Simple but okay drama
I started watching it when it came out and I saw the trailer for it and it looked interesting and I couldn't wait for it. The first 5/6 episodes were interesting, later I just forced myself to watch it, I just didn't want to give up on it when I was halfway through the series. Somehow I already saw this a classic romantic comedy and I just watched it when I was really bored. Some parts are funny and interesting. I thought the dog they adopted was too cute and that was really cute and interesting in the series. Was this review helpful to you?
IT'S A SIMPLE ROM-COM AND HEALING
It follows Yoon Bom, a high school teacher who flees the intense scrutiny and emotional turmoil of Seoul to take a job in the quiet, fictional seaside town of Sinsu. She arrives guarded, cold, and dressed almost exclusively in black until she meets the human equivalent of a hurricane, Sun Jae-gyu. Jae-gyu is the CEO of JK Power Energy and the local 'legend' known for his buff exterior and his absurdly high energy. In reality, he's a 'golden retriever' in a giant's body, a devoted uncle raising his nephew, and a man with a heart of gold. Moreover, the chemistry relies on the contrast between Yoon Bom's icy detachment and Jae-gyu's 'unpredictable man without brakes' energy. Ahn Bo-hyun received huge praise for balancing his physical 'action star' build with a comedic, soft-hearted performance. Also, it's quite similar to Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha; the drama uses its setting beautifully. The seaside landscapes and quirky villagers provide a 'comfort watch' vibe. Directed by Park Won-gook ( made Marry My Husband), the show includes intentionally silly, almost 'superhero-lite' moments like Jae-gyu running with 'thunderous speed'to catch a train.
However, the only critical part is that other viewers find this drama to be too simple, but that's its charm in my opinion. It's light without being shallow, as it deals with heavy themes such as trauma and rumors, but it never stays in the dark for too long

Simple yet Entertaining ROMCOM
Full on laughs.Light-Hearted.
Healthy Relationship.
No Love Traingle ( although lawyer also likes FL, after 2 episodes it was not shown).
Story starts with FL moving to countryside and living there and revolves around the school with ML and FL main focus. Liked the side characters comedy and relationship they share. Every problem is resolved positively. After all the drama the show ends with what sharted and closed the painful part of FL beautifully and more easy going ( Not like other dramas, they point out critisism and drag out). If you want some simple fun watch, go for it. will enjoy.

A Hit-and-Miss Small-Town Romance
Spring Fever is a hit and miss. It starts off fun, especially with the male lead’s almost Ken-like comedic charm, and the early “getting to know each other” phase was the highlight. But after that, it loses momentum. It’s not binge-worthy or something you eagerly wait for each week — more of a background watch while doing other things. The female lead’s emotional conflict fades too quickly, and the side plots drag the story down.
Not a bad drama, but very average overall. Definitely could have been better.

Super Simple and Sweet
I have literally been on the biggest K-Drama slump, but this drama dragged me out of it!It's a very simple, heartwarming story. The chemistry is amazing, especially with the main leads. The teen and older adult leads were a bit awkward in some ways, but other than that, it was great. I love that it showed love and affection for all ages.
Ahn Bohyun also looks super hot in this drama, so that's a major plus. The zooming-ins were very intentional, and very much needed.
I will say, the continuous advertisements really did piss me off. I mean, how many times can one say Subway is good? Also, the second lead was annoying. Very attractive, but irritating.
But overall, I would recommend this if you missed the old K-Drama romcom feel. It definitely doesn't fully capture it, but it does its best. It's so soft and warm to watch.

The sweetest story
This is the kind of kdrama that is just fun and light and sweet. I really enjoyed the vibrant colors and playful cast. It was fun to see everyone in the cast acting in such a charming and light-hearted series. Especially Ahn Bo Hyun playing the very straight forward and earnest Seon Jae Ghu.The rural coast setting was so charming too - it's the perfect series to watch when you just want something cozy and comforting.

This one got me out of my drama slump era
I'm so happy to write this review. One of the most satisfying watches I've ever had. I won't say it's life changing or anything but sometimes you need a drama like this to cleanse your brain which is filled with seriousness. Also I don't like the forced bromance a lot of the time. This one was so natural and I loved it. I also like how for the second lead, they didn't make it his entire personality. In a lot of dramas the love triangle tends to irk me sometimes. But this one didn't have that problem. Also the humour of the drama is something I vibe with. It had mentioned hooked. One of the main reasons I stuck with it till the end.Was this review helpful to you?
Charming in its simplicity
It’s a really light, typical rom-com, and the over-the-top exaggeration is its charm - that’s what made it so fun for me. It’s not going to be everyone’s favourite, and it’s pretty average overall, but it’s the best kind of average. Just a simple, breezy comedy you can relax with. Was this review helpful to you?
Easy binge, brain off mindless entertainment
This was a fun watch, a bit silly at times but mostly adorable with decent characters and one of dreamlands most adorable dogs.It is a brain off kind of drama, the type where you just sit back, enjoy the references to other dramas and kind of ignore the silly parts. The female lead is smart, fun, sweet and has an interesting storyas to tell as well as good character development. Her life mantra tells a lot a bout the way women often are forced to silence just to be able to make t through the day. This drama also shows the difference between surviving (barely) and living on ones own terms.
The drama also offers quite a bit of insight to prejudice and friendship, pitty vs. thoughtfulness and a bunch of ways to depict family done pretty okay.
Our male lead is adorable in so many ways, well stiled a feast for the eye.
Pacing is also pretty okay, just mind the over the top misunderstandings and complete lack of logic and you will be fine.

An Appetizer Drama for the new, weary and/or desperate
Is it an amazing, revolutionary, incomparable, extraordinary drama? No.But, it never tries to be, either. From the first episode, it is shallow, silly, romcom, little stakes, too much dumbass-ery and way too obvious PPL--like in the middle of an emotional moment, our leads suddenly start raving about the taste of this Subway sandwich they are eating and I'm just like ???? were we not crying just now????
Because it doesn't try to be great, it does well in being average. If you are new to kdrama, if you are recovering form something heavy and emotional, if you are missing the early 00's cringe factor, if you have nothing else going on--this is the answer.
If you want a masterpiece, I suggest you keep searching somewhere else.
My one issue with the drama, the only one I want to highlight, is that writers need to stop putting in traumas if they are not going to give it the proper resolution it deserves--even if its a silly drama emotional payoff is necessary for the viewers and here we had none of it. All the delicious angst was missing :/

A good rom-com
I enjoyed this rom-com. There is no love triangles. Just two people meeting and liking each other.I find it hilarious how strong Seon Jae Gyu is and though he likes Yun Bom he didnt overstep his boundaries.
KNowing that, Choi I Jun didnt make it difficult for them nor tried to stop them from being together and I like that. It showed respect.
Choi Se Jin, was the character I hated. She is very very very selfish. You will see why. Seon Han Gyeol has a soft spot for her and I would jeopardize my education for anyone....

not too bad and not that good
it was really entertaining in the beginning and I really liked it but when it got to like eps 6 it started becoming to boring to me. character like sejin( the female student) was annoying the hell out of me, SL was so useless and doesn’t even feel like SL. visuals was mid except the FL she was really pretty. ML was okay and funny I guess. the ending feelt rushed and I felt like it could have gone deeper with the FL traumatic past. The twins were funny some side characters were just there for the sake of side characters. Even when they were kissing and having romantic skinship I was fast forwarding even though that is what I like the most and was not entertained. the skip button was my favourite part from eps 8. But overall it was not too bad and okay. Was this review helpful to you?
