silly and fun but sincere
I will keep it short:- I really enjoyed this one.
- Max‘s comedic acting was great. Yet another actor who previously mostly had roles of the cold cool or ‚bad‘ guy trying a comedic character. With success. :D
- Idk if the 4th wall breaks were one touch too much in the comedic aspect of the story. They suited the character but they didn‘t need to be actual wall breaks. He could‘ve just talked to an invisible audience to the side. I thought they were fun yet a little random.
- also loved the consistency of Sarm and his over the top characteristics. There was still character development.
- the father-sons dynamic was fun too.
- that they turned the „wow“ and „Jam!“ into their own sound effects was really funny to me. Made me laugh almost every single time. Especially the „wow“. Just thinking about it makes me chuckle. 🤭
- the last two episodes were just fluff (or one could argue ‚already built in Special Episodes‘) and it was so fun to see their love life post main plot.
- the plot was fun and over the top. At times it just felt a little too zig-zag (if that makes sense to anyone). Jam‘s train of thought was a little bit confusing/frustrating. But overall lots of fun.
- especially on the island it had some beautiful shots. Really would love ot visit Thailand one day.
That‘s it. :) Thanks for reading

This does not deserve a higher score
Well, I got through the whole series and for that, I’m giving myself a pat on the back. There are genuinely funny moments, mostly with Max being a goofball while Nat is playing the straight man. There are some romantic moments, because the guys do have chemistry and they’re well-known for being able to pull off NC scenes. This alone, however, does not a good BL make.
The story was a dumpster fire of nonsense. The best I could say about it is that it’s incoherent. I’ll leave judging the cinematography to other people; I’m here for the writing and characters, and we have to be honest and say that both absolutely suck, with the exception of Max doing his best impression of Willy Wonka. Once they get back from the tropical paradise, the already-very-ropey plot falls apart and stays muddled until the end, and the last couple of episodes after they get together are unwatchable.
I can’t comment on any secondary couples because they were barely on screen.
I can’t give it a very low score because it isn’t as bad as it could have been, and Max was great fun to watch. But it absolutely does not deserve the 9’s and 10’s some people are giving it. The criticism it’s getting in other reviews is well-deserved.
(Sad to see Max and Nat being done dirty with horrible writing; I maintain that Max is a phenomenal physical actor and deserves much better.)

Cringe
I've been waiting for this series because it's been so long since we got a MaxNat series under Domundi. And as a plus factor, we also have PeterpanFluke here! So, of course, I had expectations going into this. But honestly, I don't know what happened?! Was it the script? The acting? The actors? Or maybe it's just not my cup of tea? 😭
The series tried to push the romantic comedy genre, but I can probably count on one hand how many times I actually laughed. Most of the time, I just found the script and acting cringe. I'm sorry! 😭
I love series with that Tom and Jerry dynamic, the constant push and pull, the bickering, and the characters who just can't seem to get along but somehow keep coming back to each other. However, that kind of dynamic needs to be delivered well to make it entertaining. The push and pull were there, but for some reason, it just didn't work for me. I couldn't connect with it the way I wanted to.
Now, let's talk about PanFluke as Sib and Pimai. I was honestly excited to see them! From the beginning, it was established that Sib was more or less forced into the marriage, while Pimai was genuinely trying his best to make it work. You could see Pimai putting in the effort, trying to be a good partner despite how cold Sib was towards him. But then, when we saw them again in the later episodes, it suddenly felt like they had the perfect marriage. HUH?! What happened in between? 😂
I needed answers! Why was Sib so cold in the earlier episodes, and what exactly changed? I wanted to see that development, the moments that made Sib soften towards Pimai and the steps they took to get to that point. Unfortunately, I felt like we skipped over the part that would have made their relationship more meaningful.
At first, I also found Lantao's character cringe. But when he was paired with Wasin, EVERYTHING CHANGED. HAHAHAHA! 😂 Suddenly, I started enjoying his sassiness. So maybe he just needed the right man who could put up with his attitude. Their dynamic worked better for me, and I actually wanted to see more of them.
I also loved JT's cameo! I honestly didn't expect that. When they first showed JT in the text messages, I thought that was all we were going to get. So imagine my surprise when we actually got a scene with JT and Ohm together! HELLO??? JTOhm on screen together?! I was not prepared for that! 😂
And of course, we cannot forget NingNing (Kim) versus Lantao (Gems). WHO WILL WIN?! HAHAHAHA! I loved those sassy moments between them. They were entertaining, and I enjoyed seeing them go back and forth with each other.
Overall, I think my biggest issue with Your Third is that, no matter how much comedy a series wants to deliver, I still need DEPTH. I want the relationships to develop in a way that makes sense, and I want to see the moments that bring the characters closer together.
I'm honestly disappointed because I really wanted to love this series, especially with MaxNat and PanFluke in the cast. But I also understand that not every series will work for everyone, and maybe this one just wasn't for me.
Still, I'm hoping for another MaxNat series in the future. I want to see them together again, but I also hope they get a story, script, and director that really align with their personalities and acting skills. I know there's potential there, and I want to see them in a series that allows them to show it.

They must have had so much fun filming this!
The ‘plot’ follows Saam, a quirky, sensitive and frankly bizarre young man (played by Max) and Jam a stoic, pragmatic realist (played by Nat) as they navigate their way from polar opposites to soul mates.I’m afraid I didn’t take this too seriously as a Rom com as quite frankly, it’s more of a weirdly funny parody of a Rom com. Max spends his time winking and acting like a child playing dress up while jam looks on confused and mildly baffled. The first 10 episodes do have a plot - their journey to love - but the last two are more of a PWP excuse for lots of steamy nakedness with a couple of unresolved sub plots thrown in for good measure.
Highly amusing in an odd way but it’s a creative way to enjoy this fanship.
Would I watch again? Probably not but there were a couple of spectacularly goofy scenes that had me chuckling loudly and wondering how on exactly how many takes were needed as I imagine they spent an awful lot of time corpsing at Saam’s antics.

Ugh, not again!!!
First the series:The first few episodes are good (not great, but funny), as soon as they get home it takes a real downturn to just over the top, unrealistic glommy OTT affection with no substance or plot and there are a LOT of unanswered questions. 1. Kim's character is really pushed to the front in several episodes but there is no resolution shown or spoke about, the character just fades, WTF. 2. Jam's cat supposed to be important to him, but never seen in Sarm's house, etc. It just seems like this was thrown together so Max and Nat would have a series this year to promote.
Now, the couple:
I love Nat, he is the cutest, but I have never been sold on MaxNat. The chemistry is all wrong, it just feels forced. I don't know what it is, but it has always felt off in every series they are in, so it is hard for me to be engaged. Max is just way too EXTRA, it takes away from everything else.

But after half of the show, I start to find Jam's decisions wierd and didn't make sense. Like why he didn't start dating Sam, after he confess his love to him??? Not only that? I start to love interest in the show.
Thanks to Ohm, and Song, I was happy again to watch it but only for JTOhm.
I start it for PeterpanFluke but I stay for SamJam and end for JTOhm.

I'm glad I don't know these annoying fuckers irl.
I was super excited to watch this but I sadly had to wait until everything was aired because I barely had time to keep up. If I'm honest my only reason for watching this was Kim Pongsaton.... I really loved this show but genuinely I would be so pissed of at SamJam if they were real. They were really cute but they were kissing and flirting everywhere and it made me, as a watcher, feel like a third wheel. Also I got heavy second hand embarrassment from this show. I think it was quite funny but the production and acting was a bit ehhh.I feel like the biggest problem is the amount of Thai wordplay used in the show. Luckily I can understand Thai on certain levels bu tI feel like you won't really be able to understand this all if you're not able to speak Thai. For example at first Jam calls Sam 'Khun Sam" aka Mr.Sam but Sam begs him to just use "Sam / P'Sam". But the subtitles do not explain that quite well. Also there is no explanation of the Thai wordplay sentences. There's a scene where they keep using it and it might just confuse non Thai speakers who watch it.
Sooo the show it called Your Third because Jam is supposed to be like the third option (again something within the wordplay). But in the show, they really failed to share that message. So the thing is, Sam has 3 options and his first pick was Pimai, then Wasin and Jam was sort of the third option. I mean there was barely any chemistry between Sam and Pimai, same goes for Sam and Wasin. Wasin doesn't even feel like a second option because it's kinda unrequited love from Wasin's side.
I feel like there was a big information dump the first 2 episodes and after that, most of the information wasn't even necessary. Due to that I really only remembered Jam being able to speak those languages, being Japanese(?) and working under Sib. I honestly didn't even realise who Sib was because I wasn't able to tie a face to him only to realise he was the one who married Pimai at the fucking LAST episode. I find Song and Jam's friendship so adorable and I love how he was kinda 'close' to both of Sam's brothers.
As for the production, everything looks amazing but there's some slight problems and some were quite funny. I think the acting wasn't amazing but I feel like that was the whole point. MaxNat are amazing actors but the whole point was for it to be funny so I'll excuse that. If I'm very honest, I'm not a big fan of Cheewin Thanamin. I think he made amazing things but there's a lot between it that I'm a bit debated about. But over to the mistake, IN ONE SCENE U CAN SEE A MISTAKE OF A LIGHT (episode 11 at 22:35). It's honestly funny rather than irritating but I have to say, it's crazy they didn't notice this during the editing. It might've been a too important scene to like randomly cut idk but it looks so funny.
One of the small things that I was also kinda irritated about is how often they married in that show. I think we got at least like 4 marriages? I mean I don't mind but it was quite much. Also especially for SamJam, it feels like they married quite short after they dated. The series didn't exactly show amazing time skips which just got me confused a lot of the time. I was for real rooting for the side characters but there wasn't a huge drama so it was just hoping they would get their own partners.
I actually preferred SamJam when they were alone together and didn't exactly 'like' each other. It was such a sweet time and they seemed to be really different than when they were with family and everything. Also I was really mad at Jam for acting like nothing happened and randomly walking away after a hookup? Like whatttt. I couln't help but feel even worse for Sam.
This definitely is a feel good but I wouldn't suggest it on it's acting. Again, if you don't speak Thai you might not understand certain scene's. Kim actually had more scene's than expected and he was sooo cute as a ghost. Makes me think, would he be the like fourth option?? Anyways, I personally really liked it but I think it just really depends on why you watch certain things. If it's on production this would be a huge no.

over the top comedy style (watch suggestions)
Overall: the comedy style did not work for me. 12 episodes about 45 minutes each. Aired on iQIYI https://www.iq.com/play/your-third-episode-1-onlibx4ku8?lang=en_usContent Warning: punches, episode 1 13-14min a character thought another character had killed himself - the scene was written as comedy, kidnapping/held against will, near murder, manipulation
Watch Suggestions (to focus on their romance)
- start at ep 5 beginnng-13:20 (could also watch episode 4)
- episode 6 watch 20-end
- episode 7 watch 23-31:30
- episode 8 watch beginning-5:15, 10-11:40, 28-33:20 confession
- episode 9 watch 41:45-end
- episode 10 watch 8-27, 34:30-45:30, 56:40-end
- watch episodes 11 and 12
What I Liked
- chuckled a few times*
- a character was fairly intelligent and had a backbone
- good intimacy in episodes 11 and 12
Room For Improvement
- *most of the comedy was a miss for me
- the first episode was too long, could have been half the time
- effeminate male/trans woman hypersexual caricature
- a character ditched another character
- became serious in episode 8
- voiced inner thoughts
- too many couples towards the end

In the show's defense, I'm not a fan of Romcom
I don't like rom-coms; I don't like the sound effects; I don't like the exaggerated overacting; and I'm not a fan of slapstick humor in any language. That said, I've been a huge fan of MaxNat since Two Worlds. I know they definitely had amazing chemistry...so I decided to watch...and it wasn't bad; they both did well. They pulled off their characters, but given what they've shown us, this type of drama feels like a step back for them. Technically, they've only been the main leads in 3 dramas, so I know they don't have many options and need to take what comes their way. I am sure they also had a fun time playing these characters. The characters were so absurd; who wouldn't have a blast with them? I'm just disappointed because I know their capabilitiesWas this review helpful to you?

8-10 episodes would be more than enough
The drama is neither bad nor good or it's just not my cup of tea.Things I felt didn't go well
- 1st thing that gave me an ick was MaxNat's background sounds. Just irritated me. I feel they should have just had someone else make them like we see in the young dmd actor's series
- the plot is soo simple 8-10 episodes would be more than enough. 1st they drag the whole island phase. Then they drag the whole courting phase and finally they drag the post marriage phase
- Max has done a great job as an actor here but this role just doesn't suit him. It felt wayy too overwhelming
- I think this is a new dmd thing where they have other actors without any plot significance in the series. Like Kim ngl i was expecting him to play some kind of negative role or something looks like he was a cameo🤣
Things that did go well
- now the show was definitely adorable. I loved it at 1st until they started dragging it. Similar to what happened with "Your sky".
- I love JTOhm moments and the 3 brother's comedy scenes with the dad were my fav
I feel this drama will be quiet forgetful for me cz as i am reviewing this I barely remember it. There was nothing significant happening. No plot twists nothing just a straight line. I felt this with all OG dmd couples ZeeNunew, MaxNat, TutorYim their scripts are never good atp I am contemplating skipping dramas if they're starring in it. Eg: The Next Prince, ChermCher etc. Although i really love them.

The killer moustache!
I highly, highly recommend this series, its just a sweet dose of amazing chemistry with a good humour spiced with drama. Be prepared for the last 3-ish episodes which are fluff, slightly repetitive, high sugar fluff, but they give you something you rarely see with BL, time to sit with the characters after the tension is over and just feel the relationship. I'm genuinely sad this series is over as it was like a soothing balm and i will be watching again as a new comfort show.Biggest downer, the moustache, good lord, the moustache, its hideous. Seriously when it was gone i felt so relieved, but then it made a reappearance and i was terrified it would be back to stay, but fear not, it was but a brief short lived return.
I actually might go and just rewatch episode 1 again now actually.
