Both are set in the entertainment industry, with one ML being possessive but very supportive of the other.
The relationship dynamic is more or less similar and so is the setting. Both shows have a solid cast with great production compared to some other shows recommended under 'Reset's' page.

Top Form is a more serious version of 25:00 in Akasaka. Both are really great and feature a budding actor in the industry and a veteran actor falling in love and facing obstacles in the process. I've rewatched both—they're so good!

Both are BLs where a veteran actor and a rookie actor get paired in a drama, the younger is a fan of the older. The veteran initially finds him annoying but ends up falling harder.

Top Form feels very similar to Idol I. Both show the dark side of fame, toxic fans, stalking invasion of privacy, and the pressure to keep fans happy at the cost of personal comfort.

Both are Thai BL dramas about the entertainment industry and red flag love interest. In Top Form, both main leads are actors that are lovers to rivals while in My Stand-In, one main lead is a stuntman/aspiring actor and the other is a model/buisnessman in the industry.

Both similarly are set behind-the-scenes of the the movie industry, where love blooms and drama occurs!

Both drama follow actors, one seasoned and one new actor, falling in love. They have to hide their love for each other as they're constantly under the limelight of fame. The industry and their rivalry to be the best brings them turmoil and tension.

Just like how Duang yearns for Qui, Jin in "Top form" chases after Akin and shows how much effort he puts into his love for him. They are both very similar in the "golden retriever" energy.

I chose Top Form because both stories blend rehearsal life, group chemistry, and an almost forbidden love. In each drama the leads know their feelings could ruin everything, so the romance simmers under the surface until it finally breaks through. That mix of teamwork, performance pressure, and love that “shouldn’t” happen feels identical in the best way.

Both Top Form and Between Us really rely on the chemistry between the main couple to carry the story, and it works so well. A lot of the emotion comes through small looks and quiet moments rather than big dramatic scenes, which makes the relationship feel more real. The progression between the characters feels natural and earned, with trust and vulnerability building over time instead of being rushed. There’s also not much filler, so most scenes actually matter and push the relationship forward. In the end, both shows leave you with that same warm, healing feeling because you’ve really gone through the emotional journey with them.
