IU remains undeterred in her pursuit of marrying Byeon Woo Seok in 'Perfect Crown'

Perfect Crown has dropped a new teaser. 

Perfect Crown follows Seong Hee Joo (IU), a chaebol heiress who has everything except a royal status, and Prince Yi An (Byeon Woo Seok), the king's son who, despite being a royal, cannot have anything, as they set out on a journey to carve their destinies, defying the social statuses that confine them.

The teaser captures Seong Hee Ju's unconventional marriage plan, one that is bound to set the whole nation abuzz. Though she possesses beauty, wealth, and ability, Seong Hee Ju has always had to confront the limitations that come with her status as a commoner and a child born out of wedlock. While searching for a marriage partner worthy of her standards, she comes up with the audacious idea of marrying Prince Yi An of the royal family.

However, Seong Hee Ju's plan to marry Prince Yi An and elevate her status is met with opposition from those around her. Even her chief secretary, Do Hye Jeong (Lee Yeon), and Prime Minister Min Jung Woo (Steve Noh), her close senior from school, express concern — but Hee Ju stays unwavered, asking, "Why can't I?"

Because approval from the cabinet is required for Prince Yi An's marriage, Hee Ju seeks out assistance from Min Jung Woo, who is both the prime minister and her long-time school senior, asking, "Please approve my marriage," with the reason being, "I'm looking to move up in society."

As Prince Yi An slowly finds himself drawn to Seong Hee Joo's charm, she boldly proposes, "Will you marry me?"
