​It seems like PM Min is embracing the antagonist role completely now, but I don't understand if his goal is just to get Huiju for himself (which never will happen, might I add), or just get rid of Ian out of jealousy—or maybe other reasons... 🤷‍♀️ I really hope Ian wasn't inside that burning building after all. 🙏​

As for the Queen Mother, I hope she sees now that she cannot continue the way she has and she needs to change—if not for herself, then at least for her son. The poor boy is suffering and living in constant stress and emotional misery. He needs to be protected not as a king, but as a child. 🥺🫂​

so as her father suggested, huiju plans to divorce yian as the only thing that he had was honour as a royal family member and she wanted to protect him so tried taking all the blame, ONLY FOR SUDDENLY DURING THE COUNCIL MEETING BETWEEN THE CABINET MEMBERS, YIAN AND HUIJU, A MESSENGER FOR YIYUN CAME AND TOLD HIM YIYUN WANTED TO ABDICATE AND WANTS YIAN TO TAKE THE THRONE AND YIAN CONFRONTED HUIJU AFTERWARDS SAYING IF YOU TRULY WANTED TO “CUT YOUR LOSSES” THEN WHY ARE YOU READY DROP EVERYTHING AND TAKE THE BLAME AND HE WAS JUST DISSAPOINTED THAT HUIJU DIDNT TRUST HIM TO MAKE THE SITUATION BETTER, BUT EVENTUALLY HUIJU ADMITTED SHE LIKED HIM, AND SINCE YIAN WAS HIDING OUT AT HIS PRIVATE RESIDENCE AFTER BEING OFFERED THE THRONE, HUIJU RUSHED OVER AND TOLD YIAN THAT SHE LIKED HIM AND THEY HAD SUCH A GRETA KISS SCENENENEE. AND DURING ALL THIS, MS DO AND HYEON WERE HAVING DRINKS IN FRONT OF THE HAN RIVER AND MS DO MENTIONED THAT HAVING DRINKS IN FRONT OF THE HAN RIVER WAS SOMETHING SHE LIKED SINCE HYEON ONCE ASKED HER WHAT SHE LIKED SINCE HE THOUGHT HE WAS SLY AND THAT SHE WOULDN’T NOTICE THAT HE WANTS TO GET TO KNOW HER MORE, AND SO SHE ASKS HYEON IF HE LIKES “IT” AS WELL AND HE SAYS YES BUT DUE TO PURPOSE AMBIGUITY, MS DO ASKS HYEON IF HE LIKES THE RIVER, THE DRINKS OR MS DO HERSELF, AND HE ADMITS THAT HE LIKES EVERYTHING ANG IT WAS SO CUTETETTETE. OH AND yian had to follow the customs, he has to say no 3 three times to yiyun’s abdication until he can accept it, SINCE EVEN YIYUN KNEW HIS FATHER’S DEATH WISH WAS FOR HIS UNCLE YIAN TO BECOME KING, BUT DUE TO HER MOTHER’S GREED SINCE YIRANG FELT AS THOUGH SHE MADE SO MANY SACRIFICES TO MARRY YIYUN’S FATHER AND BECOME QUEEN MOTHER, OMG SHE EVEN HAD TO LEAVE HER PASSION OF BECOMING A PIANIST AND SHE EVEN HAD A CRUSH ON YIAN DURING HIGH SCHOOL THAT SHE COULDN’T PURUSE DUE TO HER DAD, SEONGWON FORCING HER TO MARRY. Now yirang feels guilty and has stopped going against yian, and her father had heard of this and said he’ll go through with it AND NOW HE’S PLOTTING SOMETHING ALONG WITH JEONGWOO. SO NOW YIAN WAS GOING TO THE PALACE HALLS TO RECIEVE THE LAST OFFER TO THE THRONE THAT HE WOULD REJECT UNTIL AFTERWARDS HE WOULD ACCEPT THE NEXT ONE, ONLY TO GET A MESSAGE FROM JEONGU TO GO TO COUNCIL HALL BUT THEN THERE’S A FIRE AND YIAN WAS STUCK IN THERE. MY THEORY IS SUNGWON TEAMED UP WITH JEONGWOO WHICH IS WHY YIAN WAS SO EASILY TRICKED INTO GOING THERE.

They did it again! I can't believe that I was still on the edge of my seat. This was a perfect episode. I never want to see I-An cry again, it broke my heart. I loved when the King's Mother and the King hugged, they both needed it. Both of them have been through so much because of the incompetent previous King. I also loved Hui-Ju's brother, he is such a good brother to Hui-Ju. I-An's brother on the other hand is a loser, he should have stood up for himself while he was still the crown prince. Although we don't know I-An's mother, she wouldn't oppose I-An becoming crown prince strongly since both are her sons( so she would become Queen Dowager both ways). This would mean that there would be enough people to sway the King's decision.

PAIN IN MY ASS!!!

My lovely fellows asked for one thing. And it was refused. The Prime Minister took a step he had hesitated over for a fkng decade, and now it is deadly. When he met with Loed INPYEONG, I was like, "Plz don't chukle, plz don't". Oh hell nah! The main villain was Lord INPYEONG, which is known from the start, but PM. It's not confirmed yet. But still, I'll burst with emotions if they did him dirty. The tragic life of our baby king needs to be spoken about. Knowing about the truth and hiding it for his mom's request, while he well enough knew that she was lying..... OH GOD.
The Queen Mother did have it tough. But she should have spoken. She played dumb, and her own father used her. She even made the poor baby's life hard. I'm happy that she realised. Also, I'm curious who that hidden girl is.
A lot happened in this episode, and I don't know what to talk about. The ending scene was expected, keeping in mind who the actors are..... (just don't die, I beg you T0T)
