A captavating BL with a meaningful message
I know I’m biased, but I really loved this series. The entire cast did an amazing job, and the messages it delivered really hit home. It sheds light on how idols and celebrities in the Asian entertainment industry are often dehumanized, with toxic fan culture and agency control stripping them of basic freedoms. It’s frustrating to see how some fans and companies sabotage artists’ happiness just to maintain an image, as if they don’t deserve to live their own lives.Celebrities should be able to date, marry, and just be happy without it becoming a career-ending decision. They don’t owe us their lives, and we don’t own them. Yet time and time again, we’ve seen talented people forced out just for wanting a normal life. This series handled those issues so well, and it really made me think.
William and Est absolutely nailed their roles—their chemistry was incredible, and they brought so much depth to their characters. I’d love to see them work together again in the future. Honestly, this has become one of my favorite BLs, and I don’t even know what else to say except that I’ll definitely be rewatching it.

Best GMMTV drama of 2024
Literally this is one of the best drama I’ve ever watched. Plot is really good, acting skills are amazing, characters are well written and every part of the series is well explained at the end. Thame and Po had insane chemistry and they relationship had a lot of time to develop. Both of them are green flags and they treated each other well with understanding, and cared about each other’s feelings. William (the guy who played thame) if I’m correct never played in a series before but his acting skills are really great! Est (the guy who played thame) is really good actor and i can see he really cares about william as a work partner so I’m willing to watch another drama with them!P.S: I’d even ask for the special episode but after j&j i promised myself I’m never gonna do it again…

Excellent Production with amazing leads
I will have to edit this review for a more coherent thought because I am just so emotional right now but this series is an absolute gem . This reminds me of peak K-Drama eras but with BL which is my absolute jam. I'm just gonna outline my pros and cons with this drama so I don't lose my current train of thoughts, but I am highly biased so cons are little, with a lot of pros:1. Amazing production. I don't say this a lot with GMMTV series but I can't fault much production wise. Every scene feels full and purposeful, cinematography always on point. sound is also amazing. They don't shy away from utilizing silence to truly make a scene feel realistic and I highly appreciate this.
2. Soundtrack is on point. I still don't like the raps but I am not repulsed by the rap scenes as opposed to other BL series (or even songs with shit rapper). Using "Good Times" as one of the pivotal moment in their love story is genius writing and I will never get over that scene.
3. Thame and Po are perfectly cast. Holy shit. I can't believe these two actors - one a rookie and one is a first time male lead - outacted 90% of GMMTV actors. Est has one of the most expressive eyes I have had the pleasure to gaze upon. Every acting choice he made was great - he never attempted to perform beyond his current skill level but he truly managed to utilize what he excels in to make every scene great. William - I can't believe this is his first acting role. He is still green but holy shit, the potential that he has. His face acting is so good already. Honestly if he did slightly better than this I would be flying to thailand to BEG gmmtv to use whoever his acting coach is on literally all other actors.
4. ThamePo's chemistry - so I never base chemistry on things that happens off screen because some of the flirtiest BL couples do not translate their chemistry well on camera. I personally think ThamePo's excellent chemistry is because of the 10/10 direction and WilliamEst liking each other and them being so invested in their roles. I can't say the same for a lot of other dramas.
5. Love the storyline. But it's 2am and I have to wake up in 5 hours so I'll save this for tomorrow.
Now onto the bad:
1. Rest of the cast can improve on their acting. They're not horrible! But with such an excellent series, anything less than good is very jarring.
2. This is just a personal pet peeve of mine: I do like main characters who has more of a balance between career and romantic ambition. I absolutely love Po as a character and I do understand that not everyone's dream is to climb up the corporate ladder or whatever but I personally do prefer characters who has a passion for something that is not centralized around their lover.
I'll edit this when I'm less delirious but I adore this series and I will be patiently waiting for WilliamEst's next project!

An impactful meaning and plot
This has to be the best bl ever that I have seen.the story line,the acting and even the lessons from the plot is satisfying.The emotions being portrayed by the actors was amazing to watch,they portrayed it so well that I could feel it as well.
I am proud that I found and watched this because it's so meaningful and mature that I could rewatch a million times.
Credits to the script writer,the production team as well as the actors for the wonderful series.everyone did so well.
This is my first review ever on a series and it was because I am so impressed.

100% well-executed
I may be biased, but I've never watched a show so well-done before. I'm often disappointed by at least one episode, usually the last, but as I just finished watching the last episode of thamepo, I can say this series is by far my all-time favorite. There was no disappointment. The characters are endearing, so much that when they're happy, we're happy, and when they're sad, we're sad. The acting didn't fail, it was just PERFECT, whether it be for the loveliest scenes or the hardest ones. And let's not talk about the songs (PERFECT too). I became a huge fan of LYKNest after thamepo and I'm in for a lifetime support for them. If you love slow burn and romantic scenes, but are ready to cry your eyes out with thamepo too, then this is for you, enjoy!Was this review helpful to you?
But The actjng here is another level. They are soft spoken, they are natural like they knew eo for a really long time, the acting is not exaggerated.
The best part are the music and the cinematography!! The songs are beautiful, well written too. The colors are top, you know when its sad, when they are happy everyting is perfect and we thank P'Mui for that cause no other series had made me feel that way for a long time!!!

Cute n Cringe but mostly Cute
This is one of those dramas that may not give you arrhythmia but will probably make you feel all gooey and warm inside. the story is not really new, and Pos acting is not perfect but somehow it works and had me binging it a bit too fast.The Hate to Love friendships are just so so cute! The music is okay, I admint the so called hit was not really my thing but the rest of the music was sweet. Pos character was kind of meeh but the rest of the guys made up for it. To be honest the 5 guys in the band where a lot mote interesting than our main male lead. However the kisses where decent, the chemestry okay and the honey dripping from Themes eyes whenever he looked at ordinary the Po made it all work.
I rarely feel that I want to learn more about side characters but this is one of those dramas that could make a great spinn off. focusing on Nano, Dylan and Jun.
A sweet, slightly predictable story that is highly bingable and just perfect for all those in need of something sweet.

I have been meaning write a review since the show first came out so here's my bits and pieces i collected from the showI was looking looking forward to watching the since it was first announced in back in april 2024 because the pilot was life changing to me AND i'm glad to say the whole show didn't disappoint me at all. The Acting of WilliamEst and the LYKN members was overall great. The OSTs were literal masterpieces and everything else combined i loved it. I was literally not hopping to fall in love a new CP after years, the last time i loved a CP at this intensity was BKPP LMAO

More than I bargained for and what I didn't know I longed for.
My heart skipped so fast that it about beat out of my chest, tears filled my eyes, and my dreams were suddenly more simple and less out of my reach.
Trying to write this review . . . I'm stuck. Words escape me. Words aren't enough to express the experience I had, though. Words aren't enough to thank this drama, the actors, and all the people behind it. The work, thought, care, and passion put into it.
I will remember ThamePo forever.

Amazing!!!
This story is really beautiful . It shows about idols personal and professional Life and I really loved the acting of each and every one in the series.The emotions they portrayed is so good . I really felt happy while watching each and every episode.Music is really Wowwwww , I literally can't express how I like each and every song of this series.
I already now about LYKN but I was not fan of them but when I started watching epi 1 , I literally started listening to their songs and I absolutely love it.
I really suggest you people to watch this drama depicts how an Idol life is and understand that they are humans too and they have their own personal life and love life but that doesn't mean they don't love us anymore as we are there for each other .
Please watch this drama as I really love the cast and their acting and Osts and beautiful.
