A BL but not A BL????
When I first saw this series, It makes me excited since I want to know more about LYKN. I first know LYKN when they did some dance challenge or something and Lego dance to Drip by BabyMonster while William watch him and follow him from behind. So, I get a little bit interested in them and become happy that they act in a BL.First, I got to say this BL is not BL. I mean, I could barely feel the chemistry between Thame and Po. The series focus more on LYKN which make me realizes, is the point of this series is too promote LYKN instead? I thought they are quite big in Thailand. I barely remember any sweet and romantic scene between Thame and Po. Yes, it is there, but the focus is more on Mars trying to get back together and achieve perfect all kill.
Even the breakup scene, I did not even feel sad because I don't think they have too many memorable scene together for me to be sad for their breakup.
KOREA
Seriously, I found it totally ridiculous that when artist or singer in drama or series get a chance to go to Korea but they did some very little research to make it happen.
The series keep push Thame to go to Korea alone. Me as a KPOP fan for like 20 years, known so well, it is not easy to build a name as a soloist in Korea. Unless, you are in a very successful group in KOREA not in Thailand or some other country. For example, let's take Lisa from BlackPink and Taeyeon from SNSD. In term of Global, Lisa is more successful than Taeyeon, but in Korea, Taeyeon is more successful. Korea will support their people more than foreigner. But still other members of Girls Generation also who has solo not as successful as Taeyeon. Because it is not easy to be a soloist in Korea.
But in this series, they keep pushing Thame to go alone which I found really ridiculous. No matter how great he is, no matter how big his potential is, his branding has always been with Mars. So, if a Korea Entertainment company really really really want to sign him, they will bring the group together. Unless, they will redebut Thame in another K-Pop group.
And this is my personal opinion, I admit that Thame has the look, has the talent, but if one person should go to Korea, it should be Lego. Lego has more star qualities that meet K-Pop, but like mentioned previously, unless he redebut in a group in Korea, it is not easy for him to achieve success in Korea. And obviously, if he is really really really lucky.
TOXIC FAN
I understand that fan will be upset if the idol they like date anyone or even get married. But what really upsetting is how Po's friends who claimed to be very big fan and even the admin of Mars's fanclub twitter or something, suddenly take a 'rest' when the scandal of Pepper dating blew up. Why would she bother become the admin if she only just want Pepper? Her action affect Mars as the whole group, not just Pepper. That is plain stupid.
Yes, she realizes her mistake by the final episode, but the damage already being done, Pepper is heartbroken and never seen happy again until he call his girlfriend with the help of Lego.
I know that, dating is a luxury that any idol want to have but hard to get. However, it is still so sad that how fan react and wants to boycott the person just because they 'fear' that the idol will not love the same once they have lover.
THE CEO
I seriously skip through wherever her scene come in. She is a manipulative b*tch, very annoying and I just want to throw anything I could reach for towards her. For this character, yes, the writers really did a good job on portraying CEO of Korea entertainment company.
OVERALL
The BL does not feel like BL. I am more sad and touch by the time the Mars members and Po play the video of them at the concert rather than the breakup scene. I feel like the BL's scene was just there to prove that this is BL. We get a very minimun scene for that but mostly, we get Mars or Lykn.

JunPo Heart That Skips Ever Getting a Beat
I am usually not a fan of reviews that are made when barely half of a show has come out or when 3/4 is only out, because at that point you ought to just wait it out before making a review. My The Heart Killers review was an exception to this rule because that series has been dropped and is beyond repair. However, this time I feel compelled to make a premature review because I think I can say with certainty that this is not a show for me.I'll start with my classic pros and cons list, then go into more detail afterward.
Pros:
- Production was pretty. I am a sucker for vibrant colors and this one used quite a few. And of course, a show with idols will make them look bedazzled and pleasing to the eyes. So, + Points for that.
- Not set in a high school or university as the setting. It is set in an actual workplace.
- Nontoxic couple that actually tries to have communication and my issue with miscommunication pet peeve was not being stepped on.
- Male comradery with the MARS group. While they could feel stiff at times, I still did laugh at some of their little group interactions quite a bit.
- Reinforces the idea that although Thame is from a popular group and is well loved in his company for his success he is still a coworker just like Po and there shouldn't be a power imbalance.
- Mini twist of Jun actually caring about Thame even though it was at first painted as him being an antagonist.
- A main character that can ACTUALLY help further the plot.
- It presents the idea of the pain the one that leaves could feel rather than just making the one(s) left behind an eternal victim.
- Pepper. I just liked him the most out of the entire cast of characters.
- No unnecessarily misogynistic portrayals of women nor are they treated as bitchy exes that can't take "no" as an answer.
- I get to see Sammy and Drake a moderate amount as side characters. I missed them.
Cons:
- The main two are kind of too simple relationship and character wise as the story goes on. I like my romances to be a bit chaotic or questionable, so this one was just not formulated for me evidently.
- This might be just a me thing, but I actually wanted the idea of sexuality to be brought up rather than just a one-off line of "he likes tiny girls" (in which that should probably be reworded because it sounds diddy coded). I am obviously not a fan of homophobia but I wanted his close friends to question if he had always liked guys, and especially wanted him to seem at least a little conflicted with himself about it.
- The bandmates join back a little too fast. I was hoping for more conflict between them about that. Somehow Pepper was the most believable about it than the others and he technically showed up with the least amount of effort required to drag his ass back to the squad house.
- The main romance is just too boring and takes up a big part of the show; especially after the gang is reunited again.
- The idol part of the story started to lose my interest the more it went on. I cared less and less for their future because only about half of the group has any real relevancy.
- Thame seems to lose any of his internal conflict that made me like him so much in ep 1 a little too fast.
- Thame's jealousy annoyed me.
- They teased JunPo, only to completely disregard it just as fast and it made me question if Jun even actually confirmed liked Po or not.
- Baifern seems to almost not exist past like the first two episodes and I feel like she shouldn't just exist to be the initial quest giver.
- Cringe rapping in ep like 4. I understand that Thame was meant to be wrecked verbally for the sake of the plot, but I just don't like rap all that much so I was only really enjoying the setting rather than the music. The mint haired person also pissed me off because the logic that idols can't be real musicians or even rappers is so fucking dumb that I cannot believe people actually think this in real life. Do they actually? I really have no idea personally at all.
- I agree with some others that some of the acting isn't that good. I see others saying that William is fantastic for a rookie, but I just don't quite see it. I think he did alright, just not beyond alright. Beautiful voice, though.
The characters:
Po: I mean I just think he is kind of lacking personality wise. He had a few moments that shined with cheekiness like when he laughed at Jun, but then he goes back to feeling like a self-insert in a Wattpad that coincidentally has two idols going after him (as someone in the comments on Youtube pointed out).
Thame: I liked him at first because you could tell he was a troubled soul and it indicated a more complex personality that contrasted with the expected idol persona everyone sees. But then he seems to actually just be this fantasy guy that is almost perfect and always thinking of the protagonist. His jealousy also felt misplaced because of how his writing past the first two episodes was. I usually don't like intense jealousy plots to begin with, so maybe I'm biased, but I really didn't like this one for the simple reason that it felt misplaced and reeeally unnecessary because it was obvious to the audience and literally every other character that Po would not choose literally anyone over Thame.
Baifern: I miss her. Bring her baaaack other than a damn phone call every once in 5 episodes. Seeing Ciize makes me nostalgic because I swear I see her in every other thai show that I watch.
Jun: I actually like him the second most because he adds the much needed drama to keep me somehow watching for 8 episodes, but now that it seems his motives are found out and he has conceded going after Po to Thame he will probably be sidelined unfortunately. And I like mischievous characters too. He was such a homewrecker.
Pepper: I liked him the most. He is gorgeous, kind, understanding, unproblematic, and the best of all: mature. I liked that he was the problem solver compared to Jun's problem amplifier. I also like that he is in a confirmed and steady relationship with a woman because you rarely get to see those that much in these kind of shows unless the woman or him are problem starters.
Dylan: started out kind of interesting with his love-hate relationship towards Thame, but then loses that the moment he switches up and joins his band suuuper fast. It would have made more sense if he marinated on the thought that maybe he abandoned Thame first by jumping to conclusions and not hearing him out before leaving. But no, he gives up on his goal of joining the rapper underground super fast. That diss track of his towards mint hair was satisfying af though because he annoyed me SO much.
Nano: I literally don't have anything to say about him other than he gives the vibes of those cliche BL bottom tropes that people love to write in manga and manhwa. His voice also felt far too cutesy for me. I think maybe his actor was trying too hard or something. I was messing around guessing Nano would be my bias in the first ep when Baifern asked Po and oh boy was I wrong because he is NO ONE's favorite because he is such a filler character for their band collection arc.
ThamePo romance: I seriously found them so bland. I understand that they are objectively a good pairing and that I should probably sense the chemistry that all those other commentors did, except I just didn't really vibe with them past like ep 2. I liked how human and multi-faceted Thame seemed in eps 1-2, especially his reactions to some of the weird things Po said/did. It felt surprisingly realistic of how someone would actually react in that situation if it took place in real life rather than romance land. I liked how their awkwardness suited each other in those two episodes. Then, it just seems they started like each other a ton more within the next few episodes and I could not see why. It definitely doesn't help that the pacing confused me because I swear this is all taking place in like two weeks or something. Now they feel like a Wattpad writer's attempt at "fluffy boyfriends UwU".
JunPo (lost potential) romance: I somehow have second lead syndrome on this one. There is no reason for me to like them more than ThamePo other than the facts that ThamePo is boring (to me), this is a bickering couple trope, semi-enemies to lovers, Po seems to show more expression in his scenes with Jun, and the fact that I'm messy af. This was probably the only time I ever wished for a love triangle to happen in order to spice a continually bland story up. They didn't have any physical chemistry at all either, but I just enjoyed their interactions more than any other character interactions. They definitely will work better as frenemies than lovers anyway.
The pacing: I am so confused of the time frame of this show. It all has to happen within 3 months because of the final concert, right? Yet, it feels like the first 8 episodes have only passed about two weeks tops. It would make the fact that two guys fell for Po within that time feel waaaay too forced in that case. Too Wattpad-esc.
Rewatch/Finish: I think I'll probably just skim the next 5 episodes. I've lost virtually all interest in the plot now that I have a gut feeling that Jun will become the next member to the "we got sidelined after like one semi-important plot point we starred in!" band this show is forming. If this show manages to magically change my perception of it by the end I'll make another review of it.
Conclusion: I understand how other people could appreciate this; I just wasn't one of them, unfortunately. Unlike some other reviews of mine, I actually believe that this one is not inherently bad nor should it be treated as bad (unless the remaining episodes have an identity crisis and proceed to crash out like *certain shows* do). I also never really had high expectations to like this one either because I had a gut feeling it wouldn't be what I wanted in the end, so my expectations weren't that crashed or anything like that.
Would I recommend? Only if you like idol plots and simple, healthier romance with no real drama or spice.

The calling out of toxic fans
It was actually so amazing, I think the way it showed how toxic fan bases can be, and how that can have an effect on celebrities (especially idols) was so well done that I truly hope it'll change how some fans view their 'celebrity crush.' whenever they showed the female fan (I can't remember her name rn, Po's friend) and how frustrated she was when she found out that her bias had a girlfriend was actually so wild, but I'm so glad they showed it from the fans perspective because hopefully it'll give some of these fans a wake up call (especially seeing how many Thai BL fans are also K-pop fans) (and no this doesn't apply just to K-pop fans, I'm sure T-pop and all the other kind of pop fans can be just like this, but it is very prominent in the K-pop community) HOLY YAP SESH OK CONTINUING!I am honestly loving this new theme of healthy relationships in BLs coming out recently, like I'm watching Your Sky right now (review coming soon) and just seeing these actually healthy relationships being shown in BL seems to be such a rare occurrence, I'm sure there are a lot, but it just seems like the most popular also tend to be toxic, so its nice seeing some health (tbh I do eat up the toxic ones too sometimes)
Anyways, continuing again, I think that the story itself is very good and well done, the whole "bringing the band back together" was like my favorite thing ever, I ate it upppp! also the acting, especially from William and Est was incredible, I truly hope they get to act together in the future because they play off of each other in a very nice way.
anyways, stunning, 10/10, loved it, binged it so hard. Shout out to healthy relationships. and please don't be a toxic fan, lol

A Love Story With Self-Reflection
the story in thamepo is not only of romance, but of the inevitable self-discovery, self-reflection, and growing that we as people go through--celebrity or not.with thamepo, you are taken through a journey of failure, slumps, growth, and the different types of losses that you experience as a working adult in society. the impossibility we see so often take the lead in thamepo gives room for the viewer to realize there are times we, as people just trying to get through life, often have to make sacrifices or face a separation that are not part of the fairytale we want to believe in.
with this also comes a constant obstacle and issue in this series that prevails in real life: irrational fanatism of idols/celebrities. there is a lesson for everyone, regardless of how much we want to say we don't care about idol relationships, and it's about not focusing on the big picture: happiness.
baifern is the vessel for this lesson for us as viewers and supporters of artists. and even with the laid out explanation of how this type of behavior is irrational and harmful, i fear that the discussions, criticisms, and putting down of william for this series and his dreams are a real manifestation of the very problem that has to stop. we often see thame talk about how he is not tired, does not need anyone to coddle him, and he is doing things because he likes it (being with po, in this case). so to hear william also be as confident and vocal about this stage of his career being very much his choice, how he's fought for this opportunity and to keep est in his life, it makes it absolutely insensitive, overbearing, and borderline psychopathic to see people bash him for going after an acting career that he very much has always been vocal about.
so, to sum this up, the amplifying of bad takes also is an issue that we see far too often and does not create a healthy relationship with your favorite celebrities. ignoring people that set out to harm others is the best tool. silence and moving with purpose to show continued support is more powerful when there is an uproar about something as normal as idols dating, which also ties in baifern doing more harm than good when closing the fan page rather than bearing through that storm with mars.
although we can talk about the toxicity forever, i think another important lesson is the acceptance of success coming in many forms.
po has a long struggle finding happiness. through the series you start to see him be happy and he realizes far too late that his happiness didn't have to be glamorous or "successful" like earn's. even the topic of dreams was so impactful for many of us that didn't necessarily grow up with grand or specific dreams for our future. uncle jo talking about how happiness can be as simple as making suits for people to love and enjoy wearing and how it can be fulfilling. we don't all dream of being doctors, lawyers, or some grand career. sometimes, just being comfortable in what you do and the impact you have on your own community is good and valid enough for you to be seen as successful. uncle jo was successful to po, and to uncle jo it was really nothing more than just being content with what he does in life. po realizing he was just constantly comparing himself to earn and their friend group made me feel like he grew to understand not only himself more, but the importance of mars and their dreams too.
the ability to get so much out of a rookie series like this has made thamepo something that will forever resonate with me. the brilliance from est and lykn to capture these roles so flawlessly makes thamepo the best series of this year for me. there is not much more to ask for in this series other than more episodes, but i did kind of wish the confession between thame and po had been through their own mouths and not a game of telephone with jun. still, it made sense with the flow of the story. the entire team and cast made incredible work here and the gentleness in the entire delivery makes this all the more impactful.

Why Thamepo Feels So Real
Thamepo had me hooked right from the start. I really liked how they showed Po’s real-life struggles, especially how hard it was for him to find a job. It felt super realistic, and I think a lot of people can relate to that.Eventually, Po becomes a videographer for a boy band called MARS, and that’s where he meets Thame, the group’s leader. There’s definitely some tension between them at first, which made things even more interesting.
WillEast (Thame and Po) have undeniable chemistry. Their acting is on point especially for actors who don’t get as much attention as they deserve. They’re great at expressing emotions, even through just subtle looks or actions.
For me, Thamepo stands out as a more realistic take on BL set in the idol industry. Thame might seem cold at first, but as the story goes on, you realize he’s actually a major green flag.
Jun’s character is kind of confusing, but in a good way—it adds some extra spice to the plot. The cinematography is also really well done, and I love how the relationship between Thame and Po slowly builds over time.
Overall, I found Thamepo touching, heartwarming, and well-written. It’s definitely worth watching.

? A Delightful Surprise You Didn't Know You Needed!
Thamepo is the kind of series that sneaks up on you—not with flashy drama, but with quiet moments that make your heart race and your stomach flutter. I didn’t expect to fall this hard, but every scene left me feeling warm, a little breathless, and completely hooked. This isn’t just a romance—it’s an experience. The acting is spot-on in the most understated way possible. What makes Thamepo truly special is its honest portrayal of idol life. It doesn’t glamorize it. Instead, it shows the isolation, the pressure to perform, the silent battles with self-image, and the unspoken rules idols must follow—even when it comes to love. And through that, it builds an emotional world that feels so real, so intimate, that you almost feel like you're intruding on something personal.
But it’s not all heavy. There’s a softness that runs through the whole story—a delicate tension, lingering eye contact, and moments so tender they gave me actual butterflies. The chemistry isn’t loud—it’s real. And that realism makes it all the more affecting.
I loved everything about this series. From the pacing, the performances, to the small moments of vulnerability that hit you out of nowhere—it’s beautifully done. It left me wanting more, in the best possible way.

It’s a must watch show
I don’t know where to even begin on what to say about this masterpiece of a show cause wow truly an amazing show everything about it was simple a 10/10!! Let’s start at the beginning. When I first saw the pilot of ThamePo I remember thinking oh wow this is definitely a show I will be watching when it comes out cause it looked different and very interesting so I was intrigued by it instantly. Then they officially dropped the trailer and I was like wait that’s Lykn and mind you in the pilot I didn’t put two and two together. So I watched the trailer and OMG was it good good it kept me giggle the whole time and my boys Lykn were the stars and I absolutely loved it! The chemistry from both the pilot and trailer was insane just the way the look at each other and they way the communicate through their eyes I was a goner cause that was just pure perfection and talent. The trailer gave everything and I knew this is a show I will watch for sure without a doubt in my mind and boy am I glad that I watched that pilot cause it changed my life completely.
The cast is LyknEst and it’s funny that Lykn is an actual boy band group cause they wow Project Alpha and that’s how they were formed together. Having them in the show was just pure genius on behalf of the casting crew cause they fit those roles so perfectly and they did such a great job. I really didn’t know Est to begin with cause I never saw the shows that he was in but after watching ThamePo I’m a total Est fan and he is so talented as an actor the emotions that he portrayed as Po was just amazing I believe no one could have played Po better than Est himself.
William as Thame. William really become Thame omg he played Thame so well like for his first role and h nailed it is amazing there has to be awards for this kind of achievement. We get a first look at Thame as someone assertive the one who is amazing and that Pemika likes. Plus the fact we can see he doesn’t like Po at all. He his having a talk with Pemika and he notices Po and straight up confronts him like I know you are a spy and there are people so obsessed with stars that they would do anything to be close to them. He is very mature and you would think that he is being mean or harsh but no his actions have reasons cause he can’t do that or his being proactive. When he has that interview with Po cause Po asks him to be honest and say what he truly feels we can see his walls break down and we see someone who is hurting cause he has to bear all those things on his own cause he cares for his members and wants them to succeed that he would do anything. He has that argument with Po where Po says he doesn’t know the pain he cause by leaving, leaving his friends behind and then Thame says well what about the person doing the leaving doesn’t he feel pain as well? I promise that broke me into a million pieces when I heard that. When Po went to that roof top to find Thame and saw him emotionally he understood Thame better that he wasn’t the bad guy that he portrayed him to be. Thame thanked him that he showed him a side of his members he never saw and this resulting in a new understanding and friendship between Thame and Po. Instead of him going to Korea he asked Po to help reunite the group together Mars and him. Po of course says yes he will having a huge crush on Thame and ep 4 where they’re staring at each other and king absolutely nothing but looking at each other OMG amazing just pure chemistry and chemistry did I say chemistry without them saying anything but their eyes looking at each other. We know that Thames relationship with is family is none existent but I think he found family with his members and that’s why he was fighting so hard for them and bringing them together in that sense he was doing it for himself for once being selfish. When Po come to his life he become more calm and accepting help not doing things himself was beautiful to watch and of course he managed to get Mars together again OT5 and now they have to prove to the company that they can bring in the numbers as a group. They work together to make a song together to prove to Pemika they deserve to be together and the can succeed together that is what Thame has been saying that together they can accomplish a lot. There is an episode where Thame gets jealous of Jun and Po and honestly I love jealousy Thame but we also sees that he isn’t aware he is jealous until Pepper tells him his jealous and his like don’t I have to like him to be jealous. This leaves Pepper shocked that wait don’t you like him and his like I don’t know I have never been through that or been in a relationship. So pepper tells him go test it just touch him and if he his heart races then you are in love. Well well he did more than touch him but he hugs him and his heartbeats and that’s when he knows his in love with Po. The continue to be together each episode now that they like each other but haven’t confessed they walk each other home, have move dates plan, phones on the phone. Thame telling Po you matter as well omg if I was Po I would have melted. The. Just being goals and the slow burn of their relationship is everything everything. Thame is the greenest flag ever the damn forest. When they were having their movie date finally and the moment was right for that first kiss our boy Thame left before the kiss what but when the members found out they were like you must be joking and he was like it was just movie right we supposed to watch it right and their like don’t you know the slang for watch a movie doesn’t actually mean that hahah then Thame finally understood it and promised Po he will do better. Boy did he ever he did better than better that first kiss was insane no one expected that from them at all OMG the whole Bl fandom was shock after that cause they are new to Bl and it’s their first show no one and I mean no expect that and also the last kiss on episode 9 where Thame took of his shirt another shocked for everyone cause the body we did t expect that. Their kiss on tick tock is over 10 million views wow says a lot. Through out the show we see why Thame is the standard like everything he does proves it. Him reassuring Po, checking on him when Peter’s scandal dropped, him tellin Po even when his in Korea even though they are apart they are not breaking up. Him saying I will call you when I can, text you every day and buy you a plane ticket to come visit me Omg Thame was sure and was ready to face anything that comes their way as long as their together holding each others hand. Then the broke up but in the end they found their way back to each other and he asked Po. Never to let go of his hand no matter what life throws their way and they kissed. We got to see them in their everyday lives Thame and Mars building their new company and performing songs and Thame and Po being that it couple we love. William did such a fantastic job with this role like he bemcome Thame and nailed it. He has so much talent singer, dancer and now actor so much more things for him and I hope he continues to be himself and gets success. As William said even though ThamePo has ended WilliamEst has not ended forever!!
Est as Po, okay so the first episode Po is having an interview and they ask him why did you take a break during this time and someone would give a completely different answer but nit our Po is straight up said because of his relationship. Wow so innocent too innocent hahah. We see Po as a person who got out of a relationship and now his trying to make a comeback to the world and get a job and stand on his on feet. He broke up with Earn( don’t like him at all) and after Po helped him he was like thanks for your help bye like what? Leaving Po heartbroken and confused after all that he did to help him build his company and yet he didn’t even say thank you or give him credit for his hard work. His bestie Fern didn’t like that relationship and I’m with her on that cause Po deserves better. Fern helps Po get an interview at Oner company and there he meets Mick and he aces the interview now this company is where the famous group Mars is at. He is excited that he got the job and his back in the job market. He finds out that his first assignment is to do a video with Mars as a goodbye cause Thame is going to Korea and that Mars is breaking up. On his first day he meets Thame and Thame does not like Po at all he thinks that Po is a sesang(not sure I spelt that right but basically someone who is obsessed with the group a groupy a spy basically) basics their first encounter is rough and unpleasant cause Thame is really doesn’t trust Po. Later when he interviews Thame he learns well thinks that basically Thame is the a person just cause he is successful he leaves his friends behind and doesn’t care which in fact is the opposite and he cares so much about them that he doesn’t want to leave for Korea. Po tells Thame that someone still goes to the group house and that gives the courage to take charge and say he is not going to Korea and that he wants Po’s help to reunite the group so they can be Mars again and of course Po helps him. As the show goes we see oh I forgot to mention that Po has a huge crush on Thame ever since Fern asked him to pick which one he likes even though he never said it but his eyes did. As Po gets to know Thame more and more he falls even more in love with him. They slowly get to know each other spend endless hours on the phone to Thame singing Po his favorite song after he wakes up. How can you not fall in love. Jun does find out that Po like Thame is teases him a lot about that and says that Thame doesn’t like big guys but small girls which is funny cause Thame does like Po but Po doesn’t know. When they confess their love and feelings for each other (ep8) I was just dying rolling on the bed just happy and being giggling all the time. It was just so sweet and adorable them confusing and confirming their feelings adorable and the hand flirting OMG that was the best scene. The break up scene broke us all when Po left Thame even though he didn’t want to OMG still crying now and when Po got in his room and cried omg we felt the raw emotion and the pain he felt. Po really does love Thame and he cares for him but he did it so they can be successful in the group and because of Pemika. When he found that letter from Thame he knew Thame wanted him in his life as he was to always hold his hand and never let go. That scene broke me honestly. When the finally got together in the last episode it’s was so heartwarming when Po went to look for Thame and when Thame so Po it was like his whole world was filled with everything and he relaxed cause his whole heart was in front of him. What I really loved that Po accepted that being happy together was ok and sometimes doing a regular job or having a regular routine was fine if you are happy and filled with love and people around you. Him introducing Thame to his friends and him growing was such a great feeling to watch discover that. I’m so happy that Est played this role our shark! He is amazing and such a big softie for WillemEst is forever!!!!

A Captivating Drama That Masterfully Blends Love, Music, and the Highs and Lows of Fame
With stellar performances, a brilliantly crafted script, and captivating production, this Netflix series has quickly earned its place as a must-watch.The story follows Po, a filmmaker assigned to document the last performance of MARS, a boy band adored by fans. Po’s journey becomes deeply personal as he forms an unexpected bond with Thame, the group’s enigmatic leader. At its core, the series explores themes of identity, vulnerability, and the sacrifices demanded by the entertainment world, all while delivering a tender love story that resonates on many levels.
William Jakrapatr’s portrayal of Thame is a masterclass in emotional depth and authenticity. He captures the complexity of Thame’s life with stunning precision, offering viewers a front-row seat to the struggles of a man torn between public expectations and personal desires. From the commanding presence he exudes on stage to the moments of quiet introspection behind the scenes, William’s performance is nothing short of captivating. His ability to convey Thame’s internal struggles—whether through a subtle flicker of doubt in his eyes or the quiet strength in his voice—makes his character profoundly human and relatable. The chemistry between William and Est Supha (Po) adds an extra layer of brilliance to the series. Their interactions feel organic and charged with emotion, creating a connection that is both authentic and deeply moving.
One of the show’s greatest strengths is its script, which strikes a delicate balance between drama, romance, and introspection. The dialogue is sharp and purposeful, revealing layers of the characters’ personalities and emotions with every exchange. The writers have skillfully avoided clichés, instead opting for nuanced storytelling that respects the audience’s intelligence. The pacing of the narrative is another highlight. Each scene feels deliberate, whether it’s a quiet moment of reflection or a high-energy concert sequence. The script gives equal weight to both the public and private aspects of Thame and Po’s lives, ensuring that the characters feel fully fleshed out and multidimensional.
The production values are also impeccable, with sleek cinematography and thoughtful set designs that reflect the contrasting worlds of stardom and personal intimacy. The soundtrack, featuring original compositions, is seamlessly integrated into the story, amplifying the emotional impact of key scenes.
"ThamePo: Heart That Skips a Beat" is a testament to the power of well-crafted storytelling and exceptional performances. William Jakrapatr’s unforgettable portrayal of Thame and the script’s heartfelt depth make this series a true gem in the world of contemporary Thai dramas. Whether you’re a fan of music-themed narratives or love stories with substance, this series delivers on all fronts.
Now streaming on Netflix, "ThamePo" is an emotional journey that will leave you reflecting long (also blush) after the end of each episode :)

Reality Check For Sure!
This beautiful series showcased so many relevant issues currently. It emphasized the impact of fan expectations on idols and actors in the industry. I noticed that fans extreme reactions forces amazing talented individuals to extreme measures. Our judgement of them,as if they are not human, is a shame. I think Asian series, movies and music is the most beautiful and graceful creations. It's the best genre however I see so many amazing artists lose their fight in life. Often artists are exploited, by fans and by agencies. They say they pay the price for fame... But that's their job, imagine if we handled that in our daily jobs.Back to the love story. It was mature and beautiful to watch. Two adults understanding each other, supporting each other, loving each others. There was no big gestures, raised voices and weird plots. Just a slow burn. The scene when they kept walking each other was so adorable. The cuteness of that 🥰 This by far the best series, that relationship was reality. What we all aspire to have in our lives. And I loved how Thame was jealous. But he's attentive. Another thing I loved was Po often saying it's alright and Thame replies no it's not. A relationship of all green flags
Last we talk about the group dynamic. In the begining it's a group of individuals and they end up bonding, understanding each other and supporting each other. They became family. It was satisfying and lovely watching those relationships grow and progress.
I have watched maybe hundreds of Asian series, BL or not but not many makes me want to write a review. Well done to everyone that was involved in the production of this series and Thank You 🙏

All about this BL is good
I really liked the way the entertainment industry is approached in this BL. We can get an idea of how things work and how artists are treated. We also see the artist's side. THEY ARE HUMAN. Obviously, what is depicted here isn't even the half of it, but it already makes us have a different perception of this industry. In my opinion, many people who are fans of idols should watch this to realize that fans also play a crucial role in the artist's life, both positively and negatively.Regarding the acting: I LOVED IT. I was impressed by how well the group "MARS" managed to portray these roles. That is until I did some research and found out they are a real group! (I absolutely love them, I became a fan).
The soundtrack is SO INCREDIBLE!! I usually don't care much about the soundtrack, but I'm obsessed with "Who Says".
That's it, I don't have much more to say, except that this is, without a doubt, one of the best BLs I've ever seen (if not the best).

A breathe of fresh air.
As someone who went on hiatus and strayed away from watching BL series because of the disappointing and repetitive plots, this series was a game changer.I literally sat down, started watching this, and finished it in one go.
I love the harsh reality that the series portrayed, especially the call of action for "fans" to simply love their idols and their performance, but stay away from their personal lives.
I also love the maturity of the characters and not the typical dumb and dumber relationships. The way they communicated with each other was hands-down one of the best from the years that I've spent watching numerous series.
Really, no words can possibly describe the sheer beauty this series have.

Thamepo, my new comfort drama (williamest, my new comfort ship)
I don't know if this is considered as a review, but i'm still sharing this here for everyone to read.Thamepo is the kind of series that lingers in your heart long after the credits roll, and my journey with it was unforgettable...from watching the mock trailer to looking out for every update on their Qs, waiting for the official trailer and its release date, watching the first episode and crying over it, all the way until the last episode. It’s a series that everyone should watch because it’s not just a story...it’s an experience. The emotions, the chemistry, the way every scene pulls you in, making you feel like you're right there with Thame and Po. From the subtle glances to the grand moments, every detail is crafted so well that it stays with you long after the episode ends.
A huge part of what makes Thamepo so special is William and Est’s phenomenal performances. These two didn’t just play their roles—they became their characters, making every emotion feel genuine and deeply affecting.
William’s portrayal of Thame is incredibly nuanced. He doesn’t just rely on dialogue but expresses so much through his eyes, his body language, and the smallest shifts in his tone. Every glance, every hesitation, and every unspoken emotion adds depth to his character, making you feel his struggles without the need for words. Whether it’s the way he subtly tenses when conflicted or the way his entire demeanor softens in certain moments, William makes Thame’s emotions palpable, drawing you in and making you believe in every part of his journey.
Est, on the other hand, delivers a quiet yet immensely powerful performance. He doesn’t need grand gestures to make an impact—his emotions seep through in the most delicate ways, making even the simplest moments feel heavy with meaning. His portrayal is so raw that you can’t help but feel every ounce of his character’s emotions right alongside him.
What makes their performances even more remarkable is their chemistry. It’s not just about looking good together on screen; it’s about how they communicate emotions without words, how their presence alone can change the entire atmosphere of a scene. William and Est don’t just act—they make you feel. And that’s what sets them apart.
Watching Thamepo unfold week by week was a journey filled with anticipation, heartbreak, joy, and everything in between. I held my breath during their secret meetings, smiled at their stolen moments, and cried when the weight of reality threatened to tear them apart. But through it all, their love remained undeniable.
This series is proof that some stories aren't just meant to be watched...they're meant to be felt. And Thamepo? It’s one that will stay with me for a long, long time.
