Kim Sae Ron's posthumous film 'Everyday, We' confirmed to premiere in 2026
Actor Hwang Hee is confirmed to reunite with Ji Sung after six years.
On August 5, it was officially confirmed that Hwang Hee's 2025 K-drama project will be the upcoming MBC series Judge Lee Han Yeong. This will be his reunion with actor Ji Sung after six years. The two previously worked together in the 2019 series Doctor John.
This will also be the follow-up work of Hwang Hee after starring in the K-drama Love Song for Illusion with Park Ji Hoon, Hong Ye Ji, Ji Woo, Shin Gi Hwan, and Woo Hee Jin.
Hwang Hee started his acting career in 2017. He is best known for starring in the K-dramas Tomorrow with You, Arthdal Chronicles Part 1-3, Tale of the Nine-Tailed, The Veil, Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938, and more.
Judge Lee Han Yeong will tell the story of Judge Lee Han Yeong, who, after being wrongfully convicted and killed, is transported back in time 20 years to prevent his death. The story will be adapted from a web novel of the same name.
Aside from Ji Sung and Hwang Hee, the K-drama will be led by Park Hee Soon, Won Jin A, Baek Jin Hee, Tae Won Seok, and Oh Se Young.
In the series, Hwang Hee will portray the role of Park Cheol Woo. He is a righteous prosecutor and a passionate assistant to Ji Sung's character Lee Han Yeong.
Director Lee Jae Jin (The Spies Who Loved Me, Sisters-in-Law, and Woman with a Suitcase) will helm the upcoming K-drama.
Judge Lee Han Yeong will begin airing in the second half of 2025. It will premiere exclusively on MBC. According to reports, the K-drama will have a total of 14 episodes.
