Actress Park Hye Soo's recent whereabouts have been revealed.
On July 25, actor Kim Jong Soo posted an update on his personal social media account. In the photo, actress Park Hye Soo, who has not been very active in the industry, was spotted together with the actor. Kim Jong Soo captioned their photo, "Hye Soo is running her cafe in Paju. Build your own space, brew your own coffee, and bake your own bread. Enjoy." Kim Jong Soo was seen posing with actress Lee Joo Young and Park Hye Soo, who was brightly smiling and wearing an apron.
The actress's agency then responded to the photo and confirmed, "It is true that Park Hye Soo opened a new cafe in Paju and is taking on a new challenge."
In 2021, Park Hye Soo was embroiled in a bullying controversy. Her agency denied the claims and stated that the actress was actually the victim. Due to this controversy, her KBS K-drama Dear.M's airing date was postponed. Since then, the actress has taken a hiatus from the industry.
In 2023, Park Hye Soo greeted viewers with the film The Dream Songs. She worked alongside Kim Si Eun, Oh Woo Ri, So A Rin, Lee Do Eun, and Han Gi Ok. In the same year, she also officially filed a complaint and lawsuit against the person who started the school violence allegations against her.
It's been two years, and Park Hye Soo has yet to announce a new project, seemingly focusing entirely on her cafe business.
Park Hye Soo was introduced to the public after she participated in K-Pop Star Season 4. She then debuted as an actress in 2015 through the K-drama Yong Pal. She became more known after she starred in the hit K-drama Age of Youth alongside Han Ye Ri, Han Seung Yeon, Park Eun Bin, and Ryu Hwa Young.
Since then, Park Hye Soo starred in several works such as Introverted Boss, Saimdang, Light’s Diary, Samjin Company English Class, Swing Kids, and more.
