realistisc and perfect ending!! Can‘t wait for season 2
I don’t understand the harsch critic. We got soooo much out of this Special Episode.1. We saw them more and more in love. They were sooo Sweet and in love. I also loved how their relationship deleveloped in the season, but Everything here was a plus and you saw the grow of love and the pain was perfectly acted when Joke died.
2. i rather have an Open ending then a closed one, because for me the Story was soooo good that i couldn‘r accept the ending is Season 1.
3. i love group and every time they Are in Action and Saving each other. Such a good squad and actually true friends After all the betrayal.
4. i don‘t believe Jack finds someone new. He will be in pain all the time. I think it‘s realistic that Joke looses his memory and became a thief and That’s the way the group finds our he is alive. Someone make use of his amnesia.
5. aren‘t you curious what’s going to Happen between Arun and Tattoo? I love that they didn’t made Thema couple but already teased in the Special episode that something is going on between them. So their love Story can develope more in Season 2. Same goes for Save and Hope.
To Conclude, I‘m thankful they still gave us this Special episode. We got to See Jack and Joke truely and love and the Potenial of other couples. Also we saw the squat (4 pigs or what ever there Name was 😂) in Action again which i love Most about the Story. When they constantly Save each other. And we saw a potenial Next season which I can‘t wait to See.
Thank you War and Yin for this series. I honestly loved you in love of Mechanics and was waiting for a another Series with you two starring in it. But i couldn‘t Imagine this masterpiece😍. Please Continue and also please work with the Same Person (actor, Director, Producer, cut, costum). The series was honestly in every aspect perfect.

i dont like the end
the story is very good i love it. but the only thing i hate is the end. i must cry so hard it was so sad. i wish a happy end for them. I think that an happy end where better than this end. so the hole time i though joke comes back but he doesn't. the hole episode was so exciting and sometimes funny.i miss the love scene from both of them a little. the end where you can see the wedding is nice but sad too. why it must be this end. the hole series i was excited by every episode but i never though it will happen so bad things.
the acting from the characters are very good it is top. they know what they do. I wish more from them both

Beautiful, Brutal, Unforgettable
Jack & Joker is one of those rare cases where a lakorn transcends its genre and becomes something closer to cinema. Not because the actors are attractive or because the chemistry is “good,” but because the entire project feels ambitious and complete: the directing, visual language, storytelling, and atmosphere form a unified work that does not need to be compared to other BL titles — it stands on its own, at a higher level. From the very beginning, the lakorn pulls you into a world balanced on a razor’s edge — between humor and danger, tenderness and fear, love and self-destruction. In this world, nobody is truly safe, and every choice the characters make feels like a challenge to fate itself. This is not romance as decoration. This is love as a trial — painful, heavy, and yet intensely alive.
Yin and War do not simply play roles — they create characters that feel real. Their connection never comes across as staged fanservice; it feels like something born in spite of circumstances, something that exists even when it shouldn’t. This is not the usual “cute pairing” formula. It is a relationship where softness lives next to suffering, where trust is earned through fear, sacrifice, and loss. That is why viewers become so deeply attached: because their love does not feel like fantasy — it feels like truth.
One of the greatest strengths of Jack & Joker is its ability to build tension without becoming shallow. It is stylish, but never empty. Beautiful, but never superficial. Dramatic, but never exaggerated. There is a maturity in the way it tells its story — a quiet confidence that it can handle darkness, that it can portray consequences, and that it does not need to soften reality to be loved. This is a BL lakorn that does not ask the audience to simply enjoy a couple; it forces you to experience their story almost as if it were your own.
And then comes the true emotional breaking point: the Special Episode. It is crafted with such intensity that it feels as if the creators intentionally tested how far emotional storytelling can go. This is not simply a “sad ending.” It is the kind of ending that leaves emptiness behind. Even after a year, fans still talk about it as if they watched it yesterday. Many describe it as genuine emotional trauma — because the lakorn makes you love the characters too deeply before taking away the illusion of safety.
And yet, even in that cruelty, there is hope. The post-credit scene clearly shows that Joker is alive. That is why the story feels unfinished — not in a negative way, but in the sense of artistic expectation. It is not a final period. It is a comma. A deliberate pause. A chance that the creators left behind, and that chance is exactly what keeps millions of viewers waiting.
A year has passed, but a year is not long in this industry. Some sequels arrive after far longer breaks, and those returns often become legendary. Jack & Joker has already reached that status: people continue to rewatch it, analyze it, quote it, create edits, and debate theories. It still lives across social media and refuses to fade away. More importantly, it lives in people’s hearts.
Yes, Yin and War have a new project coming, and fans will support it wholeheartedly. But Jack & Joker is not just another title in their filmography. It is their flagship story — the kind of project that turns actors into something personal, something unforgettable.
If a second season or a sequel film ever happens, it will not be “just another continuation.” It will be an event. A global explosion of hype. Because some stories cannot be left without light at the end of the tunnel. And Jack & Joker deserves not only pain, but happiness. That is why fans are still waiting — not for content, but for closure, for justice, and for a love story that has already survived hell.

If they don't give us a second season I will cry again!
Okay I was prepared somethingt might happen, but I played hide and seek in the social media so I wouldn't get spoiled to much before watching this episode. And daxx I wasn't prepared for what happened. I was even less prepared to see a cliffhanger at the end of this episode with a completely terrified Joke!! How dare they!
I don't know what I should think of the wedding scene, even thought I can understand Jack. He wouldn't believe his loss after all.
I really hope this episode will lead us to a second season. Otherwise, I don't understand the end of the special episode. It all leads to a second season! Well let's hope and see what the future will hold for us!

Out of the Box
I really liked this special episode. I tried my best to avoid spoilers pre release on iQIYI and watching it I liked that it wasn’t like your typical special episode. It was an episode just about the length of a standard movie and the quality of production and the story was up to par with previous episodes. One critique of this though I’d say is that if we were going to wait so long for this we should’ve gotten a special YinWar song for this episode. I am unsure of their budget though so I won’t speak much on that because this is out of their pockets.
I liked that unlike normal special episodes this wasn’t fluff and full of happy moments. We still got great acting and action out of the cast. I was also happy to see a little more romance with MarkProm even though I was expecting more. I am still confused on Bonz and Took though.
I was left on the edge of my seat with Joke getting shot and seeing Yin as Jack act out the stages of grief really showed off his acting. I am also very excited that Joke isn’t dead and that we will get hopefully another season. Even if it takes a while I am willing to wait so we can get the ending we deserve. I applaud YinWar for going against the grain with Thai BL and for not being afraid to not give us a happy ending. Though that is what I want I feel like at least for now there is a bigger picture and they are choosing art over what makes people happy and I’m here for the ride.

I’m convinced people didn’t actually watch
I’m convinced people are just review bombing or they didn’t actually watch the show. To say the characters were one dimensional proves that. The amount of depth they had was actually impressive. This series was about family, friends, and the real lives some people face in Thailand. There was a comedy aspect but the show was mostly a drama. I’m not one of the people that found the cardboard cut out funny. I found it quite sad, and see what they were trying to portray.Throughout the wedding Jack believes or truely wants to believe Joke is alive. He even yells out “why do people keep thinking you’re dead”. I think he believes until that moment that Joke will return in time for the wedding and when he doesn’t, the stand in was the idea of his friends. I mean he punched them when they told him otherwise! Until Jack is sitting at that table after the wedding and he breaks down and realizes Joke is not coming.
Have the people that found his grief funny never been through it? Jack classically went through the stages of grief and the wedding was him working through that. Grief can do some wild things to your mind. His friends and family adore Jack and they are going to stand by his side and do what they have to do. Like making a fake Joke or Grandma talking to Joke at the dinner table. That’s what this entire series was about! They also mention that Jacks family comes from Chinese descent so it could have also been a ghost wedding which makes sense for the stand in as well.
As a YinWar fan, yeah we kind of expect the sad storylines because this is what Yin and War are sooo good portraying. The acting in the show was so well done, the characters are fun and they left an open ending for the chance at a season 2. Remember they funded this entire show themselves, so if it did well there would be chance at coming back.
I think some people went into this show expecting something that it wasn’t. It was never going to be a cushy romance story. It was something completely new, well thought out, mature, and exciting for YinWar and their fandom.
Overall, is the special heartbreaking? Absolutely and I recommend stopping after they meet back up in the room (you’ll know) if you don’t want the heartache. However, even all the way through the end credits, I think this was really good, taking place a year after the events of the show. It’s fun, funny, has a twist but in classic YinWar style they will get you to cry. I personally really enjoyed it!

Jack & Joker: U Steal My Heart! — Special Episode
This is not an “extra.” It is a farewell. If the main series leaves you broken and suspended in silence, the special episode does something just as brave: it does not undo the ending, but it allows you to breathe inside it. This episode is not about changing fate. It is about honoring what already happened.A Quiet Closure
There is no miracle reunion. No false hope. Instead, the special episode gives us space to sit with grief, to feel what was left behind, and to understand that love does not vanish when people do.
- It becomes memory.
- It becomes presence.
- It becomes something we carry.
Why It Matters
For those who were angry or heartbroken by the original ending, this episode is not a correction. It is a companion piece. It respects the story’s choice while softening the emotional fall. It reminds us that even when fate is cruel, meaning remains.
Final Thought
The special episode doesn’t heal the wound. It gives it a voice. And sometimes, that is the only closure we get.

Yin And War did it....
I appreciate and give kudos to Yin and War for being able to get a BL series like this one produced and released. They had a specific idea in mind for the world that Jack, Joke and the other characters lived in Bangkok for this series. A world that isn't always kind, open, and supportive of their citizens, especially the ones that are very poor. Was this review helpful to you?
