So cute and sweet! Satisfying but leaves you wanting more!
What a sweet and cute short series. It grabs your heart from the start and doesn't let go until the end.
There was more emotional satisfaction than longer series.
Very enjoyable and endearing series with handsome actors.
If your in the mood for a light-hearted romantic slice of life series then, I highly recommend adding this series to your wacth list. You'll be glad you did.

Short, to the point, still a slow burn, no toxicity
While Strongberry struggled with it's last series, GND did it mostly right. This a lovely friends to lovers story. While a short one (6 ep around 10 minutes), it's still a slow burn. On the other hand there are no misunderstandings or toxicity. The only negative is that we had to wait for each episode for a week which does not make much sense. I would have prefered if they just released it as an movie - which they will do not so far in the future if I think about their last production "My Damn Business". This should be binge-watched!The characters are not super complex but they are well enough written, they avoided classic BL clicheś with a love triangle from the friends but inserted a sunbea in the later half of the series. This forces Ju Do to act, to take the courage to confess and leave his angst behind him. They even left an open end for his friend because sunbea may have an interest in him too. The third friend is surprised but supportive and understandingwithout any drama introduced.
Production was more eleborate compared to Sukfilms series, so this feels more organic even when they have only four characters in the whole series. The school could have been more livelier but they had some extras at the basketball court. I also wished they had some extras in the cafe but of course they had little budget to expand the scope of the production. The chemistry was nice and acting wise there is nothing I could complain about.
Overall it was really heartwarming to watch and this is a show you should not miss!

Feelings have found their name and it’s sweet love!
This mini drama is 6 ep , roughly about 10 minutes each, all centred around the classic friends x lovers trope. It was a soft, easy and light hearted watch. The chemistry between the leads was definitely the highlight for me. I love their silly playful banter and tension. It felt very genuine. I liked and understood the hesitation. I think both of them liked each other but the thought of risking their friendship and crossing the line kind of terrified them. Considering how short the overall time was, I wasn't expecting much of a character development or a full fleshed out story but not over complicating things here definitely worked out for everyone.
Also, I love the trio's friendship was so healthy. No unnecessary drama, no toxic vibes. No Jeon Su was such a supportive, low-key comic relief and his bond with Jaeyul and Dowan was honestly so wholesome. Major props to the writers for NOT turning this into a dumb love triangle.
Acting wise, I found the overall performance satisfactory. I have seen Lee Jae Hyeop in Sweetheart service before , but he was way better here in my opinion. The rest of the actors were new to me,but they did their thing.
Production-wise, GND Studio has been pretty decent. My only complaint is why they didn't release a few episodes together instead of one per week or at least just increase the runtime for the story to have a bigger impact and continuity. I literally binged five episodes in a row and had to wait a few hours to see the final episode. But I also understand that waiting a whole week for ten odd minutes is frustrating.
All in all, it is a simple feel good story that is not asking much. It never tries to be what it isn't , that is no complex layers or intense character development.
I will definitely recommend it if you have an hour to kill and don't mind some light, fluffy fun but don't expect anything ground breaking.

gentle slice of life
Overall: felt like a slice of life or even a vlog. Episode 1 & 2 seemed to happen before the events in Close to You. 6 episodes about 10 minutes each. Aired on GND Studio channel https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-UjFgW8TJEd-7ha5jR1N0Rne1Lz66mZp&si=MnR1TAAupvzfnxEVWhat I Liked
- visuals
- their friend was awesome, I need a spin-off with him as the lead
Room For Improvement
- voice over at the end of episode 1
- not a fan of the silent pining and then a love rival appears to start things

Short and Simple
The Nameless Season is a cute and light microseries—honestly, it feels like something they could’ve just made into a short movie instead. The plot is super simple, not much really happens, but it still kept me entertained while I was working on my laptop. It’s about two boys who are classmates and friends, and one of them secretly likes the other. Not a lot of characters, and it definitely feels like a low-budget Korean BL, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
My only complaint is how slow some of the conversations are. Like in one scene where they’re eating and drinking, it takes forever for someone to answer a question—it just drags a bit.
But I actually liked how it ended! I thought it would be one-sided love, but the ending was sweet and satisfying. If you’re just looking for something light and easy to watch in one sitting, I’d recommend it. 🩷

Charming and Addictive: The Nameless Delivers a Fun, Predictable BL with Heart
It’s wild how a show with such short 10 minute episodes can be more entertaining than some full 50 minute ones, but The Nameless really pulls it off! From the very first episode, I was hooked. The two male leads are gorgeous, honestly, they’re both cute and handsome in the best way possible, and their chemistry is undeniable. The acting is solid, and it’s hard to get bored when everything feels so natural and engaging. One of my favorite moments has to be Episode 5, where they all hang out by the pool, casually eating watermelon together. It’s such a warm, feel-good scene and really captured the essence of their bond. It’s these simple moments that make the show shine.
However, I’m giving it an 8/10 instead of a higher score. The plot itself is pretty predictable, and while there’s nothing wrong with that, it didn’t offer anything particularly extraordinary. It’s a cute, light BL series, but there’s no major plot twist or deep drama to push it beyond the "just good" category. That said, I found myself craving new episodes each Saturday, which says a lot about how enjoyable it is!
If you’re looking for a fun, easy-watch BL with adorable characters and no heavy emotional rollercoasters, this is the one. It's perfect for a light binge!

Finally got the whole story!
After being introduced to the couple on "Close to you" i felt like i needed more. The 2 eps that left us with an incomplete story werent enough. Their story was the one i wanted to be finished. Im glad we got a closure. Although it was soft and cute (which isnt bad), i needed something more to the plot. Perhaps more intense feelings? Perhaps more eps so we could see how the second guy got over his confusion and how he cleared his feelings? Im not sure what's missing... I think that on the sequel we got more intense scenes and i was expecting that here as well. Was this review helpful to you?
Kinda sweet
This drama was not very special, but is was kinda sweet. A boy discovering he hads feelings for is best friend and what to do with those feelings. It is quite a standard story and very slow burn.
The visuals and music are ok.
The acting is not bad, but i get the feeling they don't have enough experience in acting yet. Their acting feels a bit shy and "flat". That also shows in their interactions, there is hardly any chemistry and the kisses ar not very bad, but just feel so unexperienced.

So Cute!
Unbelievably adorable! No love triangle drama, no fighting, no stress. Just a small group of the sweetest guys finding their way with each other. I see this being a comfort watch down the road. I would love to see more BLs like this. My only drawback was the episode length. If it's that short, a short movie would be smoother to watch. It was nice though that the episodes did NOT have credits at both ends making it even shorter. Was this review helpful to you?
Ahhh my heart beats for kbl
I love all bl in general but I know when I watch KBL it's grip on my heart is ironclad. This was an accidental find that looped in after another show I was watching. My heart did not stop pounding the entire 5 short episodes. I love it. The actors are great and fit the narrative. LOVE LOVE LOVE. There were a few moments when I thought my heart would stop as the interactions between the 3 besties seemed to be heading in a different direction. Waiting with baited breath or the last episode tomorrow. Was this review helpful to you?
