The wuxia drama The Legend of Lu Xiaofeng has officially begun filming on March 6. The series is produced by Lemon Pictures and Tencent Video. It is written by Ren Zhuang Liu and directed by Zhou Jing Tao. Gong Jun stars in the lead role, with Zheng Ye Cheng, Riley Wang (Wang Yi Lun), and Quan Yi Lun also starring, and Chang Long and Li Qing make special appearances.

Adapted from Gu Long's novel "The Legend of Lu Xiaofeng", the drama tells the story of a world plagued by a string of mysterious unsolved cases. In order to maintain peace in the martial world, Wuwang Pavilion entrusts Lu Xiao Feng (Gong Jun) with solving the realm's mysteries, offering in exchange a miraculous medicine said that can cure blindness. Determined to heal the eyes of his best friend, Hua Man Lou, Lu Xiao Feng sets out to solve the extraordinary cases.

The character posters unfold an uninhibited ink-wash Chinese aesthetic. Amid the layered interplay of light and heavy brushwork, bleached bones, surging waves, and eerie butterflies are subtly woven into the compositions. The flowing ink textures embody not only the free-spirited expressiveness of the wuxia world but also serve as a hidden vessel for the drama's mysterious investigations, allowing traditional Chinese aesthetics and the tension of detective storytelling to intertwine seamlessly. In every brushstroke of ink, there seems to lie a mystery waiting to be solved.

The Legend of Lu Xiaofeng features not only life-and-death peril amid flashing blades and clashing swords but also the trust and mutual guardianship shared between brothers, who continue to uphold the foundation of the jianghu and protect ordinary people even amid a complex and dangerous landscape.

By telling the story of Lu Xiao Feng and his friends as they journey through jianghu and crack one mystery after another, the drama aims to redefine and rekindle "friendship", "dreams", and "truth" within the wuxia world.
