The best KBL

I dare say that I have seen countless BLs and I would rank this masterpiece among my top 5. Among Korean BL series, it is definitely the best I’ve seen, the actors, filmography, music and script are absolutely brilliant. Everyone who participated in this project deserves the best!

I didn't have high expectations at first, but as soon as I finished the first episode, I was hooked. After a long time, a series that you really wait for to come out and it feels like an eternity until next Thursday and the next episode. It's so good that I forced myself to read the whole novella because I couldn't stand not knowing how it would all turn out. I have to admit that it's really very accurate to the original. Every episode was amazing. I admire the acting of all the actors and actresses.

The best K-BL I ever watched, the perfect mix of crime thriller and BL story.

There many crime thriller BLs I've watched so far either it is Thai or any other but somewhere this bls can't provide the equal importance to the crime story and the story between the two ML . Either they become too invested in romanticising the BL story and totally ignore the crime story or vise versa. But not in this series I get too involved while they investigate the cases as a crime thriller genre lover and excited when the MLs interact with each other. Also the tension between them is top notch and I just watched the ep 4 (the NC scene) it was too fine, I got butterflies all over. This is something we usually don't find in other bls except Chinese BLs , but finally this kdrama giving the perfect competition. I hope the further ep keep the story line and the flow still up , imt already excited for next Friday. Can't wait anymore 🥹😭😭💌

Yesss!

Korean BLs are so hit or miss and I am thrilled to say that this one is a hit. There is a strong storyline, creative writing, and the actors are not only believable in their line delivery, but there are no dead fish lips. With my ADHD I often times watch series as background noise while I'm doing other things, but I knew this one was something special when I found myself stopping what I was doing to rewind and focus on what I was watching. Even without the romance, this is a good series that really keeps you engaged.

Absolutely masterpiece of a show.!!

You can tell when they invest on quality when producing a BL.

It doesn't even feel like a BL but like an actual Kdrama. Korean producer really has a big name in the area and you can tell her mark on every piece. First of all, the plot. Beautiful, original it really keeps you intrigued and suspicious of everything.

Second, the acting. chef kiss. These two really nailed it. Chaeha really feels like this vulnerable yet suspicious character and of course Prosecutor Ju is absolutely intriguing yet you sense how damage he was by his father's murder.

Korean Bl really came over to bring a new game to the table. Love it.

Korea is King of Gore, Force & Intensity

What I love about Korean cinematography is the realism by which they just draw me in. The focus on tangible facts and objectivity is above par, imho. As a schadenfreude, I enjoy the intention placed on the gore and how they explain in detailed conversations what was done and with what, as if it’s normal discussions— because they are. It’s what investigators do.

If you’re someone who enjoys trying to put the pieces together by developing theories which often times react to gut feelings, this is a good watch. My mind wonders at the slightest clues…which might amount to nothing. However, it’s what makes these well put together storylines worth watching.

Top-Notch 2026 BL Drama. Daebak!

Proposal Prosecutor is hands down the best BL of 2026, and I'm just a rookie fan still figuring out this whole drama obsession. Let me gush properly. Within 172 chapters, the drama packed everything into just 10 episodes, each under 20 minutes. That sounds like a disaster waiting to happen, right? But the director pulled off a miracle. Nothing felt cut or rushed. Every emotional beat, every turning point landed with perfect timing. They respected the source material while making it purely cinematic.

And the cast? Absolute chef kissed perfection. Their acting is so raw and real. Every glance, every whisper, every tear wrecked me. But can we talk about the steamy scenes? It just wow! Brave, bold and wicked. It tamed the novel's sultriness so well. They were hot, tasteful, and full of longing, not just thrown in for fan service. The chemistry between the leads burned so bright I had to look away sometimes. They didn't just act those moments, they lived them.

I really hope this drama sweeps every award this season. Best Drama, Best Actor, Best Couple, Best Kiss, you name it. They earned it all. But honestly, 10 episodes felt like a cruel tease. It ended perfectly at chapter 172, and now I'm desperately praying for a Season 2 to continue from chapter 173 onward. The story has so much more to give. Please, producers, make it happen. This masterpiece deserves a 2nd season so badly.

After watching the first two episodes of The Prosecutor's Proposal, I'm already hooked. The series does a great job of balancing mystery, investigation, and emotional tension. The chemistry between the two leads feels natural and compelling, making every interaction interesting to watch.

The storytelling is engaging, with enough suspense to keep me curious about what will happen next. The cinematography is beautiful, and the acting feels convincing and heartfelt. Even though it's only been two episodes, the drama has already established an intriguing atmosphere and strong character dynamics.

So far, The Prosecutor's Proposal has made a very promising start, and I'm excited to see how the story develops in the upcoming episodes.

Well produced procedural drama not skimping on BL

It mostly feels like a budget procedural drama but I am glad that they didn’t bromance this but actually put in the BL elements naturally.

The MLs have good chemistry and are handsome especially the Prosecutor. So far this Korean BL is outperforming those coming out of Korea this year. I am looking forward to how their relationship develops and the truth behind the killing that brought them together; hopefully it will cement their relationship in the end!

First impresion

Episode 1:
Incredible so far, I had low expectations for this drama, but it definitely is much better than expected. Great acting, beautiful visuals, and a really interesting and engaging storyline.
So far there are some things that I am confused about, but that only makes me more interested and invested in future episodes.

Episode 2:
I like Song Haneul, he is a nice ray of sunshine in such series.
Even though I understand the "prosecutor's" point and his reasons to act the way he does, I still think he can be a bit more civil while talking to the main character.
His way of coping with everything is definitely not the best.
