Perfect mixture of mature romance and comedy. Side characters could have been better.
I was looking to watch a mature kdrama because i was bored of watching high school romances. The drama provides what I came looking for. Both the leads are so great. They are both so funny and cute, communicate well, take care of each other. They are now in my top couples list. I really liked everything there was about the leads.Jae gyu is such a green flag omg !! Both of them from the starting were smitten by each other. Jae gyu is a tough masculine guy but on the other hand he is so cute when he gets all flustured and hopefull that his crush might like him back. The switch in both his personalities is so fun to watch. Bom is so cute as well. I really liked how she was straightforward in telling the ML her feelings. She was funny and caring and strong.
Some side characters like the twins and philip and jiu jitsu group were really fun, but most side characters were just mehhh. sejin and han gyul specially were really annoying. I did not enjoy the teenagers except for thier confession scene. I feel so bad I cant rate this 10/10 simply bcs of this reason.
I would highly recommend this drama to people who want to watch a light mature k drama and are okay with skipping the side characters lol. The leads 10000% carried this show. This is very very funny and you will laugh out loud at almost all the episodes. I also see myself rewatching this drama bcs of how funny it was. Its so hard to say goodbye to them bcs of how fun this has been.
Ahn Bo Hyun has done such a gooood job, I am now a new fan. I saw he does'nt do romcoms often, i would love to see him in more romcoms tho. Lee Joo Bin is so cute and acts so well with her expressions. They had the perfect chemistry 10/10.

Spring comes and goes, but Jae Gyu's carlifting charm is eternal!
Spring Fever didn't try to save the world or reinvent the whole Romcom genre, but it still managed to uplift your mood every week. It's a well-made CRAZY FUN drama!If you only watch one trailer, you know exactly what you're gonna get. If you love lighthearted fun romcoms with over the top madness that is basically on the level with "Strong Girl Bong Soon", you have to watch this!
The story is not extraordinary or complex, but the writer handled everything well. Pretty much every main, and even some side characters are likable, and when they're not there's an understandable reason why.
The main story about Jae Gyu being a single parent of his nephew, and how everyone treats him like a ganster, because of his looks was properly written, but it wasn't perfect. It's hard to believe that no one knew anything about his background and his job, but other than that it was good. His relationship with Han Gyeol and Bom was more important than to complain about a small issue like this. Bo Hyun and Joo Bin were amazing together, and funny. I have to give props to the writer, because they surprised me in the finale in a way. The ending was predictable, but it wasn't cheesy, it was funny, and the the gift in the box story-line was not only funny, but also meaningful. I expected something like that from Jae Gyu, and he didn't disappoint.
As for the side characters like Han Gyeol and the story with his mom was decent, nothing I can complain about really. I'm glad they didn't write a typical "happy ending" type of plot. The middle ground was enough, but I'm not sure if I would give her an ending like this. Han Gyeol and Sejin were probably the most controversial (?) part of the story, but I never felt I should hate any of them. They are just typical teens making dumb mistakes. So for me it was as realistic as it gets. I didn't like what he did, especially because he's a smart kid, but smart people make stupid mistakes as well. Thankfully, they didn't drag this out for too long.
I wasn't a big fan of the teachers at first, but Jin Hyeok and Hye Suk were pretty funny together, and that's why I have to mention them.
I didn't like what they did with Bom and Jae Gyu in the finale. Bom's story could've been solved without that, but I didn't miss any legal drama, so I'm glad the writer didn't add any of that to the story.
So, overall this was a fun ride with high rewatch value.

Ahn Bo-hyun continues to prove he has incredible range; he shifts from a commanding presence to tenderness without it ever feeling forced, achieving a perfect balance between physical toughness and a heart-wrenching vulnerability. Honestly, I hope to see him in many more dramas. Lee Joo-bin finally takes on a role where she can truly shine. Her performance is elegant yet nuanced; she isn't your typical damsel in distress, and I loved seeing a woman who knew how to handle her own situation.
The chemistry between them is simply delightful. It’s the kind of slow-burn connection that feels real, far from the basic "love at first sight" tropes. In the end, Spring Fever is a reminder not to judge a K-drama by its poster. Beneath the spring aesthetic, there’s a story with much more weight and honesty than it seems. It exceeded my prejudices, and I’m sure it will yours too.

From the beginning of the drama, I already knew what many people were thinking about who Seon Jae-gyu really is and honestly, I thought the same at first too 👀.The misunderstandings and rumors people spread about him show how dangerous gossip can be. Rumors can really damage how others see someone 😔.
Jae-gyu is the kind of man you can call a brother, father, uncle, or even a godfather. Imagine a grown man putting his life on pause just to take care of someone he loves 🥺 that alone says a lot about his heart.
Yoon Bom left her past behind to heal and start fresh 🌸, but misunderstandings still followed her. Thankfully, things were cleared up later.
Now let’s talk about Jae-gyu’s nephew… or maybe son 👀. The fact that his mother suddenly wanted to be in his life after everything is honestly wild to me 😭.
But here’s what I truly learned from this drama ✨:
If rumors spread about you, it’s better to clear them early instead of letting people believe the wrong story. Leaving it too long only creates more misunderstanding.
Judging someone you don’t know or judging based on what others say instead of what you see yourself — is never a good thing 🚫.

Charming, entertaining and yet so heartfelt
Before I'll start with the actual review, I'd like to give some context about me: I've never been a huge fan of romance-focused stories. Romance is not a genre I dislike but I wasn't the biggest fan either. Before I got into kdramas, I was aware of the popularity of their romance stories.I'm gonna be very direct. For years, I had developed a dislike for the tropes and the way they were presented. Slow motion sequences, "under the umbrella" scenes, miscommunication, awkward flirting...Every time I would stumble across clips like these, I would cringe and wonder how could people enjoy that. I couldn't imagine myself indulging in a story with this structure. I thought that the kdrama style wasn't for me and for years, I kept avoiding them.
Well, here I am now, in the year of 2026 to report that I am a changed person.
Spring Fever is the first romcom I've watched. I have watched other romantic stories like Yuri On Ice, Heartstopper, Pride and Prejudice and Emma but none of them had this slapstick, romcom style. It was a spontaneous decision to pick up this drama. I had seen the posters and the teasers and since it seemed lighthearted, I thought that it wouldn't harm me if I gave it a try. I debated about it since it was very out of my league but in the end, I gave in. And oh boy, did it pay off!
Spring Fever is exactly what its name indicates. It was a very cozy drama and with every single episode, the story kept blooming. Even though I prefer dramas which delve deeper in terms of themes and characterisation, I was very relieved to see that Spring Fever didn't lose its identity throughout its run. It obviously included some emotional heavier scenes of course and it tackled some important issues but not at the expense of its initial style.
The writers did a great job handling the different plot points together. While the main couple, Yoon Bom and Seon Jae Gyu were undoubtedly the heart of the story, it was nice to see them shine on their own or have the opportunity to observe other characters, too. For the most past, the pacing of the drama was very good and it contributed to the overall development of the story and the characters.
The majority of the subplots were entertaining to watch. I became invested in the teachers' drama and the relationship between I Jun and Jae Gyu. I was rooting very hard for Bom to prove her innocence and I was eager to learn more about Jae Gyu's past. The various subplots enhanced the slice-of-life aspect and by making other characters the center of attention, we saw more of their community and emotions as individuals. The romance was always the main point but it was nice to see that there were other significant moments, too.
While the comedy was never absent, I appreciated the more laid-back and emotional moments, especially during the last episodes. Spring Fever tackled some serious themes and it was nice to see that the writers treated them with respect instead of forcing a joke in inappropriate moments. During episode 11, there were some scenes which unexpectedly made me shed some tears and I liked how the writers let their characters be vulnerable when needed instead of minimizing their pain.
One thing I must praise Spring Fever for is the cinematography and editing. There were various breathtaking and relaxing shots from the countryside, the director did a fantastic job capturing the beauty of Sinsu. The color grading was absolutely perfect. The vibrant hues enhanced the positive tone of the story, making the story even more "colorful". Even during the night scenes, the colours were so vivid!
Spring Fever was the perfect type of story to accompany me during my university exams period. After long studying sessions, I was always looking forward to relax and watch the new episodes in peace. I was giggling like a lovesick teenager while watching Bom and Jae Gyu's shenanigans and many scenes made me burst out laughing. The comedic elements were incorporated very well and they didn't feel forced, as I initially feared. There are some scenes which I'm thinking about and still make me laugh.
Bom and Jae Gyu were so interesting as individuals and later as a couple. Their relationship developed organically and their interactions were so fun to watch. Their personalities were so different and yet they complimented each other so much. There were many moments which made me squeal from happiness and throughout the drama, I couldn't get enough of them.
Both Bom and Jae Gyu had to fight their own demons which they tried to hide under their masks. Both of them tried to find shelter by bottling up their feelings. Bom, after experiencing injustice and betrayal from her parents, became colder and less enthusiastic while Jae Gyu, haunted by his past, put up the facade of an energetic citizen, who had nothing to worry about. It was so beautiful to see that the closer they got to each other, the more the walls that they had built around themselves started to shatter.
I'm very thankful that the writers put no unnecessary misunderstandings between Bom and Jae Gyu! Even though there were some minor problems here and there, they always solved them very quickly and once they became an official couple, they communicated with each other and opened up more. Trust and communication are vital for a healthy relationship and Spring Fever made sure to make its message clear. In addition, it was so refreshing to see both Bom and Jae Gyu be there for each other. The first half focused more on Jae Gyu helping Bom around while the latter half showed Bom supporting Jae Gyu more, which was so important for their growth as a couple. They understood each other and they gave each other space when necessary while still being close. I already miss them as I'm typing this!
Both actors did an excellent job bringing their characters to life, not to mention the amazing chemistry they had. Lee Joo Bin was so engaging to watch, I loved the way she used her facial expressions to express Bom's emotions, particularly when she was surprised. She really shined in this role and she highlighted Bom's complexity. The same applies to Ahn Bo Hyun, he nailed both the comedic and emotional aspects of Jae Gyu's character, unveiling his characters' layers. Furthermore, he was effortlessly funny while portraying Jae Gyu's shenanigans and he never came across as cringe.
Although I had an amazing time watching Spring Fever, there were some parts that could have been better in order to improve the story even more. It would have been nice if the psychological aspect of the characters had been written in even more depth throughout the episodes. Not something very bleak but not very superficial either. The last episodes did a great job with this subject, particularly when it came to Jae Gyu's feelings, so I think that this could have happened in the earlier episodes too.
The story as a whole remained charming and very engaging but there were times where I felt my attention wandered. There were some scenes that felt more filler and while they were by no means bad, I think that they could have been reduced in order to highlight other aspects of the plot.
Even though I warmed up to Han Gyul and Se Jin's subplot, I must admit that I wasn't fully invested in it. I totally understand that it's a classic teenage love story but their initial relationship of Han Gyul acting like a lovesick puppy while Se Jin mistreated him wasn't that fun to watch. Se Jin's character had potential for more given the pressure she experienced from her parents to do great at school. I really appreciated her development but her character could have been handled better and her change of attitude could have been more natural.
Overall, Spring Fever was a very charming and cozy series, one I definitely do not regret watching. I'm so happy for this being my introduction to the romcom genre and I feel so proud of myself after expanding my taste. Bom and Jae Gyu will continue to accompany me and I can totally see myself rewatching the drama in the future if I'm in need for something sweet and comforting. I strongly recommend it to people who want a nice romcom. It might not be a masterpiece but it will definitely make you bloom.

Cute Comforting and Lovable
This is honestly one of the cutest K-dramas I’ve ever watched. Ahn Bo-hyun has long been one of my favorites, and this role suited him perfectly the badass, bully-coded, alpha hero energy was chef’s kiss. He owned it.Lee Joo-bin is an absolute sight for sore eyes. The size difference between them made everything even more adorable, but what I loved most was how natural she felt in the role. She was cute, yes but never in an unnecessary or forced way. She balanced sweetness with maturity beautifully, which made her character so easy to love.
The teenagers arc was slightly boring, but never unbearable. The pacing stayed tight and engaging. The supporting characters were all likable and added warmth to the story without dragging it down.
Overall, this was such a healing, lovable drama with a beautifully matched cast. It’s a solid watch, and I really hope we get more dramas like this simple, heartfelt, and perfectly cast.

Happiness wrapped into one drama!
Genuinely don’t think there was a moment I wasn’t laughing or smiling (Obviously, that’s dramatic. There were points where my emotions were all over) butttttt overall this drama just gave you happy bubbly feelings at the end of episodes at the beginning of episode in the middle of episodes.There were obviously some touchy subjects and a few bumps along the way but they weren’t really emotionally destroying the whole series on all the episodes genuinely just made you feel really happy and I haven’t watched a drama like that in such a long time most have a really dramatic part and then growth whereas this was just all happiness with like a side of growth and I LOVED it!!
I liked the beginning the prosecutor Doberman references they made me laugh so hard because I just wasn’t expecting it but it was so so good!
the main male character is the only one I recognise personally however I think the cast was so good and I would definitely look them up for further dramas in the future and I might even look up some of their older dramas as well!
I would recommend this drama to anybody who wants a smile on their face and to be laughing and having a great time without too much effort!!

Soft Romance with Mature Leads <3
This drama has a comforting tone and is a relaxing watch for anyone who wants something sweet and gentle. Rom-com with small town vibes, both leads are amazing.Shows healing, sweet, and amazing chemistry moments.

This story is simple, funny, comforting and joyful.It is the sweet macaron offered by the hero to cheer you up.
It is a flame in the darkness.

A cosy book in front of the fireplace.
I smiled at every episode and waited impatiently for Mondays and Tuesdays, something I hadn't done in over two years. It reminded me of how much I used to love Korean stories.
What's more, this is probably the most balanced, mature and funny couple I've seen in a series. It's enjoyable. It's joyful.

I genuinely love all of them, but “A Season That Was You” by JaeYeon lingers the most—it stays in my head, in my chest, refusing to leave. The melody alone already aches, but when paired with Seon Jaegyu’s story, it completely melts my heart. An explosive and fun drama that grows on you
LIKED:- ABH as explosive and overbearing at times but warm inside Jae Gyu is just perfect casting. He has really good comic timings something we even saw in Flex Cop. The same goes for LJB who as Yun Bom being polar opposite off Jae Gyu also nails her role. The chemistry between them is fuckin good and fun to watch.
- The supporting cast does so well especially in humorous moments. The relation between characters both leads and supporting really grows on you with time and only makes things more fun.
- So far the story is engaging and funny at times. The relation progress between the leads isn't too fast and at a good pace. The story isn't something out of the box and does pull of some generic tropes but still manages to make you chuckle.
- One of the best things about this drams is they don't drag misunderstandings or add too much of extra melodrama to it but actually deal with it in good time while keep everything light hearted.
- The drama really exceeded my expectations. Ignoring a few hiccups and the teenagers storyline it is a fun, humorous and heartwarming watch.
DISLIKED:
- The only two characters and the arc I am not liking at all is between Han Gyeol and Se Jin as both are just atrocious to look at.
I don't know what writers were trying to pull off with both of them if it was to make it look cute then they have failed with flying colors. Every time these two show up on screen, I simply skip through it as it makes my blood boil to look at them both. it does gets a little bearable by the end but still something you wouldn't really care.
