Stalker Cloud
I like that the title sequence had scenes that were specifically for the title that artistically interpreted the theme of the story along with some scenes from the show sprinkled in.Phu may be forgetful, superstitious, and unafraid of speaking to himself out loud in public like a maniac, but he's still capable of being self sufficient and thoughtful. He's also got steely spine when it's needed which makes him standout from the stock cutesy guy into someone more three dimensional. Phu standing up for his dumb friend Achi who was tricked by Cir's arranged fiancé to get Phu there to verbally and physically attack him was great, showing he's no doormat. I like that once he entertains that it may be true that Cir is from a parallel world, he immediate differentiates that he himself is different from the Phu that Cir is dating and thinking about how parallel Cir is probably sad that his boyfriend is gone. He does eventually come to the conclusion upon Cir's second brush with the car of doom trope that he would like to be selfish and keep this Cir with him. At least he thoroughly thought about it first. This series has the worst moms. At first it seemed maybe it's fair that Phu's mom is living her own life in Australia now that he's in university, but she left her own child while he was still in junior high. That's wildly selfish to not take him with her no matter if he doesn't want to leave where his dad lived. She should have finished raising him and he could still go back to Thailand for university as an adult. Grief never goes away, but she's chooses to deal with it in a way that also keeps her kid in even more pain with him losing both parents when he needed at least one to take care of him and help him process it. It's amazing he's not more of a mess, which could be credit to his unseen auntie who had to take him in. Perhaps they never showed her to keep the negative maternal figure theme.
It's immediately weird that as in love as Cir acts that he is with Phu, he doesn't make that distinction that the Phu that he knows and love is back in the other world with out him, but rather with a different Cir as well. It's an interesting twist that Phu isn't from another world, but has been creepy stalking Phu for 5 years which is how he knows so much and the brain trauma from his first brush with the car of doom in addition to getting dream access to seeing into the parallel world where he's successfully dating the object of his obsession pushes him to desperately skip straight to dating Phu. Cir isn't that smart, he could have just used his information that Phu is probably open to being with him as push for a start fresh with Phu instead of just going full I'm from parallel world schtick to both Wim who has known him since kindergarten and this Phu who doesn't know who he is aside from being schoolmates. Cir is 1000% getting past getting committed to the psych ward with his pretty and rich boy privilege and being an unhinged stalker liar once Phu has already fallen hopelessly in love with him. The writing also should have kept it ambiguous if Cir is lying or not if they Cir was going to keep lying to Phu for a long time because once it's confirmed to the audience, it just drags the story pacing down.
Wim is so funny, at first it seems like he may be in love with Cir and a really serious guy, being so concerned about him, but it's really just everyone puts way too much responsibility on him regarding Cir's behavior like he's Cir's keeper and it's so funny when he learns Phu gets along with Cir despite his weird behavior and giddly says no take backs. Poor Wim has been traumatized by being forced to witness Cir being abused by Cir's truly abhorrent mother too. Cir really needs to treat Wim, who is the best friend to him, better and not just sell him out by giving Wim's number to Jin just like that just so Phu won't go with Jin to the movies anymore. Wim and Jin's cloud interaction was cute, playing what animal shape the clouds are with Jin who happen to know things because he can read minds. But everything else after that was just pure red flags, forcing Wim to go on a date and kissing Wim without consent and it's just played off as cute. At least Jin stops being able to hear Wim when he realizes how much he really likes Wim. He supposes it's both because Wim always speaks his mind and because the strength of how much he likes Wim that he can stop invasively hearing the one he likes.
It's really cool that a different Cir travels to one where a relationship with Phu is already set in to get a taste of it before returning and meeting their own versions. I wonder if the black clothed Cir in the white room wished that they had a happy ending becomes in some worlds they do not? It also seemed at first it's only the mind that is changed, but Cir's physical scar leaves and goes depending on the consciousness, but the hairstyle stays the same. That doesn't really make any sense, the show should have came up with something extremely specific habit wise for Phu to be able to differentiate between Cir and ponytail Cir. I feel bad for Cir getting hit twice with a car for these switches to happen. Phu telling ponytail Cir to convey his message of love and goodbye was such good angst. The switchback was the perfect time for Cir to finally tell Phu the truth about him actually being the Phu from this world, but it's so annoying that he doesn't because it makes Phu feel guilty for taking the boyfriend of another him and he knows the pain of losing Cir. Phu snooping around in Cir's room and finding out Cir's stalking truth is fair with Cir's lie to get close to Phu. This was dragged out so long that there's no angst in it, it's only right that Phu is angry. It was annoying again that in Cir's clarification video, he doesn't add on that he saw the parallel world in his dreams to at least explain why he was saying that he was from there to begin with. They only finally make things clear post coital at the very end. As it was for the two lead actor's previous project, the NC scenes for the characters are character driven. I've seen remarks about Phu being different between his regular character and when he's in a sexual situation, but he's shown that he was always increasingly bold with every interaction.

Nice song, nice actors, mediocre story with wasted potential.
I don't usually write reviews so excuse me for my unexperienced bluntness. I honestly started this show because of the introduction song. It's a nice melody and I'm a sucker for angst, which is reflected well in the lyrics. I can't say the show really lived up to the expectations in those lyrics, but the subject addressed in both the show and the song is an interesting concept. It's just a shame that the adaptation of it did not live up to (my personal) expectations. To sum up my thoughts in nice categories:
The story itself isn't much special. It has potential but doesn't completely live up to it. There's angst, but it's not really thought out properly and even resolved in a normal matter. Honestly, the ending where our protagonist first blames Cir and then can't live without him after a video filled with a crying session left me confused, and then once they decided to just -- simply -- switch sons for the 'property' Cir's mother demands, it's actually quite stupid. Knowing the novel author, I can't say I'm completely surprised. But oh well. I've watched worse stories just for the unlived potential.
Can't say much about the acting or cast. I'm not an active fan of them, and just watch most of these actors casually when a good show comes along. The acting is fine, and that's all I need really. I can give them compliments about their chemistry and NC scenes, of course. That's what they're also quite known for.
I love the opening song, so the music gets an unfairly high score from me. For the rest not much stood out, and they mostly use the typical background songs for the rest of the show that you can find in other Thai shows. It's solid.
So all by all, I am glad I watched this show, but I wouldn't praise it to be something better than it is. A good show to pass the time when you're bored, with some high points but mostly just an average viewing experience. It wasn't boring nor too long. Probably just right for what was meant to be told.

WHY are you kissing or being intimate with your sick partner? Is that supposed to be romantic?WHY are you stalking someone you like instead of confessing and asking them out. Is that supposed to be romantic?
WHY does Mame only write toxic and pitiable relationships? Is that supposed to be romantic?
I'll confess, the first 3 episodes were really fun trying to understand this parallel universe concept, but things started going downhill soonafter. The writing is cringe, even in the first 3 episodes. Noeul's character, Phu was portrayed as extremely naive and childish, like which uni kid throws a tantrum over underwear colors? Thankfully his interactions with Boss made it more tolerable since it bought some seriousness to the "plot". Speaking of the plot, I understand this is fiction and toxic characters exist irl and easier to accept when not grounded in reality, but are we supposed to empathize with Cir, really? He cares only abt Phu and nobody else, not his brother, not his friends, no one. Phu is too naive, forget calling the police on this stalker, you apologized to him and tell him what he did was acceptable because its for LOVE?? Too creepy, stalkery, cant even relate to these characters who are completely one dimensional. There was chemistry between the main leads thankfully, but here's hoping Noeul could improve on his acting a tad bit more and choose better roles for his next project, something that is more mature and outside of school/uni setting and not written by Mame (I think she needs psych help). Didnt care for side characters other that Ozone and Jin, even their acting can do better.

Every Teen Girls Dream, Every Grown Woman's Nightmare
What to say. I'm not the demographic for this, so I have to temper my review with that understanding. Still, a drama in which a man stalks, lies to and, as one person says (approvingly), is romantically obsessed with the main character (Phu), gave me pause. I mean, there's an adult version of this type of drama -- it's called "You" on Netflix. That said, the most concerning aspect of the drama is the belief that the healing power of love is enough to overcome severe trauma. I have a better suggestion -- therapy. There is no question that Cir gravitated to Phu because Phu supported him at a time in his life when he had been abandoned by his father and left with a mother who, my opinion, had both a paranoid borderline personality disorder and sociopathy. The father's choice, coupled with the mother's frequent beatings and issues of control resulted in, again in my opinion, an individual with attachment issues and a severe form of PTSD. It's no wonder that everyone stated that they preferred Cir after his association with Phu rather than before. That put a lot a pressure on poor Phu who himself had abandonment issues.
Honestly, I would have liked to have seen the father grow a pair, get the mother arrested for child abuse and take custody of both kids, Of course, I don't know Thai laws. With that in mind, what kind of traffic laws in Thailand allow an individual to hit someone in a crosswalk, and put them in the hospital without any legal repercussions? Really? Again, I'm not familiar with Thai laws, but clearly if I go there, I'm looking both ways before crossing. No scratch that, I'm prepared to wait all night for an empty street before crossing.
Okay, that was critical me. My inner teen and politically traumatized adult squeed throughout the entire viewing. The romance, the over the top drama with a touch of the supernatural resonated with my gothic-novel reading and science-fiction loving inner child. Hey, this was imaginative, well acted and thankfully allowed me a respite from current political realities. I'm here for that.

I WAS IN LOVE… UNTIL EP10 SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE!!!
So basically this review is just about my feelings… but damn, I’m pissed.THE STORY from episode 1 to 8? Absolute sugar rush! I fell for them hard. I was literally in love right alongside Cir & Phu. For three whole days I was giggling like an idiot, grinning like a fool. They were adorable. Cir doing everything for him, always there, always helping. And don’t even get me started on how perfectly Phukan fits in Cir’s arms whenever they hug — it was everything. They even made my Mondays bearable, had me smiling like some love-struck teenager.
I even checked the review stars once, saw they were just “average,” and thought, what the hell is wrong with people? Because to me, it was pure magic. And then… then came episode 10.
And it all went to hell. Shitty writing. Total betrayal. They threw every single beautiful moment straight under the bus and set it on fire. Suddenly the entire family is completely deranged — the mother, the father, Cir, Ozone, all of them. INSANE. Baaa~ indeed.
Why must it always be like this?! Boss & Noeul are phenomenal — they carried everything on their backs and gave us perfection — and THIS is how you reward them? With an ending that sucks the life out of everything? Just WHY?!
And now, I am falling for JIN - the mind reader that he is. Lawh mak! Suay mak!

Alrighty, then
As much as I like Boss and Noeul I must say this series is not what it was hyped up to be. Let me explain...I usually do not give bad reviews because I can always find a redeeming value in the work...be it the actors, script, or both. But, I have to say the script was not the best. It was confusing at best and the continuity was sloppily done. Now was it the director, the writer, or both...I think it was probably both at fault. It all starts with the writing and if that isn't up to par then there is no hope for the director creating a worthwhile project. Now, no slam on Boss and Noeul, who, in my opinion, are excellent actors and did their best with what they were given. But again, the overly-done hype of this series probably didn't help, as we expected too much. Yes, we expected too much from a Mame script.
Now for the NC scenes...which is what most of the hype was about, did not live up to all the noise about it. I could list those scenes but suffice it to say, they were not 1/10th of what we saw in LITA. I mean Phu and Cir barely kissed in a few episodes (granted they had sex in more ways than one), and if my recollection is solid they had some form of sex 3 times in the early-ish episodes, but then nothing. Who knows maybe episode 10 will go all out for NC scenes, but I will not hold my breath.
Lest you think I was only there for the NC scenes (who wasn't, because you have to admit that Boss and Noeul are HOT together on or offscreen), I wanted this story to be good....but in the end, I was confused and thought it wasn't much to write home about. And I find the fault lies with the story itself and that lies firmly in Mame's lap

BOSS & NOEUL NEED TO LEAVE MAME FAST, LIKE ASAP
BOSS & NOEUL NEED TO LEAVE MAME FAST, LIKE ASAPIf you're a BOSS and NOEUL fan or you at least care about or like them, you won't want them to get another MAME'S script, you would want them out of MAME'S reach immediately. By now you should know that people hate MAME and her actors will always suffer for it , they will always be more brutal towards her & works , they don't give any form of GRACE OR EMPATHY to her works or people under her.
One of the major reason LOVE IN THE AIR made an exception and attracted people was because of BOSS looks and similarity to VEGAS(BIBLE) as that time, the KP ERA was still fresh, people might deny this in the comment but it's the truth,a lot of people called the PHAYU CHARACTER VERNICE at that time.
NOW FOR THE BOY NEXT WORLD
This story started so well , the cinematography & production quality,
the colour grading was stunning. But MAME MESSED it up especially the ending. THE ENDING WAS NOT GOOD 🤦♀️
FOR THE ACTING, BOSS and NOEUL did very well in my opinion, they're very talented and did grow. Some people say NOEUL can't act but I strongly disagree, he fully immerses himself in the role, showcasing a level of vulnerability and emotional intensity. that sets him apart. Whether it’s moments of quiet longing, heartbreak, or intense passion, he makes you feel every emotion through his eyes alone. He has the ability to balance softness with raw emotion. If I'm to be FRANK, NOEUL'S emotional scenes were the parts I enjoyed the most. He's growth majorly influenced my rating
I was already worried when I saw it was just 10 episodes because it was clearly not going to be enough. If you doing a short series, why add a SECOND COUPLE, in my opinion, it's stupidity, because now the story has less time to DEVELOP. Not every series need a side couple and this particular one was boringgg🤦♀️
BOSS & NOEUL need to leave MAME , including FORT PEAT as well
I doubt if they can't reach their full potentials under her
Hope to see BOSS & NOEUL on screen soon that is not a Mame's script

So we're glorifying stalkers now??!!
Big fan of Love in the air here. I was eagerly waiting for this one, especially since I didn't like Love sea.I thought, "I like these two better than Fort/Peat so even if the story sucks, I'll enjoy it" I couldn't have been more wrong!!
I don't even know where to begin.I wasn't really into it, my mind kept drifting off and I couldn't quite follow.
Cirrus gets into an accident and when he wakes up, claims he came from a parallel universes where He and Phu are in a relationship. He finds Phu and tells him all about it, everything in this universe is pretty much the same except Cirrus and Phu are basically strangers. Cirrus Knows so much about phu his habits, his likes dislikes his apartment door password! What else can Phu do but to believe him right? there sure couldn't be any other reason why Cirrus would kno so much about him.
I thought it was so weird that in parallel universes only one thing changed this minor detail just kept eating at me and then the twist!! it's not parallel universes silly!! it's just a deranged lunatic stalker taking advantage of a helplessly naieve little boy.
Dude tricked him into believing the most ridiculous story, He has been stalking him for years!! and we're supposed to root for him why? Cause he's hot? cause his mother abuses him?? what?!!
No! absolutely not I refuse to keep watching this nonsense just no!! Lady needs to stop with these creepy stories.
I had dropped Love sea because it was more of the same, just roles reversed, but I'm thinking that one might be more bearable now.
This is a complete waste of talent, I hope that Boss/Noeul are given a better script next time and for the Love of god Stop making Noeul act like child.

And the best goes to...
I just approached Episode 6 and as I just watched Special Clip 5, it made me realize something... BossNoeul are like guiding stars. Personally, I love their every scene, giving their all (since LITA even as newcomers) like I'm drawn to them, their character, And when I said "guiding stars". theIr brightness, doesn't only shine for them both. It's like they light up the way for their support couple as well. First in LITA (FortPeat) and now here in TBNW (ForthDonut). Although Forth and Donut has nor much giddy/intimate moments yet, in the special clip 5, I feel like they are shining alongside BossNoeul already.(I'm stopping here for now and will get back and edit once I'm done with the series. And yes I'm only watching now because I can't stand the anticipation of an ongoing. :))

It’s fun and mysterious
Like so many BL fans I was waiting on the return of BossNoeul in their own series, something I think took way too long. To fill the time I read MAME’s book once I knew what their next project would be and honestly I could picture them in the roles right away. So far the show just two episodes I has not disappointed. Multiverse is always difficult and having book knowledge I was a little nervous about how this would go and whether fans would be lost. That’s not the case, there are significant changes from the book already that I appreciate and it makes me excited to see where everything is going. My only critique so far is the episodes aren’t long enough, we need at least an hour for such a complicated story and 10 episodes. Boss, Noeul, Forth and Donut are really bringing their characters to life and the friendship groups are so PERFECT. The actors chosen for Tee, Nalin, Achi and Rome and so hilarious and really ground the main character performances. I can’t wait to meet a few other key characters and for the angst to begin. If you have watched yet give it an open minded try!!Was this review helpful to you?

It's good but kinda incomplete. The comments are just pure hate
Unlike the comments the story was actually about parallel worlds. I literally thought the whole parallel world was just Cir's imagination thanks to the comments. Cir is definitely a green flag his only flaw is that he's a coward. He was not manipulative or anything he just told 1 lie to get close to Phu and could never confess the truth dispite multiple chances. Also i don't think Cir didn't pay for his mistake. He did when Phu left him twice for the same reason. For Cir who has loved phu for 5 years that's his greatest punishment. The only person who was not punished would be Cir's mom. I felt that and a happy ending for his brother was needed to make the drama complete.
I really loved the 2nd couple a lot but the random introduction of mind reading capability was a little abrupt and unclear like they hinted Cir had the capability which then was not bought up as the story progressed.
Also i have a couple of questions that were left unanwered in the drama.
1st why is the Cir from 1 time line responsible to guide Cir from the 2nd timeline. Did they get a sad ending in one of the timelines so theyre doing this?
What does he mean when he says Phu always survives? But in one of the world one of them actually dies (in the flashback)
Why and where did this loop even start? Why is it Cir and not Phu?
How did jin get his mind reading ability?
Also why is black cir in the time room? Cir does occasionally go into Black Cir's world which he mentioned but then why is black cir never shown in his own world instead only in ghe white room?
I think the drama needed more context behind scenes. But the story was pretty interesting it can confuse u if u dont spoil yourself that cir lied about being from the parallel world. I spoiled myself so i thoroughly enjoyed it. It kept me engaged and was interesting to watch although u get clarity on the plot in ep 7 and 8.

This is cinema
While I initially want to watch this show because of Bossnoeul chemistry but the story line the twist and the direction everything caught me off guard. Some people claim to be it's confusing because it's literally fantasy story with plot twist not a normal BL love story where there is propose date and broke and patch up. Like literally the parallel world is real. The way cirrus singing the song for Phu while crying no one can beat that kind of love confession. The ost and the music they use for every NC and other turns out so perfect. The episode where they reveal the parallel Worlds are real that one episode is cinematic. They stalking thing they said he didn't show himself in front of Phu before. Watching him and protecting him secretly because he afraid of his mom evil stunts his Phu might be hurt. The acting are on point I even feel cir pain even now. The perfect mixing of acting music love and NC's everything is good. One of the best BL of 2025Was this review helpful to you?
