Refreshing personalities!!
It is so nice to see a male lead that’s not completely full of himself, who’s not thinking bout putting on an act 24/7. I love the main couple’s dynamic. Friendly despite being on bad terms. This is exactly what I want when I look for friends to lovers, or enemies to lovers shows. Let there be beef but beef with friendliness and charm. And the female lead is so understandable. Like, I get her. It’s a show about two people who reached for the same dreams but only one of them achieved it. I’m giving it a low rewatch rating solely because I don’t like to rewatch a lot of showsWas this review helpful to you?
Why am I allowed to post a review when only 2 of 12 episodes has aired?
Sure, I like the show so far, but what the heck? I shouldn't even be allowed to post a review until the show has finished its run. How can a "review" after only 2 episodes actually be "helpful" in any kind of meaningful way? What could the purpose of posting a review after only 2 episodes be other than to see my username in "print"? Is it really that hard to figure out a way to stop me from doing this? Here's a suggestion: On the drama's main landing page, in the Review section, replace the "Write a Review" link with your little "airing" icon, and a brief text that says how much MDL looks forward to user reviews once the show has completely aired. Dream to you and ALMOST to me....
Watched this show having great hopes and i gotta say the chemistry was there, vibrant and palpable and the acting is great, no question BUT....it fell flat.The high school days story was very cute at first but I was still a bit confused when it came to the modern days plot and behaviours showed...still waited to see what they were planning to do with the writing as i had mixed feelings and unfortunately, they kinda remained, regardless of the plot threading forward. Some stuffs were explained and yet I felt like the writing was somewhat a bit wobbly, i cannot really pintpoint what exactly was so wrong about it and maybe I had high expectations myself but I just simply cannot think about what a waste of chemistry that was. It felt rushed, messy and there were too many dramatic side plots and events that truly were not needed or i did not feel were justifiying enough the situations we were in. Besides, not enough deepness to certain characters.
Now the good, the acting was great, from everyone and the chemistry was there, for ALL the couples and maybe that is what saved the show and made it enjoyable to me. I found the whole "dream" study interesting and even if it wasn't explored the way i would have liked, i think it is one of the biggest point of the show and really added texture, especially to the main lead couple. Again, I was very surprised by the visual and overall chemistry of Lee Heyri and Hwang Inyoup, so much so I hope they'll meet again in a more well written work because I feel like they can provide more!
It's an easy watch, sometimes a bit confusing and cringy but it is not bad at all, just average and I still spent a nice time starting these very 2026 hot summer weeks with it.

tw: physical and psychological abuse, parental neglect
the actors were great. they were able to convery their emotions to the scenes required.i think my main issue why i couldn’t fully love the drama is because of the storyline and its progression.
i felt like the real mother and father of the directer didn’t get the karmic ending they deserve.
the real mom just slapped some money into a certain issue and called it a day. even in the presscon scene she didn’t protect her child. like wtf.
until the end, there was no resolution to fix her relationship with him.
the father was a lost cause and honestly he deserves to be in jail. the scenes about him were so bad that just watching it makes me traumatized. to say those scenes are dark is putting it lightly. honestly, a trigger warning should be placed regarding those scenes.
the relationship between the leads were sweet, the last two episode seemed to dragged, and they could’ve written it more maturely, but they chose the very dramatic route, so yeah, not impressed with that too.
the two other supporting couples were okay to watch. but really not gripping to the story.
but still, too much of the important parts seemed glossed on… it’s like a sublte jab to reality that not all evil people get the bad ending in life they deserve.

Best Story About 1st Love
**Dream to You – Episode 1 Review**Episode 1 completely captured my heart.
There is something so special about first love. It's innocent, unforgettable, and leaves a mark on your heart forever. This episode reminded me exactly why first-love stories are so powerful. Every glance, every smile, and every quiet moment felt genuine. I could feel the emotions deep in my bones, my heart, and my soul.
The chemistry between the leads already feels beautiful and effortless. Their expressions alone conveyed so much without needing many words. The cinematography, music, and nostalgic atmosphere made every scene even more emotional.
This wasn't just a romance—it felt like a story about memories, longing, and the kind of love that stays with you no matter how much time passes. After only one episode, I'm already emotionally attached to these characters and can't wait to see where their journey takes them.
If the rest of the drama continues like this, I think it's going to be something truly memorable.

I fear this just wasn’t for me
It started off pretty promising, but after a while I really didn’t feel like watching it anymore. I don’t know, I think I just have a problem with this type of storyline because it’s really not for me. I basically stayed for the second couple, and I was rooting for the third couple a little too. Meanwhile, the first couple annoyed me SO much. Some episodes were honestly pretty boring at times.Was this review helpful to you?
Dream to nowhere.
One line review: It just didn't make any sense.There's too much happening. I don't know what to focus on and ultimately the plot gets no where.
I watched the drama for the leads but ended up disappointed. Yes, it was indeed sweet but I think writing was bad. It keeps shifting ideas.
But again, I got to see Han seo Jun ( Hwang In Yeop )have his happy ending. That's the only good outcome from this drama.

The writing was really bad.
It started out pretty well, but then it slowly lost its direction. The story felt boring at times, and a lot of things could have been handled much better.The part I hated the most was how quickly the FL forgave the ML. After everything she went through because of him, I really wished her forgiveness had been slower and more emotionally justified.
Her backstory was literally dumped into one episode, while the ML’s backstory was explored across so many episodes. Because of that, we never really got to feel the FL’s pain to the same extent. The audience was given much more time to understand and sympathize with the ML than with her.
I also wished the FL had remained more independent. She was actually quite independent in the beginning, but after she got the movie, she started feeling more like the ML’s shadow. Everything began revolving around him, and her own character development and ambitions took a backseat.
The second couple was honestly the best part of the show. Their chemistry and storyline had so much potential, but the writers never explored them properly. They could have had a really interesting and meaningful storyline if they had been given more screen time.
And honestly, why did the third couple even exist? Their story had very little to do with the actual plot. They didn’t even have a proper storyline, and their screen time was too limited to develop their relationship properly anyway. I would have much rather seen the writers use that time to develop the second couple.
Overall, the story had so much potential, but the writing was extremely sloppy. There were some really good ideas and interesting characters, but the execution just wasn't there.

THE WORST DRAMA OF 2026 Same old toxic, stupid, childish story's
Same toxic parents, behaviors. Nothing special. Old boring toxic korean stuff... FL character is unbearable to watchI wonder if one day they will come with new stories, new perspective and inspirationla dramas... the writers, the actors in general they are not boring with the same toxic stories.
I really cant stand the asian parents... In some TV series, they are obsessed with getting their children into prestigious schools; in others, they are simply destructive—emotionally, physical and mentally abusive toward their children... I just don't know what to think of it—are all parents in Korea crazy and abusive?! And how they still like, forgive stay with their abusive parents.... this FHATER in my opinion should have been reported to the police... The pressure that teenagers have is outrageous... maybe this is why they behave like teenagers in their 30th old as they dont have any chilhood...
The drama has all the patterns that have existed in dramas. Dont like FL character... It doesn't really catch me, she is exaggerating in every move.. there's something so fake about it.
I wonder if people learn something from the dramas... for the better and harmonious relationship and life lessons.
Hwang InYoup I hope to see you in a good , unique drama one day. Hope the best script and director for you, for your look, for your voice, for your deep talent.
Sorry, but I dropped this one after 6th episode, I trie... so many romantic, comedy, disappointed series this year... I hope also koran dramas to become better, inspiring and magnetic ...
update:
I watched till the end... such a DISASTER, was a disaster from start to finish, messy script, wasted couples, useless subplots, and lazy execution. ... the good father has cancer and the bad one no consequence for his action.
I FEEL THIS DRAMA EMPOWERED THE BAD BEHAVIOR THE FALSE TOXIC FEMININE EMPOWERMENT THE ILNESS ALL THE BAD THINKS OF LIFE AS A GOOD THINK.

si eres fan de hwang in youp te asombrará
realmente como dijo el actor tuvieron bastantes besos y la verdad no me incomodó al contrario me gustó, ya que, si es de amor en la vida real se demuestra de alguna manera, claro hay veces que se puede inducir a que hay amor pero seamos sinceros siempre debe haber besos. Además me sorprendió cierta escena del actor que para la que lo fuimos a ver en persona sabemos que es algo tímido y eso fue como la sorpresa y lo bueno que puede ser para avanzar en sus papeles. Ahora para la historia me gustó hubo de todo, sobre todo esos giros inesperados que dio y me hizo mantener el interés en la serie y no dejarla. Solo que me hubiera gustado saber que le pasó al final al papá, de tan malo que era como quedó después del divorcio, que pasó con el hospital, pudo seguir trabajando cosas así pero son detalles. Sinceramente? Não sei… Não é que tenha sido um drama ruim, mas também não foi aquele “uau, que drama incrível”.Tiveram episódios engraçados, mas acho que algumas atitudes me deixaram um pouco decepcionada. Eu entendo todas as dificuldades, entendo a forma como ele foi embora a princípio, ela no final, os reencontros e as decisões, só achei que algumas coisas foram muito exageradas. Não sei explicar… Parece que o orgulho engolia cada um deles ali.
Eu não acho errado que a prota tenha seguido o sonho dela, mas fico pensando: mudaria tanto assim se ela tivesse mantido a relação com ele? Em alguns momentos, ficou parecendo que ela queria que ele sentisse na pele o que ela sentiu, e eu não consigo colocar na cabeça que isso tenha sido uma atitude em que ela realmente pensou nela mesma. Porque, ainda que eles mantivessem o romance, seria à distância, e ela não teria feito o projeto sozinha, já que estaria fazendo isso onde estava estudando.
E, quanto ao prota, não teria feito mais sentido ele ter procurado ela antes também? Acho que essa necessidade de ser alguém, de realizar grandes feitos e de se sentir digno acabou tornando tudo muito superficial.
Por mais que o drama traga aquele tema de “preciso ser digno de ter você ao meu lado” ou “eu escolho o meu sonho”, sabemos que ele, na verdade, não teve escolha. Ou ele fugia do pai e daquela vida amarga, ou continuava preso àquilo. Então eu fico pensando: será que eu captei a ideia do drama errada?
Sinto que o drama foi se perdendo ao longo dos episódios. Eu assisti até o fim porque ainda tinha esperança de que eles construíssem um romance firme, em que os dois soubessem viver os próprios sonhos sem que um se tornasse sombra do outro. Mas, sei lá… essa coisa de sempre separar o casal no último episódio ou colocar empecilhos que, muitas vezes, nem fazem tanto sentido já está ficando um pouco cansativa.
Mas, em um GERAL, é legal.
O casal secundário entregou uma construção muito mais bonita, histórias muito mais emocionantes e sentimentos muito mais expostos. Acho que eles deram uma quebra muito boa no drama e deixaram tudo mais harmonioso.
E o terceiro casal? Juro por tudo que NÃO entendi a personalidade daquela mulher com o CEO. Para mim, ficou parecendo um joguinho meio mal feito. E ele tinha um charme irresistível que, sinceramente, não poderia ter sido tão mal aproveitado!
Mas enfim… eu esperava mais. Acho que poderiam ter tido vários outros desfechos, principalmente para o agressor. Ele simplesmente escapou ileso e, para mim, permitir que um homem daquele fique livre é o CÚMULO do absurdo.
No fim, é um drama legal, mas nada que vá surpreender. O que é uma pena, porque os atores são ÓTIMOS e eu realmente esperava um baita romance.
E foi bem… brocoxo.

Chimica stellare, idee già viste e zero voglia di reinventarsi.
Se cercate l’originalità, cambiate strada: Dream to You riesuma dal grande archivio dei cliché asiatici la solita combinazione con il padre tiranno che si impone con violenza, la fuga in America e di conseguenza l’immancabile pausa di riflessione lunga dieci anni con il primo amore. Non è nemmeno un problema di trope in sé — sono il DNA rassicurante dei drama — ma del fatto che qui vengono copiati e incollati senza il minimo tentativo di un twist, come se la serie avesse il terrore di osare anche solo mezzo centimetro fuori dal sentiero tracciato.Ma allora perché guardarlo? Per due motivi chiarissimi: una chimica tra i protagonisti (mi riferisco a tutte le coppie che si creano) così magnetica e brillante da far sembrare ogni sguardo una confessione d’amore non detta (capace di riaccendere pure le lampadine di casa), e un’ambientazione nel mondo della regia sorprendentemente viva, dinamica e credibile. Loro due bucano lo schermo e il lavoro sul set salva letteralmente la baracca, mostrando l’unico vero guizzo di personalità del racconto.
Poi però gli sceneggiatori hanno deciso che la stabilità emotiva fosse una devianza e hanno calato l’asso: la rottura forzata “perché lei deve andare a studiare e per farlo deve per forza lasciare lui”. (Far vedere la fatica di una relazione a distanza avrebbe sortito più effetto di una rottura così inutile.) Perché si sa, nel magico mondo dei drama le relazioni a distanza sono palesemente illegali e l’unica scelta logica è lasciarsi per non dipendere da nessuno. Il fatto che abbiano trent’anni rende tutto ancora più immaturo per due protagonisti come loro. Una scelta talmente pigra e artificiale che lo stridore delle arrampicate sugli specchi si sentiva fin da qui.
In sintesi: Dream to You si fa guardare con gran piacere ed è perfetto per chi cerca diabete romantico e un’ambientazione lavorativa che dà ritmo. Ma se speravate in un racconto capace di prendere i cliché e trasformarli in qualcosa di memorabile, sappiate che a livello di scrittura c’è più inventiva in un libretto di istruzioni IKEA.
