - On the onset, I was quite perplexed on what Jun’s trying to achieve here. I thought of him as a hot and cold kind of guy that would just bully Po. They should’ve expanded at least on the JunPo ship and maybe closure I guess at least, letting Po know Jun’s feeling should’ve done it. I have to admit Jun’s flirting with Po is effective to the point that Thame really had to compete with Jun’s efforts and Thame acting jealous is really adorable!
3. The slow burn part really made me sleepy and almost lost interest when I was already in the middle of the series. I hoped they picked up the pace at the right interval and didn’t dwell on things that shouldn’t have consumed too much screen time, with not having the desired outcome.
4. I hope other characters would also have a chance at a minimum meet their LOML (love of my life) or maybe I got used to the traditional past BL series I watched during the pandemic, where the supporting characters had their chances to have partners along the way and navigated through the relationship. I mean yeah there’s Per and Gam but, I think it wasn’t enough. I was hoping for a JunDylan ship here haha.
In summation, this BL series is worth watching and a really good one to begin with. The main characters undeniably have genuine chemistry. I really hope to see them again, along with other veteran actors in the BL industry and of course other members of the boy band!

Big fan of LYKN and this series in specific !!
Never realised I didn't write a review on this series. I rewatched ThamePo like 3 times now and I've been a big fan of LYKN for quite some time. I rarely rate a series this high for everything. Overal a 10 and the music, acting/cast, music and story rank super high for me. The only smalll thing I dislike are parts in the plot. (I'm used to call them by their irl names or stage names so sorry if I accidentally use their real/stage names in this review)Let's start from the beginning. Po being rejected for a job because his reasoning is weak and personally I just don't get this scene even after watching this 3 times. Po seems way to open about his personal life, but this also shows later on in the series how he changed the part of him opening up to much.
Over to one of my favourite parts: THE GRAPHIC DESIGN. I'm in love with Po's graphic design and LYKN's posters and photoshoots in general (apart from this series). I know Est didn't make it himself but I'm just obsessed with GMMTHEEV's designs. Looks soooo good.
The first time watching this I kinda thought of Baifern as a Sasaeng but getting further into this series I realised she isn't really a Sasaeng and she really did want the best for Po. I'm also ALWAYS happy to see Sammy play in series, her role is always nice and she just lightens up the mood.
The whole plot feels really unrealistic to me but that's quite normal when watching bl's, otherwise it'll be to regular to my opinion. The reason for their disbandment never really made sense to me and I feel like it was only mentioned twice(?). Po's patience is amazing I would get sooo annoyed with Thame tbh...
The side couple ahahahaha, I love them sooo much.
One of my favourite genre's of bl is soft love and I just love their relationship development although I rlly hated Jun at some point for hiding my boys back from liking each other.

Some people may say it's not their cup of tea but if you like genuine romance and slow burn, it's definitely for you.
The acting and chemistry is so good.
It didn't even feel like debut for the main lead.
The songs are so good.
The series is just too cute

This is exactly what i needed to watch
Overall reviewThamePo isn’t just a sweet romance. It’s a thoughtful story about care, trust, and how hard it can be to find emotional clarity in a world that values image over authenticity. It stumbles a bit in the second half, but its heart? Always in the right place. If you’re into love stories that take their time, with characters who genuinely try to understand each other, this one’s worth every quiet, lingering minute.
Episode Reviews:
One of the things I really appreciated about ThamePo is how well it captured the behind the scenes reality of idol life, something that’s rarely portrayed with this much nuance in BL dramas. The series does an excellent job showing just how brutal the entertainment industry can be, especially for idol groups constantly under scrutiny. It dives into the pressure idols face to maintain a perfect image, while dealing with internal conflict, favouritism, and competition, all the things that quietly eat away at group unity. The show doesn’t shy away from the fact that sometimes the industry pits members against one another, and that being the “favourite” can be just as isolating as being sidelined. Thame's position as the group’s unofficial centre really highlighted that tension. He was in the spotlight, sure, but it came with its own weight. And for the other members, especially the ones whose talents were overlooked, there was this quiet ache. You felt it. It wasn’t over-explained, which made it feel all the more real.
Now, on the romance side… oh my freaking gosh. Thame and Po are just sooooooo lovely together. Their relationship honestly felt like a warm blanket, gentle, sincere, and incredibly grounded. They’re both green flags in human form. Thame, especially, really stood out for me. The way he treated Po with such care and patience, it was exactly the kind of emotionally intelligent love story I wish we saw more often. He never rushed him, never crossed boundaries, and always made sure Po felt emotionally safe. And Po, in turn, opened up so gradually and tenderly that watching them fall for each other kind of felt like falling in love yourself. Some of their moments, like the quiet rooftop scene or that first real confession felt so nostalgic, like remembering a first crush. That kind of softness isn’t easy to portray without feeling too slow or overly sweet, but the show got the balance just right.
That said, I do have a few critiques. The first half of the series was fantastic intimate, emotionally steady, with a strong sense of direction. But the second half did start to lose a bit of its momentum. The two episodes that focused on Jun and Po’s dynamic didn’t quite work for me. I get what the writers were trying to explore unresolved emotions, complicated friendships, maybe even a mirror of Thame and Po’s growth but it just didn’t land personally. It pulled attention away from the main relationship, and I found myself wishing that time had been spent deepening Thame and Po’s arc instead, especially since theirs was already such a subtle slow burn.
And then there’s the breakup arc. On one hand, I appreciated the realism. A relationship like theirs would face roadblocks in an industry like that it made sense, narratively. But emotionally, it was a little jarring. After spending so long building up their connection so slowly and delicately, to then have them break apart not long after finally coming together???? It just left me with emotional whiplash. I understood the reasoning, but I wished we’d gotten more of them as a couple before throwing conflict at them. Just one or two episodes of stability would’ve made the heartbreak hit even harder, and felt more balanced. As it was, it felt like we waited forever for a relationship that barely had time to breathe before it was tested.
Still, the chemistry between the leads was undeniable. Every time they were on screen together, there was this quiet electricity. And when the kisses finally came. Let’s just say I had to pause and stare at the screen for a while. They were intense without being preformative, and felt completely in line with how emotionally mature their relationship was. The kisses looked real an not like two fishes kissing so I'm extremely glad for that. Both actors delivered incredibly grounded performances, and honestly, the entire cast did a great job. Even the supporting characters who sometimes get sidelined in BL dramas felt like full people with their own perspectives and emotional lives. That added so much depth to the world of the show.
