It sounds like a fanfic written by a lesbian preteen who has a thing for evil CEO women.
The series has an energy similar to the films "365 Days," "50 Shades of Grey," "After," and "My Fault"... Where a rich person becomes obsessed for no reason with a poor person who is very stupid and/or pathetic.1))) The production: It's not very good, perhaps because it's a small production company, but the songs end abruptly in the first few episodes, and the series' original music plays ALL THE TIME, we get tired of it... and the sound quality is poor (both the noises and the voice itself sometimes sound strange; they didn't adjust it in post-production or re-record it to improve it). This doesn't bother me much, but I thought it was relevant to mention here.
2))) The acting: Bo and Queen always have a blank expression, and in Bo's case, she always looks like a silly girl from the 2000s. The acting of Bo's mother and Kem is very good, we really hate them in the plot.
3))) The story: The two protagonists don't have a "romantic story." Queen is simply bossy and self-centered (she improves a bit at the end), and Bo is uninteresting and lacks her own opinion. Honestly, the relationship between Bo and her college friend is better developed than the romance between Queen and Bo, which seems more like an obsession on Queen's part to "have Bo" all to herself.
4))) Important points to highlight: Bo managed to be sold 5 times in this series... 5 TIMES! Congratulations, not everyone can achieve that.

Not the best, but not that bad for Ch7's first GL series.
First of all, I personally think it's fantastic that Ch7 has finally introduced a GL series. Even though it’s not produced by their in-house team, still, it’s groundbreaking. For anyone who isn't familiar with Ch7 lakorn, it's easy to draw comparisons with GLs from other channels. But as both Thai lakorn and GL fan, being Ch7's first GL series, I personally think Dangerous Queen is not all that bad. When it comes to the story, Dangerous Queen may not be a total masterpiece, but the plot development is still quite faithful to the book. There are parts in later episodes where there's the shift in focus, but the core is still about Queen and Babe's evolving relationship. The slow burn still worked even with the gradual loss of momentum.
While the overall production quality of Dangerous Queen is good, there are some noticeable issues. The pace started off nicely during the first half of the series but lost its momentum toward the end. The story development and the direction, especially in the last four episodes feel choppy too. It seemed like they shifted focus from QueenBabe’s evolving relationship to the villains’ wild antics. And, I have a personal issue with the certain framing and angles, especially with how the director seems to gatekeeping the kiss scenes. It’s understandable if it’s the standard broadcast cut, but the uncut version? That’s nonsense. It's clear that this restriction is due to the channel's guidelines and I believe it’s also the director's choice, but it does detract from the authenticity and emotional depth of the romantic moments in the series. Seriously, wtf with that shot of the kiss scene from the back of Queen's head? From a visual storytelling POV, it doesn't make sense or even look good.
In the acting department, both Nur and Tangkwa deliver decent performances with some line deliverance look a bit rigid. But of course there's room for improvement in the future given that they are newcomers. But Tangkwa's portrayal of Queen is quite impressive, bringing the character from the book to life in a way that is both captivating and convincing.
All in all, Dangerous Queen showcases the potential of the actresses and the company, with some flaws in production and acting that could be improved upon. As someone who enjoy Khun Phuying's books, I consider this adaptation good and still worth a watch for its visual appeal and overall execution.

Some Quality Inconsistencies, But A Great Story Nonetheless
Dangerous Queen had several technical imperfections throughout the series, mostly to do with sound inconsistency; please do not let this discourage you from watching the show. TK and Nur have great chemistry and I personally believe their performances deserve applause, especially since this is TK's first series. I know some viewers were not a fan of the long stares, but to me this was a great display of longing. As for the story, I think it was executed well. It was believable to me, the viewer. The one and only redemption arc at the end of the series seemed realistic to me. Though the sins of that person were not wildly egregious, so it was much easier to forgive them. The story had great pacing, I don't remember experiencing any lulls; it kept me engaged.
Also, the last episode in my opinion was not rushed, which is great to see, as it is something that often plagues GLs which have an episode count that is on the lower side. It is probably the best finale I have seen in a GL; it is usually where amazing GLs lose the audience due to the production team wanting to wrap the series up in a neat little bow.
If it weren't for the technical difficulties, I would give Dangerous Queen a ten, but hey, for the first GL Snur has produced, it was not bad. I hope they create more and improve in the future. I would love to see TK and Nur in a series together again.

well...
The acting in this show is honestly terrible, except for the actress playing the queen and that Kem guy, who are the only ones that bring some depth to their characters. Everyone else either overacts or delivers their lines with zero emotion, making it hard to stay invested in the story. The direction doesn’t help either; most scenes feel disconnected, rushed, or awkwardly stretched out for no reason. It’s almost as if the director couldn’t decide on the tone... sometimes it tries to be serious, sometimes overly romantic, and sometimes unintentionally funny. The story itself is another major issue. It lacks coherence, originality, and emotional weight. Instead of feeling like a well-written plot, it genuinely comes across like a Wattpad Y/N fanfic, where everything is exaggerated, cliché, and driven by random romantic moments rather than proper storytelling. The characters don’t grow, the motivations don’t make sense, and the conflicts feel forced just to create drama. Even the love scenes, which some viewers might expect to elevate the chemistry, can’t save the overall narrative because they feel repetitive and poorly integrated into the plot.
One of the few positive aspects is the background music. Surprisingly, the soundtrack is really good. The placements are thoughtful, and sometimes the music is the only thing giving a scene any emotional effect. It almost feels like the show doesn’t deserve such nice scoring, because the music creates the mood the script and acting fail to deliver.
Despite these small redeeming qualities, the show as a whole just isn’t good. The weak performances, sloppy direction, and Wattpad-like storyline overshadow everything else. If you’re hoping for solid acting, engaging characters, or a strong plot, this won’t satisfy you. Overall, it’s a disappointing watch.

Uncomfortable Dynamics, Weak Performances
Dangerous Queen didn’t work for me, mainly due to its execution. The long silences and excessive staring quickly became exhausting—the quiet felt more awkward than tense. Early on, the dynamic leaned heavily into a dom–sub portrayal, and certain moments felt uncomfortable rather than compelling. It came across like a story that might have worked better as a novel than as a live-action series.I also wasn’t a fan of the constant begging dynamic. The characters felt too young for that kind of portrayal, which made it feel misplaced and uncomfortable. Overall, the project just didn’t seem like the right fit for the leads.
The acting needs significant improvement. Emotional expressions felt flat, especially in moments that required vulnerability. Queen has a naturally strong presence, but it fails to soften when the story calls for it. Bo, on the other hand, felt restrained—I kept waiting for more emotional depth that never really came. Unfortunately, there was no chemistry between them.
That said, Kem’s actor stood out. His performance felt grounded and convincing, making him the most watchable part of the series.

I seem to be in the minority here, but I really loved Nur. Her performance felt very raw and stripped down, which isn't something that I commonly see in Thai GL dramas. She really made me feel for her character. Bonita has lived a life of poverty and abuse, and she feels as though she has no self-worth. And yet, despite the fact that the universe (and her gambling-addicted mom) seem to be conspiring against her, she's still trying her best to break free from all of this. Bonita goes to University, applies for a scholarship, and even tries to make ends meet by getting a thankless job as a hostess. She feels guilty about having to rely on others (most notably Queen) to help her out, and doesn't just want to settle with becoming a gold-digger.TK was excellent as well. Despite having a cold exterior, we quickly see that Queen has a heart of gold. She's smart, ambitious, and assertive, and if you're loyal to her, then she'll take good care of you. Whether she remains a CEO or becomes a politician (or pursues a different career altogether), Queen will do great.
The supporting cast was solid as well. My personal favourite was Queen's bodyguard, Sam. Unlike most other bodyguards, he wasn't just a silent character who was only loyal to his next paycheck. He was a good fighter, had a good sense of humour, and it was clear as day how much he cared about both Queen and Bonita, and wanted to see them make it as a couple.
The story was fine. Nothing to write home about, but also nothing too bad either.
I didn't care for the soundtrack, especially not that one emotional song that seemed to play every time Bonita cried.

Supporting the Talented Cast & Crew
Go ahead and give it a shot. Don’t be deterred by the reviews if you’re really curious. Thai GLs would not be at the level that they are at right now if everyone listened to reviews without checking things out for themselves. Considering the fact that everyone has differing opinions and sometimes knowing a bit more about the background of the cast makes people want to watch their growth. I have seen a large amount of GL series within the Thai community. From larger, high-scale budget series, to smaller low-budget series. I have never skipped a series just because it didn’t feature a large cast, or extravagant locations. There have been plenty of series with newer actors/actresses that don’t exactly have the budget, but there is something about the hard-work they put in that just drags you in. That’s how I feel about Dangerous Queen. This series was made possible by the cast and crew that put all their time and effort into it. It may not be at the level it could be at if it were produced by a larger company, but the fact that they were even able to accomplish this as it is now with so little resources makes a difference. Supporting this series will only make way for S.Nur Entertainment to grow and be able to produce higher quality series. I would like to see what they could accomplish with additional resources and after taking in the constructive criticism. I’m absolutely rooting for this series and any future series we may see from them. Was this review helpful to you?
not written well and scenes are un-naturally long
The series dialog and directing wasn't well so it created scenes that lasted too long. the editing wasn't great either and some secondary characters did not having good acting. it was semi-enjoyable to watch but got hard to finish.don't expect a good or great show when watching this. it's just slightly below okay.
wouldn't recommended but if you've got time to waste or you're trying to watch every gl out there then go for it. probably not the worst gl out there. had a lot of wasted potential tho.

That was... I don't know
This show was broadcast at an inconvenient time. Compared to others such as Poisonous Love, Love Design, ClaireBell and even My Safe Zone, this one was the weakest in terms of production.I really didn't like the pace, the constant long looks, and the dramatic pauses. I also found the music weaker compared to the competition. (The OSTs from Poisonous Love and Love Design are already a permanent part of my playlist).
I liked the first episodes, I liked Queen's tough exterior and Bo's slightly naive nature. Sam added a bit of comedy, so I hoped the show would improve over time.
Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Somehow, I wasn't on the same page as the main characters. I didn't believe in their relationship. Perhaps it would have been better to focus more on the characters' psychology, to build their relationship on a solid foundation and see their personal progress (what Queen actually liked about Bo is still a mystery to me) rather than overly dramatic plot twists.
It could have been a good show in the style of Fifty Shades of Grey. It's not really my cup of tea, but it could have been entertaining and something different from other dramas/comedies.
Of course, this is just my opinion, so watch it for yourself and decide if the show will become your favorite. But I'll choose something else to rewatch :)

I mean it's kinda meh as compare to other series
Honestly, from the very beginning, the story felt a bit like something out of Wattpad. I was pretty confused about what was going on. I couldn’t really see a strong connection between the main characters, and overall, the story from episodes 1 to 6 felt quite rushed. There wasn’t much real communication between them; instead, it often seemed like one character was constantly dominating the other in every scene and episode. At times, I found myself lost in the plot and unsure of what was actually happening. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to connect with any of the characters emotionally. Still, it’s alright, I hope future series will offer stronger storytelling and better character development so I can connect with them more.

Not Great but Not Terrible
The acting was pretty good. Everyone did well with the characters they were given.I did not love the story. It was like out of a Wattpad written by a teenager. It was not terrible, but not really what I like. There were many moments of silence as they just stared at each other. Not much communication. I feel like Queen talked more in the last episode than the others combined, lol.
Please do not let reviews deter you from checking it out yourself as they are very subjective.

It was bad but fun to watch
So, how can I explain that the series is watchable? I'm not going to say too many negative things about it, because I watched it for 10 weeks without getting too angry. So, there you go, but the series lacks depth and meaning, lol. Also, I would have liked to learn more about Queen's character. However, I did laugh a lot.Was this review helpful to you?
