Hospital Playlist spinoff, Resident Playbook, is a drama about doctors working at Yulje Hospital, depicting the growth of residents who dream of becoming wise doctors as they navigate their struggles.
In the drama, Goo Do Won (Jung Joon Won) is a fourth-year resident who goes as "Chief Goo" to the professors and "God Goo" to the junior residents.
Equipped with composure, decisiveness, speed, and meticulousness, he is the Superman of the obstetrics and gynecology department — always showing up whenever an issue arises in the hospital and disappearing just as swiftly once the situation is resolved.
With both personality and skills perfectly balanced, it's only natural that everyone in the hospital — from professors to interns — relies on Goo Do Won. Upon that, the coming of first-year residents causes his already busy phone to ring even busier. Curiosity grows over how these newcomers will impact Goo Do Won's life.
The stills capture a hectic day in the life of Goo Do Won. With no time to even rest his head on a pillow, he rushes from the ambulance bay to the operating room and the doctors' lounge, handling everything single-handedly.
