not horrible not great
The story itself is very dramatic and teeters on the edge of unrealistic, but some dramas are intentionally over the top to draw you in and keep you hooked, so I’ll let it slide by. The acting from the two FLs isn’t great, but it’s not horrible either. There are a lot of blank stares where dialogue could’ve been inserted instead because the looks don’t convey much to me. In ep5 there’s a bout of push and pull that doesn’t last very long, and I’m not even sure when the issue was resolved or how it was resolved so quickly in order for them to accept that they like each other.I think there’s a way to do “dark romance” but I’m not sure these two pull it off well. Instead of Queen’s actions coming off as domineering or attractive, she just seems stiff. And the other girl is so meagre that it’s annoying instead of endearing, especially when she seems fully capable of putting her foot down at the most irrelevant times. But that is all just my opinion; I have seen a loooot of people loving both their portrayals of the characters, so know that my thoughts aren’t exactly popular.
Overall, I’d say to give this series a try whether you’re interested in the “dark romance” genre or not, because you never know if you might end up liking it!

Interesting story but wanted more
I thought the story was very interesting. It kept me hooked enough to tune in every week. But I like to give series a chance past 2 episodes. You don’t really know how things will turn out if you quit too early in the series. For this to be Nur’s first production and TK’s first acting, I thought she did well. And all the supporting cast was great, great acting, and I felt they served their roles well.I had to give it a lower score because in regards to the gl’s released this year, this one was missing something. Maybe some of the technical inconsistencies? I also felt like Bo and Queen needed more dialogue, especially early on. And not like oh they don’t communicate, but I mean actual dialogue. There was a lot of dead space with them just staring at each other. And that could be directing?? Because in many scenes with all characters there seemed to be so much time wasted staring too long at one another before they said their next line. So that threw me off.
Overall a good series, I was interested, but likely won’t be one that I replay. But I do hope to see TK and Nur in another series!

Exciting :)
I had to add a review, because the one here could unnecessarily discourage viewers. There are certainly no bad acting performances, l've seen worse (My marvelous dream is you), but there is a certain chemistry between the main characters, especially Queen trying to be patient and Bo gradually falling for her, even though everything is working against them, especially relatives and the intrigues of rivals, the relationship between them gradually develops.The direction is excellent, exciting and engaging, so l definitely recommend watching. :)
