HOW is this show this good??

Duang With You is a show where you read the description and maybe decide it's a little generic - in a college setting, one guy is pursuing another in hopes to make him fall in love. I think this plot has been done a million times before in a million of mediocre ways. However this show is NOT one of these overdone college romances with no substance. This show FULLY explores these characters, their fears and hesitations, their insecurities, and how their feelings for each other develop over the course of the show. This show is so beautifully done that now that I have finished it I want to go back and rewatch it from the beginning just to experience it again!

Duang (Teetee) is a design major who, after seeing Qin (Por) perform a song at their school's Freshy Night festival, immediately falls head over heals. Qin is used to the attention of people - and rejects them immediately, every time. Duang is determined to pursue Qin though and (as long as Qin is okay with everything) will do whatever it takes to win him over. When the two are forced to work together for a performance, Duang sees the perfect opportunity to get closer to Qin, and while Qin is reluctant at first, he quickly notices how pure Duang's intentions are and decides to see how long Duang is willing to treat him this good.

Wow. WOW. The acting, the directing, the writing.....all of it was incredible!! I could not stop kicking my feet and laughing at this show. It's cute, it's silly, and it's got some perfectly balanced trauma and heartache to go along with it. No stupid miscommunication conflicts that take three episodes to figure out for no reason - everything in this show felt like it had a purpose in developing the characters and their relationship. Teetee and Por did a FANTASTIC job as these characters, and I think that Duang may go down as one of my favorite BL characters ever. The side characters really helped to keep the mood goofy and light when needed, and I really enjoyed all of their storylines too - but truly, the focus of the show is on Teetee and Por as Duang and Qin, and I never for a MINUTE got bored of these two. I cannot wait to see what the actors do next!! I don't think I could possibly recommend this show enough; you just have to watch it to understand the hype!!

Completely wholesome First Love story!

Oh my what a run! I just finished the final episode 12, easily by far the best episode of the series, and I feel one of the best final episodes of any BL series I can recall. It was like bathing in a warm sun of bliss!

But let's get back to the start. I remember some people dismissed the show early on, especially for Duang's (TeeTee) hyperactive childish acting. But in hindsight, Duang was one of the most interesting and loveley characters developments I have yet seen. From a wild puppy overwhelmed with love, changing Qin (Por), one who through deep trauma in his childhood had closed up entirely, Duang being a reliable support and maturing in his care for Qin, I felt this was one of the most interesting changes of both characters, without entirely breaking them up, but showing how fist love changes people and how both grew together organically.

All actors were a feast for the eyes, great acting, and no scene felt needlessly and nothing missing either. I know, university and high school first loves are a bit overplayed by now, but this one I admit felt like a whole new level. I could feel the actors gave their all, and two different characters finding together with a lovely support crew, I am glad I didn't give up and felt thoroughly rewarded with a wholesome series, hoping we see TeeTee and Por for many years yet to come. With a good soundtrack and especially main theme, two experienced singers and dancers, some drama overcome together and an ending both mature and fantastic, I have no hesitation to award this series with

"NOT THE BEST BUT STILL GOOD"

P'Kla once said before releasing the show "this show is not unique, unlike the others, its the typical one, it is not the best but still good"

P'Kla was right, this show is your typical college BL romance; your typical 'they met before', your typical 'he fells first but he fell harder', the typical setting in BL romance you could watch. But one thing I must say is that how well written this show is, how complex the characters are written but deeply manifested, how well the romance that you start admiring the non-toxic environment the story is. No other plot holes, no other plot twists or any toxic spice, just pure sugar and sweetness, a balance of taste and slice of life, it was duang and qin's lovelife and how they are so compatible with each other. Even friendships are written best, with all those proper communication and consents. The music in the show isn't cringe at all, how I love to watch them sing and it fits so right, the castings are perfectly matched and of course, bow down to the first series of teeteepor as they made duang and qin alive and real.

Yes, its the typical BL romance but that makes this series an addicting one, the flow is just crazy, it was so well done. If I will be asked to watch it again, I would love too, it is rewatchable, no cringe moments, just pure and genuine love, I can't explain how this series made me love college romance in BL again, they hooked me in. Domundi delivered, they create the most unexpected series plotting ever.

amazing masterpiece series BL 2026

If you're still thinking whether to watch this drama or not... just watch it!!! Don't hesitate! This drama is truly amazing, trust me 🙏🏻.. First, I watched the official pilot episode and I was already interested in the storyline.. but after the edited trailer was released on YouTube, oh my gosh I was so excited!! DWY is a masterpiece that is suitable for entertainment because while watching I was very entertained by the behavior of Duang, Jamie, and Pae.. their friendship is really amazing and silly 😆, Then how the director portrayed the character development, I really liked it. Duang is a very nice guy. Even the OST is all good, like a musical drama 💕, details like the room design and the furniture I also like, even the basic manners of all the characters too, Duangqin makes the chemistry become a natural and adorable couple. The good rating for this drama is indeed deserved. Thank you to the director's efforts in making this series as good as possible, he also made the supporting actors with effort because the supporting actors are already well-known in the entertainment industry too.. so I enjoyed this series

I WILL REWATCH THIS MASTERPIECE AGAIN

I tend to not have high expectations when im watching light hearted shows. But this one really stick to me. It blown away even my highest one.
I liked everything about this show: acting, pacing, storylines, cinematography, everything.
It's perfect example how college romances should be done. And casting was perfect.
Every single actor did great. I even read novel because i couldn't endure the wait between episodes. But i have to praise Por and Tete the most. They lived the characters. I couldn't imagine who except them would do characters justice as they did. I can't wait to see them in more projects. They deserve everything and beyond.

Omg omg ???

This is my first time writing a review about a movie and I feel like if I don't write a review about Duang With You I won't be happy with myself.🫣🫣

Firstly the story over all is a ten out of ten🥰🥰.
It's been a while a movie has felt so perfect. The movie portrayed love to be so easy,sweet, without hardship and so wanting. Duang's approach from the beginning,his patience even when at some point he thought Qin was going to go back to his ex,and his unchanged character even till the end made me realize that love can be patient if you ever find the right one for you. Also Qin character development from been reluctant to finally giving in completely reflects how if we do meet right person who is patient we can open up to them completely for people who find it hard to give their heart out easily 🥰😘

Secondly Qin's reconciliation with his parents made me realize how many of us wants this kind of reconciliation but will never get it because our parents will never listen and even if they do listen will never feel that they're wrong since most forget that while we might be their children and they our parents we also have our own wills and desires that we hope they can help work with 😢😢

Thirdly the NC scene was so satisfying and thrilling🥰😶‍🌫️. I kept giggling ☺️☺️and blushing😊😊 as if I was with them live. The NC scene was neither overwhelming or too little just the right type of perfect 🫠🥰

Fourthly the ost music were so beautiful and timely😘😘. The songs were inserted in the right scenes and right time. Every music fit every scene perfectly and beautifully. Music so good I already have two osts download on my phone already 🤗🫣

Fifthly the castings and actings were perfect. I loved Pae,Kim and Tong. Jamie and Marvis really also hold a special place in my heart even though as at ep11 we still don't have a kiss scene from them😭😶‍🌫️

Lastly Duang With You is definitely going to be my comfort movie from hence forth and I don't know how many times I'll be rewatching it after watching the final episode today.

JUST A PURE GREEN FOREST VIBES AND SWEETNESS!!

This was a long journey!! It’s my first tbl after 3yrs of leaving it and I’m not disappointed at all,, at first i thought dwy to have a similar cringy thai youth drama vibe but OH MY!! Duang is a damn exception, cuz he be doing all the cringy stuffs but still look cute and makes you adore him!!!
I LOVEEE how mature this drama is even after having a very casual plot line, every character really sticks with you till the end!

The story was one of the best I’ve ever watched!! It definitely is my TOP 1st in the list and will be always (until pttp comes with another banger keke)
And god duang is the most green forest character i’ve ever seen ughh!!! There is almost no misunderstanding and everything just feels very genuine!! Also i love how they have portrayed the qin character, it’s quite relatable to watch for me that i could understand every aspect of it!!

One thing i kinda wished that we would get a little more from second couple in story wise but it’s all sweet and i fully understand as northotto are very new to this…on that dmd have managed them very nicely for their respective roles (we want more of them in future too ><)

one of my favorite bls!

This is my first bl that i’ve finished and i don’t regret it! i love everything about the show and it’s so addictive i’ve been obsessed for months. it was funny and had great plot and character backstory and i genuinely felt every emotion the actors conveyed. por did an amazing job as qin. i was able to tell his emotions through the smallest changes in his body language and facial expressions for a character not very expressive. i honestly wish i could watch this again for the first time and im in love with the ost. i am upset at how little jamiemarvis we got and how quickly qin forgave his parents tho.

Rating update TEN ... TEN All the Way!!!
Well, I've proved myself wrong and missed these two so much, that I had to watch this drama again. YESSSSS.... when watching something a 2nd time, you see things that didn't see before & the good feelings have blossomed. TeeTeePo are the Perfect Pairing.

DUANG WITH YOU!
Qin's first time opening up to Duang... and I can understand that he doesn't like feeling his vulnerability for the first time when it comes to this new relationship.
Duang's character is a bit eccentric, it's a personality that can be either become annoying or cutesy. I don't know if there are young men out there that truly act like this, but it's something to think about 🤣.

The moment that Duang covered Qin's part to help him recover, was when Qins found his safety net in him. You can see the chemistry forming. Duang gently makes a path to be in Qin's heart, he understands that in his own eccentric way .. that he needs to allow Qin to find his way to him. With all the silliness that Duang had toward Qin.. it was apparent that Qin would sooner or later open his heart & trust Duang with his vulnerability.

Then came ........ the....... *Kiss* 🫣🥰. The song playing was perfect with the *First Kiss* oooooo.... goose bumps and a smile!!!!
And.... Qin ... 🫣Time to get busy 🫣.

Watching the relationship between Qin & Duang was subtle yet alluring within their world of embrace.
Until, a certain person enters back into Qin's world, it was a moment of holding your breath... especially when Duang suddenly saw a text come through.
Episode 7, from the middle to end... my heart was hugging Duang. Even though I was watching what was happening with Qin's past ... to see Duang trying to understand where he stands now in Qin's world.
This actor TeeTee is amazing in facial expressions to pull you into his heart. I definitely have to give him 10 stars. The pairing of these two was definitely ***Powerful*** shipping.
Qin is facing a path that will get rough, yet how strong is this relationship going to be with the Qin's past trying to bulldoze he's way back into his life?
Once Qin made himself clear about his feelings to Duang... I didn't cry (😭) Really 😉. Duang had his answer as the tears he held back flowed (I really didn't cry 🤭)
I really adore their relationship. Although Duang is a bit too much for me with his eccentric personality... it truly works for this drama, it fits. I didn't appreciate his quirkiness at first, because I just couldn't relate to a preadult or adult acting in such a manner. However, there was a reason the writer made Duang the way he is. With the personality of Qin ... and Duang... it fits perfectly for their ship. They are the colors in each other's life... nicely put dad 🥰

***The expensive gift***, not being accepted & feeling hurt because of it. A value of the gift can be concerning but remember the emotional attachment when buying it.. has a more priceless meaning. It's not only to give happiness to the receiver but also brings that warmth of happiness to the one who gives it. Understanding the difference between can make or break a person's heart.
Yet, Qin also has a very solid point... gifting should really not be chosen by value... but felt with sincerity.
Duang is such a Velcro Love Puppy 🫂
What Qin went through as a child is heartbreaking. He never let go or came to terms with it.
Duang once again tugged at the heartstrings by saying "Let go of your younger self's hand & hold onto mine, I'll take it from here."
OMG... what a burst of warm bright light that Qin needed to come out of his childhood darkness. (The writer of this drama... knows how to find the perfect wording to pull at the heartstrings)

Duang is definitely the best character in this drama!!!
The music picked out for this drama ... perfect!
I would DEFINITELY watch this again, but it's definitely a drama I will remember & recommend.

The Best of the Best

I knew Teetee and Por from "Your Sky" and they were cute but didn't stand out to me at all. The original pilot trailer seemed cute but basic. Seeing some of their interactions online before the show, they seemed extremely shy so I didn't trust their chemistry as a main couple either. I have never been more wrong in my life. These two genuinely have the best chemistry in any drama I have ever seen. Every interaction between them seemed so natural. I've honestly never seen anything like this before. This drama was so sweet and wholesome. I loved the development of the plot. I must be conditioned by so many bad Thai dramas that every time a new conflict was introduced, I braced myself for this amazing story to all come crumbling down but so much care was put into every aspect of this show that every conflict was handled with care and resolved in a realistic, satisfying way. For example,

(slight spoilers ahead)

the conflict with Qin's parents was addressed but they didn't pretend that everything was perfect and solved by the end.. Qin himself said that it was only the start and they had a long way to go. It was so refreshing that everything didn't magically get fixed after one interaction.

Qin and Duang always communicated and had such a healthy relationship. This healthy habit followed through with their friendships as well. I LOVED their friend groups. Jamie and Pae were hilarious. My least favorite part of "Duang with You" was Jamie and Marvis' relationship unfortunately. They had a friends with benefits situation going on with nothing going on outside of that which would be fine if not for the fact that they were not physically close with each other AT ALL. Like their whole relationship is physical intimacy yet we never see any of it and that's the only thing we had to root for them on and there's nothing there. I think either they just shouldn't have had their relationship be purely sexual OR shown them be physically affectionate. It just didn't make sense to me.

The build up between Qin and Duang's relationship was done SO well. I the first half of the series, I screamed and cried when they just hugged. The second half of the series was disgustingly adorable at portraying their relationship. So extremely sweet and cute. Their chemistry on and off-screen is just as adorable. Too cute.

The OST's are amazing as well. The additional MV's are super cute and really added to the experience of watching the drama.

This show was just amazing in almost every category. Definitely my favorite BL after watching it.
