AMAZINGLY GOOD!!

By Episode 6, Qin finally starts to be kind, follows his heart and shows that he cares about Duang too. Their chemistry is very pure and feels real.

The side characters, Jamie and Pae, are the perfect "wingmen." They add so much humor and remind us that having supportive friends makes a love story even better.

What makes this show special is how it looks. Every scene has a soft, golden glow that makes the romance feel like a dream. It’s a slow story, but it’s never boring because the emotions feel very real. It’s a high-quality series that teaches us that patience and a kind heart can win anyone over. 🌟

Thank you.

Strong Cast, Weak Plot After Episode Two

Great cast, and I genuinely like the actors, so I don’t want to be negative. However, after episode two, the story starts to feel weak. Three university students who are supposed to be studying are instead spending their time walking around campus putting up heart-shaped stickers with photos of their crushes, which doesn’t feel realistic at all. If you’re going to do a university BL, it should at least feel believable. University life should focus more on studying and personal growth, not posting pictures of your lover all over campus.

I’m also hoping the entire 12-episode plot won’t just be Duang chasing after Qinn, with Qinn playing hard to get the whole time and only accepting his love at the very end. I really like the cast, but after the second episode, the storyline just isn’t working for me so far.

A fresh and lovely new "drama" without much drama!!!

Duang with you became instantly my favourite Bl Drama and is gonna be it for a very long time!! 🩷
I've been watching dramas for more than half my life, and so far, none of the BL dramas—or dramas in general—come close to *Duang With You*.
It’s a very sweet, romantic love story between two super-cute characters; the actors were also very well casted. There’s not much drama in the drama itself—it’s about everyday problems of normal life, which are then resolved in a very positive way.
Without giving anything away, the story is mainly about how Duang, as a very loving and warm-hearted person, wants to win Qin over in his own way—not through any schemes, but simply by being there for him. He’s always by his side, helping him with his problems, and that’s how he slowly but surely wins Qin’s heart.
I can only say it again. It’s such a sweet story, very well written, and it had me eagerly waiting for Saturday every week so I could watch the new episode. Now the drama is over, which makes me super, super sad, but I’ll definitely watch it over and over again because it’s worth rewatching. I’m really, really sad that it’s over, and I hope the two actors will have something new coming out soon. The chemistry between them is just perfect, and I also hope there will be similar dramas in the future, like *Duang With You*. 🥹🩷🩵

Enjoyable overall

I almost clicked off the first 2 eps multiple times. The story just didn't suck me in, I would feel the urge to skip ahead or stop watching. I'm glad I stuck with it in the end, it started getting good for me in ep3 and the series as a whole was enjoyable. I do wish the secondary couple had an on screen declaration though but I still enjoyed their story. Not gonna lie, the English did cringe me out a bit, but I think people on the internet are making way too big of a deal over it. It truly didn't impact the story that much.

Sugar, spice and everything nice. hehee

Fluff? Check!!! Cringe? Check! Angst? Check!! Soft Spice? Check!!

This series was a huge surprise for me, I'm typically a drama, messy, supernatural, sometimes bad plot kinda gal but being a fan of Por from Your Sky (watched as a pallet cleanser and didn't hate it) , TeeTee from DMD friendship and loving DEXX I knew I needed to support even if it meant playing it in the background and WOW did it blow any and all expectations I had.

Its funny and lovable, has the type of cringe that makes you pause the show and take a DEEP breath to push yourself to keep going, but after the first couple episodes you get used to it. Heavy emotions don't hit until later in the series and when they do it really wraps the whole story up for you. The soft spice is what shocked me, TeeTee needs to show some of these older "vets" how its done cause WOW.

I'm not new to BL in the slight and the concept is not unique but what these young boys brought to the show has been a huge surprise and they have set a bar so high its going to be hard to top.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Maybe Thank You. A thank you to TeeTee, Por, and everyone apart of Duang with You, it has been such a delight to watch every week and I can already feel the emptiness of it being over. Can't wait to see more from my babies in the future :)

A MASTERPIECE

Everything about this series is perfect. Teetee as Duang is so perfect. He is so cute and he acts really good. The golden retriever energy suits him so much. Por as Qin is perfect as well. The black cat energy he’s giving is just amazing. He’s so sassy and cold during the first few episodes but then he slowly open up to Duang (who will not?) They are so cute together. I will miss DuangQin and TeeteePor so much. The other casts are perfect too! I believe they are the best and really good. Acting is so good (yes there might be some room for improvement but still, I cant think of other actors to act as DuangQin) How to live without them omg 🥹🤍

A heart-felt celebration of love and growth

I think this is one of the best shows I've ever watched.

But first, I'd like to touch on a point I keep seeing about Duang's character; he is not "cringey" lol. I've seen people dismiss his character as childish because of his exaggerated declarations of love and his light-hearted design. But I think that reaction says more about our discomfort with emotional openness than about the character himself. He is unapologetically transparent about his feelings: he admits his affection towards Qin openly, shows up consistently, and never hides his devotion. Not only that, but he himself acknowledges that his behavior is heightened because of love. He exaggerates not out of immaturity, but as a deliberate choice to pursue and support the person he cares about. I want people to look beyond the surface when talking about him, because he is the one who never fails to show up, who provides stability and encouragement when it matters most. In a culture that often prizes stoicism and romanticizes "cold" characters, Duang, who wears his heart on his sleeve, can feel uncomfortable to watch. But that discomfort doesn’t mean he lacks depth. It's more your issue than his.

MOVING ON, this series had me giddy and kicking my feet the entire time. Watching Duang pursue Qin was both hilarious and heartwarming because his love is pure, but also so determined that giving up simply isn’t an option (and importantly, Qin’s consent is always respected). Their dynamic has you rooting for Duang all the time amongst the nervous anticipation, the joy of small gestures, the humor of awkward moments, and the tenderness of genuine connection. From a broader perspective I think this series depicts the FEELING of first love and the romance of youth.

Both leads undergo meaningful growth throughout the series. Duang learns to express his love in ways that Qin can accept, but also, his journey isn’t about BECOMING consistent, it’s about showing that his consistency has depth beyond romance. What evolves is how others, especially his father, come to see that commitment. Duang’s simplicity, following his heart without elaborate reasoning, can be misunderstood as a lack of seriousness. But he learns to show up in more ways than one. Qin, meanwhile, discovers that love isn’t something that holds you back, it’s something that propels you forward and makes you a braver version of yourself. He is able to take the decision to solve his conflict with his own parents, but he is able to do so at Duang's insistence and he is able to do so because he trusts Duang wholeheartedly. Initially he remains wary of Duang's affections, but slowly comes to fall for him, and also learns to showcase his own love in reciprocal ways.

Duang's friendship trio with Jamie and Pae is remarkably well written, and remarkably well acted by North and Wave. They're so supportive, never scared to poke fun at him in funny moments, but also never fail to call him out if he does something that he shouldn't have. They're as open as him at loving him and consistently show up, and their bond reinforces the idea that love shows up in many forms. Their presence really adds depth to the story.

I did deduct one point from the story because I wish Duang’s relationship with his family had been explored more fully, as Qin’s was. His struggles with consistency and the tension with his father, who clearly had certain concerns about Duang's choices in uni, could have added another layer to his character arc. Similarly, revisiting Qin’s parents toward the end, perhaps showing them at his performance, would have been a good touch.

Finally, TeeTee and Por have given INCREDIBLE performances, and their ability to depict properly the character's growth was so well-done. I will go so far as to say a character like Duang worked only because of how brilliantly TeeTee brought his personality and traits to life. I also think that Por was able to capture the shift from hesitance to acceptance to devotion REALLY WELL. I'm looking forward to seeing both of them in future projects.

The wind up was longer than I wanted but it really was worth it

So many episodes of unrequited love! It almost lost me, honestly. And Qin was actually pretty mean about it at times. I say that both as a warning and as encouragement to stick with it, because it really does pay off.

Duang is earnest and genuinely sweet. I wasn’t fully on board with his fixation on Qin at first, but I came around. And once they decide to actually figure things out, they commit (as did I). There are still obstacles, but they’re not drawn out or overly contrived. It settles into a story about two men falling in love, which I appreciated.

The intimate scenes are fire—and not just for the obvious reasons. There’s actual dialogue, and something about the delivery and what they were saying made those moments land in a deeper way. The actors felt comfortable with each other, and the staging, especially in the final episode, was incredibly effective. It was intimate without feeling gratuitous, and it did a great job showing how close the characters had become.

I also liked how the second couple developed. Their progression felt natural, and I found myself invested in their story as well. The friend group added a lot of warmth overall.

Definitely worth pushing through the early episodes for me.

CUTE LOVE STORY YOU'LL FALL IN LOVE WITH.

I wish i could have my memory of this drama erased so i get to watch it again and indulge in it.Its been a while since i watched a Thai bl and enjoyed it immensely. This drama had me searching for the novel to read because i loved the story and wanted to know what happens next.Teetee and Por have done an amazing job with this series and one can see they are comfortable with each other and are serious with their roles.Honestly Duang's character is not that cringey as one would expect...plus he is just quirky to the people around him and comfortable with who he is.

pure comfort

my favorite show this year so far, even though college students trama is not new, the way it was done in this show was very refreshing, both solid group of friends looking out for eachother, no unnecesary drama and truly real friendships. I absolutely loved the way their relationship slowly grew, you could see the genuine development, slowly trusting eachother and becoming part of eachothers everyday life, it just was at their own pace so it didn't felt forced at all, real healthy comunication, DuangQin are just a big greenflag. Also did not knew teeteepor before this and i'm absolutely in awe with their chemistry.
Cast rating not that high because majority of the cast is still very rookie so theres always room for improvement.
They made a lot of OST's for this and they were all good too so i'm grateful.
