Disney+'s original series Tempest, starring Jun Ji Hyun and Kang Dong Won, has confirmed its release for September 10.

Tempest tells the story of Moon Ju (Jun Ji Hyun), a diplomat and former ambassador to the U.S. with an international reputation, who, along with San Ho (Kang Dong Won), a special agent of unknown nationality, pursues the truth behind a massive incident.

The newly released poster employs striking contrast of red and black-and-white tones, unique textures, and objects to vividly portray the visuals of Moon Ju and San Ho. Desogned by the UK's renowned promotion agency Empire Design, the poster hints at the scale for one of 2025's most anticipated global projects.

The ominous visuals of a mysterious object submerged deep underwater and a fighter jet slicing through the sky elicit a foreboding vibe, building curiosity for the secrets to be revealed. Queen of Tears's Kim Hee WonThe Roundup: Punishment director Heo Myung Haeng, and Little Women screenwriter Jung Seo Kyung brought their talents to Tempest. 

The K-drama boasts a stellar cast led by Jun Ji Hyun and Kang Dong Won, joined by Lee Mi SookPark Hae JoonKim Hae SookYoo Jae MyungOh Jung SeLee Sang HeeJoo Jong HyukJohn Choand Won Ji An. 

Tempest will premiere exclusively on Disney+ with three episodes dropping on Wednesday, September 10, followed by two new episodes every Wednesday starting September 17, for a total of nine episodes.
