The upcoming zom-com My Daughter Is a Zombie has released a teaser trailer.
My Daughter is a Zombie tells the story of a doting father who tries to protect his daughter, who has turned into a zombie, from the world.
The teaser opens with Jung Hwan (Jo Jung Suk) humorously pretending to be a zombie to escape a life-threatening situation where he's surrounded by zombies.
He heads to Eunbong-ri, a seaside village where his mother, Bam Sun (Lee Jung Eun), lives, to protect his daughter Soo Ah (Choi Yu Ri), who has become the last remaining zombie on Earth.
The teaser gives a glimpse of the comedic father-daughter dynamics as Jung Hwan subdues Soo Ah while she constantly tries to bite him.
Then, Yeon Hwa (Cho Yeo Jung) comes into the picture. She despises zombies and says, "Is there a zombie I can hunt down and kill?", foreshadowing a looming crisis for Jung Hwan. Despite his fear of zombies, Jung Hwan teams up with his friend Dong Bae (Yoon Kyung Ho) to tame his zombie daughter.
From basic etiquette to exercise, dancing, and not-biting training, Jung Hwan does everything to make his daughter seem normal.
