Professor Zhou Let's Get Married (2025)

Heartwarming, slice-of-life, and very sweet.

(I rate vertical dramas on their own sliding scale.) General spoilers only below.
Definitely one of the best vertical dramas I've seen! I love the realistic, down-to-earth, slice-of-life, very sweet romance. With big green flag leads, great acting, and good messages throughout. Uplifting and heartwarming.

A FL who has been mistreated by family and starts to blossom with the encouragement and care of the ML. She has been trained to be meek and obedient but starts to come out of her shell and practice standing up for herself. She is smart (in medical school) and good-hearted. The actress is wonderful in this role and I'll be checking out her other work. She is nuanced, believable, and empathizable.

The ML starts taking care of the FL out of duty, but quickly becomes fond and then falls fully in love. The ML proritizes the FL's health and career, is a good communicator and listener, and tells the FL it's okay to cry instead of repressing herself and offers long hugs. I totally melted. I also appreciated that the ML is written as a more realistic, steady type of guy, not just a puppy-like wife spoiler (which seems to become many a ML's whole characterization after getting bit by the love bug).

It's slow burn with a few good romantic-sexual tension moments and a couple good kisses. I found the whole thing extremely emotionally satisfying.

The 3 hour plot was tightly woven; no unnecessary parts in my view. Realistic trials that the couple learn to work through together. Not much time spent on people other than the leads, low violence, no green teas, no kidnappings or other ridiculous plot shenanigans, and no rape (there is a brief grope but it is handled seriously and realistically).

I really loved this drama. The FL’s growth from someone uncertain to someone who can finally stand up for herself that was so satisfying to watch. The ML is the ultimate green flag: steady, protective, and genuinely loving. Their communication and chemistry make the whole story feel real and heartwarming.

I also appreciated how the drama handled judgment from the ML’s family once they found out he married a younger student and she was pregnant. The FL’s pain in those moments, especially when all she wanted was a “home,” really hit hard and made her journey even more emotional and meaningful.

Overall, Beautiful character development, a supportive ML, and a relationship that feels mature and sincere. I loved every bit of it.

Lovely Drama with Lovely Main Leads

I regretted by not watching this too soon. It was warmth and slice-of-life drama.

The growth progress in FL are quite wonderful for being not favorable despite her achievement by her family until she make big decision by marrying ML. Gong Fang Ni is one of rare actress that make cute character are not artificial and overacts. FL friend is her sole support beside ML.
ML is self aware when he know he was sleeping with her student, which is rare male character moment in short drama. Charon is definitely work on his specialized green flag character. The romance is perfect for every part of it the phase when they are communicating about their concern. The chemistry was too lovely to see and it gives real reaction about how older man/young woman couple are usually do.

Highlight to this drama by implicating misogyny attitude by FL family neglecting their daughter despite her wonderful achievement over their son always being pampered despite being loser in real life. ML family reaction when they know their son got shotgun marriage with younger student is too relatable.

Recommended to watch.

Cuidado para não ficar com dor na bochecha de tanto sorrir com a delicadeza deste drama..

3 horas de um amor sendo construído diariamente..
Lembro-me de ter assistido esse drama assim que estreiou e eu simplesmente adorei a maneira que foi desenvolvido.
O ML foi extremamente doce com a FL desde o momento em que a viu novamente na faculdade, antes mesmo de saber que seria pai. Gostei da maneira sutil e responsável que ele tem para organizar as coisas e entender todo o turbilhão que a FL estava passando e oferecer opções para ela, seja o aborto ou ficarem juntos e cuidarem do bebê.
Adorei a cena onde ele diz "Feliz casamento Sra. Zhou" e ela sorriu.
Eu ri com as cenas na escola, seja quando eles se reencontram depois da noite que tiveram ou quando ela vai pegar o formulário para se mudar e se esconde debaixo da mesa, ela puxando o ML me fez rir pela cara do ator kkkk
A reação da amiga da FL ao saber que ela era casada e estava grávida foi impagável, assim como todas as interações delas falando sobre o ML.
O drama passa voando, ou você está sorrindo igual boba com a interação dos dois ou você está rindo dos pensamentos e reações da FL.
Uma das cenas mais engraçadas é:
Ela avoada enquanto ele explicava foi bonito de ver e logo em seguida a gente gargalha com ela tendo que dzer o porque não ouviu nada do que ele explicou kkkk Ai ele manda ela explicar tudo sem olhar para ele e voilá, ele não resiste e também fica avoado imaginando coisas kkkkkkkkkkk

Cenas mais emocionantes:
1. Quando a FL conta para o ML o porquê de estar trabalhando meio período
2. Quando o ML a defende na delegacia e depois a conforta
3. Quando a FL consegue dizer que se sente perdida em tamanha proteção dele e ele a convida para lavar louça e no link que eu assisti tocou Silence Wang (música que eu simplesmente sou viciada e apaixonada)
4. "Você só pertence a você mesma."
5. O final, sem dúvidas, é o mais bonito de todos, onde o ML arranja para a FL ir para o exterior logo após o nascimento do bebê, a fala dele para a família constata a realidade da mulher perante a sociedade e com filhos, o quanto temos que abrir mão dos nossos sonhos por causa da maternidade e casamento. Mas... se ele pegou licença não remunerada, por que então ele não foi para o exterior com ela sendo que a família dele é uma das empresas mais importantes da área médica e os pais viviam no exterior por tanto tempo? kkkkkk

A única hora que você quer dar um murro na tela é quando aparece a família da FL.
Nem o 2ML e a 2FL são significantes neste drama e adorei como, assim que soube, que a FL era casada e estava grávida, o 2ML não a incomodou.
