Koo Kyo Hwan faces off against Shin Seung Ho in 'Reawaken Man: The Red'
Highly anticipated Wuxia drama Whispers of Fate is coming on October 24.
The drama is adapted from Teng Ping's novel "Enduring a Thousand Tribulations" (千劫眉), and tells the story of Tang Li Ci, a disciple of an influential clan from an "otherworldly realm," who travels and grows within the vast martial arts world and the land of Shenzhou (China). Along the way, he experiences precious relationships, as well as misunderstandings and betrayals. Even in a complex, turbulent, and fiercely competitive world, he believes in the love inside all things, the compassion of people, and the righteousness in the world, remaining determined to protect the realm and uphold justice.
Tang Li Ci (Luo Yun Xi) is framed by a former friend and is accused of masterminding the crime of the massacre of an influential clan.
Even ten years later, suspicions about him persist, yet far more sinister forces are plotting to plunge the realm into chaos. Struggling with his own inner conflicts and inability to tell good from evil, Li Ci is pulled back into the larger world, relying solely on his intelligence and martial arts prowess to confront the evil conspiracy. Along the way, he encounters old acquaintances — some hostile, some allies. Can Li Ci and his companions fight the evil, or will his conflicted nature be his ultimate downfall?
Starring alongside Luo Yun Xi are Xiao Shun Yao as Shen Lang Hun, Ao Zi Yi as Chi Yun, Alen Fang as Liu Yan, Bao Shang En as Zhong Chun Ji, and Sebrina Chen as Xi Fang Tao.
