WILLIAMEST IS THAMEPO

First of all, wow! We all didn't expect ep1 this good, it's so good that you just want to watch the entire episodes now. People are also surprised that William is just 19 and it is his first acting gig, in shorter words it's his acting debut. He set his acting debut so high, coz HE CAN ACT!!! As for est, i don't have enough words how good he is, this is his first lead role and his killing it!

Let's jump to ep1, the storytelling, i love it! The introduction to every characters, it's giving fanfiction i love it so much. It's not too much, you can bear it! What I love about it is that, their acting, like damn that confrontation scene where they need to let out every single frustrations they have. po, he was being left by his ex, not acknowledging the things he did for his ex — leaving him questioning his worth.

thame, who's about to leave and carrying a pain too. I'm sure he's hurt in so many aspects, the group is his family, and you'll understand where his coming from when he throws his line to po.

Overall, you can always watch the ep1 while waiting for the next eps. i have so high expectations in the next eps! I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO IT!

Sweet suprise!!!!!!

This series deserves more attention!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The plot is well planned and the pace, cinematography, the music, the editing are all so high standard - the acting of the actors is good as well! At first when this project was announced in GMMTV 2024 part 2, I was kinda attracted by the plot but the acting was not reli natural - they improved SO much after workshops!!!! Huge shoutout to the coaches, all LYKN members are doing a good job but especially Est is portraying the character of Po sooooo well. Coming from a professional athletic background, Est is so manly, masculine and strong but Po is such a soft character, it's def difficult to carry this nicely but not appearing to be awkward! But Est is doing so so well, it makes me so obsessed!

On the downside, I feel like the plot on how MARS was being reunited and how Thame won his boys back was a bit rushed. I was expecting like two more ep in total for this bit but it seems like everyone will be back by ep5. I do appreciate there r limitations regarding the length of the story tho!

Can't wait for the remaining eps to be aired (This story should be of 16 ep!!!!! Not like We Are...)

THAMEPO THE SERIES DESERVES TO BE RECOGNIZED

Lately, I’ve been very picky on what bl/thai series I will watch. I just finished watching HSF, which made me eager to watch a series with the same concept. While I was scrolling through tiktok recommendations, I suddenly came across Thamepo. The spoiler and tiktok edits, the visuals, caught my attention. I just started watching ep 1 and yet the ending of that episode really made me scream, rushing to the next episode. Thame emotional intelligence + communication skills + lines + visual + bonus the innocence hahaha! When he came at the movie cinema, I already know that he would fill in the blank third position of my top three most green flag bl character I know (the top 2 and top 1 is a secret 5555) I watched Thamepo for Est but William made me end up simping for him. Like bro, he's a whole forest! And WilliamEst chemistry is insane! Just then, I knew that Thamepo the series would definitely fall in line with my fav series, and possibly would even topped them. Can’t wait for the next episode!

Worth Of the time watching as a BL fan!!

To put it simply...this drama is wholesome and worth watching as a bl fan...the cast, the acting and the story line are perfectly made for them...and the chemistry between william and est,i didn't expect it. they deserve more recognition and not to skip other actors and members they deserve own series as well.I guess the drama needs to be more popular hope they will.i never wrote reviews this is my first time and i felt like i did right to write a review. A must watch if looking for a unique, well acted, and refreshing story.

I can't even begin to explain my love for this show.
I found out originally about it the day that episode 2 aired through a TikTok. When I heard all the praise I was utterly stunned I had somehow never heard about this show. I figured maybe I had watched the trailer and just wasn't interested. Boy was I wrong. When I watched the trailer (and realized I had never seen it) and also clicked together it was all 5 members of LYKN (a T-POP Group under GMMTV) and Est (who played in High School Frenemy, among other things) I was shocked! I dove right in to what was already out and craved more immediately. Idol stories aren't too common, and it's being done SO well by ThamePo.

The idols in the show are idols in the real world too! And wow.. the chemistry between William and Est has me captivated. I've gotten multiple friends onto the bandwagon of this show and even have watch parties set up every friday with my best friends. I truly and deeply hope that William and Est will become an official pairing. Their chemistry on and off screen is one of my favorites I have seen from ANY GMMTV DUO EVER. If you're on the fence about starting the show, please give it a shot. It's not as cheesy and cliche as a lot of GMMTV's normal stuff, and I know a good lot of people are drawn to GMMTV because of that energy, but it feels more mature and so refreshing. If you're someone drawn to good chemistry and good plot: this is for YOU! I will defend this show with my life.

(P.S.) Also, you don't have to be scared when Thame (William) pulls out a guitar! He's an idol, he can sing, let that worry wash away when you see him with it LOL

BALANCE HIGHLIGHT ON PLOT AND ROMANCE!!

I'm so happy that we finally got another bl series with an actual plot and good storyline. I love the pacing of this series and the love story may look like a slowburn romance but it's necessary for the perfect build up of the story.

Story - It will make you realize the reality in idol industry and the bond between group members. Once you watch this series you will know how the storyline of an idol group is connected in the romance development of the main couple.

Acting - This is my first time watching the main casts except Est. I heard that thamepo is Est (Po) first main role (i already watched him before with meen but i forgot what series is that 😅). One thing about Est is that he's good in micro expression or showing subtle emotions. For William, this is his debut series right? i think he's doing a great job as a rookie actor (love that scene from ep1 when he's emotionally arguing with po) and the other casts who are originally singers/performers but can act too (i think i'm a new fan of lykn now)

Romance - They're not even in their dating era yet and i already screaming giggling kicking my feet punching air throwing my pillows and rolling on the bed. ONE OF THE BEST CHEMISTRY

OST/Music - I really really really love the OST from the intro and the singer's vocals is so addicting.

~I LOVE THE ENDING SCENE EVERY EPISODE, HOW CAN THEY MAKE EVERYTHING 5X MORE ROMANTIC. I hope this series will continue to be good until the end. Please give this series a chance everyone.

ThamePo não é perfeito, mas é cativante

Tenho nem palavras pra descrever o quanto essa série me ganhou. Entrei só curiosa e saí completamente envolvida, do tipo que sorri sozinha revendo cena no celular de madrugada. E o que mais me pegou não foi só o romance, foi o conjunto da obra: os personagens carismáticos, o enredo com pé no chão (mesmo com drama), e aquele sentimento bom de torcer por alguém.

Primeiro ponto que precisa ser celebrado: o boygroup ser real foi um acerto enorme. Isso não só trouxe um nível de autenticidade difícil de fingir, como também elevou a experiência da série. Os meninos não estavam apenas interpretando ídolos, eles são ídolos de verdade. Cantam, dançam, têm carisma e presença de palco, e a química entre eles é palpável, construída fora das câmeras e transbordando em cada cena. Cada performance musical parecia mais do que parte do roteiro, parecia um presente. Aquelas apresentações não só serviam à narrativa, mas também nos lembravam que estávamos acompanhando jovens com sonhos reais, enfrentando a pressão de viver sob os holofotes e, ao mesmo tempo, tentando manter sua essência e suas relações intactas. Essa escolha de elenco foi o que tornou tudo mais orgânico. Não estávamos apenas assistindo personagens fictícios em conflito; estávamos vendo uma história que poderia muito bem estar acontecendo ali, nos bastidores da indústria musical. A sinceridade nos olhares, o cansaço genuíno, o medo de falhar, tudo isso foi sentido de forma mais intensa porque havia verdade por trás das performances. E isso fez toda a diferença.

Thame e Po, como casal, são um absurdo de carisma. É aquele tipo de dinâmica que te faz sorrir só de ver os dois dividindo cena. Tem ternura, tem tensão, tem aquela sensação de que o amor deles vai se construindo com pequenos gestos, olhares demorados e silêncios que dizem tudo. Toda vez que apareciam, era impossível não torcer e ficar sorrindo feito boba.
O mais bonito entre eles é justamente o ritmo calmo e orgânico com que tudo acontece. O Thame, com aquela gentileza meio introspectiva, vai abrindo espaço no coração do Po sem fazer alarde, só estando presente, oferecendo apoio nos momentos mais difíceis e sendo constante num mundo onde tudo parece instável. E o Po, com seu jeitinho mais fechado e defensivo, vai se permitindo sentir, aos poucos, como se estivesse descobrindo o amor pela primeira vez, e talvez estivesse mesmo.
O romance dos dois nunca é forçado. Ele nasce devagar, cresce com os tropeços, e floresce no meio do caos. É por isso que Thame e Po não funcionam apenas como um casal “bonitinho de série”, mas como um par com profundidade, com verdade, com história. Eles são o coração da trama, e nos fazem acreditar, mesmo que por um instante, que amar também pode ser leve. E o melhor: sabiam quando deixar o romance respirar, sem forçar cenas só pra agradar fã. Eu me vi torcendo por eles como se fossem meus amigos tentando recomeçar num mundo injusto.

E não foram só Thame e Po que conquistaram meu coração. Cada um dos garotos do grupo, conseguiu me ganhar à sua maneira. O roteiro fez um ótimo trabalho em humanizar esses meninos, mostrando suas inseguranças, rivalidades, medos e afetos nascendo ali, no meio do caos da indústria do entretenimento. Ver o Jun se cobrando demais, o Dylan tentando provar seu valor, o Nano sempre tentando equilibrar as emoções do grupo, e o Pepper tentando entender seu próprio lugar ali... não tem como não se envolver. O laço entre eles vai muito além da música. Tem amizade, ressentimento, apoio silencioso, e até momentos de pura ternura entre eles, tudo isso retratado com uma naturalidade que emociona. E o melhor é que não são apenas conflitos genéricos: são dilemas críveis, como ciúmes de atenção da mídia, medo de fracassar, a solidão do sucesso e a pressão de ser perfeito o tempo todo. A série consegue, com sensibilidade, mostrar o quanto estar em um boygroup vai muito além de subir no palco. É sobre aguentar, todos os dias, o peso de não poder errar, e ainda assim tentar manter a própria essência no meio disso tudo.

Apesar de tantos elogios e aspectos positivos, ThamePo tem algumas falhas que deixam a desejar, especialmente no desenvolvimento dos conflitos internos dos personagens. Cada um dos garotos vive dramas profundos que mereciam mais espaço e atenção. Por trás dos sorrisos e das performances impecáveis, estão batalhas reais: Thame carrega uma solidão intensa, fruto do peso de liderar e da sensação de estar sempre sozinho, mesmo rodeado por fãs e amigos; Nano enfrenta um conflito de identidade, tentando se entender e se aceitar num ambiente que espera perfeição; Jun carrega uma responsabilidade que parece pesar no olhar, como se ele tivesse que ser o equilíbrio do grupo mesmo quando tudo ameaça desmoronar; Pepper vive uma dor silenciosa, aquela que não se mostra, mas corrói por dentro, fruto de guardar para si as emoções para proteger os outros; e Dylan luta para se manter inteiro diante da pressão constante, tentando não deixar que a frustração e o estresse o destruam por dentro. Todos eles têm histórias poderosas, mas o roteiro, por limitações de tempo ou foco, acaba deixando muitos desses conflitos em segundo plano, dando apenas vislumbres rápidos do que realmente acontece.
E talvez isso torne o envolvimento ainda mais agridoce: a gente se apega, se importa, quer mais. Mas às vezes, quando a história ameaça mergulhar fundo, ela já corta para outro conflito, outro drama, outra música. Os temas estão lá, solidão e isolamento emocional, conflitos de identidade e aceitação pessoal, responsabilidade emocional, dores silenciosas e sacrifícios pessoais, medo do abandono e relacionamentos parasociais (e isso aqui era o que merecia ainda mais atenção), mas nem sempre ganham o tempo de maturação que mereciam.

E vamos ser sinceros: ThamePo não é perfeito. Tropeça no ritmo, sim. Tem antagonistas tão caricatos que parecem saídos de uma novela das oito, daqueles que a gente só aguenta porque quer ver o protagonista vencer logo. Alguns diálogos até escorregam no dramalhão gratuito. E tem também conflitos que são apresentados com força, cheios de potencial emocional, mas resolvidos num piscar de olhos, como se o roteiro tivesse pressa de passar pro próximo momento intenso, deixando o espectador meio no ar, querendo sentir mais, entender melhor. Às vezes, falta fôlego narrativo. A série nos convida a mergulhar, mas nem sempre deixa a gente nadar fundo. Ainda assim, funciona. Porque no fundo, a série entende do que está falando. A base é sólida: relações humanas que convencem. A conexão entre os meninos, a forma como eles se apoiam, se desafiam e, às vezes, se machucam, tudo isso passa verdade. E mesmo quando falta aprofundamento, sobra sentimento. É o tipo de história que poderia ter mais episódios, mais temporadas, mais tempo pra respirar. Mas com o que nos entregaram, já deu pra sentir. E muito.

Agora… aquele último episódio. Que presente. O show no final foi pura catarse. Não foi só bonito, foi simbólico. Depois de tudo que os meninos passaram (sabotagem, insegurança, medo, amores silenciados) ver eles no palco, juntos, entregando tudo, foi como respirar fundo depois de meses de sufoco. Foi um encerramento com gosto de recomeço. Me emocionei real.
E o plano pra impedir o Thame de ir pra Coreia foi o ápice da irmandade que a série construiu bem ao longo dos episódios. Não era sobre segurar ele por egoísmo, mas porque eles sabiam que ele tava indo embora por pressão, não por vontade. E a surpresa do Mick ajudando? Mesmo depois de tudo, ele ainda se importava.
Mas, nem tudo brilhou. A maneira como a chefe deles simplesmente aceitou tudo calada, com uma demissão protocolar e uma dívida jogada no colo do Thame, foi, sinceramente, decepcionante. Depois de ser a principal vilã da opressão, ela merecia um desfecho mais digno da vilania que construiu. Faltou confronto, faltou consequência. Pareceu que o roteiro teve pressa de encerrar o conflito pra correr pro show. E olha, não apagou o brilho do episódio, mas foi um daqueles momentos que a gente pensa: “poxa, dava pra ter ido além”.

Por isso, sim, eu queria uma segunda temporada. Mas não mais sobre reunir o grupo, e sim sobre eles vivendo esse sonho, enfrentando as novas batalhas, descobrindo quem são agora. Eles merecem. E a gente também.
No fim das contas, ThamePo é o tipo de série que deixa a gente leve, com aquele sorriso besta no rosto. Não é perfeita, mas tem alma. E isso, pra mim, vale mais do que roteiro impecável. Eu terminei de coração quentinho e sorriso besta no rosto.

eu tenho acompanhado thamepo desde o primeiro trailer e eu simplesmente não esperava que ia ser TUDO ISSO, mas MEU DEUS.
