Joo Sang Wook to finally make a comeback in K-dramas with Manager Kim.

On November 21, media outlets reported that Joo Sang Wook will be added to the cast of the upcoming SBS K-drama Manager Kim

Joo Sang Wook's agency also confirmed the reports. HB Entertainment shared, "Joo Sang Wook will be part of the cast of the new SBS Friday-Saturday K-drama Manager Kim, which will premiere in 2026."

Manager Kim will tell the story of a former single black-ops member and single father who has since become a company manager. He was living an ordinary life until his daughter suddenly went missing. He decided to reveal his status as a black-ops member to rescue her by any means. He will do everything to find his missing daughter. The K-drama will depict its story from the webtoon of the same name, written by Toy and illustrated by Jung Jong Taek.

Director Lee Seung Young (Wonderful World and Tracer) and writer Nam Dae Joong (Love Reset, Homme Fatale, and The Last Ride) will work together for the upcoming K-drama.

So Ji Sub, Choi Dae Hoon, Yoon Kyung Ho, and Son Na Eun will lead the upcoming K-drama. 

Joo Sang Wook will portray the role of Joo Kang Chan, the CEO of Juhak Construction. He started as a gangster and rose to success as the CEO of a construction company. He resorts to violence when things cannot be solved by money.

Manager Kim will begin airing in 2026. It will be part of the SBS Friday and Saturday K-drama timeslot. It will reportedly have 8 episodes. 

This will be the return of Joo Sang Wook to the K-drama scene after three years. He last starred in the series True to Love

Earlier this year, he made a cameo appearance in Buried Hearts, led by Park Hyung Sik, Huh Joon Ho, Lee Hae Young, Hong Hwa Yeon, Woo Hyun, and Kim Jung Nan.
