Jung Kyung Ho, Jeon Yeo Been, Choi Dae Hoon, Kang Mal Geum confirmed for new K-drama

On May 15, the production team of JTBC's upcoming weekend drama Reborn Rookie unveiled a new teaser, offering a glimpse of Kang Yong Ho living his second life in the body of the soccer player Hwang Joon Hyun.
Reborn Rookie follows Kang Yong Ho (Son Hyun Joo), chairman of a leading corporation, who, after an accident, finds himself as soccer player Hwang Joon Hyun (Lee Jun Young) and ends up living a second life where he has to start over as a rookie employee at his own company.
The teaser opens with Hwang Joon Hyun sitting in front of a game screen displaying "Welcome to Choi Sung Group."
He presses the start button and is prompted to choose between becoming a 72-year-old chairman and a 27-year-old intern and, after deliberation, chooses the latter. As he realizes he can run without getting out of breath, he instinctively knows he made the right choice.
The second dilemma he faces is whether to let the eldest son ruin the company or have the eldest daughter seize control.
Kang Jae Kyung (Jeon Hye Jin) declaring, "Choi Sung belongs to me now," and Kang Jae Sung (Jin Goo) firing back, "Do you really think this will make you chairman?" foreshadow a fierce succession war.
Next, he also has to deal with his youngest daughter. He discovers that his youngest daughter, Kang Bang Geul (Lee Joo Myung), whom he had sent abroad to study, secretly joined Choi Sung Group. After ending up watching over her work life, Hwang Joon Hyun bursts out in anger at her team leader, shouting, "How dare you treat someone else's precious daughter like that!" Kang Bang Geul, in turn, responds suspiciously, "Do you have a hidden daughter?"
Then, the final choice — protect Choi Sung Group vs. protect the children" — presents Hwang Jun Hyun with the ultimate dilemma. To Chairman Kang Yong Ho, who now lives inside Hwang Joon Hyun's body, Choi Sung Group is basically like a child he raised himself.
Reborn Rookie will premiere on May 30. The K-drama will be streaming on Viki. Watch the teaser here.
