A Fun and Refreshing Series That Kept Me Hooked
I really enjoyed Sold Out on You. It’s one of those series that is simply very easy to watch and genuinely entertaining from start to finish. From the first few episodes, I was drawn into the story because the setting felt fresh and original compared to many other romantic dramas. It gave the show its own identity and kept things interesting throughout. What I liked most was that the story never felt completely predictable. There were a few fun twists and developments along the way that kept me invested without making the plot feel overly complicated. The pacing was also solid, which made it a perfect show to relax with and binge-watch.
The chemistry between the two lead actors was another major highlight for me. Their interactions felt natural, and they did a great job making me care about their characters and relationship. Whether the scenes were funny, emotional, or romantic, they worked well together on screen.
I’ve always enjoyed watching Ahn Hyo-seop, and this series was no exception. He has a very likeable screen presence and consistently delivers strong performances. He’s one of those actors who rarely disappoints, and once again he brought a lot of charm and charisma to his role.
I also thought the soundtrack was enjoyable. The music fit the mood of the series well and added to the overall atmosphere without ever feeling distracting.
Overall, Sold Out on You was a very entertaining watch for me. It had an original setting, engaging characters, good chemistry between the leads, enjoyable music, and enough surprises to keep things interesting. It’s not often that I finish a series and feel like every episode just flew by, but that was definitely the case here. If you're looking for something fun, charming, and easy to get invested in, I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Don't mind the bad reviews. It is not bad
I am sure we have watched alot of average Kdramas where it is cute, funny and includes supporting casts finding love as well....I liked it even though it is not perfect but it was a good watch. Lee Hae Seok and Dam Ye Jin had great chemistry.
I was wondering though, how he is so concerned about her not getting sleeping or not enough when he himself is having the same issues LOL.
Overall, it was light, romantic and inspiring not to give up on your dreams.

Basic k-drama love story for when you’re bored
The beginning of the show was really good and it captivated me from the get-go! This is my first time seeing Chae Wonbin in a main lead romance role, and she did really well. I enjoyed her acting and her visuals a lot. When it comes to Ahn Hyoseop, he sort of keeps getting type casted a lot. None of his roles seem to differentiate…what’s so funny about this show is that he basically played the business proposal’s characters twin almost. They were so extremely similar from being ceo to being ‘cold’, ‘nonchalant’ and uninterested in dating until he meets a silly goofy girl who makes him want to care and falls for her. You get the jist right? Its pretty basic lol. What I liked about this show is the relationships we see outside of the main couple, I really liked the side characters and they kept things entertaining. Somewhere in the middle of the show things got a bit boring and it felt like it was getting quite dragged out but it was never to a point where it was painful to watch (cough cough like dynamite kiss). It was pretty funny and it had its emotional moments that made me tear up.
But truly, the one thing I liked the most about this show was the last episode. They did the ending so well! I swear kdramas nowadays (when it comes to romcoms) always rush their endings and leave major plotholes lingering despite having so much screentime they could’ve used to fill those gaps in but instead focused on the most boring plots. I really really loved how every character took accountability for their actions and patched all of their relationships up. I love how Dam Yejin acknowledged how much she neglected her father and apologised to him, we rarely see a main character do this to people they do wrong just because they were in pain! I loved to see it! I loved seeing her fix her relationship with her parents in the end, and the second lead wasn’t lead on and he took the rejection like a champ, it didn’t even feel like there was a competition but just a silly misunderstanding between everyone. It was nice how everything was finally summed up in the end.
It was a pretty good show, I’ll be honest the only reason why my rating bumped up to 8 is because I liked the ending so much. Kdramas genuinely miss on their endings every damn time but this was really nice to watch. I felt happy finishing this show! However I do believe it would be more fun to watch this with someone since some episodes do get a bit boring..👀

Dam Ye Jin Weirdness
I like this show but sometimes Dam Ye Jin is weird. She doesn't take care of herself and it makes her seem pathetic. I like that she is strong but its like she wants pity. You can't feel with this actor cuz she creates her own problems and its pathetic. Its like she is just dumb, like she is an adult and acts like that. Taking so many meds recklessly. She should be in a mental hospital. She acts mentally ill.Was this review helpful to you?
Has so much potential but is ruined by bad directing and script
The "core" of the script plot is great and the actors are very capable - and then all that was just thrown out.... , Some moron made the capable actors act cringe.ML is made to act poker-faced, 99% limited in his acting and extremely boring cardboard character;
FL is made into a stupid petty damsel in distress in ep 2 in the village /with ML - but she was confident and smart in ep 1 in the city;
and SML is made into a very ... simple fangirl/idol type character. And Ep 2 is filmed in a super simplistic and rather choppy way, and nothing is funny.
To save the drama, ML actor has to be allowed to express as much as possible - make him human!, FL has to STILL have those creative, confident, smart qualities she had in ep 1, and SML needs to be more than just a pretty boy.
To me, ep 1 was so enjoyable bc ML had only comedic scenes in the village, FL had amazing professional success scenes, informative personal scenes, and the villagers provided the energetic, warm scenes.
Then it all fell apart in ep 2.... FL came to the village and behaved like a total loser moron - ah so CRINGE,
ML was grumpy poker faced the entire time - ah so ugly and BORING -
and SML was used as a decorative object for most part. Ep 2 was filmed in a very choppy way and there was nothing funny about it. Even chickens flying around was not funny.
Someone said FL actress was in Doubt. That is a top notch drama. Whoever just turned off her acting capabilities in this drama and made her act the classic sexist "stupid FL" cringe, is a total and complete moron.
I have never seen ML actor before but I highly suspect he can act and wants to act, bc he looks so bored and forced in his overly simplistic poker-faced role, and his only good scene is 1 second of him being a gangster and smiling.
This drama is just throwing great actors to trash. The director is the most at fault, I think, then the script writer.
So I dropped. it is too bad, I wanted to watch this, but life is too short to waste on trash dramas
Even shorter:
Bon Appetit Your Majesty was a super hit bc the open-minded director let ML actor act as much as he wanted, with enthusiasm and energy. That Director was a genius who saw talent and let it shine.
Unlike the director here who is either a caked old geezer without any creativity OR playing it safe and staying commercial mainstream OR totally out of touch with the drama and the actors OR someone with $$$$ told him to make a cliche trash to sell -
in any case;
SOME MORON DIRECTOR IS KILLING THIS DRAMA BY FORCING ACTORS INTO CRINGE ACTING
And the audience is guilty bc Ep 1 was all about strong FL and the audience found it boring - bc audience is sexist as usual -
and audience was shallow as usual, finding villagers boring, finding old people boring, wanting young pretty faces as rich characters in a sleek urban setting - basically their own fantasy about themselves -
and the audience LIKED Ep 2, ML as cold and shut down and FL as stupidly dumb loser who keeps making mistakes and ML saves her - the cliche plot of all trash dramas - and it WORKS - Dynamite Kiss, etc are all such dinosaur cliche sexist trash dramas with huge following -
the Director served in ep 2 what he is sure will work and turned ep 2 into a cliche sexist obsolete trash-drama
the FL is an accomplished actress from a top drama Doubt and her performance in ep 1 of this drama is STELLAR. Whoever throws that talent away is a moron to the max
But the AUDIENCE is driving this drama into mediocrity at best
So the audience needs to cajole the director to let this drama go the way of Bon Appettit Your Majesty
ML actor is energetic, dynamic and I suspect he CAN act, FL actress is a masterful actress, and SML i am sure can act. SO IT IS POSSIBLE TO MAKE A GREAT DRAMA

İlk bölümdeki sıfır əyləncə və 2ci bölümdeki o mükəmməl açılış
Sold Out On You" dizisinin ilk iki bölümünü izlədikdən sonra fikirlərim tamamilə dəyişdi. Dürüst olmaq lazımdırsa, birinci bölümü bəyənməmişdim. Baş roldakı Chae Won Bin mənə çox donuq gəldi, xarakterini tam hiss edə bilmədim və bu da izləmə həvəsimi bir az azaltdı. Aktrisanın performansı sanki hekayə ilə tam uyuşmurdu.Ancaq ikinci bölüm hər şeyi dəyişdi! Bu bölümdə həm hekayə, həm də Chae Won Bin-in performansı çox əyləncəli idi.
Kişi aktyorlara gəldikdə isə, Ahn Hyo Seop və Kim Bum həmişəki kimi mükəmməldirlər.

feel GOOD série
