You should watch it once
Honestly, I'm blown away by this series! GMM TV has really outdone themselves this time. Although it's a strategy to promote their group and you will see that, but I stayed for WilliamEst.I went in not knowing much about the actors, and I wasn't expecting to be wowed. But the lead actors' chemistry is insane and you see it from the beginning! The way the story's told feels almost documentary-style - it's so raw and real. The cinematography is gorgeous, too - it's soothing to watch and doesn't feel overstimulating.
The plot's engaging, but it's not one of those twisty, dramatic shows that's trying to keep you on the edge of your seat. It's more of a slow burn that builds up beautifully. If you take the time to really watch it (no fast-forwarding!), I promise you'll fall in love with it.
The only issue with it was the screentime of the mc. Like the story was sold with the name of "ThamePo" but sometimes it felt more like MarsPo. Because first few episodes was about each characters, leaving only a 5-7 minutes window for the main couple to have any moment. Then it was too much of JunPo confusion for 3 episodes and then yk they will anyway face hard times.
They had such lovely chemistry, I wish we could see them together more.
And I'm glad they had a HE but it could've been better.

KINDOF A REACH?! IDK? BUT POSSIBLY ONE OF THE BEST STORYTELLING BL OF ALL TIME"
We’re only six episodes into ThamePo the Series, but I already know this show is something special. Every detail, from the breathtaking cinematography to the way the story unfolds, feels intentional and heartfelt. It’s a slow burn, but never once does it feel boring. Instead, it invites you to savor every moment, making each scene more impactful than the last.I love how the show delves into the other side of an idol’s life—the sacrifices, the struggles, and the parts of their world we don’t often see. It adds so much depth to the narrative and makes the story feel grounded and real.
And can we talk about Po’s character? Finally, a gay character who isn’t boxed into a stereotype! He’s not clueless about his surroundings or feelings—he’s sharp, self-aware, and fully realized. And the dynamic between Thame and Po? It’s exactly what I’ve been waiting for. They break away from the tired trope that one person in a queer couple has to be “the feminine one” and the other “the masculine one.” Instead, they beautifully embody both femininity and masculinity, creating a relationship that feels real, balanced, and inspiring.
Of course, the side characters deserve their flowers, too. They add so much richness to the story, complementing Thame and Po’s journey without overshadowing it. And the OST? Perfection. The music amplifies every emotion, and it’s stuck with me since the first episode.
Now, let’s get shady for a second because FINALLY—a BL actor who can actually sing! (You know who you are.) William and Est aren’t just amazing actors; they’re multi-talented, and their performances as Thame and Po are pure magic. Their chemistry is electric, and you can feel how much heart they pour into every scene.

ThamePo best series
Definitely one of the best series I’ve watched. The cast and cinematography the plot, everything was perfect. To think this was William’s debut series and Est first time in a lead role, the chemistry and acting was out of the world. Literally a no skip series, every minute of it is crucial. Nut, Hong, Tui and Lego, did exceptionally well as well, they really brought their characters to life. Well done to the full cast, I can’t wait to see how the story unfolds. You got me squeezing my pillow and kicking my feet every Friday night! 😍Was this review helpful to you?
Est is the saving grace
Honestly, just wanted to write this to praise Est's acting. This is the first time I have seen his acting abd he left a good impression on me. He is the only reason I keep watching.Sadly, even Est can't save this series from being so underwhelming and bad. As much as i like LYKN, they are not good actors. When william and est act together, their difference in skills is undeniable.
The script is cringe and I had to skip some parts to save me from the secondhand embarrassment. BUT the series could be enjoyable if you just want to fill your time and don't have anything else to watch

Its getting repetitive
Im curently on ep 7. I onow this show was super popular and it has great score. Im basically just watching for WilliamEst.Jun character is driving me nuts (pun intended). So much that i want to drop the show. Hes co*kblocking the main couple and idk why is nobody saying anything. Both of them are so passive, like so something, say something. Anyway its getting really annoying with this.

Thamepo: A Masterclass in Slow-Burn Romance and Emotional Intimacy
Thamepo is peak romance—10/10, no question. This is the kind of love story that captures your heart not with grand, over-the-top gestures but with the quiet, intimate moments that feel so deeply real. They don’t just fall for each other romantically; they genuinely *enjoy* being together. Whether it’s spending an entire night talking on the phone or taking turns walking each other home just to steal a few more minutes in each other’s company, their connection is so raw and authentic. What makes it even more powerful is how their bond doesn’t rely on physical touch. For most of their time together, they’re not even touching, yet the tension and romance are palpable. It’s all-encompassing, intense, and achingly beautiful. You feel their longing, their joy, and their inability to let go of each other in every scene.
This is what intricate storytelling looks like—affection shown in subtle, deeply personal ways. Even without kisses or hugs, the intimacy between them is undeniable because their hearts are so in sync. Every moment they share feels like the world melts away, leaving only the two of them. If you’re a fan of slow-burning, soul-deep love stories, this is as good as it gets. Pure perfection.

Eye opener for fans
ThamePo made me fall in love with Thai BL. This show was so wholesome, with the slow burn story between Thame and Po.But this drama also had some very good messages in it, the friendship bond that can not be destroyed, how hard the company tries.
They showed what happens with a lot of idols, how company's treat their idols. But also how some fans treat the idols, they just go to far. Idols are people with real lives too, they don't exist only for fans. Fans have no right to try to claim or orchestrate their lives.
This script was amazing, it's one of te best Thai drama's i have seen.
The music was so beautiful and amazing! I became a Lykn fan after this.
And oh my gosh, the cinematografy was stunning!!!
All the actors did an amazing job! And William and Est were so good together, their chemistry and kisses were amazing!
This is a must watch! You won't be dissapointed!

ThamePo: The show where the characters wait for the actors.
ThamePo is a beautifully written show that was beautifully acted by William and Est. As the show goes on, it is clear that no other actor can play Po as well as Est or Thame as well as Po.Now the storyline for ThamePo is relatively simple: a director (Po) meets an idol (Thame) and they fall in love while trying to repair the said idol’s group (MARS). But the show is so much deeper than its plot makes it to be. It delves into idols falling in love and the impossible expectations idols have to succeed. It dives into the detriments a popular member faces. It deals with the fame that comes with being an idol but the loneliness one feels even when successful. But the part that stood out to me was the air of normalcy. At its core, ThamePo is a story about wanting the mundane. It’s about wanting to the small things in life. Est was wonderful as Po. He perfectly captures a man who wants normal in a world where everyone wants to be the best. But William as Thame was probably one of the best parts of the show. William captures a lonely boy who wants to succeed but also be in love. Thame is the heart of the show, and if another actor played Thame, they would not have successfully pulled it off.
William and Est played their roles perfectly, but I have to give a shoutout to LYKN, especially Nut. Aside from Thame and Po, Jun was my favorite character. Nut brought a lot of depth into Jun that surprised me. All in all, ThamePo is a beautiful show that everyone should watch.

More Than Romance: A Heartbreaking Reality Behind an Artist’s Smile
I watched a drama like this after a very long time, and it truly touched my heart. This drama has the perfect balance of romance and storyline. Many BL dramas focus only on physical relationships without deep emotional connection, while some others focus only on the plot and forget to build meaningful romance, which makes them feel empty. But this drama has both. The romance feels real, emotional, and meaningful, and the storyline is strong and engaging at the same time. The actors did an amazing job. Their acting felt so natural and sincere that I found myself crying when they cried. It has been a long time since a BL drama made me feel emotions this deeply. They didn’t just act; they made me feel every emotion their characters experienced.
Another important thing this drama shows is the reality of an artist’s life. From the outside, we see them smiling, performing, and making us happy. We enjoy their work and admire them. But behind that smile, they endure so much pain, pressure, and sacrifice. It reminded me that their life is not easy at all. Companies often focus only on profit and success, without caring about the artists’ feelings and well-being. Artists are human beings too. They have emotions, struggles, and limits, just like everyone else.
This drama also clearly shows that fans should respect artists’ private lives. Being a fan does not mean owning someone. Artists deserve to have their own personal space, relationships, and freedom. They are not characters; they are real people with real emotions. Obsessive behavior and unrealistic expectations only create harm, pressure, and emotional pain.
This system needs to change. Companies should be open and honest from the beginning and normalize the fact that artists are allowed to have personal lives. It should never be treated as a secret or a scandal. When honesty becomes normal, unhealthy obsession will reduce, and artists will be able to live with the dignity, respect, and freedom they truly deserve.
This drama is not just a romance story. It is emotional, realistic, and meaningful. It made me feel happy, sad, and thoughtful at the same time. It reminded me why I love watching dramas like this.
This is truly one of the most powerful and complete BL dramas I have watched in a long time.

My heart was skipping indeed
ThamePo has been revered since the initial trailer was dropped. There was so much anticipation for this one, so much buzz and well... GMM delivered tenfold (which is somewhat surprising for me).Pros:
- Mature storyline with great acting and good (believable) characters.
- Sheds light on the realities of Idol figures and the stresses they go through, publicly and privately.
- Loved the fandom aspect of it as well
- Story never dulled or got boring, managed to keep pace well and keep us interested.
- Loved how much LKYN made MARS real. (they worked so hard!)
Cons:
- I needed more? Season 2?
Overall this is going on the list of favorites and I will miss it sooo much.

loved every second of it, rewatched it 2 days after finishing it!!!!
one of my favorite shows rn.when i started the show I didn't know William, LYKN o Est and i was a bit skeptical at first, you know, a boyband in a series, a lot of singing, and we know how much we suffer when a bl actor picks up a guitar ... but i must say i pleasently changed my mind. it's brilliant.
First of all, the storyline is amazing, no dull moment in the plot, no useless episodes, the story unrevoled in a slow yet pleasant way. And i say it because i am the first to skip half episode if it gets too slow or boring, bit never have i ever touched the computer since i started watching the show. It was amazing, and the acting went soooo well with the storyline, like every character was portrailed perfectly for each member of the cast, no disappoinment.
The chemestry was on fire, i love williamest now, i just cant with those two, i was kicking my feet like a 2yo. Every interaction was soooo cute and they captured my soul. I have rewatched this series soo many times i know it by heart and i recommend it to everybody. it's like fresh air in the world of bl's, i have watched so many but no one felt like this: no useless drama, or stupid break up's .... it was just right
