Ahn Hyo Seop and Chae Won Bin's 'Sold Out on You' confirms premiere date

The upcoming SBS rom-com Sold Out on You has confirmed its premiere for April 22. 

Sold Out on You follows perfectionist farmer Matthew Lee, aka Quail (Ahn Hyo Seop), and home shopping show host Dam Ye Jin (Chae Won Bin), who suffers from insomnia. 

Ahead of the premiere, the production team released stills from script reading, which was attended by the lead cast and crew. 

At the script reading, Ahn Hyo Seop brought out the charm of young farmer Matthew Lee, nicknamed Quail, who is cold on the outside but soft on the inside. In scenes where he's driving a tractor or working in the fields, the actor even added sound effects to match the stage directions, adding a lively energy.

Playing home shopping host Dam Ye Jin, Chae Won Bin energized the script reading with her vibrant presence. In scenes where her character persuades others to get what she wants, Chae Won Bin captured the appeal of a top show host with 1 trillion won in cumulative sales, using a confident voice and captivating hand gestures.

Kim Bum fully melted into the role of Seo Eric, the warm and considerate executive director of the cosmetics company L’Étoile. 

Go Doo Shim comes as Song Hak Daek, the influential figure in Deokpung Village. She added to the warmth with her friendliness as she asked, "Want to stay for some potatoes?", her dialect, and her comforting smile. Throughout the script reading, she also cheered on her fellow actors with generous applause.

Boasting the synergy of Ahn Hyo Seop, Chae Won Bin, Kim Bum, and Go Doo Shim, SBS's new Wednesday-Thursday drama Sold Out on You will premiere on April 22.
