THIS MOVIE IS GREAT, WATCH TO BELIEVE AS IT BRINGS BACK GOOD PARTNERSHIP
I am really surprised how good this movie is, because it brings back memories and splendid moments of both Asian Veterans Jackie Chan and Leung Kar Fai both despite at this age but acted so well. Solid 8.5/10 movie and would definitely rewatch it with my family again. We should appreciate the presence of these both veterans while they are still living ,truly living legends of the movie industryWas this review helpful to you?
Best Action Movie for The Past Few Years
People, go to cinema right now and watch this show!✅ Incredible action scenes, every fighting scenes literally keep me on edges!!! If this wasn't chinese movie, this would hit 9 or more 😔 They deserve more for this aspect alone.
✅ The wolf gang are visual feast lmao. I think the godfather pick them up by visual 😂
✅ Main villain is so charismatic and brutal.
✅ No need to question all acting, Jackie Chan? Tony Leung Ka Fai? They are the top one.
The story alone is actually the usual catch the criminal type of movie, what made it more special is the action scenes. I want to rewatch just to appreciate the action choreography alone, parkour, the gunfight, close combat, all type of martial arts, especially the opening, that was magical 😫 China, let's go back to your root and release more action moviess!! I want my childhood memories back, especially kungfu theme 😔

Best Movie of 2025: The Shadow’s Edge
I will be rewatching this in theatre and then buying it to rewatch a million times over when it’s available!!The acting, the storyline from start to finish—a true masterpiece. This has to be the Best Movie of 2025 for me, and I don’t usually rate things very highly! This also has to be my new favourite movie. I don’t usually have a favourite but this one has left me wanting more, in a positive way, to the point of getting every family member, friends and colleagues to watch also! I cannot wait to see more from ‘The Shadow’s Edge’ cast and production.
I definitely recommend watching—I will be!

worth the watch
loved the story. it had all the essences of a Jackie Chan movie. Comedy, stunts, suspense etc. this is the first ever Chinese movie that I have watched in the cinemas. Every actor did a great job. the stunts were amazing and the punches were sharp. special mention to our lovely Wen Junhui. he did an amazing job. loved watching this side of his. this proves his versatility. Ci Sha has done a great job as always. loved whole cast. Zhang Zi Feng also deserves a special mention. the way she carried the emotional side of the movie💗💗💗Was this review helpful to you?

exceeded expectations!!
I went in to watch the movie on a friday night after work partially to support Jun (being a carat) and also i really enjoy action movies and it has THE JACKIE CHAN. However, I didnt have much expectations plot and directing wise.. BUT wow they shot down all my concerns in the first 5mins itself.The introduction of the 2 teams were done so well. Throughout the movie both sides had their moments to shine. It was not a movie where one side is always lacking behind the other or isnt smart enough. Usually in these movies they always make it like the police are incompetent but wow in this the strategy play was done so well.
The villains had their moment to shine and at the same time even the good guys did. The acting was amazing by everyone especially the 2 veteran actors. Their stunts and actions scenes were so clean and crisp it was really satisfying to watch.
Although Jun's role was not very big but there was this intense fight scene with jackie chan and the fight choreography was amazing for that scene. Really kept me on my edge
Honestly, there isnt much plot, its really a story of strategic play between 2 strong experienced leaders. The movie directing was good, pacing was good as well and i liked the small comedic elements thrown occasionally.
Overall it was really a good watch. I would recommend it as well!
