I only wish it never had to end
Despite there only being four episodes, the pacing was always perfect. Each episode makes sure a lot is accomplished without giving the feeling of progress being rushed. We're given enough time to understand Err at the start while also being given room to understand him more as he lets down his walls around Mawin. At the same time, we get to learn about Mawin at a reasonable pace throughout the show. We are given hints from early on that there is more to him than what Err sees, without exposing it all at once so that we as viewers can get to know him alongside Err.While the stakes seem high for the characters, there's no shortage of comedy. We're obviously not given as much time to learn about all of the supporting characters as we get with the leads, but they don't lack depth for the most part. We get to see them being kids and having fun. We see they have their own flaws, motivations, and goals. They aren't just there to be forgotten.
As for the lead actors, I think these roles really suited them. Sea's acting in previous work was on the weaker side; however, playing a socially awkward character in this series worked in his favour. It didn't feel like watching a charismatic actor pretending to be shy. It felt like watching a socially awkward teenager opening up, which is what you want. You don't want to watch a show and just see the actor. The best acting is when it's as though we are watching the lives of real people. And of course, his acting has improved as well. Keen also did a great job. He can believably portray both the fun-loving side of Err and the studious, anxious Err without making either one seem forced. Both leads clearly put effort into their portrayals and it carries the show.
There isn't a single scene that feels wasted or without purpose, and there aren't any visual plot holes aside from typical changes in position between takes. You can go back to rewatch episodes to look in the background or at smaller details, and they line up with later parts of the story. There's a good balance in the use of music, where it's not constantly crammed in and we are left to listen to the ambiance during certain scenes. Conflict in the show is reasonable and not drawn out for the viewers at least. I think with just one more episode, it would be the perfect show for me.

Bright, Fun, and Full of Heart - MuTeLuv: Hi by My Luck Shines with KeenSea
It’s such a joy to see KeenSea from OnlyBoo! back together, and once again their chemistry absolutely lights up the screen. Who would have thought that a seemingly boring school subject like maths could be transformed into such a charming, entertaining story? GMMTV managed to take something ordinary and turn it into something fresh, funny, and full of heart. The pacing is smooth from start to finish, the soundtrack fits every moment perfectly, and the chemistry between the leads feels so natural that it’s impossible not to smile. I wasn’t bored for a single second, this short series balances lighthearted comedy with just the right touch of emotion. It’s the perfect little pick-me-up after a long Monday.
If I had one critique, it’s simply that it’s too short. With only four episodes, I found myself wishing for more. But then again, that’s the beauty of MuTeLuv: an anthology of seven unique stories, with Hi by My Luck serving as the perfect starting point.
A sweet, fun, and heartwarming watch. I can’t wait to see the next story in the anthology.

"Hi"! - my (un)likely love
I'm just so happy to see Sea and Keen together on screen again."Hi" by my luck follows Err, our self proclaimed "race horse" and high achiever as he braces for life with new competition in the form of Mawin, our "dark horse". Both of them qualify for a highly competitive, high stakes math camp - and the payoff is a scholarship to a school of their choice. But plot twist! Err's confidence was also shaken with Mawin's appearance in his life, and he's been consulting an online fortune teller on the advice of his friend.
Err has gotten advice previously on how to pass a sports examination and the entrance test for math camp, and his newest query is how to get the scholarship. His fortune says - make Mawin fall for him. At least that's how he interprets it, because his fortune teller is kind of vague.
And while at the camp, he and Mawin get closer. They were classmates and they were roomates and Err doesn't feel comfortable following through with his interpretation of the reading the closer he gets to Mawin. Because despite himself, they've grown close, friends.. maybe even more.
Without going into too much detail, I'm glad the fortune teller aspect wasn't exactly what I thought it would be and not as influential in the plot as the premise made it out to be. Because it was wonderful to see the relationship between Win and Err grow ever so slowly before it suddenly bloomed, showing us both their personalities and exactly why they would be a good pair.
Sea and Keen were as wonderful, maybe even better, as I remember them in Only Boo, and their cute chemistry truly worked for this kind of story. It was a very 'enemies - to - lovers'/'first love' kind of story, and they were a perfect choice.
That being said, this is a perfect weekend watch for when you're looking for something short and sweet, and perfect re-watch while we all wait for Head 2 Head ♡

Strong follow-up by SeaKeen
Since this is a miniseries, I’ll do a mini-review.Loved the concise storytelling, made possible by good writing and focusing on the main character. Also: all key aspects of a good BL story were neatly included in the script – something most Thai BLs have a problem with.
Unlike many BLs, this show has a single main character – Err – and not two main characters/main couple. Err is also the POV character for almost the entire show – only a handful of scenes had Mawin as a POV character. All that was kind of new for me as a BL consumer, but worked fine.
The cinematography, lighting and coloring were very good, giving the show an original, almost unique feeling – despite being shot in a rather mundane and ordinary surrounding. Kudos to the cinematography team.
Due to the show’s setting it required several support roles, but – despite of them populating the screen quite often – the show wisely did not stray into side plot/side characters territory. This also gave GMMTV an opportunity to let several of their rookies do something in front of a camera: Juno, Sangt, Tham and Titan debuted in this show, while the more experienced Acare, Aun, Captain and Chokun got more to do.
The show works so well thanks to very solid performances by both Keen (which was no surprise) and Sea (which I enjoyed immensely). The chemistry is there and while initially it may seem that the script is playing to the strengths of both actors (Keen – again – as the energetic half of the duo and Sea – again – portraying a withdrawn, toned down character) it all changes quickly – both Keen and Sea are fully unleashed, showcasing more of their range. Sea’s Mawin making some very good passes on Keen’s Err was a delight to watch.
SeaKeen’s second show confirmed that this ship is strong and improving. A little BL gem.

SO CUTE
had so much fun watching this as it was airing, this is my first seakeen series and i loved their chemistry!!the acting felt natural and their lovey dovey moments just had me giggling kicking my feet, such a shame it was only 4 episodes 😭😭. I’m definitely watching only boo after this cause I have not gotten enough of them.
But yeah this was a very chill, good vibe drama with cute high school romance that gets you giddy and fun characters, no toxicity, no stress just a fun watch, so would deffo recommend to anyone who loves those kind of series!!

Lovely story
I recently discovered Sea and Keen through this series, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed the story, which was both sweet and had a very satisfying ending. With so few episodes, GMMTV managed to create endearing and well-developed characters. I especially loved the character of Mawin, who, in my opinion, is one of the best love interests in a BL: caring, a little clumsy, but always doing his best to help others, especially Err.
I also found it interesting, even if handled lightly, how the series showed the pressure of schoolwork and the jealousy it can create among young people. It added a realistic touch while still being heartwarming.
Finally, I have to admit I was a bit surprised by the kissing scenes: I thought that style was a little outdated. I wasn’t expecting anything overly passionate, but I found the choice quite curious.
Overall, it was truly a sweet and enjoyable series to watch. I definitely recommend it!

Best example of short and sweet
A painpoint I have with recent GMMTV BL series is when they go off track and/or force the comedy or drama into the plot. That’s where I struggle to complete an episode or a serie. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t have it with this one. In fact I managed to finish all 4 episodes in one go, as I enjoyed it so much. The plot has a clear objective, and so do the characters and their personas. The conflicts, resolutions and even the build up to sweet moments are not overdone. The chemistry of the main couple and the friend group is great, and the romance and struggles are realistic and relatable for their age.
As predictable as the “plot twist” was, the writer/s managed to cross the bridge with little difficulty and give us a satisfying and heartwarming ending. It reminded me of the days of my youth — pressure that came from expectations as well as the feeling of falling in love for the first time.
Writing is proper, the cinematography is top notch, and of course, it’s not a thai show without the quirky SFX.
4-episodes and I wouldn’t ask for more. This show achieved what it was meant to achieve.

Short And Sweet
A light love story of teenager misunderstandings.Sea has grown a lot as an actor since Only Boo. There were definitely moments where he looked and sounded more grown.
Being honest, I didn't love them in Only Boo, but this rivals to lovers story feels like a teaser taste and makes me excited for their next project, Head 2 Head.
Chokun and Aun were adorable; the next generation of GMM actors/actresses are all proving themselves.

A short but sweet series to warm your heart
Even though the series only has four episodes and ended too early, they managed to pace the characters' development so that the next one wasn't too rushed. The plot and the series itself are well-directed, organized, and easy to understand.Aside from the fact that SeaKeen's acting isn't 100% perfect yet, they did a great job playing their roles as the two protagonists. Especially Sea's performance as Mawin; he's improved since Only Boo! Perhaps playing the shyer character while Keen plays the more energetic one will be more their vibe, which is why it worked so well!
In conclusion, it's a good miniseries for those who enjoy fluff, serene and warm series with kind and good-hearted characters!
