This series will never disappoint you
I don’t think words will ever be enough to fully capture how much I love this series. I’ll always be grateful for that random moment—like fate, honestly, when I came across that one DuangQin clip from the pilot episode. That single video was enough to pull me in, to make me want to start something I didn’t even expect much from at first. The storyline wasn’t exactly new or groundbreaking, but maybe it was my situation back then—as an elementary practice teacher, tired and searching for something comforting, that made this series hit differently. I needed something warm, something that could quietly stay with me, and DWY became exactly that. When the first episode dropped, I watched it immediately. And believe it or not, no BL series has ever hooked me within the first ten minutes of the very first episode—until this one. There was something so genuine, so effortlessly engaging, that I couldn’t look away.
I honestly think a huge part of this series’ success comes from how perfectly they cast the characters. Teetee as Duang… I genuinely cannot imagine anyone else who could portray him the way he did. The same goes for Por as Qin. They didn’t just act the roles, they 'became' them. Their acting feels so natural, so sincere, that even their most intimate scenes never felt forced or exaggerated. It was subtle, soft, and real—just *chef’s kiss*
Beyond that, everything else fell perfectly into place. The character development was carefully built, the pacing never rushed nor dragged, and the attention to detail was incredibly consistent. Even the parallels woven throughout the story added depth in such a quiet but powerful way. It’s rare to find a series where everything aligns so well—but this one did.
And that’s why, for me, it’s not just a series. It’s something I’ll carry with me for a long time.

IT'S THE MOST PERFECT AND CUTE SERIES ON THE PLANET❤️?❤️?❤️?
Everything in this series is amazing, the acting, cast, the songs, couples, characters, everything is wonderful, if you want a cute and romantic series it's this one, Duang is a love and the way he treats is wait Qin is simply beautiful, there's no hurry, it's in Qin's time. The sound effects of this series are splendid and very cute!! I almost lack words to describe the magnitude of the perfection that this series is. The friendship between Duang, Pae and Jamie is beautiful and very comforting, I say the same to Qin and his friends, this series is the series of my life, the reason for my living. The way Qin "gives in" to Duang is falling in love more and more it's wonderful, he realizes how charismatic, attentive and careful Duang is, he smiles silly sometimes this is beautiful my god😭 I will never have another series like this, the way they show affection, affection is very natural and unique, I will never see this in another BL, they in addition to being a couple are friends, partners and understand each other perfectly Teetee and Por were made for each other, not to mention the performance of Wave and North that was very good the two are very funny and everyone in this series fits perfectly in these roles and as if they were playing themselves. That said, it's the best series this universe has ever had and I highly recommend it if you disagree, disagree there from your house ❤️Was this review helpful to you?
Duaaaang!
Watch this, really!I watched this a couple days ago and wow!! I was searching for a more cute soft bl drama, kinda youth vibes, and thats what i've got. This bl really healed me, i was tired of bl's that were too complicated or hard to watch, and this one is definitely easy and good to watch, i felt good and happy all the episodes that were happy, and i could get emotional when i had to. And when i was watching i always felt kinda silly happy bursting with happiness just like Duang. Its a very light series that made me wanna live again, lol. We had some spice and emotional moments too, all in good amounts. The chosen actors were amazing, all of them good choices, they're all adorable and act really well, even tho they're not in this career for much long.
I know some people could "cringe" in some moments, but thats absolutely not me, i felt just like Duang freaking out cutely.
To finish: Duang love Qin, Qin love Duang!

Beautiful
The love they give is so beautiful. I found it funny and cute. I laughed and cried. Tee and Por did a great job. Hoping to see more of them together. I loved all episodes. The friends on both sides were wonderful. When it comes to the parents of Qin they should have done better for him when it came to the nanny abusing him. Glad to see him confront them on his feeling. We happy a ending so beautiful. ❤️ 💖 ❣️ 💕 💘 ❤️Was this review helpful to you?
Best BL Series on 2026 so far...
This show was just *chef's kiss*. I honestly don't know what I am going to do without TeeTeePor on my Saturday agenda. They brought life to DuangQin and you can see the love they have for not just their characters but each other. They are a great pairing and I cannot wait to see more of them in future series!(I cannot believe how much I cried throughout this whole series, which in my case? Is the best sign of a GREAT series.)

Duang with You: 4/27/2026 ~ 4/30/2026
Am I heavily biased writing this review? Oh, for sure, but who cares. This is the first BL that I have finished, and I loved everything about it. Everything within the show felt natural and there were no scenes where I felt awkward or had to pause due to secondhand embarrassment. Everything was perfect in this show. The friendships were amazing and so cute to see how much they cared for each other. I also love how the story progressed naturally and actually allowed the characters to build a relationship. It wasn't rushed but something that made sense given the two characters, I also love how easily misunderstanding were resolved. That doesn't mean there wasn't conflict but there weren't unnecessary fights that lead to nowhere. Lastly, I love the side couple and from what I had seen on TikTok they have their own book, so I really hope they make that into a show as well since I would really love to see that. Was this review helpful to you?

Duang with you, a breath of fresh air
I absolutely loved duang with you, the sweetest story with the sweetest characters. It had everything from the start, good story, good pacing, good soundtrack, amazing acting.
The cast really embodied the characters and por and tee tee absolutely ended the actors not acting like couples discussion, it was so lovely watching a couple on tv behave like normal couples do, makes you forget you're watch a tv show and helps you immerse fully in the warm viewing experience, they put in their all.
The platonic relationships were also really well written and explored beautifully, the friendships felt real and they were given good plots and necessary screen time and the nuance of parents - child relationship especially in qin's case was really well executed without taking away from the light hearted tone of the show and seeing duang's happy family was a warm contrast.
I just really liked the creative decisions of the show, and i think the cast delivered a wonderful performance. I really loved the attention to detail especially little things like the trio's phone charms that match their personalities or qinn's phone case that has his name, a nice change from the props without personality we see so often, it made the characters feel so real.
There were a few things i didn't like like the teddy bear plot dragging on for so long since qinn keeping it made no sense imo especially since they changed him never liking tiw like in the novel to him starting to have feelings back in hs or the camera price plot being a whole issue only for qinn to get duang expensive slippers that weren't really given an explanation but I understand plot needs conflict and it didn't really affect how much i loved the show.
The pacing was different, slower than what i usually like and they were so lovey dovey for so many episodes it felt like i was just watching them date which i usually only like for an episode or 2 since i get bored after the chase is over and the couple gets together but duang with you eps felt like a warm comfortable hug every saturday. It's very much a slice of life comfort show.
Kudos to everybody that played a part in the making of it because it was a lovely watch, I love queer joy. 🫶🏼

This series is nearly the perfect BL for those looking for an escapist, comforting drama. For many of us that is the essence of BL dramas and few BL’s seem to deliver it. They are trying hard to be something else. This series focuses on the essentials and does it with nearly perfect execution. Yet it is not too syrupy, drowning in excessive cuteness. It has its serious side exploring one of the main’s extreme psychological torment caused by his neglectful parents. The main strength of this drama is the effortless chemistry of the two leading characters, and their perfect execution of the characters depicted in the novel. Even though the main character is sort of buffoonish, he has a more serious side. The actor TeeTee does both sides of his character exceptionally well, and is really an extraordinary actor. The script is pretty faithful and is in total sync with the characters, and their personalities. Duang is almost always clownish in a really over-the-top way, but when he needs to dial it back, he’s able be very sober, mature, and judicious. The actor who plays Duang really captures the duality of this character flawlessly. The other main, played by Por has several layers to his character that he brings out with a lot of subtlety. Even though he has a mostly deadened exterior façade, he is able to reveal glimpses of other sides of his character with a slight smile, a softening of his facial expressions, or a slight longing look. He’s able to reveal his love for Duang with these even if he seems mostly stern or aloof. Por is able to also show his vulnerable, damaged side with some great portrayals of anguish. When he’s crying, revealing how his old nanny abused him, Por captures how Quin is not able to fully express himself because of his inhibitions, his natural inclination to never reveal weakness. This is really subtle acting on a high level.
What is also on a high level is the natural interaction between Duang and Quin which both actors pursue at a level that is possibly the best ever in any BL ever made. The characters feel totally comfortable with each other, meaning they don’t have the smallest hint of what I consider the inability to convey attraction between men prevalent throughout the BL industry. I’m not saying that other shows don’t have two mains that are pulling off the male attraction thing, but there is always a remnant of that feeling of unease and discomfort. I want people to think of gay actors that can easily pull off heterosexual roles, where no one even thought those actor’s where unable to convey their physical attraction to a woman. I still think the male actors in the BL industry still struggle to a large extent with this. This show reveals the path forward – this is how it’s supposed to be done. It’s not just the sexual attraction part, but how Duang comforts Quin when he’s crying in front of him. Its how they hold each other, and look into each other’s eyes with such affection. He’s acting like his partner in every way that it is possible to be a partner. This is acting which is fully committed to the role. Again, that’s what’s missing in most BL’s, and why this show is exceptional. Even the secondary couple has this. It’s something to do with the overall direction of the show.
There are several other aspects of the series which are exceptional. The script is really well done, avoiding a lot of the miscommunications which plague BL’s. It also avoids a lot of the tropes like ghosting, toxic girlfriends, and screeching ladyboys. Conflicts are handled in a matter of minutes rather than lasting for several episodes. This is critical, in my opinion, for BL’s to progress. Using the crutch of misunderstandings to create fake drama is an example of weak writing which is commonplace throughout BL’s. These are confident scriptwriters that allow their characters to communicate effectively. If we don’t have effective communication then our main characters are always portrayed as being a little pathological, cruel to their partner, indifferent, or just plain stupid. What does that say about gay people? I’m sure they don’t intend it, but this would be the natural takeaway for people after seeing hundreds of examples of this in various BL’s.
The script is also paced so well that there is never a dull moment despite the fact that there are hardly any dramatic events in the drama. Other than Quin’s confrontation with his parents which lasted a couple of minutes, there is no serious conflict in this series. What keeps the series going are just everyday conversations that somehow still capture our interest while moving the story along. There are no dead spaces. What is conveyed is a subtle psychological portrait of the characters and the dynamics of their relationships. With strong writing this is enough to keep our interest. Two characters with totally different personalities and how they interact is what is keeping our attention, and it really is enough. You can get into how Duang slowly melts Quin’s icy façade over several episodes, and how their trust in each other grows from episode to episode. How Duang is so loving and authentic is real entertainment, somehow, and how Quin can slowly evolve to reveal more of his emotions – his love for Duang, and his anguish over his past abuse is what captivates us. How could this possibly be enough? It’s done all the time in various other dramas, and art house productions. It’s definitely doable in a BL. In fact, BL’s are the perfect place to do this because they don’t rely as heavily on conflicts as virtually every other genre – just think of horror, action dramas, science fiction, etc. It just requires strong writing to accomplish this.
Every character plays their part well around the central characters. The friends of Duang and Quin, are perfect in their roles. They are also able to communicate effectively and this lends them a greater sense of credibility (again missing in most BL’s). The whole sense is of organic relationships that people can get behind and get interested in. In addition, there is a good sense of integration of all the characters into a cohesive whole. Just look how Mavis and Jamie’s relationship helps the overall show. Jamie and Mavis talk about Duang and Quin in their segments and their comments flesh out their relationship as well as developing Jamie’s character’s relationship with Duang. This is world-building that enhances the drama, giving it a sense of palpability which is essential to our participation and immersion in the series. The rest of Duang and Quin’s friends are also incorporated in a totally inclusive and integral way. They show some natural conflict between each other, but they resolve it like normal people, rather than treating every disagreement like some world-ending event. The friends also understand Duang and Quin better than they do themselves, most of the time, and provide a lot of good commentary – done in a pretty comical and entertaining way. Duang’s family is also perfect in how they help in understanding Duang’s personality traits. They are the total embodiment of how Duang became the way he is, and provide the perfect backstory, and backdrop, which is, again, great world-building. Quin’s parents also serve this role and provide the essential guidebook to Quin’s character.
I think it’s all about the details, and keeping things realistic. This is aided by the fact that the characters are not at all one-sided, and that they are relatable. Duang is not just an adorable golden-retriever, but can be depressed when the situation merits that kind of reaction, or he can dampen his goofiness when he’s in bed with Quin. Quin bullies Duang, but it’s just light bullying, and only to draw a few boundaries between Duang and himself. Duang likes to goad Quin by acting extra silly but it’s only to get his attention, not because he’s a totally supercilious character. These are people that are relatable, without any strong pathologies. It’s what draws us to them, and makes us fully involved with their characters.
Overall, this is one of the best BL’s ever made, in my opinion. It is bound to become a classic. It’s really strong in every area, including the cinematography and the music score. I love the OST, and most of the songs they’ve had throughout the series which accentuate the mood of many scenes. The lighting is also skillfully applied during the romantic episodes.
This is probably Domundi’s best series, and I hope they continue their winning streak.
We definitely could use an alternative to GMMTV. The only drawback for this series is the quick redemption arc for the parents. Those guys should never have been given a pass for years of neglect, and their attitude when Quinn was confronting them was totally unacceptable. Those two need years of therapy, and perhaps Quin’s confronting them would be the doorway for them to become cognizant of their pretty serious psychological issues. My suggestion is give us a Season Two where Quin can confront them again, and we can have some better resolution to this. As it is, this is still one of the best BL’s ever made, and I really hope we get a Season Two – they would be crazy not to make one. Even if it’s just out of greed to make money off the success of this series, I’d be happy if Domundi did it. At least give Teetee and Por another series in the near future. They definitely deserve it.

Did not disappoint!!
.This was AMAZING. A must watch.
Honestly I've liked this pair since their 1st series as a side couple but THIS is amazing, I'm waiting to see them together in more series from now on because DWY was just so funny n cute, making me wait every single week without making me feel bored or anything.
For people who haven't watched it yet I feel like this will be a great series to binge bc it's just entertaining n so silly.
At first there used to be some hate comments either about Duang or Qin but honestly just ignore it, I believe this series is silly on purpose and it's for people who r looking for a cute healthy relationship with lots of 'funny' moments just like how the 1st series they acted in was like.. so simple yet so healthy.
But if anyone doesn't like cringy healthy romance, I get it, I won't judge, it's just not for them.. I just happen to be one of the 90% of ppl who love this series.
Also unrelated but I'd love to see TeeTeePor act in a series where they're enemies to lovers, like Bad Buddy.. or maybe a body swap like in Queendom, either would be cool af.
10/10 🥹

BEST SHOW EVER. (after the untamed...)
WHERE DO I EVEN START...? This show is PERFECT. DuangQin are the biggest green flag couple you'll ever see in bl. They communicate like no other. When Duang got something expensive for Qin, he made sure to tell Duang that it was an issue since he's a student struggling. Duang did everything he could so that Qin would love him and even when he had lost faith in Qin's love, he made sure to stick by and try understandinh him the best way he could. Respect each other's boundaries and love each other countless. Their relationship is THE. standard! Was this review helpful to you?
